Colors!!!

In other news, I created a coloring book. Because what better way to de-stress and to procrastinate on the book you're supposed to be writing? (And I can listen to audiobooks when I work on the designs. I LOVE audiobooks!)

If you're curious, you can find it here.

Happy holidays!

Writing update

Just a quick update, for those of you asking about book 2 in the Sand Runner series.

Yes, I'm hard at work on it and making progress! I will keep you updated about the specific dates (cover reveal, pre-orders, release date, etc.) but it shouldn't be too long now. I want to know what happens to Kai and Emily as much as you do!

Thanks for your support. :)

Read the first few chapters of SAND RUNNER right here, on Goodreads!

Hi there. If SAND RUNNER sounds intriguing, but you just don't know if it's for you and/or you have 50 other books on your to-read shelf, I know the feeling and I want to help you out.

So now you can... read the first few chapters of SAND RUNNER right here on Goodreads and decide! Just click on the "Read book" link under the cover image.

And if you like it, and want to read the rest, then - fantastic! Head over to Amazon, Kobo, or Barnes & Noble to grab your copy. (The ebook comes out on June 2, but I may make the paperback available before that...)

Kirkus review of SAND RUNNER

Turns out Mondays aren't all bad. Not if you get an email from Kirkus Reviews with a link to their review of your book - and they liked it!

My two favorite podcasts for writers

I don't know about you, but I love listening to podcasts. I can listen to them when I walk, cook, or clean the house. It's great!

Here are two of my favorites podcasts about writing. But there is so many more out there!

Writing Excuses: Awesome advice on all aspects of writing craft from 4 experienced writers (including science fiction & fantasy writer, Mary Robinette Kowal) and their guests.

The Creative Penn: The scoop on all aspects of the writing business, including all the newest trends & opportunities, from a savvy and contagiously upbeat thriller writer & creative entrepreneur, Joanna Penn, and her guests.

I highly recommend both of these podcasts!

Do you listen to any podcasts on books or writing? I'd love to hear about them.
