Truth in Bible Prophecy
The Prophet’s Secret emphasizes the prophetic content of the Bible and declares those prophecies to be true and inevitable. That is an easy claim to make in a book or a conversation, but what proof is there to support such a claim?
The photo above is the modern city of Jericho and the Bible tells us in Joshua 5 and 6 that Joshua led the Jews in conquering the city. History supports these scriptures and proves them true, however, prophetic curse Joshua proclaimed by the will of God concerning Jericho is rarely spoken. In Joshua 6:26 we are told “At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: ‘Cursed before the Lord is the man who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: ‘At the cost of his firstborn son will he lay its foundations; at the cost of this youngest will he set up it gates.’
You might think that would frighten anyone who even considered the idea but during the reign of King Ahab of Israel, Hiel undertook the fortification of Jericho by rebuilding the walls and set up the gates. His son did indeed die after this act, just one case in point.
Numerous prophets such as Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos and Daniel all predicted the return of the Jew to the Holy Land and The Prophet’s Secret is predicated upon their prophetic utterances. Caleb declares these prophecies and those statements are the foundation of his troubles with world leaders such as the president.
Ultimately, each of us must ask ourselves if the Bible is truly the word of God and is therefore true, or if it’s a book written by a bunch of old white men trying to promote a belief system they created. What do you believe?

Hacking the Presidential Election

I can only say that I am fed up with the current liberal spin concerning claims of biased agents hacking and releasing information in order to damage the HRC campaign. Did an enemy of the U.S. representative republic system of government try to sway the election to Donald Trump out of vengeful intent toward Hillary Clinton? Someone certainly did not trust Hillary enough to let her continue to lie about her opponent and perpetuate the Democrat legacy of rigging elections. Yes, Democrats have a legacy of rigging elections evidenced by Lyndon Johnson’s victory in Duval County for his first election to a national office. The long history of Duval cemeteries voting democrats into office is a proven fact.
Harry Reid from Nevada is another example. Six years ago, he was trailing his opponent by over 5,000 votes and the voting machines at an essential precinct went down. After those machines were repaired by a union technician and turned back on, Harry was suddenly leading by 5,000 votes. Very interesting! Democrat campaign offices were raided by the Nevada AG but the investigation was squashed by an unseen agency.
Throughout the campaign, Donald Trump warned of the possibility of tampering the voting by rigging the machines and vote counts. Numerous accounts of Democrats violating election laws of campaigning while registering potential voters, sometimes registering the same voter as many as 5 times, and registering the deceased. The recount instigated by Jill Stein revealed numerous vote count discrepancies. Apparently now sign of machine tampering and that’s a good thing.
President Obama decried these warnings of Donald Trump a fear mongering and issued statements that tampering was impossible. Now he and Hillary have changed their focus to the emails released by Wikileaks and have blamed a number of responsible parties. First it was Gucifer followed by accusing the FBI and then pointing the finger at Huma Abidin and her husband Anthony Weiner for not destroying his laptop. Now the Russians are being blamed as hackers, totally ignoring the incriminating information in the emails and not denying any of it or providing proof contracting those emails. POTUS and HRC are ignoring the tampering with Bernie Sanders campaign and the payed agents who falsely accused Donald Trump of odious behavior.
Add to all of this the physical attacks on Trump supporters by liberals and the false accusations against conservative campaigners and the scale of foul play begins to tilt against Democrats.
Enough already, address the information revealed in the emails and convince the general public that it was false instead of looking for a scape goat and possible creating a cold war condition with Russia before the PEOTUS is sworn in.
We need change in the United States and not just a change of presidents or majority party. We need a change of heart and conscience that leads us to behave honestly and virtuously. We need Jesus and we need him now. I pray that Donald Trump is surrounding himself with godly and righteous advisors who will pray with him and for hims as he leads our nation.

American Transfer of Power
[image error]
Some years ago, I remember a national columnist tell about arriving in Washington, D.C. immediately after the results of a presidential election was announced. The route to his hotel took him directly by the White House and he recounted what he witnessed, or more accurately, what he didn’t see.
He stated that it had been a rather contentious campaign and harsh criticism was cast both ways, however, on that evening there wasn’t a single sign of protest or violence. It struck him then that the United States was one of the few countries in the world that consistently underwent a peaceful transfer of power at least every eight years. The results of the Electoral College was accepted as final and those electors cast the their votes in accordance with their state’s vote outcome. Electors on occasion deviated but only seldom and only a few.
Today, the nation is beset with a group of citizens who profess to be progressives and they seem to believe that their collective opinion is so important, so true, so valid that any and all opposing opinions must be totally crushed and destroyed. No doubt, President Barak Obama received a great deal of criticism and a lot of stories were circulated about him. You must admit, however, that his extensive use of Executive Orders, the passage of Obamacare and the Justice Department suing religious organizations created a great deal of fear amongst conservatives. There were demonstrations against this policies but not a one protested his election and none were violent like the Black Lives Matter.
This group will adopt any story that promotes their agenda and stick to it no matter what the factual evidence shows or they move from one accusation to another.
I posted on Facebook that no matter if Hillary Clinton was elected president, I would accept God’s decision and know that it was His will for good for ill. Below is the scripture upon which I based that decision:
Titus 3:1-2
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,
to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.
Peaceful transition of power? Not this year, perhaps never again if progressives have their way.

