Sooooooo Close!

Wow, its been years since I've been on Goodreads, mostly because this place is toxic as fuck, but I thought I'd drop by anyway to let it be known that Stand is now in the hands of beta readers. Yes, the first draft has already gone through my editor twice and now its ready for beta reading. I'm not giving out a release date yet, but Stand is going to be here very soon. Also, its almost twice as big as Strike was. Strike was like 160k words. Stand is over 255k words. Its a huge ass book, so you'll have plenty to keep you busy for a few days. The wait is almost over!

Hi, everyone! I just wanted to leave a little update with what’s new and what I’ve been working on. Some of you may already be aware that while I was working on Stand, I found it difficult to find inspiration, so I turned back to my original book and reread Stolen, hoping to rekindle that spark. But while I was reading, I couldn’t help but notice how my writing had changed over time, and I found myself wanting to make corrections and revisions that I thought would actually improve the original story. And then suddenly I was inspired to write new scenes and add more dialogue that I felt would enhance the depth of my characters. And I think it came out beautifully.

So essentially, I have re-written Stolen, added five new chapters, about 50 pages, and several new scenes that will hopefully leave you just as captivated as the first version did.
With the Beta readers finishing up their review, I thought now would be a good time to let everyone know that the new version of Stolen should be available in the next two weeks. Depending on where you purchased/downloaded the ebook, you should receive a notification that a new version is available for upload at no charge to you. The update will be completely free. However, if you purchased a paperback, unfortunately, that can not be replaced. However, the old paperback version will become memorabilia of my original debut novel, so it will still hold value as you will not be able to purchase this version anywhere else ever again. So, if you would like to purchase that original paperback before I replace it, now is the time.

Thank you to everyone for your patience while I take this inspiration and apply it to the final conclusion of the Stronger Series. I have been struggling with Stand for the majority of the year, but I will be doubling my efforts to bring you the masterpiece you all deserve. I can only hope that I deliver. With that being said, I hope you all will enjoy the new version of Stolen when it becomes available! I will announce it’s release as soon as I finish with the final edits from my amazing Betas.

Strike Update

Hey, everyone,

Sorry its been so long since I've posted an update, but this summer has been really busy. I just finished another semester of school, AND I also finally finished the first draft of Strike! As of right now its over 600 pages long and 178k words, which is almost 20k more words than Spark. Unfortunately my editor isn't available to start editing until the end of August so I've got my beta readers reading it now to speed up the process. I don't have a release date yet, but I think it's safe to say Strike should come out by the end of September! Once I get it back from my editor I will be able to determine an actual release date. I'm so close to getting this done and I can't wait for you guys to read it! Your patience is finally paying off :)

Strike Update

So I realized it's been a while since I've posted an update on here about Strike, so here it is. So ... there's good news and bad news! The good news is I'm finally over 92k words, the bad news is I'm back in law school again. But, unlike my last winter semester, I'm going to keep writing and push through. I've finalized my timeline for Strike so I know how I'm going to end it, and it's going to be BIG. I know I said I would try to get Strike to you guys by the end of the Summer, but we're there and I'm just not ready. Between school, working full time, getting married, and how much effort I put into my writing, it's really tough getting things done. I'm sorry I couldn't live up to my deadline (I almost never do), but just know that I work on this book almost every single day. Even if its just a paragraph when I have a minute, I am writing as often as I can. I just need you guys to be patient just a little longer. I'm getting close. Very close. And I promise it will be worth it. You guys will have plenty of material to hold you over for at least a day when Strike eventually comes out lol. My new goal is to get Strike out before the end of the year, so we'll see what happens. I appreciate your continued love and support through this so much! Stay Strong, everyone! <3

Update

So, it's been a while since I last blogged anything on here, but for those wondering what's going on, here's what's up!

Law school has been crushing me on time lately. I'm trying hard to balance my full time job with school and writing, but it's getting hard to compete. I'm also getting married this summer! So I've got wedding planning keeping my away from my computer as well.

But with that being said, here's the plan for Strike and the final book, Stand. I'm working on both books back to back. Basically I'm writing the entire rest of the series, splitting it in half, and then publishing them a month apart. I'm hoping to have this done by the end of the summer, but I can never guarantee my release expectations. Life always has a way of throwing me off my timeline and delaying me.

I want these last books to be the best they can possibly be and rushing them will only be doing you guys a disservice. So stay patient because I swear it will be worth it. These books will be loooooonnnnggg and hopefully live up to your expectations.

For Those Having Trouble Downloading from Smashwords

Hey, everyone!

It's come to my attention that a lot of people have been having trouble downloading Spark from Smashwords to their Amazon Kindles. Kindle requires a mobi file in order to download onto their devices, and unfortunately Spark is an epub file. So that's where the issue is coming from, BUT I have a solution. You can download converter software that allows you to convert the epub files into whatever file you want for whatever device you want. Below is the link for converter software. There are other ones you can use, but this one was recommended to me by Smashwords. It's free and easy to use.
