#NewRelease: Dream Lover by Nancy Fraser @nfraserauthor

Like most authors, Nancy Fraser began writing at an early age, usually on the walls and with crayons or, heaven forbid, permanent markers. Her love of writing often made her the English teacher’s pet, which, of course, resulted in a whole lot of teasing. Still, it was worth it.

When not writing (which is almost never), Nancy dotes on her five beautiful grandchildren and looks forward to traveling and reading when time permits. Nancy lives in Atlantic Canada where she enjoys the relaxed pace and colorful people. She invites you to visit her website, her blog, and follow her on Twitter. Or, more importantly, just enjoy what she writes.

Haley Parker lost her academic scholarship when she quit school to care for her dying mother. Now, eager to return to her studies, she must find the perfect job that will allow her the freedom to attend evening classes.
Her best friend Chloe teaches at one of Boston’s finest private schools, a job Haley had once hoped would be hers. When Chloe snags Haley a referral for a position as nanny to high-powered attorney, Eric Garrison’s, two young children, Haley looks forward to taking on the task.
Eric finds himself drawn to the intelligent and loving young woman who has bewitched his children. It’s not long before he’s re-thinking his plan to avoid romantic entanglements. On a family vacation to Paris, he finds it impossible to resist the lovely, yet innocent Haley.
Haley willingly gives up her innocence for a chance to make love with Eric, even though she realizes it will change their professional relationship forever.

Haley shifted in her seat, admittedly a bit nervous about her lack of expertise. “I have no practical experience as a nanny. However, I have extensive babysitting experience, first aid training, and three years of college specializing in education, focusing specifically on the early years. Plus, I am in good health, a quick learner, and I love children.”
Rather than respond, Haley noticed a change in Mrs. Wilkes demeanor, a lift of her head as if she were looking past Haley. “Mr. Garrison,” Mrs. Wilkes said suddenly. “We weren’t expecting you to visit today.”
Visit? Haley turned in her chair to get a look at the man who only visited his own home.
Eric Garrison wasn’t at all what she expected. Much younger than she’d anticipated, his rakish smile and tousled blond hair spoke more of a professional athlete than a distinguished attorney.
Their gazes met, his smile broadened and he winked at her. Haley immediately turned back around in her chair, and met Sally Wilkes stern frown, the woman’s disapproval aimed directly at the man behind her.
“Who have we here, Sally girl?”
Sally girl? What a strange way to address your employee.
“This is Miss Haley Parker. She’s here to interview for the position of the children’s nanny.”
“Has my sainted perfectionist of a brother scared another one away?” the man asked.      Brother? The realization sank in quickly, along with the young man’s words. Just how did one scare away a nanny?
Sally Wilkes released a long-suffering sigh. “Miss Parker, may I introduce Stephen Garrison, Mr. Eric Garrison’s younger brother.”
“Half-brother,” Stephen corrected. “We wouldn’t want Miss Parker to think Eric and I are fully related. She might get the wrong impression of me.”
Haley turned to face the younger Garrison. “It’s a pleasure, Mr. Garrison.”
“Call me Stephen, please,” he said. He turned to Mrs. Wilkes and smiled broadly. “She’s a keeper, Sally. I can tell. I suggest you give her the job.”
Under any other circumstances, Haley would have been grateful for a recommendation. However, she had the distinct impression Stephen’s opinion might do more harm than good.
Nancy will be awarding $15 Amazon or B/N GC to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour. a Rafflecopter giveaway

#NewRelease for The Love Brothers Series by Liz Crowe @beerwencha2

Amazon best-selling author, beer blogger and beer marketing expert, mom of three, and soccer fan, Liz Crowe lives Ann Arbor. She has decades of experience in sales and fund raising, plus an eight-year stint as a three-continent, ex-pat trailing spouse.

Her early forays into the publishing world led to a groundbreaking fiction subgenre, “Romance for Real Life,” which has gained thousands of fans and followers interested less in the “HEA” and more in the “WHA” (“What Happens After?”). More recently she is garnering even more fans across genres with her latest novels, which are more character-driven fiction, while remaining very much “real life.”

With stories set in the not-so-common worlds of breweries, on the soccer pitch, in successful real estate offices and at times in exotic locales like Istanbul, Turkey, her books are unique and told with a fresh voice. The Liz Crowe backlist has something for any reader seeking complex storylines with humor and complete casts of characters that will delight, frustrate and linger in the imagination long after the book is finished.