Accepting the Winner
This is the winner of the presidential election. His name is Donald Trump. His opponent was Hillary Rodham Clinton and she lost.
I remember elections back to the Kennedy-Nixon era and not one of them was as hate filled as this past one. Statements from both candidates were twisted and posted to social media and, in all truth, the major news networks are a guilty as anyone in broadcasting their agenda and falsehoods. Sadly, this is not a new event. During the Vietnam War era the protesters got a lot of free press because that was more interesting than supporting our efforts in that far away country. Demonstrators on campus were primarily non-students, professional agitators and students looking for any excuse to skip class and have some fun. Serious students, like myself, went to class and studied to earn a degree and get a serious job after graduation. The election campaigns were raucous affairs but in the end the winner was allowed to take office without all of this hateful protest and destruction. All I can say to foreign countries watching is please don’t judge us all by the actions of this minority.
Even though many do not want to hear about God’s part in all of our elections, I am posting a copy of Hal Lindsey’s article about the part John Kennedy and a book based on an erroneous idea played in resolving the Cuban Missile Crisis.
November 11th, 2016
THIS WEEK ON “THE HAL LINDSEY REPORT”:
Our current President, Barack Obama, may be on the verge of a test like few other world leaders have ever known. In fact, it may have already begun.
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin shocked the world when he sent a naval task force toward Syria — through the English Channel! It was an obvious show of strength and belligerence against the West.
Seven Russian warships escorted Russia’s only aircraft carrier right through the famous Strait of Dover, within sight of the storied white cliffs.
By sending the carrier group to Syria, Putin is strengthening his presence in the Middle East. The Russian and American militaries are both active in Syria, but make no mistake, Russia is in charge.
The Russian task force joins warships from Russia’s Black Sea fleet that have been dispatched to the Mediterranean carrying nuclear-capable missiles.
Russia has also sent nuclear-capable Iskander-M missiles to the region bordering Poland and hundreds of paratroopers for military exercises in Egypt. They have suspended three separate nuclear agreements with the United States.
Last summer, President Putin warned journalists that “the world is being pulled in an irreversible direction.”
The Russians have also just completed a “nuclear war drill” that involved 40 million people practicing ways to survive atomic war.
Is Putin actually preparing for war with the United States? Is he sending a message to President Obama? How will the President handle increasing Russian aggression in the waning days of his administration?
That’s his big test.
But there’s an even bigger question. Why? Why is Putin testing Obama and why now?
Although President Obama is already considered a “lame duck” President — since he cannot serve another term — after Tuesday’s election, his lame duck status grows even more acute.
Is Putin testing Obama to see if he will wilt under the pressure of a nuclear ultimatum? And if Putin decides he will, then Obama and the United States may get a nuclear ultimatum, and probably before the end of the year.
It will be disguised as something else, but it will be real.
With this President, Putin may see an opportunity for a world-changing moment. He seems to be testing Obama’s resolve right now. If he fails the test, it may invite nuclear blackmail or even World War III.
In 1962, God used a profane, deceptive, and womanizing President to save civilization as we know it. His name was John F. Kennedy.
That moment of truth became known as the “Cuban Missile Crisis.”
At the time, most Americans understood that the U.S. and the Soviet Union were on the brink of nuclear war. We now know that they were closer than anyone at the time realized.
Information discovered after the collapse of the Soviet Union revealed that the commanders on the ground in Cuba already had battlefield nuclear weapons and were authorized to use them if necessary.
Some of Kennedy’s top military advisers encouraged him to make an all-out assault on the nascent Soviet military sites on the island. Had he done so, it would have triggered the use of those weapons and the nuclear dominoes would have fallen fast all over the world.
But for the hand of God in that crisis, you and I would probably not be here today.
We now know that the choices President Kennedy made in that critical time were influenced by a book called The Guns of August. It was Barbara Tuchman’s examination of the events and decisions that triggered World War I.
We also now know that Ms. Tuchman’s historical assertions were largely incorrect in that book, based on new information about Germany discovered in recent years.
However, even though her history was wrong, the lessons she taught were perfect for President Kennedy in 1962.
There was tremendous danger in showing weakness, so the President couldn’t let the Soviets establish nuclear launch platforms in Cuba. But in resisting the Soviets, he couldn’t let a mistake trigger a sequence of events that would have caused the world to descend into nuclear chaos.
So he took a middle ground and imposed a naval blockade of Cuba. Long story short, it worked.
God used an imperfect man and a history book with a flawed thesis to prevent a war that would have devastated the planet.
In the early 60s, Americans understood the nuclear threat and Christians prayed for Kennedy on a regular basis. When that book fell into his hands, it was an answer to prayer.
Even if you think a President — or other leader — is wrong on every issue, the Bible admonishes us to pray for that person. There is powerful evidence, both Biblical and historical, that God’s intention is for us to pray for our leaders so that we may lead “a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” (I Timothy 2:2)
We have now chosen our next group of national, state, and local leaders. In our time, when the alternative to peace is so unthinkable, our incentive to pray doubles.
The Bible doesn’t say you have to approve of the leaders’ policies. It says, unequivocally, to pray for them. Pray that they will see the light where they are wrong and repent. Pray they will be given wisdom and good judgment. Don’t pray for the success of wrong or sinful policies, but do pray for the men and women who lead us.
Pray that those elected will have an awareness of God; and that they will find good advisers with godly morals. Pray that God will send His Word into all their lives — now more than ever.
We have entered one of the most dangerous periods in world history. So pray!
God Bless,
Hal Lindsey
Evangelical Christians and Catholics were better organized and dedicated to voting their morals than many experts or news networks realized and now they are all beating their breasts. They are asking where the voters went wrong. If only more had turned out to vote. Some, at least are admitting their error and are studying their polling methods to better reflect public actions. Good luck with that.
These protestors are anarchists exactly the same from the mid 1800’s and they only seek to force their ideas on others and destroy as much as they can until they get their way. The sad thing is too many of their teachers are the same and present this political philosophy as a ticket to a utopian society, free from guilt and the need to work. Again, good luck with that.
Some day, secular-sinful society will win the battle but in the end Jesus will win the war.
“Even so, come Lord Jesus.”

