Smooching in movie trailers

I love movies. There's nothing better than to sit in a darkened cinema, munching on popcorn, slurping a nicely chilled coke and watching a great movie.

As much as I love movies, I love trailers as well. Sometimes I'll go watch a movie, that I adamantly refused to see, only because the trailer was great. Most of the time I'm glad I went and see it, sometimes the trailer is a hundred times better than the actual movie and I could've saved some bucks.

It's not much, mostly silly stuff when I'm bored and have nothing better to do, but I'll be updating that one even when avoiding the Internet - texting in from my vacation.

Stickies

I love sticky notes. If I could I'd stick them anywhere. Not so much as reminders, but because I just love them. All colors, shapes and sizes. I think I have them in the shape of a mushroom somewhere. Oh, well. No with Vista I can have them on my Desktop as well, beside stuck all over my desk, bookcase, and computer screen.

I've pushed The Phoenix a little to the side. I've been sidetracked by another story. Which is almost finished as I'm writing this post, but I'm probably looking at an extensive editing period. I like parts of it, others I disliked as soon as I typed them, but somehow I just kept going. I liked the story too much to stop and try to fix things right up...That's what editing's all about. *grin*

Sheesh, I can't believe I'm such a weakling. Well, today I've hit another low on my weakling chart.

After the previous post you'd think I'd steer away from the Twilight madness...Okay, so I bought the soundtrack, but that's because it was one of the few (very few, too few) good things about the movie.

Twilight, the movie

I've been aware of the so-called "Twilight series madness" for some time now, but I was quite skeptical about reading the book that started it all...And subsequent sequels. I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's the fact it's a vampire YA and as far as I'm concerned, a vampire book has to have loads of "steam" and blood drinking. And you won't find that in a young adult novel.

I'm fully aware I'm risking quite an outraged uproar with what I'm about to write, but it needs to be said. I need an ad...