Love Garage January 5, 2015 (ebook and audio)   ~   March 14, 2015 (Print) Pre-order from Amazon
Blurb Antony Love is the quintessential responsible oldest brother of a boisterous, Italian/Irish family, placed in charge at a young age by his parents who are busy running the family business. He manages his siblings with a fair but iron hand, until his life is shattered by personal tragedy leaving him the shell of the man he once was.
When outspoken matriarch Lindsay Halloran Love falls ill, the youngest brother Aiden shows up at Antony's garage, having dropped out of school (again), needing work and a place to crash. Antony provides both, with three caveats: "Don't smoke in my truck, don't be late for work, and don't mess with my girlfriend."
But Aiden Love, budding novelist, gets one glimpse of Rosalee Norris, young widow of Antony's lifelong best friend and all bets are off.
Set in horse country near Lexington, Kentucky, The Love Brothers Series is a saga of family devotion that runs as wide and deep as the Ohio River--except on Sundays when brothers Antony, Kieran, Dominic and Aiden work out their frustrations on the basketball court, Love brother style. Excerpt:
Love Garage opened bright and early the next morning, a Saturday, a day Aiden had hoped to spend recovering.
“I get so many oil changes and random small jobs on Saturdays, it doesn’t make sense to be closed and let the jackasses with the Quickilube at Walmart get the business,” Antony insisted when Aiden groaned with dismay upon being awakened after two hours of drunken sleep. It didn’t help that the awakening occurred at the business end of a thrown pillow. “Get up, Romeo. You owe me rent money.” He did, slowly, queasily hitting a shower, sore all over, his skin mottled from bug bites. But nothing topped the glorious agony of a bourbon hangover like the one that had him firmly in its evil grasp. He slouched out the door, cursing Antony, cursing Tricia, cursing her ex-husband for throwing her in his path last night. But mostly cursing his own weak-ass uselessness. He rested his head against the cool comfort of the truck window until Antony hit a bump or two, which sent extra pain jolting down his spine. “Sorry,” his brother muttered, glancing over at him. “No, you’re not.” “Got me there. And you’d better warn me if you’re about to toss your cookies. I won’t have that in my vehicle, got me?” Aiden rubbed his neck and nodded, swallowing the urge to throw up all over the pristine interior on principal. “Why d’you hate me so much? You used to like me.” He stared over at his brother, heart thumping, ears humming, throat closing up with nausea. He despised waking up still drunk. “I don’t hate you.” Antony turned onto the main road headed into town. “Could’ve fooled me. You’re a real asshole anymore. Worse than Dom.” Antony merely shrugged, not rising to that tried-and-true bait. So they spent the rest of the ride to the garage in silence. Once there, Antony sat gripping the wheel. Aiden waited, hoping he’d get something out of him—something he would assure him that the man he thought he remembered as the protective, funny, and loving guy he’d grown up with still existed inside the guy walking around wearing Antony’s skin. Finally, he let go of the wheel, exhaled, and squared his shoulders as if prepping for battle. Aiden made a mental note to talk to Kieran about how badly Antony had descended into his life of non-stop mourning and jerk-hood. “So, Rosalee, not putting out for you or what? You need to get laid maybe? Knock the edge off?” The glare Aiden got for saying those particular words did make him worry Antony might punch his aching head through the passenger-side window. He clenched his jaw in the way Aiden remembered from their childhood. “That is so far outside the realm of your business as to be in another galaxy. Get to work and don’t say her name to me again.” And with that, Aiden was left with the fleeting thought that mentioning Rosalee directly was probably not a good idea. He surely didn’t need Antony to guess that her name was on his lips, or front and center of his mind. He shook his head—a Bad Plan because it summoned the pounding agony back with a vengeance. Groaning, he climbed out and shuffled over to the door. A new day began at Love Garage.

