UnRee told Reginald about Stewart. Stewart was ex-military and a honored veteran of the US Army. He suffered with PTSD. He was the protector of the woman’s group Samantha was a part of, but he had his quirks.
There were times Stewart would avoid closed in places, or crowded events, or large objects he was unfamiliar with. Certain things affected the way he felt or thought and he would freak out about it.
Nights were really hard for him and he would have dreams of being in the war. He would wake up screaming, drenching with sweat, and his heart would be racing.
Sometimes Steward was approachable and other times he wasn’t. It depended upon his mood. He felt guilty that he’d survived the war and some of his soldier buddies didn’t He always thought he could have done more, but he could never remember, the details, of what he’d done or didn’t do.
He would often argue with himself in angry tones, or he’d go days without sleep. Stewart was easily startled. He was also constantly nervous and jumpy.
Stewart said one day he wanted to go back home and be a decent husband and father again. In the meantime, he lived on the streets, went to his VA treatments, and occasionally to a PTSD support group.
Stewart had honorably served the country, but the emotional wounds from the war had deeply affected his ability to have a normal life.
Stewart is the one who formed the women’s group. It started out with four women, but now it had increased to 100 or 150 women.
All these women lived on the streets and Stewart, originally, found a high-rise parking lot with several levels. He was given access to the top level which enabled them to set up a makeshift camp.
It was a covered parking lot, surrounded by a thick cement wall and even had portable toilets.
Stewart always said the parking lot was owned by a close friend of his who owed his a favor. Stewart couldn’t save them all and homelessness was spiking. Decent people, who lost their jobs, was seeking a safe place to sleep, at least, for a little while.
They called the parking lot “Stew’s Place.” The encampment wasn’t a home, or a shelter, or bedroom, or a friend’s couch, or anything fancy, but it was the RITZ of sleeping places on the streets, especially “rough” sleeping or sleeping out in the open.
Not only did Stewart not get any sleep, but he looked out for the women’s group and other “rough” sleepers.
Eventually other high-rise garages got involved and offered their top levels to Stewart too. However, each one could only serve a small group and had to consider the occupancy load codes. Stew’s Places were a well-kept secret. It was by permission and invitation only.
Other ex-military veterans helped run Stew’s Places. He only offer tent-encampments for a select few. Unfortunately, Stewart couldn’t help everybody, but he did what he could.
Every night 40 or 50 women, some with families, had a safe place to sleep. Eventually, Stewart had five parking lots to utilize. In a way, Stewart was still protecting America by soldering some of the homeless community.
Some people just needed help until they could get back on their feet. While helping others, Stew was trying to help himself. He was lost and he hoped, if it wasn’t too late, to get back home to his family one day.
The high-rise garages were not traditional shelters and they were meant to help, mainly, rough sleepers.
The homeless who came to Stew’s Places found a temporary sanctuary to get themselves together.
Stew had multiple resources and his resources actually helped people transition off the streets.
Many churches and organization had approached Stew and asked him to turn his places into a more structure program, but he refused.
He told them the “rough” sleepers that stayed in his places preferred “open” spaces and didn’t want the rules or regulations that structured programs offered, especially shelters.
He said most of the “rough” sleepers in his places preferred finding their own way back and choosing their own resources.
Stew had a network of help. Those who’d come through Stew’s Place expanded his resources by reaching back and offering suggestions that made it better for their homeless comrades.
Help for the homeless was always welcomed, but there was nothing like a person helping you who had walked a mile in your shoes.
Stewart was that kind of help. He understood was it was like to be lost in an emotional spiral and wake up in a world of homelessness and PTSD. He wanted to come back to normal, but he didn’t know when or “if” he would ever get there.
Being lost, like he was, was a BIG risk, because he could lose everything. How long would his wife wait for him? How long would his children wait? How long would the rest of his family wait. For all he knew it was already too late.
They must still care, because every now and then he would get a care package, family pictures, clothing, supplies, love notes, money, and food. Was it his parents or did his wife and kids still care too? He didn’t know. It made him sad that he was so twisted.
Stewart was a complicated person with a complicated problem. Though he loved his family, he thought it was easier to leave them than negatively impact their lives with his issues. The day he saw the fear in their eyes is the day he made the hardest decision of his life.
He couldn’t help his own, so he helped homeless families. All he’d done was create a safe place to sleep “rough” until they could get on their feet.
Some people stayed at Stew’s place for a few weeks, or months, and some had been there for years. Some were computer programmers, landscapers, farmers, ex-military, and dish washers. They were educated, trained, and skilled, but homeless nonetheless.
Many homeless people were decent, loving, kind-hearted, and caring, but had fallen upon hard times. Homelessness and living on the streets caught many people completely off guard. They were afraid and initially didn’t have a clue how to survive their new reality.
Most people stayed with friends, first, but left out of concern they would wear out their welcome. When you are on the streets with NOTHING, Stew’s Place is both a blessing and a miracle.
Stewart got sad and often cried over the people he couldn’t help. He knew first hand, what it was like to be marginalized and on the outside of normal life
Stewart’s PTSD affected his family and he made their life miserable with his jumpiness, moods, and depression. It caused abnormal marital problems, because his symptoms made him act like a crazy person.
His craziness upset his wife and his saw how hard it was for her to try to continue to love him. Leaving was his gift to them.
