What to say when said is too much.

Writing techniques, and selecting another word instead of ‘said’.

Have you been contemplating writing? Or have you written a short story or eighty thousand words? Writing can be therapeutic until you begin the editing side of things. Some authors love editing, while others hate it with a passion.

Things to look out for – repeating words. Check your word doc and go to search or find and type in a word you notice multiple times. Discover just how many times you have the one word. See if you can change it for another word meaning the same thing.

For example the word said – try any of these, depending on the storyline and character.

Affectionate – alternative for said.

Last chance at .99 cents

Hello everyone, my ebook Dark Surprises is currently at .99 cents at Amazon, and will be returning to its full price of $2.99 shortly.

A Billionaire – Secret baby – Revenge – Second chance – Novella.

The start of the book.

Chapter One
MISSY
“You need to get laid,” my best friend says
just as I take a mouthful of scotch.
Instead of the smooth alcohol sliding
down my throat, it spurts out of my nose and mouth,
spraying across the bar, and Neil bursts out laughing.
Not funny, Neil.
I swallow the remaining spirits in my mouth only
for the smoky caramel with pear and citrus flavors to
go down the wrong hole and begin choking.
My lungs fail to function as I gasp for air. Holy
crunch apples—if I don’t die, I’ll be amazed!

I manage to splutter a breath in at last between
each painful cough. Oh, crunch apples, my nose,
throat, and lungs hurt.
“Ah, shit,” I hear my so-called friend murmur.
“Sorry, Missy. Are you okay?” Is he kidding me
right now?

Page 2

I continue to cough and wheeze while my friend
repeatedly thumps against my back, and I dodge the
next bone-jarring whack. Cheeze burga. I’ll give him,
‘are you okay?’
My sinus cavities and chest burn from the spirits
—I now know how to clean my sinuses, and I don’t
recommend it.
I reach for a napkin off the bar and wipe my face,
and watering eyes. Thank God for waterproof
make-up.
A glass of water appears in front of me, and I
quickly take a mouthful. As soon as I have my
coughing under control and see-through blurry eyes, I
glance up at the annoyed, sexy bartender staring
straight at me.
Sorry, I mouth as I reach for another napkin and
begin mopping up the small puddles of scotch.
What a waste of good liquor!
“Geez, Neil, say it louder, why don’t you,” I rasp
on a shaky breath. “Just for that, you are no longer my
friend.”
I give my best friend I love with all my heart the
evil eye and slowly force air back into my lungs,
making sure I don’t cough one up.
“Come on, Princess, I’m serious. I am more than
your best friend, and you know it. Anyway, when was
the last time you got busy between the sheets?” He
attempts to whack my back again, and I dodge his
outstretched hand. “Any sheets for that matter?”

Page 3

I cringe at his words. Why do eligible men seem to
place me in the friend zone or run the other way?
I carefully wipe my face one more time, paying a
little more attention to my burning nostrils, and eye
my best friend up and down. All sexy six-foot-three
hunk of muscle, with his short dark hair, chiseled jaw
with a dimple, and Kingsman suit… and he bats for
the other team.
The carefree, fun-loving, annoying man has
probably had more action in the last week than I have
in the past year or more.
I continue admiring his body. If only I could
persuade Neil to turn Bi.
With my raspy breathing under control, I wait for
him to take another mouthful of scotch. With a
cheeky smile, I innocently mumble, “Can’t you close
your eyes and do me from behind?”
He bursts out laughing between half swallowing
and half spitting his drink out, just missing me.
He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand
and shakes his head. “Oh, Princess, you might have
a fine ass, but girl, no offense, I would never tap
you.”
I frown at his hurtful words and force my chin up,
knowing I should not take his words personally.
He places his empty glass on the bar’s surface,
gently reaches for my hand, and sighs. “Look,
Princess, if I tried tapping your ass with my granite
long cock, it would melt quicker than soft-serve ice

Page 4

cream on a thirty-eight-degree Summer’s day in
Sydney.”
“Thanks a bunch,” I grumble, yanking my hand
free and turning my back to him, unsure whether to
feel relieved or insulted. “You know, I could have had
Laini meet me here,” I innocently mutter, knowing
full well, whenever Laini, my old college friend, and I
get together, trouble follows.
“No. I put my foot down, Missy. I will not spring
you from lock-up again. You and Laini together are
nothing but trouble.” Yeah. Well, I will not dispute
that. It’s not our fault men act stupid around us.
Laini’s due to arrive in Vegas tomorrow night for
an author’s conference and a book signing. I was
hoping to catch up with her for a few hours.
“Has she told her family about her being a
published author yet?”
I throw my head back and laugh. “Nope.” I think
her family will have a stroke when they discover little
Laini is a published romance author. A successful one
at that. At least she writes under a pseudonym.
The woman is a well-known editor and journalist
for one of the famous women’s magazines here in the
States. I take another sip of my drink. “Oh, I gave her
some of my new merchandise to hand out.”
“What merchandise?”
“I’m dipping my toes into a printing service. You
know, like business cards, bookmarks, buttons,
banners, and posters. Laini commented ages ago how

