Wendigo Excerpt

Scott nuzzled his face deep into the crook of her neck, breathing in her scent. Loving every bit of her. He kissed her there, and when he did flashes of blood and flesh pulsed through his mind. The lilacs. The whispers. He stuck his tongue out and traced the fine line of her jaw bone. She jumped back.
“Did you lick me?”
“I love you.” He said and drew her close again. “I’ll help you leave this place.” He whispered to her.
He pushed his lips to her cheek, kissed her gently and felt the rush of saliva, and yearning filled his mind. Some part of him, deep within, began to cry and scream out in protest as he opened his mouth and ripped into her soft flesh.