His wife went to classes to learn about PTSD and she really made an effort to understand how it influenced his behavior. When he left, he apologized, but told her he would love her and the kids for the rest of his life.
He’d said “...I love you, Marie, but I can’t do this to you and the kids. Forgive me...” He left and hadn’t been home since. They had his military check, they had every military benefits, and they had his biological family’s support.
The Iraqi War had affected Stewart’s life, but he would do it again to protect his family and country. No soldier went to war thinking, if they were blessed enough to return, that it would have such a serious emotional effect upon their lives.
Stewart had nightmares about the war that drove his emotions off the chain. He was often concerned he would hurt himself or his family.
Most people had no clue what a soldier sees during the actual PROCESS of war. Steward saw death and destruction, first hand. He walked over and through dead bodies and he'd never felt peace again. Nobody is happy at war. There are no bar-be-ques or birthday parties and the lives of the citizens of that nation of forever impacted.
Stewart saw the damage war had on those countries and it gravely saddened him and his fellow soldiers too! A soldier vows to protect his country and homeland, but being on the forefront of war did terrible things to the human psyche.
Stewart remembered, in order to save a fellow soldier’s life, he had to kill one of their opponent’s. In that moment, he was forced and bound by duty, to end another person’s life.
Killing is a part of war and you are warring against an enemy or opponent. However, that doesn’t make it any easier to take a human life. Stewart did his duty, but he was, immediately, ridden with deep sorrow and regret.
He didn’t know if his fellow Americans, who never went to war or will ever go, knew what it was like to come face to face with an enemy nation.
Soldiers are meant to destroy hostile forces, but nonetheless those enemy nations or opposing forces consisted of human beings.
Soldiers, not only kill the enemy, but they also become an eyewitness of their deaths. When you’re in the midst of war, killing could be an everyday occurrence in order to survive and protect your fellow Americans.
Whether a soldier is in the line or duty, to their country, or not; they are still burdened with the deaths of both their enemies and their fellow comrades. It is "this" part of WAR that effects the emotions and psyche of the soldier the most.
When the war settles and the soldier returns home, like it or not, the deaths they witnessed will disturb the mind of the solder and rob them of peace.
When a soldier is in the war zone, they are surrounded with grief and sorrow. In order to survive, Stewart tried to think of something happy or a good memory, but it was hard to do.
He remembered being right in the midst of war. He was guarding the border, and he felt such sickening fear. Yet, he didn’t have the luxury to indulge that fear, because he had a duty towards the nation which had a priority over his emotions.
Sometimes Stewart was on border duty day and night and he had to be on the alert. In those moments, away from family, in another country, and without a guarantee you will ever make it home again...he felt totally deprived of peace. You never knew when the enemy was coming or where they would be coming from. This deprivation of peace, for Stewart, was there the whole time he was in the war zone.
The deprivation of peace, the death of soldiers, the suffering of citizens, and those face to face moments of war is what haunts him over and over and over again.
This was Stewart’s daily struggle and it caused him constant emotional stress. What it he never got better? What if he never learned the right coping skills to move forward? What if his wife and kids had moved on without him?
Steward never thought his war experiences would cause him such mental strain and stress, but it had and did.
The war experience was more traumatic that he’s ever imagined it would be and now he was an ex-military veteran separated from his family and living on the streets.
Stewart remembered a hymn he’d heard at the base chapel and it always gave him comfort:  “...What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my pardon this I see--
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

UnRee told Reginald about Benjamin. Benjamin was an advocate, on the streets, for immigrants. Benjamin hated the lies that other Americans held about immigrants such as they are bringing in “drugs” or they are bringing “crime” into the country.
The biggest criminals, in Benjamin’s opinion, were not immigrants, but GREEDY Americans, who had NO problem exploiting the disenfranchised or marginalized.
It was amazing how blind and gullible people were about keeping immigrants out of America, yet keep the “real” criminals in elected offices.
Because of ignorance, thousands of immigrants are being negatively and unjustly affected. Some Americans have NO CLUE how wrong or misguided their conclusions and rationale is over immigrants.
Most people believe it is the “immigrant” that has put a burden on the country. Most people think the “immigrant” is taking their jobs, housing, and healthcare. Most people don’t understand or bother to understand why “immigrants” migrate to America in the first place.
Benjamin had, originally, come to America for business purposes only on a temporary visa, along with his wife and family but something happened that made him decide to stay.
His wife and family found a good neighborhood, school, and church and wanted to stay and become a part of the community.
Benjamin had NO INTENTIONS on staying in America, but his wife and family compelled him to stay. His family did seem to be thriving well in the new community they’d found.
Benjamin would be a third generation immigrant to come to America to work, but he had no clue where the rest of his family lived. Eventually he became an American citizen, but the immigration changes made it hard for his wife to become a citizen too.
Benjamin spent thousands and thousands of dollars on immigration lawyers, the application process for his wife, and immigration appointments so she could stay in the US legally with passports and visas.
Benjamin couldn’t petition for his wife to stay in the US until he, first, became a citizen himself. His wife and kids had to leave the country. Eventually, he submitted the paperwork for “family reunification” in order to begin the process for legal residency for his family.
His wife could have resided in the US under a work visa, but it required a yearly renewal until she could get a green card, but it was a long process.
