Get Ember Burning on Audible
With life rushing by, sometimes it's been easier for me to enjoy a good book while doing other things, like driving, pulling weeds and doing the dishes. The secret? Audiobooks. The narrator's voice has to jive with me however.
When he or she does, I can be hooked. I actually read a whole book-- Nerve by Jeanne Ryan-- while replanting my front garden one Sunday afternoon. The ultimate multitasker.
That's part of the reason why I was determined to get Ember Burning out on Audible. I found voice talent Moira Todd, who perfectly embodies the voice of Ember. I loooove the audiobook.

A peek inside Trinity Forest
It's pretty great when the stars align. I was lucky enough to have crossed paths with Walter Mather, a talented videographer who creates shows for the National Geographic Channel and Discovery, and with Jaimee Rindy, a promising young writer who will likely go on to be the next Steven Spielberg.
They, along with a cast of great volunteers-- Jake Beauprez, Brendan O'Donnell, Saphira Klearman, Tyler Beckum and Erik Sale-- all stood in the heat for two days to help me produce a series of video snippets for the book series. I am so incredibly grateful to the team, and I think the videos will be pretty cool.
