I loved that light filtering through the trees this morning and I couldn’t resist taking a short video. I was listening to Harold Budd & Brian Eno’s “A Stream with Bright Fish” and reading over some notes from talks about writing when I heard my friend Sarah Aronson (writer, teacher, coach) asking me the question. With Groundhug Day I was going for a slightly more washy layered look so it will look a bit different than the pastel detail from The Great Redwall Feast that I posted yesterday. Nevertheless, I see the two sets of work as similar. It can be a bit tricky to compare the two works so directly as The Great Redwall Feast was published in 1996 and Groundhug Day was published twenty-one years later in 2017. As you would imagine some of my technique, regardless of medium, has changed.