Fortunately, they had a set of twins boys in 2013 and they were born on America soil. Under the new executive order, DAPA, Benjamin and his wife were protected from deportation.
However, the new executive order didn’t last and Benjamin’s family was at risk for deportation. It wasn’t long before Benjamin became separated from his family. It devastated Benjamin and the anti-immigrant sentiments made the separation between him and his family worst. No one will know the pain of leaving your wife and kids, in a place, that ran like a prison.
Benjamin couldn’t tell his story without breaking into tears. Anti-immigration sentiments caused rampant stereotypes without seeing they were “real” people with “real” lives. Many decent immigrants were living nightmares, experiencing heartbreak, and being hated unjustly.
Many of them worked really hard to contribute to the American economy and they felt disparaged in the worst way when their families started becoming separated.
Benjamin and his wife just wanted a better life for their family. He never thought they would be pawns in the battle against immigration. The immigration rhetoric had affected a fair and just legal process. In addition, it had busted up and destroyed his family. Did anybody even care?
The residency process failed Benjamin, because the immigration laws became extremely stringent and twisted, making it almost impossible to do the right thing. Now his wife and family were left without him, because they were being FORCED out of the country.
What had happened to America that they would separate his young wife and a new father from his family.
Benjamin worried about the dire circumstances that faced his family without him, such as poverty and violence. They decided to stay in America because they thought the opportunities were better.
Benjamin lost hope, lost his job, and now he was struggling on the streets. He had tried to do everything through the legal process and it failed him. Many other immigrants had crossed the border illegally. They were also looking for a better life and a better opportunity.
Some of them had literally crawled on their hands and knees for hours and hours to get to America. Some were sent back to their countries only to discover their relatives were killed, kidnapped, or a drug cartel controlled their neighborhoods.
Benjamin had so many reasons to fear he would never see his family again. They went to a detention center, but he didn’t know which one or where they even were now or if they were able to stay together.
He tried the legal process so many times, unsuccessfully, until all his money was gone. He’d given all he had to immigration lawyers.
Benjamin’s business went down. He didn’t even have enough money to go back to his country. Benjamin didn’t come to America to break their laws, but he wanted to survive and give his family a better life.
On this side of immigration, Benjamin learned something about America, especially about the Christian community. He thought, for sure, he would find solace among them.
The new immigration policies, he thought, went against Christian beliefs regarding God’s love, Jesus dying for ALL nations, and that brother and sisters in Christ were a diverse community which included immigrants - didn't elicit compassion. Benjamin was looking for an authentic church family.
Benjamin KNEW there had to be some Christian churches somewhere that extended compassion to immigrants, but he had not found one yet. He was desperate and was looking for other Christians, like himself, who supported policies and fair treatment to the immigrant.

Benjamin believed that one day, he would find the right church family and they would help him. They would show him hospitality as the bible says:
“...Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!...”(Hebrews 13:2 NLT). The immigration policies didn’t reflect God’s promises.
Benjamin had been separated from his family for months, but he knew so many immigrants that were facing deportation and separation too. It was sad and heartbreaking. He knew if they were sent back they would face worst troubles.
So many undocumented immigrants who had migrated to America as minors were homeless and living on the streets. Many of them were scared and had no idea what they would face if they were FORCED to go to a country they had NO knowledge of. Everywhere they went they  felt threatened, feared being separated from America, and torn from the only life they’ve ever known.
Benjamin spent a lot of his time keeping homeless immigrants out of the immigration detention centers. And he discouraged them from working at facilities ran by corporations that only paid 50 cents an hour.
Some didn’t listen or complained that they would be giving up their $20.00 a week paycheck. The immigration legal system put many of them in “this” situation and then exploited them by taking advantage of their plight.
Benjamin had once worked for 50 cents an hour until he heard the corporation he was working for had netted millions and millions of dollars.
Out of desperation, thousands of immigrants worked or were forced to work at facilities that abused and exploited their vulnerable situations.
It was a form of human trafficking, both direct and inadvertent that forced immigrants to work for sub-minimum slave wages. If they didn’t do it or complained they were threatened with immediate deportation and/or detention.
The anti-immigrant sentiments included creating a fear, among other Americans, that they were taking jobs from U.S. citizens. Yet, the very people creating the fear were giving jobs to immigrants, off the record, so they wouldn’t have to PAY Americans a fair and just salary.
Many major corporations relied and depended upon immigrants to keep working for them in order to keep their business running and profitable.
They abused and exploited immigrant workers and then BLAMED them for taking American jobs when the truth was they didn’t want to hire REGULAR waged American employees.
Benjamin would discourage everyone, immigrant or non-immigrant, from working for these corporations. He told UnRee not to work for them either. They used immigrants or other disadvantaged people to make a PROFIT, which was simple another form of slavery.
Because of their legal, marginal, or disenfranchised positions they were directly or inadvertently forced to perform slave labor. No matter what their status was in America, immigrants still had human rights.
Often, working for these corporations, the conditions were deplorable. They got no breaks, not even for lunch, and were taken full advantage of by the corporation. They KNEW they wouldn’t complain, talk to anyone, or make any demands.
It was total abuse and exploitation of immigrant laborers for their OWN profit. It was a form of 21st century slavery and sometimes they didn’t even get paid on time! The corporation’s pockets get padded, while the immigrants take the blame.
