There's always something you can improve about the project you're currently working on. If you don't feel like writing at the moment, take your time to muse about the book's plot, for example. Even when you don't feel like doing anything, just sit down at the desk and try to clear your mind. Meditation may help. It's just important to deliberately spend time on your project each day, as often as possible. After some time, the ideas will start coming when you want them to :)
Also, be ready to write stuff down when creativity strikes unexpectedly. You'll have some good material to work on when writing time comes by.(less)