Excerpt:Kate had called Matt’s friend, Bobby, to have him meet her at the site. She strode toward the nearest construction worker who stood beside a work van. His back to her, he wore a hard hat and a white t-shirt that accentuated his broad shoulders and strong back, which tapered into a V toward a narrow waist. Tight blue jeans encased muscular, long legs and a sculpted backside. “Excuse me, sir,” Kate called out. “I need to ask you something.” Apparently, the man didn’t hear her because he disappeared behind the open doors of the van. She followed. “Could you please tell me if Bobby Owens is working today...?” she asked as she rounded the corner, only to find the man had stripped off his t-shirt, revealing a muscular, toned back. He turned to answer her. Trent Farrington! She gasped.  He stood before her bare-chested with his grimy t-shirt bunched in his hands. His muscles gleamed in the sunlight. Every thought in her mind evaporated. She couldn’t take her eyes off his chest, the smattering of dark hair there… “Dr. Meyers?” he asked, surprise in his voice. “I’m changing my shirt. What the hell are you doing here?” Cringing that she’d have to come up with some excuse for being here, she raised her gaze to his face. She hadn’t seen him since the time he’d discovered her in his office. That day, there had been no doubt that a fiery attraction burned between them—unwanted on both sides.   Enter to win a $20 Amazon/BN GC during the tour ! a Rafflecopter giveaway

#NewRelease: A Taste of Merlot by Heather Heyford

Born in the Northeast, Heather Heyford learned to walk and talk in Texas, and then moved to England. (“Ya’ll want some scones?”) While in Europe, Heather was forced by her cruel parents to spend Saturdays in the leopard vinyl back seat of their Peugeot, motoring from one medieval pile to the next for the lame purpose of ‘learning something.’ What she soon learned was how to allay the boredom by stashing a Cosmo under the seat. Now a recovering teacher, Heather writes love stories, feeds hardboiled eggs to suburban foxes, and makes art in the Mid-Atlantic. See more at HeatherHeyford.com.
 Blurb:
Raise your glass and join Heather Heyford as she pours a second serving in her series following these headstrong wine heiresses in their quest to strike out on their own… Merlot St. Pierre is struggling to break free from her family name. Her college classmates whisper behind her back that her passion for jewelry design is little more than a hobby, since she’ll always have her father’s fortune. But Meri is determined to prove them wrong, and with the help of a handsome jewelry buyer, she just may taste her first sip of success—as long as she can hide who she really is… Excerpt:Mark Newman’s family owns a chain of high-end jewelry stores, and he’s working hard to get out from under his aunt’s thumb and prove he has a good eye and a head for business. He’s certain Meri’s designs could be the next big thing, but he’ll have to convince her that she can use her famous last name to her advantage. As their business partnership takes root, an attraction begins to flourish—but they’ll both find that love, like wine, takes time to perfect…
Mark held the ring under the dangling ceiling bulb. “You’re right, this light doesn’t do much good at all. Here, let’s see how it looks on.” He lifted the fingers of her right hand and slipped the slender coil over her knuckle. “The vine motif is brilliant, and you did a kick-ass job setting the agate. It’s contemporary, but timeless. It’ll look right on any woman, from your age on up to great-grandmothers.”             But instead of dropping her hand, he surprised her by turning it over, bringing the center of her palm to his lips to kiss it as his eyes burned into hers through the gloom of the shabby studio.             Mesmerized, she watched him plant more slow, lazy kisses all over her palm, trailing down each of her fingers to their very tips, bringing a shiver to her spine. She waited for the inevitable scowl when he noticed how rough they were.             “That’s what years of manipulating metal on a daily basis will do to your hands. No matter how much I moisturize, it’s never enough.”             “Hands that work are way more interesting than those that don’t.”             When there were no more fingers left to kiss, he took both her hands in his. “You smell great,” he murmured. “Like roses.” The shop on the Champs-Élysées still shipped bottles of Maman’s bespoke fragrance to her daughters every year on the anniversary of her death.              He bent his head to bury his nose in the lock of hair that fell near her jawline. She shivered and arched her neck to give him access. His breath on her skin made her tremble with anticipation. For what seemed like forever, all he did was gently nuzzle her neck and toy with her hair, twisting a chunky lock around his fist to kiss, then drop, only to pick up another handful on the other side, raising and dropping it, watching it fan out in the dim light of the studio.               “Where’d you get such beautiful hair?” he whispered. He wrapped one arm around her waist to ease her closer—but not close enough—and slowly, slowly drew his fingers through her hair from the top of her crown to the middle of her back in long, brush-like strokes. Tantalizing her. Provoking her imagination.  She wished he’d do more with those hands soon, because she was about to melt. And then, when she couldn’t have waited one more second, he closed his eyes and angled his head, barely brushing her lips with his, only to withdraw and peer into her eyes with half-closed lids. Those eyes. They were indescribable. Sexy. Kind. All-knowing. The eyes of a hot young man with a wise old soul.             He turned his head the other way and lightly kissed her a second time . . . and to her ever-building frustration, pulled back yet again. She gave him a desperate, searching look. What was he doing, torturing her like this? He smiled. He was enjoying teasing her.             Enough. Merlot tore her hands from his, threw her arms around his neck, and kissed him squarely on the mouth. In response, he took possession of her, enveloping her tightly in his arms. Their bodies came together perfectly, hip to hip, breast to breast, mouth to mouth—thanks to those four-inch pink wedges. She felt empowered, up there at his height. She leaned in with her chin, expertly—if she said so herself—sucking his lower lip into her mouth.             Again, he pulled away—but then surprised her by taking her chin firmly. “Is that how you like it?” But she could no longer speak. He delved into her mouth with his tongue and explored her until she was panting. “Like that?” Then he did it again.             When she was dizzy, her lips swelling from the friction, he broke off and half-opened his eyes, pressing his forehead to hers, his warm breath fanning her face, his heart pounding hard against her chest.             He raised his head to gaze at her yet again, and his eyes had changed. The green was gone, replaced by jet-black disks of desire. “You okay?” he asked, his voice hoarse with passion.             “No.”             Concern washed over his face.             Meri had experience with the opposite sex. Way more than she cared to remember. She knew what came next. Heather Heyford will be awarding one e-book copy of A Taste of Merlot to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.   a Rafflecopter giveaway