Benjamin wrote letters to Republican lawmakers in an attempt to make  them aware of the situation, but the corporations had more than enough money to defend themselves against any and all allegations.
Some corporations turned it around by saying they were helping the country’s immigration problem by keeping them busy, cutting down crime, reducing immigration drug problems, and by preventing “them” from draining the government assistance programs.
It upset Benjamin, who was separated from his family and suffered from the emotional trauma and stress of that every day of his life!
While these corporations blinded the America people and created divisions between them and immigrants, they were also making political contributions, in the millions, to MOSTLY Republicans who gladly turned a blind eye to the abuse and exploitation of people whose “real” lives were being negatively impacted.
Yes, Benjamin was an immigrant. He became an American citizen though and tried to help his family too, but he ran out of money and time. Now he was separated from them, but he refused to be forced, directly or inadvertently, to work for slave wages.
Immigrants are in American working and laboring for SLAVE wages. They are NOT taking these jobs, but are directly or inadvertently GIVEN these jobs in order to survive. Corporations are GIVING these jobs to them in order to make a PROFIT. If they gave them to AMERICANS they would have to paid them, at least, the legal minimum wage.
Benjamin tried to get immigrants to stop working for these corporations, but too many needed the slave wages to survive.
Yet, immigrants got the BLAME and the corporations who exploited them took NO accountability.
One thing Benjamin knew, for sure, was that these corporation SUPPORTED these inhumane jobs and was unashamed of the illegal way in which they got their laborers OR they wouldn’t choose to do it.
For Benjamin, the treatment of immigrants revealed the character of those who had been elected to lead the country. The norms of behavior no longer reflected those of democracy, integrity, or civil rights for all citizens.
Hatred, cruelty, and dishonesty was becoming commonplace and what was once GREAT about American was taking a back seat. The Statue of Liberty was a symbol of hope for his people “...give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses longing to be free...” Growing up, Benjamin was told that ALL Americans were once immigrants who came to American looking for the freedom and hope it offered.
Many immigrants lived in desperate condition and come to America to improve their conditions. Benjamin did and he respected the laws of the land and got his citizenship. There needed to be a way to balance the scales of immigration. He understood that. That's what the legal immigration process was meant to do....fairly!
Benjamin respected the immigration process “when” it worked fairly and justly. Like it or not America was founded upon immigrant forefathers and new immigrant citizens, like himself, and hopefully one day his sons, they will contribute greatly to the country too.
But the disinformation about immigrants is concerning and is solely based on rhetoric, without facts, to create public fear, division, and to keep racism, toward the immigrant, animated.
For the time being, Benjamin felt he was an immigrant stereotype  or statistic, whose profile was anything, but fact-based. Most people saw immigrants as lazy or threatening people and were instantly bias against them.
He was bullied and hassled because he was different and had a foreign language. Even among the homeless people could be prejudice. He was still surprised at how justified some people felt about picking on immigrants.
He knew two things, like it or not everybody, in America, had immigrant ancestors, and picking on immigrants didn’t make them look bad, but it makes YOU look bad.
Benjamin believed, with all his heart, that the people you disenfranchise today, may be your benefactor tomorrow. If you showed no mercy; when your turns comes; you should expect no mercy either. "… In everything, therefore, TREAT people the same way you want them to TREAT you …” (Matthew 7:12 NASB).
“…Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap….” (Galatians 6:7 KJV). “….For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption…” (Galatians 6:8 KJV).
Just because you think and feel you are safe and secure where you are right now, doesn’t mean it can’t change overnight. One day the American playing field “will” be completely different.
“… Let NOT thine heart ENVY sinners” (Proverbs 23:17 KJV).
“… Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against workers of iniquity....” (Psalm 37:1-2,16 KJV).
... For evildoers shall be CUT OFF ; …" (Psalm 37:1-11 KJV).
the wicked shall perish….” (Psalm 37:14, 15, & 21 KJV). “... they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb . …" (Psalm 37:1-11 KJV).
...FRET NOT thyself because of him [or her]…who prospereth in his[or her]… way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.…" (Psalm 37:1-11 KJV).

UNREE DEEMD: SAMMY; HOMELESS AND LIVING ON THE STREET!

Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
 “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “ All POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV).*UnRee told Reginald about Samantha or Sammy as her homeless family called her. Sammy wasn’t a drug addict, or a criminal,  nor was she mentally ill, or a prostitute. What people didn’t know was that people, like Sammy, was on the streets because of educational reasons, or unemployment issues, or lack of housing, or inadequate government programs, or no transferable job skills.
Sammy was a hard worker, but she lacked the education and job training. The only jobs she could find were the kinds of jobs many illegal immigrants had for private corporations. Sammy couldn’t make a living off the peanuts (50 cent an hour) she was paid for those kinds of jobs.
All these years GREEDY leaders told the citizens of the United State that immigrants were taking their jobs. It is ALL a lie. The GREEDY leaders were guilty of abusing and exploiting immigrants, for profit, so they wouldn’t have to pay them or anybody else FAIR wages.
The corporation she was working for had netted 156 million dollars the year before. Sammy NEVER worked for them again, no matter how hungry she was.
Living on the streets was a hard reality for Sammy. People ignored her most of the time and many others wouldn’t even talk to her, especially if she was sitting on the ground, standing at a corner, or a resting on a park bench.
