VLOG | 24 Hours of Writing
I had a *rough* week at work, and I was looking pretty rough around the edges too…I think I’m pretty much in pajamas with messy hair and no makeup for this whole video…but that was kind of the point!

Re-Writing The Island
I wrote it knowing nothing about plot, structure, character development…I just had this story inside of me.
As much as I love this story, there are parts of me that now cringe when someone wants to read it because I know the writing and story arc are not reflective of the way I write now.
In 24 hours, The Island will be pulled from the shelves. It will be gutted and re-worked. I may go in and add dual POV so we get to know Gabe and Michael better. It could wind up being a duet. I may add some more story elements. I want it to be amazing. I want it to be something I am proud of.The Island: a MFM romance
Re-Writing The Island
As many of you know, my debut novel was The Island. The love story between Amie, Gabe and Michael. I love this story, with my whole heart. I wrote it more than 7 years ago now, when my heart was full of emotion and my head was in need of a distraction.

Rocking Autumn nominated for Best Rock Star Romance | Rocking Forever ♥ |Book Signing
Somehow, some way – someone nominated Rocking Autumn for Best Rock Star Romance on Love&Lace InKorporated’s Fall 2018 book awards. Thank you to everyone who has purchased and reviewed the audio version of Rocking Autumn. It was so fun at my recent book signing to have so many people approach me about having just listened to it, and falling in love with Jaxtumn (though I’m sure it had more to do with Steven Barrett’s voice than anything)

The signing was incredible, I truly enjoyed talking to everyone who came to my table. I loved meeting some authors that I have been fan-girling over forever (Teri Kay, BT Uruella, Golden Czermak, CC Monroe, Amy Briggs, S Van Horne and PA Vaschon just to name a few) I got to meet the amazing Reggie Deanching – photographer of the cover to How We Fall and got to watch the behind the scenes of a photo shoot – all in all…an amazing weekend I will cherish forever.
So now…drum roll please…
Rocking Forever is FINALLY happening. I kept promising it, and kept having a hard time. Now it’s time to take Jaxtumn off their pedestal and fuck with them a little bit…and then give them a real HEA 
and uh…just FYI…Steven already asked to do Rocking Forever

First, I would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Steven Barrett for bringing Jax and Autumn to life. His “Jax” was amazing, and honestly made me crush on him a little harder. Steven’s voice is smooth, sexy and emotive – and I couldn’t have asked for a better narrator.
Through the process I learned that this was Steven’s first romance narration, and also the first time he had narrated a sex scene (which by the way, he nailed) and the feedback I’ve gotten from some listeners already crush on his voice like I do. One messaged me asking: where has this guy been hiding? Followed by a bunch of heart eyed emoji’s.
It’s also made me realize – I really dropped the ball on finishing up their story. Because they do have some loose ends that need to be tied up, and part of me really didn’t want to mess with their happily ever after and put them through the ringer again! But, sorry “Jaxtumn”…your time has come to be put through hell once again. But I promise, it will be worth it. As of today, Rocking Forever is on, as they say, like Donkey Kong.
