Holiday procras...er, writing.

I just started 13 glorious days of holidays and next week, we'll head down for a week in Byron Bay. We were last there in Christmas '14 and I managed to complete my first draft of 'Ask, Tell' - a glorious 20k-ish hot mess that I was extremely proud of. I sent it to a friend who delicately told me that it was great but...needed more. Two years later and it's out in the world (with an extra 62k or so words).

This time, I hope to complete my first draft of 'Lena' - a historical romance between two Polish women through the 1930s and 1940s. This WIP currently sits at 93k and will likely end up around 100k by the time I'm done waffling.

Of course, finishing the draft hinges on one very important thing - that I can stay away from the beach, pool, bars, hiking trails, golf course, trail riding and games with friends long enough to put my butt in the chair and write...