Then there were those who did talk to her or pay attention. They would often offer unsolicited advice that did nothing to help her or those who would give her useless lectures.
When she tried to explain her situation - and that she was a decent person, who wanted to be a productive citizen of the United States - they didn’t want to hear it.
Not only was Sammy experiencing homelessness, but she also felt like she was stereotyped and merely another statistic for the streets homeless population.
Sammy often cried when she talked about how she ended up homeless. She said it was  very, very painful process.
She lost her job, when the company she’s worked for was sold and moved to another state. After that she lost her apartment. She went to the government for help and they gave her list of charities to contact. Sammy called every single one of them, in an attempt, NOT to lose her apartment, but GOT no help.
The process to homelessness is mind boggling, but one thing leads to another and before you know it you are sitting on a park bench without a stable job or a place to call home.
She had no transferable skills, gaps in her resume, and  college credits, but no degree. Her bank account slowly emptied and without a steady income her landlord finally gave her a final eviction notice.
Sammy said the most frequent question is “...are you hungry or do you have enough to eat...” Even though she needs food she prefers healthy food. She doesn’t want to be sick and on the streets too.
Sammy had many connections with people who worked in the food industries and they bought her leftovers. Sometimes she would work with immigrants on a farm and the co-op would give them vegetables and fruit.
If Sammy worked as a volunteer, soup kitchens would give her food and something to drink. During the holidays people were much more generous and she would receive homemade treats and special gifts.
Sometimes she  would get food stamps, but without a place to cook, especially in the cold months, she couldn’t make herself a hot meal. Sammy’s best meals came from the soup kitchens she’d volunteer with. They were not always nutritious or healthy, but at least she could enjoy a piece of bread, or some hot cereal, or pasta sometimes.
The problem with working at soup kitchens is transportation. They were located in different sections all over town. If she didn’t go as a volunteer she would have to stand in a ridiculously long line and may have to stand up to eat, because there was no seats left.
Sammy was health nut and poor table manners, bad hygiene habits, and blowing your nose, at the tables, were common occurrences.
Unfortunately, most shelters or soup kitchens were unsanitary or unhealthy. Some people had bad attitudes too and were looking for a fight, which meant these places could be dangerous and risky too.
The most frequent problem, when standing in line for food, were that many soup kitchens didn’t always have enough to feed everybody. When they were out of food, that was it!
Sammy was generous with others. When she got food for herself she thought about those who were sick, elderly, and couldn’t get around like she did. If possible, she would get food for them too!
Many times Sammy would get reprimanded for taking extra food and stuff. Some shelters claimed the city paid for three meals a day and an evening snack, but it wasn’t being done. Often, the staff and social workers helped themselves, first.
Sammy knew some people came for “free” food, at the shelters, when they had a refrigerator full of food and let it go to waste. On the streets, Sammy was an eyewitness of the best of humanity and the worst.
Sammy became homeless during the recession. She felt frightened, vulnerable, and so unprotected on the streets, at first. She KNEW no one. She’d had her personal belongings stolen numerous times. The thieves were not just other homeless people, but she saw local residents, every day pedestrians, shelter workers, and religious people steal too!
Sammy got her identification and cell phone stolen, which was very important information that was hard and expensive to replace when you’re on the street.
On top of those troubles were problems with showers and shelters, particularly for women. Sammy had to deal with bathrooms that were not secure or private. The reason shelters did this is because of problems they had with smokers, drug addicts, and potential suicides.
There were places with private showers for women, but Sammy had to compete with over a 100 or more other females. Often Sammy would get into a shower and before she could get under the water good someone else was yelling at her to “hurry up” and would verbally complain until she finished.
There was a time limit too, for showers and shower monitors, which could be a man, would make you “get out.” There were times when the shower monitor, which was often a man, would open the door exposing her nude body so everyone could see and she would have to get dressed in front of strangers. It was absolutely embarrassing.
Once Sammy complained about privacy, but she was told she should be grateful and if she didn’t cooperate they would call the police. There was  very little compassion, but every now and then you would get a truly decent person, who listened and really tried to help.
One woman actually took her to the YMCA and paid for a whole year’s membership. Sammy took showers there, had the privacy she needed and could take all the time she wanted.
It was this kind of compassion that gave Sammy hope that life would eventually get better. It also restored her faith in human decency and that some people did have qualities of true character.
Sammy wanted to go back to school and get some tech skills. It seemed like such a pipe dream, but until then she looked like a homeless, crazy person sometimes, or like a criminal.
Sammy thought, for a long time, she was better than everyone else on the street She was in denial and had to face her own stereotypes about the homeless. Like it or not, she was homeless and she wasn’t a stereotype or a statistic, she was a “real” person.
She never knew what a thin line it was between a last check, a layoff, or a drained bank account and homelessness. It could happen to anyone. Life on the streets made a woman face reality quicker than anything.
Sammy learned fast that being a woman on the street was dangerous and full of risk. She was constantly faced with sexual violence and unnecessary cruelty. Every day was a fight for food and a safe place to sleep. Sammy had learned some harsh lessons.
Though she was ignored by the regular population, she wasn’t by the homeless population. It was better for Sammy to be invisible in the homeless community. She refused to be a rough sleeper, who didn’t like the rules and regulations of shelter life, and stayed outside most of the time. Sammy didn’t mind the shelters so much and she stayed indoors as much as she could.