The big break Trudy Hollander’s small accounting firm needs has finally arrived, but unfortunately it comes with murder, mayhem and Kristof Farkas, a man she just can’t seem to resist. Even worse, Kristof is the CFO of Dark Wolf Enterprises—the one person who can pull the plug on the job that will take her company to the next level.

And then there are the assassins who can jump from three stories up and still be able to run away…
Kristof has no intention of giving in to his inner wolf and claiming Trudy. She’s human. Too fragile to withstand being a shifter’s mate. But the need to protect her is stronger than his resolve, and his desire is more powerful yet. He’ll fight with everything he has to keep her safe, both from those who would hurt her, and from himself.
Excerpt:©A.M. Griffin
Trudy groaned. She had kneed her client, and very well the sexiest man she’d ever seen, in the nuts. She pretty much assumed getting fired was a done deal now.
He was the kind of man that women dreamed about. Tall, dark and handsome—literally, he was the epitome of it. He looked to be in his early thirties and too young to run a large company. He stood over six feet tall and had a muscular frame. His dark hair was cut short, not a strand seemed out of place. His eyes were dark brown and unsettled her as he watched her. His clothes looked expensive, from his shirt to his shoes and even the wool coat that he wore. If she was the swooning type, she would be on the ground.
The man standing next to him was just as handsome as Kristof was. He was dark and tall like Kristof but he didn’t have the same muscular build. He had lean muscles like a runner, while even with them hidden underneath his clothes Kristof looked to be all muscle. The two men shared so many similarities Trudy was sure they had to be related.
The officers had everyone wait outside while they did a sweep of her house. She stood in uncomfortable silence with Kristof and Lajos. Now was not a good time to ask them why they traveled all the way to her house. She needed to put some time between her assault on him and begging to keep the contract.
She tried to keep her eyes focused on anything except for Kristof but, no matter how much she tried, she kept peering at him from her peripheral vision. She swore he was doing the same and watching her as well. What she really wanted to do was touch him.
Do it. Touch him.
She took a step in his direction before she caught herself.
What am I doing? I can’t go around fondling my clients.
She didn’t know why, but she had these urges to go to him, stand next to him, caress his body and make love to him.
Shit. Get a grip girl.
It’d been a little while since she got laid, but this was going way beyond horny. It wasn’t even the sex part that pulled at her. It went way beyond that. It was as if she was supposed to trust him…with her life.
She needed to touch him. There was a sense of urgency to it. She maneuvered Piper to one arm and stuck out her hand. “Trudy Hollander.”
Kristof took her hand in his and there was an instant—something. Trudy couldn’t even describe how she felt, because she’d never felt anything like this before. Her hand and his felt connected, as if they were one. He looked down at her and his eyes changed color again. Something behind them flashed with sexual heat and longing.
“Kristof Farkas.”