Post Election
In a Representative Republic like the United States, Donald Trump is the winner.
Just like the news media and almost every person watching, I sit here this morning thinking about the surprising election results. Hillary’s supporters ignored a thirty year career of malfeasance on her part and voted Democrat anyway. Donald Trump supporters found the candidate that reflected their disappointment with Congress and President Obama ways flawed in his own way. Both sides tried to cast aspersions upon the other by claiming it was all lies and that hostile foreign powers were attempting to interfere with our elections. Then the FBI director, James Comey, involved himself and muddied the waters even more. I believe it’s fairly obvious that the sum total of Hillary’s negatives eventually out weighed Trump’s negatives, but the predictions were wrong because many pro-Trump supporters held their tongues in order to avoid the abuse they knew would be heaped upon them by the media and liberals in general. As the song says, ‘That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.’
I sincerely hope, given time, all of this animosity will pass but judging from recent history I don’t believe that’s a realistic hope. I have already seen postings from Hillary supporters and anti-Trump people depicting the act of shooting the finger at Trump supporters with a litany of profanity attached. Now there is video of young Hillary supporters in California and Oregon protesting while burning the flag and setting trash cans on fire as well. It makes me angry and then I remember that scripture is being fulfilled and there is only one prophetic event left before the Tribulation, the Rapture.
I am sure of this because prophetic scripture promises a one-world-government led by a single man, the Antichrist, who has yet to be recognized upon entering the political scene. However, President Obama and Hillary Clinton have promoted world unification under the UN and the president has surrendered numerous U.S. rights to that world body so things are coming in line.
Prophecy tells us that Israel will be attacked by an alliance of numerous Middle Eastern nations and Russia, remember ‘Gog and Magog’ etc, and God will completely destroy those invading armies. Well, Russia’s influence in the Middle East is expanding and Russia is cooperating with them militarily. And just why is such a tiny nation like Israel the center of world wide attention? It make you wonder doesn’t it? If not it should make you wonder.
So many world events and national alliances are fitting together like a puzzle, completing Bible prophecy that I am convinced that I will see the Rapture in my life time, like maybe today. Just in case you’ve never heard of the Rapture, it’s the event when Jesus calls all those who believe in Him up to meet him in the third Heaven and that marks the beginning of the Tribulation period. The Tribulation will last seven years, the first three and a half will be a time of turmoil while the Antichrist organizes his kingdom. As the second half begins, he will declare himself god in the third Jewish Temple on Mount Zion and then all the real scary prophetic events begin. There will be crucifixions, beheadings and even the appearance of demonic creatures from the pit that will make followers of the antichrist suffer in ways you can’t even imagine.
You may think all of this is a fairy tale but it is not. Now that the reader has been warned, each is responsible for their own fate. Will Donald Trump’s election somehow delay these events? No, God has His timetable and it will end when He has so ordained. I do believe, however, that Trump can help arrange for the U.S. to be on the side of Israel until the Rapture occurs which will lessen the judgement upon our nation.
There is a division in our nation, but it’s not just a political divide, it’s a moral divide. Secular freedom, turning away from God, is on one side and Christian faith on the other side. Christians are called upon to stand against this secular trend by sharing their faith and being obedient to God. We will lose the battle, but trust me, Jesus will win the war.