Sammy told UnRee how to act like a crazy person, so others would leave her alone. All she had to do is cuss, scream, and act like she was “plum nuts.” It worked for Sammy.
Sammy also cut off her hair and tried to look more like a man than woman. It was another way to keep safe since there were more men on the streets than women.
Eventually, Sammy began wearing baggy clothes that were dark and masculine like a man’s just to protect herself. It was a survival mechanism for women and a safety strategy.
When Sammy couldn’t find shelter, she had to have a back-up plan for sleeping somewhere safe. Sammy had formed a group with a few other woman and together they found a non-typical place to sleep. They told no-one unless they could trust them and if necessary they had an escape plan to safe public buildings.
Sammy’s group of women was also protected by an ex-military man. He looked out for them. He had his quirks, but overall he was a peaceful man and made sure their “little” group was kept safe. He treated them all like they were his family.
However, Sammy was not always with her group of woman or her ex-military protector. She could be tough as any man, but she had to be much smarter too!
Even though Sammy had a routine of survival on the streets she was worried that she’ll never leave. There were people who have been homeless for years. Most of society sees the homeless as riff-raff and not as decent human beings who had simply fell down on their luck.
Until homelessness happens to you; people really have no clue of this demographic of people you see every single day of your life. Ignoring the homeless will only make the problem worst.
Sammy saw the homeless EVERYWHERE now. They were sleeping on the street, in a doorway, inside the corridors, at the bus depots, under a bridge, in hostels, in obscured parking lots,  on a park bench, in someone’s back yard, or on someone’s couch or sofa.
In the richest country, supposedly, in the world, no one should ever have to face the harsh reality of homelessness.
Regardless of what happens, or whatever difficulties people face, or the choices they make homelessness is the harshest of consequences.
Sammy had no clue that she wouldn’t have the right support or that homelessness would be inevitable. She was a decent person who needed help. The way help is administered by the government agencies or the requirements needed didn’t help people like her.
That moment when you feel alone and the loss of everything you have is upon you...is frightening. Sammy didn’t have a clue what being homeless would mean. When she got BACK she would become part of an action plan to end homelessness.
Homelessness is HARD, but it is a community filled with decent human beings. Sammy knew, better than anyone, how everyone is one pay check, one lost job, one skill set too short of becoming homeless.
There is no security for decent folk who just need temporary assistance. So many people are barely scraping by and simply trying to make a comfortable living.
The homeless see very clearly the benefits of the private sectors and the country’s GREEDY leaders. They also see the injustices and imbalances that disadvantages the citizens of the United States of America.
The homeless demographic is growing and it is a brutal reality, that will eventually AWAKEN a sleeping giant and Sammy would be one of their soldiers.
Sammy had been the one who told UnRee Jesus was probably looking for her, but she walked away, that day, because someone had called her name.
UnRee never saw her again. She didn’t know if Sammy was still on the streets or whether she gotten her life back. Yet, that one conversation, about Jesus, she’d had with Sammy had SAVED UnRee’s life on the streets and now for all eternity.
Sammy was a WITNESS. “...you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth...” (ACTS 1:8 NLT).
Sammy knew Jesus had another name.“… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
Sammy knew the POWER of the NAME of Jesus. “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “ All POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV).
Sammy told UnRee that Name and whenever UnRee had asked for his help, he’d help her. “… You can ask for anything in my name (the word of god) , and I “will” do it ...” (John 14:12-14 NLT). “… You can ask for anything in my name (jesus, the word of god) . ..” (John 14:12-14 NLT). “….Y ou may ask for anything you want …”(JOHN 15:7 NASB). “… Ask and it will be given to you …” (Matthew 7:7 NIV). “…everyone who asks receives…” (Matthew 7:8 NIV).  “… God … is able, through his mighty power to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think …” (Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT).
The streets had been hard, but looking back UnRee could see, even then, Jesus had helped her. She give thanks to God, Sammy, Reginald, his GG, and the Bethesda Street Ministry! “… He helps me…” (Psalms 28:7 NLT). “… The Lord helps them , rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him…” (Psalms 37:40 NLT). “…Blessed are those who wait for his help…” (Isaiah 30:18 NLT). “… The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness…” (Romans 8:26 NLT). “… You are my helper and my savior…” (Psalms 40:17 NLT “….Then you will know that I am the Lord your God …’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT).

UNREE DEEMD: THE CHILD OF AN ANGRY MOTHER



Unree deemd:the child of an angry mother
“God’s “…love is patient,[God’s]…love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. [God’s]…love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, [God’s]…love never fails ” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV). *It felt horrible to think your whole existence is the blame for  your mother’s anger. Parents were meant to be a child’s first love, but her mother was UnRee’s first hateful enemy.
Her mother NEVER told her she loved her. When she was only two or three years old and couldn’t do certain things for herself her mother would say, “...You got two hands, do it yourself...”
How often had her mother told her she was a “mistake,” or “big disappointment,” or the “devils spawn?” The emotional abuse was unimaginable and her mother was crystal clear about how she wished she was never born. OUCH!
UnRee was punished for stupid stuff like walking too slow when she was only two years old, or having normal toddler or childhood accidents. She hated closets and scary, dark basements.
