IT IS FINALLY HERE!
The forth book in the “Talking Tales series, “Puppy’s Bubble,” is set to release on March 23, 2017 and we are celebrating with a Facebook release party on March 23/24/25. You will want to be sure to check the event page frequently during these three dates to participate in the latest games and giveaways. I am also very excited to have some fellow authors joining me for this event. They will each have a featured spotlight where you will learn more about them. Don't give cards for Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. As I was in the store thumbing through overpriced folded pieces of cardboard, I remembered some of the greatest Valentines I have ever received...books. Growing up I would sometimes receive a new book instead of a card for Valentines Day. Inside the cover would be a special message written by the person who gave it to me. I have received lots of different types of Valentines throughout my life. But the ones that I still have and treasure the most are those books that I received as a child.
This year, instead of spending money on an expensive card for that special someone, consider giving a book. Once you pick out a book, write a note in the cover. Then, every time they open the book, they will be reminded of your love.

The books that we love
As children, we all had that story that we loved. That story that we wanted to read over and over again. For me, that story was Harold and the Purple Crayon. I don't know if it was the simplistic drawings, watching the main character shape his own tale, or the imaginative storylines, but this book never grew old. I recently found Harold and the Purple Crayon while combing through my bookshelves. I worried that this may have been one of those stories that was not as good as I remembered. I worried that if I read it again, it might destroy some of my fondest memories. After a long debate, I decided to open the pages and walk down memory lane to find that I love this book just as much today as I did when I was a child. Even as an adult, this childhood favorite is still a story that I love.