Page 5

she and other authors are struggling to find a good
printing service who do not rip off their clients.”
Neil nods and sips his drink before asking, “I
didn’t think you were serious when you mentioned it
ages ago.” Great to know my friend has so much faith
in me! “So… how is it going so far?”
Ye of little faith. Thanks, Neil—Not!
“Good, actually.” Initially, I was surprised when
the orders piled in. “Business is picking up. But,
remember, it is a sideline, away from our advertising
business. Something to branch out on in the future.”
Laini had sounded desperate when she required
bookmarks to add to her signed books. With the
know-how and ability, I knew I had to do something.
So I created a couple of mockups. She loved them and
ordered a couple thousand there and then.

Page 7

Movement to my right snags my gaze. I
blink twice in shock.
Against the far wall, hiding in the shadows, I can
make out a woman seated between two guys, which is
not out of the ordinary for a bar.
What the…? Surely she’s not doing what I suspect
she’s doing? I focus on her wiggling arms. I blink
again to make sure I am not seeing things. Sure
enough, I can see her arms busy under the table in
both men’s lap.
You got to be kidding me…gross.
I turn and tilt my head to avoid the visual. Only
instead of witnessing their perverted behavior I can
now hear their soft moaning banter.
“Oh, yes, baby…”
“Firmer…”
“Faster…”

Page 9

“As if I’d do that,” he says over his shoulder, with
his trademark, over-the-top eye roll.
Yeah…right, Neil. I smirk. Just don’t pick-up in
the men’s bathroom, and chances are you might keep
your shoes safe.
I let out a chuckle and watch him disappear from
my view, working his ‘look at me’ sexy stride. I turn
back to my drink and savor my next sip when
orgasmic groans and grunts drift over from the three
going at it.
Bugger it…I attempt to block out the horny trio. I
focus on the overhead music playing some radio hit
and watch the unaware bartender serving drinks down
the other end of the bar to tune the annoying trio out.
It’s no use, aisle three’s voices increase in volume
and don’t even get me started on the female’s laugh—
as it grates my nerves like fingernails down a
chalkboard.
The owner of the male voice on the left I learn is
Travis, and his partner in crime is Simon. Travis,
Simon, and their female friend, Dolly, have enjoyed
the delights of Vegas, not just at the table but also in
Simon’s hotel bedroom.
Some people have all the fun!
I contemplate what it would be like to spend the
night with two men. What were the logistics of who
goes where and does what?
While lost in thought, my ears perk up when the
nympho group changes the subject and starts on a

Page 11

Travis cuts in, “Payback, Simon. Payback.” I hear
both men laugh. Then Travis gleefully states,
“Revenge is sweet, my man.”
Huh? What payback? Reve—
“Come, Princess. Let’s get out of here.” Neil
smiles down at me with way too much enthusiasm,
and I miss when Travis mentions something about a
hotel.
I glance back over my shoulder towards the
shadowed table, and one man moves forward,
illuminating part of his face. He laughs at something
and shifts back into the shadows.
His face seems familiar—do I know him? I shake
my head to clear the thought. Nah, I must be
imagining things. I turn and place my arm around
Neil’s, and we walk arm in arm towards our hotel.
I wonder if aisle three will set their friend up
tonight, or will Tanner escape their clutches?

Page 8

Come on…these strangers might be in the
shadows—but in Jack’s Irish Pub. Do these people
have any shame?
Ewww. I turn my head and shudder.
“You cold, Princess?” Neil’s smile is all sincere.
I sigh and angle my head towards the shadowed
table, and Neil glances at the horny bunch before
turning back towards me.
“Right. So action is happening in aisle three. We
sooo gotta get you laid, Princess. Look, we might as
well head back to our hotel bar.”
Feeling defeated, I nod and lift my drink to take
another mouthful.
Why do I sense Neil is feeling sorry for me? He
knows my non-existent luck with men?
After my last failed relationship with Dirty
Darren, I might as well turn into a nun or a born-again
virgin. Who would blame me for going off men after
his money-hungry, cheating ways! At least I have my
successful career to keep me busy and focused.
Lost in my lack of sex life, Neil interrupts my
thoughts. “Missy, I’m going to shake the python. Wait
here for me.”
I let out a laugh. Geez…If I were anyone else, I’d
be offended.
“TMI, Neil. Now, hurry up and don’t dribble on
your shoes.” I know for a fact the man has ruined one
pair of leather shoes, and he still denies it ever
happened.