Interview with @KPKollenborn for How the Water Falls

Although I've been writing since childhood, I have a BA in history. I love studying history as much as wanting to evoke stories. I like to believe that after decades worth of introspection we have learned to value our lessons, and the best way to recite our lessons are through storytelling. That's why I love history: To learn. To question. To redeem our humanity. Submitting to a moment in time allows us to remember, or to muse even, our society's past. Although writing can educate as well as entertain, yet what makes art incredibly amazing, to that of paintings, photographs, and music, it transposes emotion into another form of humanity, and therefore, it is our humanity which keeps all of us striving for an improved future.
I am fortunate to have been trained by one the top ten writing teachers in the US, the late Leonard Bishop, and author of 'Dare to be a Great Writer.' I owe my love of writing to him. In addition to writing, I draw, paint, create graphic design, and am an amateur photographer.
WebsiteFacebookTwitterBlog GoodReadsYouTubeGoogle+Pinterest
1. At any given time do you work on only one story at a time and maybe plot out the next one or are there many ideas racing around your head?
I try to keep focus by writing on one story at a time, although smaller stories have unexpectedly popped out and have become incomplete projects as a result.  But I do keep mental notes of future stories in the back of my mind that can ferment for years before I decide to commit.

2. Is there a genre you haven't written in but would like to? Or wish you could write in?
I enjoy watching science fiction, although can’t write in that that genre.  I have tried on several occasions and have felt like wearing clothes that were two sizes too small.  Just not a good fit.

3. Do you add an element of romantic suspense in your stories?
With my second novel, How the Water Falls, yes, because that was an easy fit.  Already dealing with the backdrop of South Africa’s apartheid, and establishing two of the characters with different backgrounds and political beliefs, it was as if the tension and suspense was outlined for me.

4. Say you have unlimited funds: What kind of writing office/cottage would you create for yourself?
With unlimited funds, I would put up Fort Knox so I could have complete privacy and no distractions!

5. If you could turn your novel into a TV show, which novel or series would you do? Where would it be set? Network TV (ABC, NBC, CBS), Cable (AMC, BBC, Lifetime) or Premium Cable (HBO, Showtime, Starz)? It would either be HBO or Showtime based on the violent and sexual content of the book without censorship, while maintaining the integrity of a strong plot and strong characters.

6. Finally, tell us about your latest release!
On the fringes of a civil war arise a kaleidoscope of stories of abuse, power, betrayal, sex, love, and absolution, all united by the failings of a dying government. Set in the backdrop during the last years of South Africa's apartheid, How the Water Falls is a psychological thriller that unfolds the truth and deception of the system’s victims, perpetrators, and unlikely heroes.
The two main characters, one white, Joanne– a reporter, the other black, Lena– a banned activist, have their lives continuously overlap through the people they know during a thirteen-year period and eventually become friends as a result of their interviews together. Joanne personifies the need to question and investigate apartheid’s corruption from a white person’s perspective.
Although her intentions begin with idealism, no matter how naïve, as the years pass while the system is failing, she crosses the threshold of what it means to be caught up inside the belly of the beast, especially after crossing paths with the Borghost brothers. Lena, who is inspired by her predecessors, such as Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela, is among the minority of black women to peacefully battle for equality, even if her struggle is indicative of sacrificing her health and safety.
Hans Borghost is Johannesburg’s commissioner of police who, like all those before, had a military background before pursuing a law enforcement career. Violent, manipulative, and controlling, he incarnates the image of South Africa’s perpetrators. Jared Borghost is the younger brother of Hans and, like his brother, has a military background, but unlike Hans, he internally combats between his sense of duty and morality. His inconsistency indicates a conscience that leaves one to ponder whether Jared is either a perpetrator, victim, or both.
As his surname suggests, Bor-GHOST represents the “ghosts” that haunt the family’s past. Many other characters play the roles of spies, freedom fighters, lovers, adversaries, and supporters.  This novel is as complex as apartheid was itself, unlacing fabrics of each character’s life to merge into a catalyst downfall.
The question of who will survive this downfall will suffice in the courts of truth and reconciliation and whether love is strong enough to preserve peace.