How often had UnRee been put in a bathtub of water that was too hot or too cold, but was forbidden to complain.
UnRee’s mother was an angry, abusive person. Once she and her stepfather kicked her out they moved to the suburbs and had two little boys. In the meanwhile, UnRee struggled to survive.
She found a shelter for pregnant girls after she was put out, but when she went to the hospital to have the baby, she stole the baby and ran away.
They were going to turn her over to child protection services and she’d heard horrible stories about being in the “system.” UnRee thought it would be too much like living with her mother again.
So, through connections from the girl’s shelter, she had fake identification made and went to work. UnRee worked long hours to support herself and made an effort to finish school.
UnRee felt sad, depressed, and unhappy most of her life. She didn’t know how to change her existence and felt traumatized her whole life. Struggle was all she knew all the time and every day.
She didn’t know why, but thinking Jesus was probably looking for her was the first time she ever felt an inkling of hope.
When she struggled with no one to help, she would say his name: Jesus. When she struggled with bills, she would say his name: Jesus. When she lost jobs and didn’t know what to do, she would say his name: Jesus. Every time she said his name things would work out. She thought it was some kind of power in his name: Jesus.
UnRee didn’t care how crazy it sounded to anyone else, Jesuswas all she had and he was probablylooking for her.
UnRee managed to get through middle school and High School without anyone detecting she had no parents.
Every now and then she would ride out to the suburbs and sometimes she would see her mother with her two little boys. Her mother looked young and happy. UnRee looked old and ragged from no rest, worry, and constant struggle.
UnRee had no one. Once her mother drove by, while she was on the corner with a bucket and cardboard sign and criticized her for looking like a rag doll. She told her to get a decent job and fix herself up. “... You look pathetic...” she shouted.
UnRee remembered just staring at her mother and not knowing what to say. What do you say to a mother who is ALWAYS hateful and angry toward you.
UnRee thought -  standing on a corner with a bucket and a cardboard sign - was better than living with her hateful and angry mother.
She may look like a “rag doll” but she had no support. She was working a regular job and begging to make ends meet. She couldn’t afford any more than she had. UnRee was doing it alone and she struggled while her mother lived comfortable with her pedophile husband and their two little boys.
UnRee was fortunate not to turn to prostitution or become a sex slave. She called on Jesus and asked him to protect her from any other molester or pedophile like her stepfather.
At her young age, she could have been an easy target. She looked vulnerable, even though she was ragged, skinny, poor, and had dark circles under her eyes, she was kept safe from “that” world.
When you are not loved and cast away like she was, an skilled abuser and predator can see it a mile away. UnRee was a prime candidate for those who are caught up in the sex trades or human trafficking.
Her mother didn’t love her and she was empty on the inside. Life was overwhelming, most of the time, and it was dragging her down. She was full of self-loathing and she had no confidence in herself. This life of struggle was all she had and all she deserved.
UnRee got close to no one. There were boys who tried to talk to her, but the minute they treated her bad, in any way, she cut them off.
UnRee was not kind to herself, which was bad enough, but she wasn’t going to let anybody treat her like her mother did ever again.
UnRee didn’t expected any human being to treat her lovingly, but she believed Jesus would when he found her.
UnRee had an emotional handicap, but didn’t even know the severely of it. She was never able to rely on anyone and she knew nothing about a support system.
She came into the world with a disadvantage and had no idea that a normal loving support system existed anywhere. Her mother’s failure to love her made her feel worthless. UnRee had no idea that the problem was her mother’s and not hers. Her mother’s anger had damaged her whole psyche.
UnRee was thrown out of her mother’s life like a piece of trash. She took it personal and no matter how hard she tried or desired to rise above it, she couldn’t.
UnRee didn’t even cry about her mother anymore or the fact that she didn’t love her. After UnRee was kicked out of her mother’ and stepfather’s life, she felt utterly worthless. They didn’t even let her take her clothes. It was pathetic.
She was 27 years old now and Jesus hadn’t found her yet. She was trying to wait for him, but she didn’t know how much longer she could hold on.
UnRee stood on the corner and the day turned to evening. She was more tired than usual and she passed out. When she woke up, she was in the hospital. It wasn’t the county either. It was one of those upscale hospitals too.
She buzzed the nurse. UnRee asked “...Who bought me here?...”
“...Reginald...”
“...Reginald. Reginald who?...”
“....Reginald is one of the teenagers who works with his grandmother at Bethesda Street Ministries....” UnRee nodded and rolled her eyes. She didn’t like government services and she didn’t like church ministries. At that moment, Reginald walked into the room. He spoke to the nurse and gave a big smile to UnRee. He walked over and hugged her. “...You’re better...” She stiffened at his embraced.
“...Get away from me. I don’t know you. Why did you bring me here?...
          “...I was on my way home from football practice, with my coach and best buddy when I saw you pass out. So we bought  you’re here...”
“...Why didn’t you take me to the county? I can’t afford this...”
“...My GG is the head nurse here. She told us to bring you here...”
“...Your GG?...”
“...Yes, my great-grandmother. I took a picture of you with my cell phone and she said you’re the one...”
“....What does she mean ‘you the one?’....”