Page 10

new topic on how they are planning on setting up one
of their friends with Dolly.
Seriously…why would they do that? I casually
glance towards them to focus on the woman. She has
big hair, big boobs, and a big high-pitched fake laugh
from what little I can see.
“Tanner is flying into Vegas,” Travis eagerly
snips. I face towards the bar, pretending not to be
listening, and lift my glass to my lips. “I have
everything planned. We smuggle Dolly into Tanner’s
room just before he arrives and set up a secret
camera.”
You have to be kidding me—a secret camera!
Before my imagination travels too far, I hear
Travis continue, “Tanner will find his welcome gift—
Dolly reclined back on his bed with a little sign
‘Welcome to Vegas’ across her tits. With the camera
recording, we’ll also film Dolly fucking Tanner with a
dildo while he’s tied to the bed.” The two males
laugh, and I shudder at the thought of these idiots.
Geez, a freakin’ Xmas, who needs enemies when
you have friends like these two?
If someone tied me up and did that to me without
my consent, I’d call bloody murder.
With my mind racing, I contemplate how Dolly is
going to tie Tanner to the bed.
Smug voices from the shadows grab my attention.
“Travis, it’s going to be a great night!” Simon
gloats. “Three more hours and showtime—”

To read or not to read!

To follow on from my previous blog on reviews – To Read or Not to Read allows readers to step into the book critic role and determine which books to recommend and which ones to skip based on their reflections throughout the reading experience… But, how as a reader, do we take each piece of criticism. Do we believe everything we read, or do we go with the flow and soak up everyone’s words, or maybe, we should make up our own minds.

Don’t forget, it is our time, our money going into obtaining the books, reading the books. Book reviews can help a book become established out in the big scary world. Then once the book is noticed and remarked upon positively, then other readers are much more likely to want to buy that same book. Reading is important to everyone based on the material we have selected because it develops our thoughts, gives us endless knowledge and lessons while keeping our minds active. Books can hold and keep all kinds of information, stories, thoughts and feelings unlike anything else in this world. Books can help to inspire students to do hard work with courage and hope, well, we can only wish. Each student can be enriched by the experience to sharpen their intellect. There are many benefits of reading books; students will get more knowledge, improve memory and build more vocabulary. Even with adults, one can notice a difference in their thoughts, speech, and memory. It helps assist to keep our brains active which we need. We require to keep moving forward pressing our thoughts and reading patterns into a educated way forcing the brain to be active and not be idle. So, if you’re looking for ways to improve your memory and concentration and also relieve stress, reading will help. The brain-stimulating activities from reading have shown to slow down cognitive decline in old age with people who participated in more mentally stimulating activities over their lifetimes. My grandmother always said to grab a puzzle book and enjoy, her mind was sharp. Her intellect was quick witted, and fast with a cheeky joke or phrase.

I personally prefer fiction books. It allows me for a short time to escape and take a break from my real everyday world and travel to all kinds of places and locations. Speak with different characters and learn along side the character in the story. We can laugh, cry, become angry, frustrated, and even excited. Each story your dive into can touch each person differently.

In fact, for years reading was the only form of personal entertainment, and perhaps this is why reading has been in the spotlight for such a long time. Reading has survived the years, and luckily, the benefits have survived right along with the books.

So what are the benefits of reading?

Children who read often and widely get better at it, which can also improve on their spelling and grammar.Adults who read often, can improve their reading skills and levelsReading exercises our brain.Reading improves concentration – unless the storyline is too intriguing and you’re so captured in the plot you forget all time! By concentrating on the words and the storyline, it stimulates your brain and cognitive functions. This particular stimulation can help sharpen your mind, especially the part of the brain that is responsible for concentration and critical analysis. Reading sharpens the brain much like you would sharpen a knife. This sharpening of the mind will eventually heighten your focus when concentrating on something important.Reading improves vocabulary and language skills, it is amazing what topics and facts you can learn from a book. Even ones written for fiction. For fiction readers, the odd reader finds themselves falling for the male or female hero, which is then confirmed as a book boyfriend or girlfriend. In fact, for years reading was the only form of personal entertainment, and perhaps this is why reading has been in the spotlight for such a long time – depending on the nature of the book. Reading has survived the years, and luckily, the benefits have survived right along with the books. Just look at how we travelled over Covid and becoming stuck in lockdown.Reading is great fun for many people, but it also has many benefits for your mental health in the form of thinking and understanding. Just to name a few reason to read a book.

