That is unfortunately the response that most people seem to have in response to their own trauma…
That is unfortunately the response that most people seem to have in response to their own trauma and issues.
They want the perp to fix them, their parents, society, you. But until they realise that it all has to come from themselves, nothing will happen.
If they are lucky, friends and family will be there to help. Even so, they need to be the ones to take the help and act upon it.
It’s not fair. Its not right. But it is a must none the less.
