Pathfinder
Hot pollen snow
Clouds the soil like stars
Swirling around a galactic core
Gravity’s hand is pushed away
In favor of the cosmic breeze
Whisking them through the day
Leftovers from cast incantations
Spells from a book of maps
Full of blank spots
As it casts through the paths
Found by the pioneers
The world venators
Who rise to the challenge
Of slaughtering flora
In pursuit of discovery
They set out
And find what they’re
Searching for
Pollen dust
Billowing from branches
And weighted leaves
Like...

Woven Spirit
Your spirit has
Clung to me after
This morning
Like it never
Wants to leave
Your scent
Of sweet sweat and
Nitroglycerin trapped
Under straps
Of tank tops
Spirit still clings
To me
Threaded down to the
Skin beneath
Clothing
A heart of woe stayed
With the heat
Of punishment sustained
Cooling as it’s constantly
Exhumed

Indictment of the Time
Anise fills my mouth
While the words I speak
Stream
Surrounded
By the leaves of May’s gold
Cloaking treetops
Every little photon a bomb
Napalming and dancing along
So much more to go
Suddenly
As the song of fission
Must go on
Down veins
Down vessels
Arteries of firs
And these tall creatures
Tasting the clouds
As dusk rolls by
Turning the taste in their mouths
Specters of ichor float freely
As hot snow pollen
Of the trees’ telemetry
Radiolaria by another name
Ingrained with black anise
Blastin...

Bones of Glass
[image error]
Sony Alpha 6300. f/5.6, 1/13, ISO-100, 101mm.
Got some studio time in yesterday, and saw what it was like to take pictures of highly-contoured glass. I think I set my Sony correctly. Unfortunately, though, I had nothing to do with the advanced lighting of this one.
White Phosphorus
We can make crystals
With all the superheated
Sand we’ve sprayed with
White phosphorus

Jihawg Ammunition
Sand niggers have to
Feel pain, right?
Not enough to put them
In the grave
Patriot Act’s really brave
Gotta keep them all away
Bring Vietnam 2
To their homeland
Palestine’s not a
Real state, right?
He says we’ve spent
Seven trillion
In the desert, but
He lied
We’re better than
Those filming
Slow-mo det-cord
Executions
When we’ve got
Pig’s blood
Covering our
.45 ACP rounds
Ever seen
A sub-machine
Gun that could
Send you to hell?
Raze all the caves
Indescriminate
Raid every place
We can from th...

Databend
I took you
And bent you
Twisted unrelented
Until you came out different
Than when I put you in
A sweet memory or otherwise unremarkable
Photograph
Give me your bytes, and let’s reverb
What makes you whole
Play god with your DNA
Until you aren’t entirely you anymore

Mayrigold
Mayrigold waves
At the beach
Break as evening
Waxes and
Sunlight waves
Remember remember
That evening in May
When the mayrigold waves
Crashed into the bay
Sun hanging low
Red sky above
Remember, my love?
Remember that sun
We’ll see it again
In yellow, in orange
In pale-set gemstones
If not today
Then next May
We will, when the
Waves break again

Insurmounted
Salam.
What cruelty these
Cosmos voice at us.
As context grimly waxes
And ecstacy wanes, the pain
Of not holding you now
Mounts like mounts
Corroding into sunshot dunes
Of expansive, golden deserts.
Samawi
By recognizing
I’ll one day hold you again.
The insurmounted be damned.

Doxa
The absolution between
Seeing red and indigo
Is energy levels
Articulated in wavelengths
The people choose
What’s normal
By the will of thoughts
And deviance as crime
Be with the group
Conform or resist to norm