So basically do yourself a favor and grab a book and read.

My latest print book read was –  The Sheikh’s Marriage Proclamation, by the very talented author,  Annie West
I was lucky enough to read an ARC, and boy did I love it. I enjoyed each page – Thank you, Annie West.

Reviews…

Book reviews…what do you think of them? Do you read them before selecting a book, movie, musical, car, travel?

With all the different varieties and topics of book reviews – the question is – What is a book review?

You can look at the wording book review as this meaning – A book review is a form of literary criticism in which a book is merely described or analyzed based on content, style, and merit. A book review may be a primary source, opinion piece, and summary review – basically what your thoughts were, what you thought about the writing style, what you thought about the characters, the storyline, the plot, basically anything to do with the book.

Remember, when it comes to reviews, you base your opinion on the book you just read, not the author. The number of reviews I have seen, based on the author, has nothing to do with the book itself or the actual story and characters. I have also seen reviews regarding the formatting, cover, and language inside the book, even when there is a clear warning stating the contents for mature audiences only. Some people do not take any notice or ignore, then turn around and complain about the contents.

A book review is a guide for potential readers

When reading a book review, does the reviewer display their words in the correct context.

A review also provides an opinion on whether the author succeeds in convincing readers of their points.

Should a review display – summarizes the author’s qualifications and main points, often providing examples from the text. Maybe in non-fiction, but in fiction writing, a story is just that a story. What you should be thinking – do the characters come alive, do you feel their pain or happiness? Can the story be real? Could it be real? Even though there are many forms of fiction writing, the author can transport you into the book if good enough. Allow the reader to lose themselves amongst the pages and follow the characters until the very last page.

So the next time you pick up a book or read the review, keep in mind – this is only one opinion. As the reader, it is up to you to make a choice – do I read or move onto the next book. Give the book a go. An author might write several books. It does not mean they are all the same. The books do not have to be all the same writing style. What one author wrote five years ago is not going to be the same as today. Authors grow. Their writing style slowly revolves and changes. Then there are the people who go out of their way just to bad mouth or give one or two-star reviews – these people have been known as trolls.

If you are going to write a review, keep this in mind – The four stages of writing a book review are: introducing the book, outlining its contents, highlighting parts of the book by selecting particular chapters or themes, and giving a detailed evaluation. In most cases, if and when I review a book, if the book is worth three stars, I do not bother leaving a review. I personally only leave four or five-star reviews.

So in saying that when giving detail about the content, do not go overboard and give the book away, spoiling it for new readers. Keep it brief. What are the most important aspects of the book? This can be cut down and separated by character, world-building, themes, if any, and don’t forget the plot! When you write about each aspect, either a few words to a paragraph for the necessary details for each, including – the way the author connects with you, did they connect with you? And last but not least, what you thought, your opinion, did you enjoy it, was it a page-turner, would you recommend it, and so on.

If a book was shockingly deficient in context, grammar, etc., do not write about it. Do not bad mouth the author. This only makes you, the reviewer look petty. If the spelling and grammar look as if the book has not been edited, contact the author. But, first, check to see where the book was written. Do you know how many reviews I have read, by people who state about spelling in a book, only to make themselves look silly. An author usually writes a book in a different country, which uses different spelling to words. I have seen authors state in their books regarding the spelling in their books. Keep in mind that what is spelt in the USA, the UK, Australia, for example, is and usually spelled differently. Or the meaning of words or phrases.

The Importance of Book Reviews

So remember – Book reviews give books greater visibility and a greater chance of getting found by more readers. On some websites, books with more book reviews are more likely to be shown to prospective readers and buyers than books with few or no book reviews. If you are a user of Amazon, you will notice this. Book reviews also help amplify the book’s reach among book clubs, bookstores, blogging communities, and other opportunities to gain attention from new readers.

For an author, book reviews can open doors to new and bigger audiences, plus place some form of income into their pockets. Remember, authors are human. They have families to support—food to purchase to feed their children. Keep a roof over their heads, pay the bills. I think you might start to understand where I am coming from. It cost money to publish a book. There is cover design, editing – far too many editors, as there are usually a few involved. Having the text formatted and prepared into the digital file, ready for uploading, is only the start.

