Today I share with you, my end of year book sale.

Yes, book sale.

This weekend, I will be having my box set reduced for your reading pleasure.

Feeling humble when I start to read the different reviews for my latest book.

You Never Know.

Thank you, to everyone who has purchased my third book in the series. Big hugs. And especially a big hug and thank you, to those of you, who have taken the time to leave a review where you purchased it.

You might not think, it might not mean much to authors to leave a review after completing one of their books, but it does. It allows the author to know, the reader has taken the time to look at it and download and purchase it. This will help assist other readers to make a choice, not just selecting this book but to also download it, to take the chance and read it. Leaving a review, helps to acknowledge to an author there are people out there who have purchased one of their books and to say thank you to the author for coming up with the idea and words to create a piece of literature for different people to enjoy. And the author will know, to continue to do what they love to do. Create and write.

The more reviews, the more sales, for the author to be able to survive and create the next best seller. Well, maybe buy a cup of coffee, the way ebooks are priced and create the next book in the series. Authors do not make that much money, there is always someone with their hand out, requesting for payment of some kind or another. Ebooks are handy and space saving, but for an author, they do not bring that much money in by the time they the author finally receives their royalty payments. Unless you happen to sell over five hundred books in a day or so, then you might splurge on a three course meal or finish paying for one of the many expenses we incurred – the next book cover – ISBN – editor – advertising, just to name a few.

So when you come to the end of the book, and if you enjoyed reading it, think about leaving a review where you purchased it from, even if it is as little as three words or so – ‘I like it.’ – ‘I enjoyed it.’

The author will appreciate it.

Now it must be cuppa time!

Romance, Action, mystery and family secrets!

This book is a must for vampire action romance fans. The author does a fantastic job of keeping the reader captivated with themes of family dynamics, duty, love, lust, dark secrets and fast paced adrenaline. I adore badass Alex and her gorgeous hubby. The writing definitely give me a Vampire Diaries nostalgia with paranormal vibes. If you’re looking for an epic read with powerful story telling, that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With the added bonus of steamy hot and spicy ‘sex-a’licious’ scenes then you will like this.

April is here

Hello everyone and welcome to April!

Have you all survived Easter and all that yummy chocolate?

What has been happening…

My laptop died, causing me to fall behind in my edits, revisions and printed books.

At the moment, I am taking baby steps to upload everything.

If you have an old copy of my first book – The Guy Next Door and would like an updated copy, fingers crossed Amazon will have updates available soon. Otherwise, if you would like a FREE copy of my first book, head on over to Amazon now can download a newly revised edition, today.  Yes, it is now available in all its revised glory.

Oh and my second book – Dark Surprises, will also be available for updates soon with all the additional revisions made.

March is here

With the days passing quickly, we find ourselves in March already.

I am busy with new edits and old.

With my first two books in the process of being revised and edited and a few new changes to be found.

I will announce on all my social media when the two books will be available to be updated on your kindle and eBook reader.

I also managed to grab another pair of boots recently, a lovely long pair in grey. Another pair to the collection.  A pair to keep the old legs warm or well hidden!

Now back to the edits…

January is nearly over

Wow, 2018 has started and the first month is almost completed.

With the release of ‘You Never Know’ soon to hit the digital shelves, I am excited. With positive feedback and comments, it is great to hear others are also enjoying the book to the series.

Summer here has been on and off. Hot heat waves to winter cold and wet weather, it can be a little confusing to which season we have now.

Happy New Year and Welcome 2018

Hello and welcome to 2018.

Hope everyone were able to be with their loved ones and seeing the new year in.

This year will be a busy one.

With two WIP still to complete
A new website to design
New book covers to be – designed, – completed, – resubmitted.
Two other books to go over and rewrite
Four books to be edited
Merchandise to be designed, ordered
Printed books to be designed, finalised and printed
Publish other peoples books also.

And that is just the start of this years work load.

Hope everyone is enjoying my books. Let me know what you think of the new covers.

With the new year starting, with all the do and don’ts about to start and what you should be doing… Please be mindful. We are only human. We are not superman. We still have to take each day as it comes, place one foot in our pants at a time.

Be realistic, try not to set unbelievable goals this year. Yes we all have hopes and dreams, yes write them down, but realistically take smaller steps to achieve our goals. You can try and do, anything you  put your mind to.  With smaller steps, and with each step completed, you can mark off your progress and know – You Completed It!

With one more day left remaining of 2017, a lot of changes have been made. I have released another book.  Changed and updated my book covers. Designed and made new bookmarks and flyers. Lot’s of new business card size book cards to be handed out. New merchandise, including my new coffee mugs.

It did not help, at the start of the year, when my laptop died taking all my files with it. Placing me behind with the release of my second book. Now I have a new updated laptop, including my new Christmas presents of a new keyboard and mouse, which constantly change colour.

With a couple of book signings under my belt and the ARRA in February completed, it had been a fantastic event. Meeting new friends and catching up with others authors.

With surgery and the removal of my gallbladder, recovery had taken its toll. It did not help either when I missed a step and fell down the carpet covered stairs, injuring my ankle and foot just over a month later. A bit of damage to my foot and ankle, thankfully they had not been broken, but I did injure the tendons and ligaments.

I am just about finished completing the next two book covers of books three and four with the fifth cover still in design stage – Sex, Lies And Family Secrets.

My first book in my shifter series, is almost completed and the cover has a few more details to add. It’s second book in its series is still in design and set out stage.

With two new books due for release early next year and another one later in the year, it will be an interesting year. Fingers crossed all three of my first released book will also be in print and available for sale.

It had also been a surprise to be nominated in this years AusRomToday Reader’s Choice Awards in the Best New Author category.

It had been a pleasure being amongst all the other talented authors.

 

With the month of November, busy with NaNoWrMo – I completed over the 50,000 words[image error] and made some new fantastic talented friends around the world, with a nice little certificate at the end.

Don’t forget the first book in the Sex, Lies And Family Secrets – series – The Guy Next Door, will be back to its original price very soon.
