Slow Shifter is coming!
I've been having so much fun wrapping up the story of Clara and Tomas for Leading Librarian on Kindle Vella. Having short, manageable chapters to write for that format has been a great education on pacing.
Next month Slow Shifter releases! This second story in the bear shifting world introduced in Leading Librarian, brings Rayanne and Damien together. Rayanne doesn't really believe she's a bear shifter, despite her DNA test. She's never felt like shifting, after all. and she certainly doesn't believe she's in danger, though FBI Agent Damien tells her otherwise. She just wants to stay in her house and write, though her reviewers are telling her that her books need something new. If only she had something new going on in her life...
Next month Slow Shifter releases! This second story in the bear shifting world introduced in Leading Librarian, brings Rayanne and Damien together. Leading Librarian is getting spicy...
I'm excited to launch a Kindle Vella story beginning 8/26, Leading Librarian! The fun part for me is putting something romantic in each part of this 10 part story!
Clara has never shifted, but she has a rare type of bear shifter DNA. Tomas is the FBI agent assigned to protect her from the attacks on bear shifters happening in the Pauton area.
While I've written about bear shifters before, this is a new town and series for me. A full length story, Slow Shifter will be published in early October, followed by Delicious Damsel and Daring Designer. Do you like bear shifters? Which have you read?

Leading Librarian is coming to Kindle Vella!
Have you read any stories on Kindle Vella yet? Some days I only have the attention span for the short chapters, and love looking forward to the next installments.
To kick off the new Bearly Midlife series I'm starting this fall, Leading Librarian will be published on Kindle Vella beginning August 23.
In this series, you'll meet ladies in their 30s and 40's who have genes from a rare strain of bear shifters. That strain is currently being targeted by a group who are against shifters, and bears in particular.
You'll also meet the FBI agents and shifter experts assigned to protect them.
Leading Librarian stars Clara, who just wants to continue her work developing a bear research center at her library. She doesn't really believe the people who seem to have been shooting at her are really after her. Her life is boring, right? Tomas, the FBI shifter department agent assigned to her, finds her anything but boring.