So yes, leaving a review is essential. Plus, if it is a really good review, you most likely just made that author’s day, knowing someone out there enjoyed their months or maybe years – of hard work, that their stories are read and will continue to be read, encouraging them to continue to write.

Summing up – the presence of book reviews can help a book become established out in the big scary world. Then once the book is noticed and remarked upon positively, then other readers are much more likely to want to buy that same book.

Happy reading!

March is here!

Hello, and welcome everyone.

Can you believe it…March is here already!

I am still busy writing, creating and editing my three WIP’s. Yes, three of them, with a few others wanting out, and to join the other folders of completed manuscripts.

How is everyone? With Covid all over the place, and states and borders going into lockdown, how is one to make plans?

I am relieved my states lockdown is over for now. Time has been flying. Medical tests continuing. Did I mention I had another blood clot? It had been discovered in my original lung…and I have also had them in my opposite lung, since I left the hospital last year. The main solution is to remain on my higher blood thinner dose. After all these months, I was meant to reduce the dosage by now. Not any more. I do have more tests to have performed, but when I find out more, I’ll keep you updated.

I recently had seen my eye specialist – I do not have to go back for another eighteen months! Yay me. I also saw the optometrist. I also ordered new reading glasses! When they arrive, I’ll post a pic.

Before we know it, Easter will be here. This year is flying along.

The latest print book – I have read!

Have you been busy reading? I have. I even read The Sheikh’s Marriage Proclamation, by the very talented author,  Annie West
I was lucky enough to read an ARC, and boy did I love it. I enjoyed each page – Thank you, Annie West.
A bit of my review – Tara and Sheikh Raif story starts with betrayal. Tara escapes rolled up inside a carpet from her relative.
Sheikh Raif must decide what to do with the beauty at his feet. A love story watching two people who’s counties are enemies, who become friends, and more. Can Raif protect the beauty and save her from the family which betray her?
You will enjoy reading this well written, entertaining romance novel with a smile. Get a copy today.

Let me know what you are reading? Have you read, one of my books, yet? What did you think?

It is that time of the afternoon, where you must get your butt into gear and make a start on dinner.
Tonight I am attempting to make my sheppard’s pie. Apart from beef mince, and a mashed potato top, I also have several veggies inside. It’s one way to feed the family veg with meat!

Plus, people it is cuppa time. So enjoy the rest of your day. Grab a hot cuppa and a good book and relax.

Remember to read and keep the brain active.

Until next time.

M. L. Tompsett.

February 2021

Wow. Can you believe February is nearly finished already?

The New Year arrived, Australia Day has been and gone. Plus, Valentine’s Day has slipped through our fingers. With my state on lockdown, we had an extremely quiet Valentine’s Day. A day at home.

image of laptop and outdoors by a river drinking a cuppa tea.

One good thing before lockdown, I managed to get away to a peaceful place along a river in my state. A place to relax and unwind and I had hoped to write on my manuscripts. At least it gave me some idea’s and I managed to edit and write a few words on my three WIP’s.

May be an image of one or more people and text

I have also been busy with my other books. Insta Bride – My contemporary is currently on Kindle Unlimited for FREE. As you can see by the picture, this is the first chapter of the book.

Have you had a chance to read one of my books, yet? Take a look either on Amazon – Kindle, or any other good ebook retailer for a chance to journey to another place, and time.

I better get back to my typing and add more words to my WIP’s.

Plus, it is cuppa time. So make your hot cuppa tea or coffee and enjoy a good book.

Remember – Read a book today and keep your mind and brain active.

Until next time.

Happy 2021 New Year!

Hello everyone, and welcome to 2021.

May this year be better than the last.

How many of you have decided to write a book or have a completed manuscript hiding away, and your debating what to do next?

Apart from being a published author of paranormal fantasy and contemporary romance, I am also a book formatter! Yes, a book formatter. I create the digital files for clients, and turn their book baby’s into a reality.

There is nothing better seeing a client holding their very own book, either in print or an ebook. The smile on their face – tells it all.

I love being able to join their journey in assisting these lovely people becoming a published author.

I am still busy writing. Working on three different books. With three others wanting to be heard.

Happy New Year’s Eve!

Happy 2021 New Year!

Hello everyone,

The end of the year is only hours away. Wherever you are, whatever you decide to do. Please keep safe.