Biblical Opinions in the Real World
In the past eight years, biblical opinion has been questioned in its’ applicability in the real world. During a speech, President Obama stated that the Sermon on the Mount preached by Jesus himself, could hardly be valid in foreign relations. During a fund raiser speech he also said that those middle of the country voters that, “…cling to their guns and their Bibles” just didn’t understand and needed to be properly informed.
Hillary Clinton has said publicly that evangelical Christians must divest themselves of their religious beliefs and adopt secular worldly beliefs that matched her opinions. The Obama DOJ has even filed law suits against organizations trying to force them to pay for reproductive services that violate their deepest held biblical beliefs. Is it any wonder that churches and individual Christians feel that they are being targeted by certain political agendas?
Are these developments surprising? They shouldn’t be that surprising. Jesus warned His followers that the world would hate them because it first hated Him. We should really expect this and we should not be surprised. Just remember, Christians stand in opposition to the freedom from guilt and freedom of action that the secular world craves. Christians are looked upon as a judgmental element because we express God’s opinions stated in scripture instead of agreeing that everyone should be tolerant of its life style. What then should be our response?
As we look to God’s Word for a foundation for decisions about right and wrong, we should look to His Word for our response. We are called upon to love our fellow Christians as Jesus loves his Church and then share salvation through Jesus Christ to non-Christians. Is Christianity an exclusive faith? No, it is not. It is open to any and everyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior. God is the originator of creation and, therefore, has the right to establish the pathway to salvation. It’s His world and, no matter your personal belief, God has the last word.
If you need some intellectual proof, I refer you to the prophetic books of the Bible such as Jeremiah, Isaiah and Revelation and then see how much of this prophecy has been fulfilled and how much appears to be on the brink of completion. For a non-believer this should be terrifying. I’m referring to prophecy of the Rapture and the Tribulation because it will be a hundred times more terrible than any horror story ever written or produced as a movie. The Walking Dead won’t hold a candle to it. I firmly believe the Rapture will happen in my life time.
In closing, all I can say is if you can’t bring yourself to make a decision to accept Christ at this time, please remember these words after nearly a third of humanity and every small child disappears without a trace. Grab a Bible, study it and then accept Christ as your Savior. That will be your last chance and only hope.
To quote the apostle Paul, “Even so, come Lord Jesus.”

If Hillary is elected
One of my daily Bible devotionals is Prophecy Today by Jimmy DeYong that looks at prophetic scripture throughout the Bible. In these daily studies he encourages the reader to consider how the prophecies correlate to current events and how those events are fulfilling God’s promises. There is no specific timeline for the latter days prophecies but many of them certainly address our newspaper headlines.
For example, Psalm 2:2 reflects current attitudes of many of our elected leaders and it is difficult to differentiate between liberal and conservative office holders. “The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.” The referenced kings are, of course, political leaders and we see more and more make public statements contrary to God’s law given to us in the Bible. Public opinion is not necessarily moral even it may be made legal by man’s law. Governments are even saying that the land of Israel belongs to the Palestinians, not the Jews.
Homosexuality is seemingly sanctified via legalization of same sex marriage and abortion is declared non-murder by the highest court in our land and is funded by our federal government. Our president can say it’s settled law but God has stated that He has a different opinion as we find in Psalm 2:4-6, “The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. Then He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in His wrath saying, ‘I have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill.'”
In other words, God will judge us (and yes, I’ll also be judged but I’m forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ) and His word will be final. God scoffs at our measly opinions because He knows the truth about His creation and about the future.
If Hillary is elected she can do her worst and it will not affect God’s timeline one iota. When He is ready He will install Jesus Christ as the king on Mount Zion, that is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and every power on earth will bow before Him. No matter who is elected, God will be in control as always and those who believe in Jesus Christ will be saved. In the interim, take heart Christian, Jesus is still sitting on the right hand of the Lord and everything will work out just as he planned it long before creation.
“Even so, come Lord Jesus.”
