Writing update
It's been a slow few months for writing, but I'm now starting to get back into the swing of it again, even if I'm only averaging a few hundred words a day so far.
Ealoryn #3 is properly underway. It's currently sitting at just over 11k words, and I'm now confident with its direction. I'm hoping it will be ready by autumn next year!

And another thing...
While waiting for my amazing proofreaders to do their thing, I decided to give Relioc Tower an update, which turned into a far bigger yet satisfying job than originally anticipated.
The story remains the same, but the text reads far, far more nicely now, and feels much less like a 'first published attempt'. Some parts feel like an entire new book!
Both Kindle and paperback versions have been updated and are available now on Amazon.
There's never been a better time to jump into the World of Ealor...

The Crushed Peak is now available!
I am extremely proud to announce that The Crushed Peak is now available on Kindle and in paperback!
This book has taken six months longer to arrive than first expected, but I feel that the wait is justified, and I am ecstatic with the final text.
Happy reading!

Shadows merely wait.

TCP Update
Only 3 months later than originally expected, the 2nd draft of The Crushed Peak is finally complete. There's approximately 1/3rd of the book remaining for another editing pass, and so I'm hoping, hoping, that it'll be ready to go out into the world by the end of the month.
The end is in sight!

Merry Christmas!
Did you know that kivvers celebrate a festival similar to Christmas? It involves: catching and skinning rats; mutual, semi-aggressive bashing of clubs on heads; many, many satisfied grunts. Few outsiders have observed these festive rites -- the ones who have can do nothing but laugh themselves silly.
May your tankard be full, your ale never spill, and your holidays be merry.

Short Story Week
This past week, I made myself a challenge: from Monday to Friday, write a complete story each day, using a generated plot which I would see only as I sat down to start.
So it turns out that this was a fun though thoroughly exhausting endeavour. Five complete, self-contained short stories, ranging from 2k to 10k(!) words each.
My particular favourite was Thursday's A Mini Adventure, followed by Monday's Horseplay. These two, and the other three, are all available from the Other Stories page.