Yep. It is that time of the year already! In the end, this year has flown by, or have we only encouraged it to go faster?

The New Year is just about to begin, and hopefully new hopes and dreams are accomplished. The covid-19 positive figures deplete, and the vaccine works and saves our loved ones.

What a year we have had. A year of drama, heartache, loss, success, and a whole bunch of everything in between.

I am slowly recovering from the unexpected blood clots, which were discovered in my lung. The lumps that were noticed in my breast’s films – yep, turns out I also have lumps in my breast. After the final mammogram and ultrasound, those white splotches are fatty lumps! Thank goodness. But, it also means I will be required to have another mammogram next year, instead of the standard every two years.

My blood oxygen levels are just about normal again. With all the tests performed, they also discovered I have had…glandular fever. Then there is also bursitis in my shoulder, which was on top of the secondary pain. Initially, the doctors diagnosed me with only having secondary pain in my shoulder! Nothing like having two different issues with your shoulder.

My writing mojo left. Leaving me with two paranormal books un-completed and due for release. Well, those two books were placed on the back burner. I ended up having an idea – well, in the end, I wrote my first contemporary romance – Insta Bride.

I have been kept busy creating client’s digital files for their print books and ebooks. I am pleased with the results and so are my clients. It is a great feeling knowing your client is able to see and touch their new book baby in their hands.

Finally, after all this time, I am starting to get back into my two paranormal books again, adding more words! And editing other parts. It has been a long time, far too long, in the making.

I have begun to outline a few other books to write for next year. And yes, I have been busy writing another contemporary – The bodyguard’s convenient marriage. Make sure to keep an eye out for it. I am hoping to have it released by March!

Here in Victoria, it is great to see our friends and family once more. We managed to celebrate Christmas as a family, instead of long-distance via social media and the phone. But, and yes there is a but… my state now has positive cases once again after 50 plus days of being covid-19 free. Everyone, please be careful out there. Wear your face mask. Wash your hands, and keep your distance. If you’re feeling unwell, get yourself tested. If you think you have come in contact with someone with covid, get yourself tested.

Kindle Unlimited – readers.

For those of you who use Kindle Unlimited, my books are there for another week or so. So be quick. Time is running out. I will be removing them all and making them go wide again, placing them back in iTunes, Google, Kobo, etc.

Insta Bride – I will keep in Kindle Unlimited. Once The bodyguard’s convenient marriage is published, it, too, will be in Kindle Unlimited. As for the two paranormal’s I am nearly finished writing, they will be going wide with their other counterparts from the series.

Dark Surprises
You Never Know
It’s You
Kept in the dark of love and lust
Insta Bride
As for The Guy Next Door, it is available wide at all good online ebook stores, and FREE.

I am currently reading a few different books and ebooks. One of the paper backs I am reading is a fantastic read by the talented author – Annie West. Her fabulous Harlequin book – The Sheikh’s Marriage Proclamation. An early look at this newly printed book. And I am enjoying it, so far!

What are you reading? What do you plan on reading? What have you added to your TBR pile.

I still have several books in my TBR pile. It comes down to time. Time to read them.

With my tree and decorations now down, ready to start the new year with a clean slate, it is coming down to…what I’ll be doing tonight? Yes, I will be watching the new year appear. It is just a matter of where?

So, whatever your plans are for tonight. Be careful. Have fun. And be safe.

From my family to yours

Happy New Year, everyone.

FREE on Kindle Unlimited

Hello everyone

November is here, and we are nearly half way through the month already.

So much has happened since blood clots had been discovered in my lung. With different specialists and tests I have completed it has been a busy time. At least I can say, I am still here, and slowly improving each week, ticking off each issue I have had to deal with.

Here in Victoria, we are finally reached zero in deaths and people testing positive. Fingers crossed our numbers will remain at that level. Then the fantastic news we can finally travel around the state and see our family and friends who have been in the metro area of lockdown. Being in regional we have been lucky we were able to travel more than five kilometers. People will need to remember to continue to wear their face mask, wash their hands and keep their distance.

Now regarding my ebooks, this month they are back in Kindle Unlimited. If you are thinking of increasing your TBR pile, go over Kindle Unlimited and download one of my ebooks and enjoy the journey.

Have you had your reading fix?

Looking for Paranormal fantasy with bite…Shifters, witches and vampires all in the same place…

Or maybe a little bit of humor with a contemporary spicy read.

Everyone, please keep safe. We have a long way to go with Covid-19. Continue to wear your face mask, wash your hands and keep your distance.
