I'm off for a vacation on the Fernandina Beach. It's been two years since I've been to Florida and have never been on a vacation with my new family. By the way, for those of you who don't know, about a year and a half ago my family grew by leaps and bounds. No kidding! For a while it was just me and my two boys. Now I have a new honey, his daughter, and his two boys. Yep, we're nearly the Brady Bunch. Of course, if you factor in our four cats, the Brady Bunch has nothing on us except Alice the maid. LOL

So, tonight we're packing up the rental car and headed to my mother's, who fantastically lives less than a mile from the beach. Go Mom! My brother and his fiance will be there, too. I haven't seen him in 5 years. He's 10 years younger than me, but I call him my big little brother because he's at least a head taller and could make 2 of me.
