Unlearned genius and genetic memory
I became fascinated with memory when studying and I read The Art of Memory and working with Emma on the ideas of feats of memory we started thinking about genetic memory.
This article in Scientific American really captures the excitement we had at thinking of exploring other memories, particularly skills involving music and dance.

We combined this with the condition of Hyperthymesia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperth... to create a world in which some people can walk into the past through their memories.
One of our goals was to explore what could be learned about ourselves from seeing the limits of our memories being rolled back, something that technological assistance is bringing us closer to every day.
