Heartbreaking...
By now i'm sure everyone has heard about the school shooting in Newton, Connecticut. My heart goes out to all the families and staff.
This senseless violence has to stop...:(

The next big thing...Blog Hop.
It's time for the next big thing...at least according to the author that tagged me, Kari Gregg. http://www.karigregg.com/ ...:)
I love talking about upcoming releases, but I think for this next big thing, I'm going to talk about a work in progress.
1. What is the working title of your book?
Her Pirate Master -- This is not a historical. This is a space opera/futuristic/BDSM. It's the first book in the next generation of the Entwined Fates series.
2. Where did the idea come from for the book?
The idea came from 'Jack'...or better known as Jacquelyn Marcone, the daughter of Count Stephan Marcone and his wife, Krista (two characters from Entwined Fates/Star Crossed.) She was determined to have her story told and just kept pushing her thoughts into my head at some of the most annoying times.
3. What is the genre of the book?
The genre is futuristic/BDSM. And this one will be much more heavy on the BDSM than I've ever done in the past.
4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie
rendition?
My pirate...Haydrian Victis would be played by the same guy that plays hook in Once Upon a Time...:)
This would be 'Jack'...:)
Very feminine, but also very tough.
5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Taken as a submissive slave to lure an enemy, 'Jack' must keep hidden the fact she is the enemy her captor is looking for.
6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency/publisher?
I'm not sure on that one yet.
7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I'm still working on it...:) But my average is usually 2 to 3 months.
8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Mercenary...Destined for Two...Crossing the Line.
9. Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I've been wanting to continue with the Entwined Fates series and I've gotten several emails from readers wanting to know if I would continue the story line with the children. 'Jack' is the first of the Marcone children to get her story told. And it's going to be a doosy...:)
10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
The level of BDSM and dubious consent in this one will be more intense. Despite her situation, there's an underlying sense of tenstion between the two of them, that Haydrian at first tries to ignore. His intent was never to actually take her, but just make the man he was looking for think he did. But the pretty blonde who constantly fights him at every turn becomes too much of a temptation to ignore. 'Jack' will make a few discoveries of her own, such as her desire to sexually submit, her shocking reaction to flogging, and the fact that her Pirate captor isn't at all who she initially thought.
Desperate circumstances can make people do things they normally wouldn't and for this Pirate/King that rings all too true when he finds he must become a thief in order to save his people. He's survived many battles, but the one thing he may not survive is the hurt he'll feel when he finds out the delectable blonde submissive he's falling in love with is the infamous Captain 'Jack' Marcone he's been determined to get revenge against.

Destined for Two...review

Review by: Dee on May 27, 2008
Tags: Erotic Romance Author Profile: Trista Ann Michaels

With only three months left to find the twins wife, Shorlack comes across her working in a bar where anything goes but hitting women. At least this woman looks like she could be the long lost Argonian princess - she looks like her mother and possesses a necklace piece that matches the twins. Rhianna since age four has been raised by Devlin who she considers her brother, but in actuality they were the only survivors when their transport ship crashed and since has taken the responsibility for raising her.
When told of the princess' whereabouts Keenas and Jorel arrive to check her out. The likelihood of Rhianna being the princess is high and the boys abscond with her.
The relationship Rhianna, Keenas and Jorel are to have is a total, equal part, threesome, which is the norm for some of the royal families. Keenas and Jorel are two sides of the same coin but their personalities are very different. Author, Trista Ann Michaels, pens these two exquisitely as two kinds of lovers. We as the reader reap the BENEFIT from two very different males excelling in their own sexual prowess.
The story line moves along quickly with certainly no time to get bored. The characters are well developed knowing what is expected of them and boy do they perform! There's even a bad guy Rhianna needs to watch out for, but it all comes down to convincing Rhianna to stay as a wife to Jorel and Keenas.
Entwined Fates: Destined for Two is definitely a top pick for the summer.

My life through the lens...Rodeo Dr.
Yep, only on Rodeo Dr. would you see a car like this...
Sharon and Mary Wine discussing an unusual outfit displayed in the shop window.
Where we had lunch.
The food was very good.
sigh...if only I were rich...lol
I now know why people in LA are so slim. There's no parking! You have to walk because you have to park a freakin' mile away...I'm so glad to be home where restaraunts and stores have parking lots...:)

Mercenary...review...
Ms. Michaels has continued her compelling and very erotic series with this story. I enjoy how characters from the earlier books add to the story line and allow the readers revisit their lives. The introduction of different worlds and new species keep the plot line fresh and vibrant. Lucien is a very strong individual who appears on the surface as a typical mercenary, but may have hidden depths. Kiley has always gotten when she wanted except for the most important things of all, the love of her life. Together Lucien and Kiley, with the help of Syeer, generate enough sexual tension to start a fire. The addition of a dangerous foe gives the story enough suspense to keep the reader at the edge of their seat. Thanks go to Ms. Michaels for another spellbinding edition to her Entwined Fates Series.