Gently pressing his hand for support, she said, “Good luck, Rrobbie. I’m surre you will find fulfillment dere.”
“So does my wife!” he laughed again. “She ‘as thrreatened to find anotha ‘usband if I don’t stop complaining so much.” Catching his breath, he announced, “So, Lena, shall we begin?”
He stepped back to the edge of the sidewalk and started to snap shots. Several people, who were white, walked by Lena and the other two protesters, and only glanced at the signs. Robbie took the photos of the passersby glancing at the signs. Although not stopping, they were at least noticing the existence of the signs. Robert eased his way around to photograph the two others who were dressed in their fine work attire appropriate for retail sales. Twenty minutes into the silent protest, the owner of the shoe store swung the entrance of the door open. In his early forties, wearing a suit and tie, he angrily pointed at his employee.
“What is the meaning of this, Dingane?” he demanded.
“Rread de sign, baas,” he calmly replied, as if softly blowing a toy boat down the stream.
Glaring at Robert, he turned his pointing finger into his direction. “You there!” he cried. “Stop taking photos! You have no right to take photos in front of my place of business!”
Robert removed his press card from his jacket to show the store owner.
“This is public prroperty,” Robert defended smoothly. “As a member of the prress, I ‘ave the rright to be ‘ere. You can call the police if you like, but I tell you, they cannot do anything to stop me.”

YoutubeBlurb: "Action against corrupt authorities mixed with master plans concocted from prison build the suspense of this young woman's story. "A precocious young woman uses prison computers to plot her future in the bundled edition of That Girl Started Her Own Country and its direct sequel, The Anonymous Girl. These two episodes of this series build mounting suspense about the mysterious heroine's family lineage and future plans. "To hide her identity, the titular girl uses aliases, such as Pippi Longstocking and Ester Bilderberg, but she calls herself Zaydee among friends. A reactionary moment with an FBI agent lands her in the Federal Detention Center in Miami. There, a sympathetic prison guard facilitates Zaydee's occasional time away, where she awaits trial for charges she insists are spurious. On these sojourns, she orchestrates revenge on the two FBI agents responsible for her incarceration and pursues romantic interests. While in prison, she sets in motion a master plan to establish her own country, using her computer skills to hack websites. Zaydee believes she possesses the resources to populate her private domain solely with exceptional people like herself. "Zaydee's mysterious identity is compounded by the parallel story of her twin sister, Lizee, who experienced a less nurturing childhood. Liz goes to London to visit her lover, Lars, a computer expert sequestered in the office of a hacking group. Unaware the two women are actually different people, Lars mistakes look-alike Liz for Zaydee, who he claims to truly love. Hearing a menacing noise at the office door, he tells Liz where to hide and gives her a box of letters intended for Zaydee. This chapter ends in heightened suspense: 'Slipping through the small opening [within a wardrobe], she let the door close behind her, sealing herself into the safe room.' Excerpt:She explained to Ralfsson why this was a good time for this business, that IPOs in the U.S. were drying up. “Consequently, I have a second proposal for you. You transfer to me the controlling interest in these shells, and buy from each company ten million dollars of stock. You will have a legal minority interest in each company. Then, I will make those companies successful.” Ralfsson would have thought it generous of Pippi under different circumstances, and he kicked himself for getting nabbed by the Feds. “But what if I don't have the funds and they were embezzled in turn from me, by my partner Barduri?” He took a breath before continuing. “I have with me two crooked hedge fund managers who will buy shares in shells. Will you let me have something for helping you recoup your losses? Let me bring them over to join us from that table over there.” He glanced at the table where the agents sat. The business suits made them look like they could be FBI agents, but otherwise they looked crooked. “I don't care how the fuck you get my money back as long as you get it back legally and without delay,” scolded Zaydee.  Ralfsson, now feeling confident, took a chance in going one step further. “There is one condition,” he said, as Zaydee narrowed her eyes at him. “As you know, I'm breaking the 'know-your-customer' anti-money laundering laws by representing you without knowing your true identity. Therefore, if you can’t properly identify yourself, I won’t lift a finger to help you. Of course, you can go to the police, but if you do you will incriminate yourself.” Zaydee's blood boiled. She sensed something afoot. There was something awkward about his demand. “I'll deal with you on a different level moving forward. You have been given a generous offer and have been forewarned. You should not take the consequences of upsetting me so lightly.” Enter to win a $25 Amazon GC or PayPal cast during the tour.   a Rafflecopter giveaway

Blurb: On the continent of Gaia, evil is brewing. Turncoat wizard, Balthyser, kidnaps the kings of Dahaka and Tapin. He wants the green rose, a source of powerful magic.
Princess Sonia of Tapin is forced to hunt down the rose in exchange for her father's life. It's the ultimate betrayal of Gaia's peace, but she has no choice if she wants to save her father.
Prince Ivánstan of Dahaka accompanies her on the journey. Both face challenges and obstacles that test their strength of character during the hunt for the rose. Dare Sonia put her trust and faith in a man she hardly knows to secure Gaia's peace or will the continent's harmony be shattered forever?

