Lazy Sunday

It's been a while since I've had a Sunday that didn't require much of me. The sheer nothingness was at first daunting, but if ever there existed a person up to the task, it's yours truly.

Seldom-used muscles are sore, and I'm a little crispy around the edges from too much sun. However, nothing of real meaning dropped from the to-do list, so I'd call the day a success.

In the process of finding my sunglasses for the umpteenth time, I had a revelation. Two plot bunnies that I'd been bumping around found one another and - as rabbits are known to do - reproduced. Unreliable narration makes for horrible legal testimony, but fabulous storytelling. I see a mystery in my future involving a woman who's misplaced someone very important to her, an irreplaceable confidante, but keeps up her end of their regular communication anyway.

I hope your weekend was decadently restful. And that you can find your sunglasses whenever you want them.