Excerpt: His lips brushed against her ear, sending a warm pulse of physical awareness through her. Ivánstan was all male. Slowly, she turned around in his arms to gaze into his eyes. They were soft now, the orange reminding her of the sun; his pupils, while still slitted, were narrow.
He said nothing, but held her firmly. Her heart pounded an erratic rhythm. What was he doing to her? Was the magic in their blood at work between them? Why did being in his arms bring her a sense of comfort? Protection? Desire? Could she even trust these feelings?
He leaned forward, opening his lips, his mouth skirting hers, teasing, tempting, before he gently covered her. He kissed her slowly, heightening the pleasure that spiked in her body as her breasts tingled against the fabric of her clothes. One of his hands rested at the base of her spine, supporting her. The other hand he brought up to her face and brushed his fingers against her cheek as they kissed.
By Nyla, she could barely stand, so lost was she in the pleasure of his lips. Fear quickened through her. No man had ever kissed her like this before -- so tenderly, so reverently. She placed her hands over his chest and pushed him away gently, placing distance between them.
Ivánstan cupped her cheek as confusion splayed across his handsome features. "What's wrong?"
"Why did you kiss me?"
Amusement filled his eyes. "Truth be told, I find you attractive."

Interview with Cristelle Comby for Danse Macabre @Cristelle

Cristelle Comby was born and raised in the French-speaking area of Switzerland, in Greater Geneva, where she still resides.

Thanks to her insatiable thirst for American and British action films and television dramas, her English is fluent.

She attributes to her origins her ever-peaceful nature and her undying love for chocolate. She has a passion for art, which also includes an interest in drawing and acting.
Danse Macabre is her third new-adult novel, and she’s hard at work on the next titles in the Neve & Egan series.
WebsiteTwitterAmazonGoodreads

1. At any given time do you work on only one story at a time and maybe plot out the next one or are there many ideas racing around your head? I like to plan ahead. Although the books in the Neve & Egan cases series can be read as stand alone, there’s a larger story arc playing out. In such cases, I believe it’s important to know what’s coming next to make sure clues align.

2. Is there a genre you haven't written in but would like to? Or wish you could write in?
I’d love to try some Urban Fantasy next. Make up a story with some wizards or something.

3. Do you add an element of romantic suspense in your stories?
It’s the one thing that seems to keep happening without me wanting it to. Thing is, I hate reading those stories with will-they-won’t-they situation that go on for ages, so I try to stay away from those clichés. But characters are at the center of each of my work, and relationships are what makes them evolve. So yes, there’s some romantic stuff happening here and there.

4. Say you have unlimited funds: What kind of writing office/cottage would you create for yourself?
I’d love to have a little house on a beach shore somewhere, on some tropical island. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large modern kitchen, and a little garden with an ocean view where I could write in the shade. Maybe toss in a hammock while you’re at it.

5. If you could turn your novel into a TV show, which novel or series would you do? Where would it be set? Network TV (ABC, NBC, CBS), Cable (AMC, BBC, Lifetime) or Premium Cable (HBO, Showtime, Starz)?
I doubt there’s enough room for nudity or violence in the Neve & Egan cases to qualify for Cable, so I’d go with a channel like ABC or CBS. They make some good crime drama.

6. Finally, tell us about your latest release!
Well, Danse Macabre is the third installment in my Private Investigators series, the Neve & Egan cases.
PI Alexandra Neve and Ashford Egan are hired to find a missing Prima Ballerina who’s vanished from her home in East London. Local police is also on the case, but there seems to be no clues as to what happened to the missing girl and overtime is frowned upon. Will Neve & Egan be able to score leads where the police cannot? Excerpt:  I take a better look at the dancer facing us. He looks… fragile more than shy. He has bags under his eyes, his nails show the traces of nervous biting, and his clothes are ill-fitting. Lack of sleep, tension, weight loss. What is going on in Marc Jules’ life? What is he trying to hide from us? ‘That’s not all, is it?’ I lean forward, look at him square on. ‘There’s something you’re not telling us. It’s plain to see.’ The young man shrinks in on himself even more. ‘No… no, nothing. I told you everything I know. I have no idea where Isabella is. I swear.’ A thought strikes me, and I try another angle. ‘She obviously means something to you.’ The man’s eyes shift to the side as he focuses all of his attention on the half-empty lemonade glass sitting on the table. Gotcha! ‘You like her, yet you refuse to help us; it doesn’t make sense,’ I continue. ‘What would Isabella say if she could see you now?’ ‘I don’t know anything,’ Marc protests with fervour. ‘Really?’ ‘I’d tell you if I knew. I like her, she’s my friend. I want to find her too.’ ‘Then stop lying to us,’ Egan says. ‘What are you not telling us?’  ‘If what you’re saying is the truth, you would do well to stop keeping things from us. You’re slowing us down, Marc; you’re wasting our time,’ I continue, relentless. I can feel we’re close to breaking him, so very close. ‘Do you know how valuable time is, in a situation like this? Time is everything. Every second we’re wasting on you is taking us further away from Isabella.’ ‘You’re letting her down, right now.’ Egan adds. ‘Maybe you’re not her friend after all.’ ‘No — she’s my friend. I swear.’ Marc rushes the words out, tears welling up in his eyes.  ‘She’s helped me when no one else would. I owe her so much.’ My eyebrows rise up at the words and I cock my head to the side, my expression expectant. Marc bites down hard on his lip the second he finishes his sentence. He didn’t mean to reveal this much to us, but it’s too late now. The cat’s out of the bag. I soften my tone now that I’ve got what I wanted. ‘What do you mean, Marc? How did she help you?’ ‘I don’t… she just…’ He stops himself, crosses his arms over his chest. ‘It’s nothing to do with any of this.’ ‘Let us be the judges of that,’ Egan says. ‘If Isabella was involved, it could be relevant.’ ‘It’ll stay between us,’ I promise. ‘We’re not the police, Marc. Whatever it is, no one else needs to know.’ The young man lets out a long breath as he uncrosses his arms. Defeated, he lets his hands hang limp in his lap. #NewRelease: Hand of Fatima by Myrna Sokoloff @Myrna888

I grew up in the beautiful suburb of Westport Connecticut. After Boston University, I moved to New York City. In Manhattan I spent time in many political campaigns as fundraiser and writer. New York was a Democratic town. We never fought with Republicans, we fought with each other! It was exciting and I thought I was making a contribution. When I moved to California, my connections helped me transistion into the political world in LA.

September 11th, 2001, changed me and I had to re-evaluate my politics. I used to work in lower Manhattan and saw on TV the streets and buildings covered with dust and so many people killed in an instant. In LA, I volunteered for the USO at LAX and watched Marines from Camp Pendleton fly out to their next training base. I also served an Army Family Readiness unit near me.I called families of deployed soldiers to check if they needed anything and helped with the Army Christmas parties for the kids. It didn't seem enough. I had to find another way to express my ideas and support the troops. I made political commercials and wrote articles.

In 2008 I was the co-writer and executive producer of the political comedy feature 'An American Carol'

I decided to write my first novel 'Hand of Fatima' because I was angry about the lies surrounding Benghazi, the terrorist attack that occurred in 2012. The four men that died that day had families and friends who loved them. Our leaders acted as if it was a political mess to get passed and forgotten. The novel is a thriller about terrorism and how it affects real people.

Excerpt:

Alex paced in front of D.C.'s Union Station. He had worked with Susanna and trusted her but she still worked for the President he did not trust.
Susanna saw Alex, took a deep breath and walked towards him. “Alex,” she whispered.
He turned and walked into the station and got lost in the crowds surrounding the fast food restaurants and sat at on a bench.
Alex started, “Tariq betrayed us.”
Susanna gasped, “How do you know this?”
“We've tracked him since the attack in Helmand Province,” Alex said breathlessly, waiting to see Susanna's reaction.
Susanna looked stunned.
“Tracked him—how could you track him? Do you have mercenaries in the field or is TJ's dad at NSA going outside the wire?”
“Tariq was there on the day of the attack.” Susanna’s mouth fell open.
Alex leaned close to her. “I'm not telling you the details because then you don't know anything to testify to in case…”
“Testify,” she shouted. “What do you mean? How do you know he was at the site of the attack?”
Alex looked glum. “I saw him!”
Susanna gasped. “Are you sure it was Tariq?”
“Yes absolutely. You forget I was observing his interrogation at Gitmo. You know what this means Susanna?” he carefully said.
Susanna sighed and leaned back on the bench, “The President's poster boy for Gitmo releases reverts to his old ways…he's still a terrorist.”