“...a few years ago when I was about three years old... I just turned 15... my GG had a dream about a young girl and she felt inspired by Jesus to go looking for her. That’s why she started working with Bethesda Street Ministries. She said Jesus told her what she looked like and everything. My GG said that girl was you....”
UnRee was speechless and her tongue became cemented to her mouth. All these years and Jesus really had been looking for her through this boy’s great-grandmother. He was the only one who would ever love her. She managed to ask, “...Do you know if this Jesus has been looking for me? Do you know him? Will he love somebody like me?...” Reginald held up his hands.
“...Yes, I know him. He loves everybody and he would definitely love someone like you...” UnRee begin to cry.
“...I’ve been waiting for him so long, but now I afraid it’s too late. I’m damaged goods. I am not worthy of his love or anyone else’s either...” Reginald took her hand gently into his own and she stiffened.
“...I’m sorry..” He said and started to remove his hand from hers.
“...No, I’m sorry, leave it there. I’m just not used to anyone touching me. Why are you holding my hand?...:”
“...I was just showing you some kindness...”
“...Do you want something from me?...”
“....No, I was just showing you kindness. I don’t want anything...”
“...Oh, okay...” UnRee didn’t know what else to say. “...when you live the life I’ve lived kindness is risky, costly, and dangerous...” Reginald removed his hand and got up to leave.
“...I would like to hear about your life. May I come back to visit?...” UnRee nodded.
Over the next few days Reginald came to visit her every day. His GG was working double shifts, as a volunteer and promised to visit her soon.
Others from Bethesda Street Ministries also came and they finally introduced her to the man named Jesus.
What they told UnRee, about Jesus, was like FOOD to a starving person or water to a person dying of thirst. She felt and experienced every part of her deliverance, which was a miracle to her.
All her life she had carried the burden of her mother’s anger and the mistake of her birth. But upon accepting Jesus Christ as a Savior it was like a dark mantle was removed from her mind, her heart, and her soul. She felt brand spanking NEW and she was!!
UnRee cried for hours at the gratefulness of her Salvation. Jesus saved a “wretched person” like her. She’d been lost her whole life and he really FOUND Her!!
For UnRee if Jesus didn’t do another thing for her, his death, burial, and resurrection was the GIFT of a lifetime.
She went from NO love to the GREATEST love of all. She FELT his indwelling presence, she experienced his goodness through salvation, and she became aware of his power to SAVE lost souls like hers!!
She vowed to serve God until she died. She knew, without a doubt, that without him, she was nothing and worthless. But being reunited and restored to God, through Jesus, she had become HIS CHILD!
UnRee Lynn Deemd was somebody’s child and she was deeply loved!! Nothing she could ever do would ever separate her from God’s love. What could she render unto God for the precious gift of his DIVINE and HOLY love.
Every time the Bethesda Street Ministries came she asked about God’s love. They gave her scripture after scripture. She read them over and over. She memorized them. Her favorite one became 1 Corinthians 13. “… Love is patient , loveis kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, itis not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, It is not easily angered, It keeps no record of wrongs. Lovedoes not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, Love never fails…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).
Jesus will and would never harm her like her mother had and continued to do. “…Love does no wrong (harm) to others…” (Romans 13:10 NLT).
UnRee had had a brain bleed and needed emergency surgery. She learned she been in a coma for three weeks and was in ICU for five weeks before they moved her to the REHAB section of the hospital.
Reginald faithfully came to see her. UnRee told Reginald stories of the people she meet on the streets and he was intrigued. She told him about Sam, Julia, Martin, Cynthia, Craig, Gayle, Jeremy, and Dena.
UnRee also met Reginald’s GG and what she learned from her further changed her life too! UnRee’s imagination could not truly conceive the GREATNESS of God’s love for her.
But her eyes would witness his presence and goodness through others, and she would hear with her own ears some of the treasures of his promises. And she would experience and be gifted with the many things and blessings God had stored up for her all these years he’d been looking for her.
Salvation was the BEST, but the BETTER was yet to COME!
Already UnRee had gone from being the child of an angry mother to a child of the KING!

UNREE DEEMD: MY ANGRY MOTHER

SHOCKING BEGINNINGS
 “ SIN entered into the world…” (Romans 5:12 KJV).
…and DEATH THROUGH SIN, and so death passed to all men…” (Romans 5:12 KJV).
“…The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin] … I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t.…I [am] …a slave to the sin.… that is … within me…(Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
SIN entered into the world, and DEATH THROUGH SIN, and so death passed to all men …” (Romans 5:12 KJV).

UnRee’s mother, Sarah Deemd was a beautiful biracial girl, with lovely features and a happy personality.
Her mother was European American and her father was African American, but they died in a car accident when she was a baby.
Her father’s family, the Deemds raised her, because her mother’s family, the Robinsons, wanted nothing to do with her, at first.
Even though she LOOKED more like her mother’s family. Even her complexion hardly revealed her African American side.
The Deemd’s explained racism to the best of their ability without criticizing her biological mother’s family. She was always free to connect with them, but she didn’t for a long time.
However, when Sarah was about five years old, her grandfather Phillip Robinson began to make amends. She started spending time with her mother’s side of the family.
It was her grandfather, on her mother’s side, who was good friends with Fred Bennett and signed her up for the soccer ball team.
Meanwhile, her grandfather’s, Papa D,  job was transferring him to another state and he had to go. It started a custody battle between her grandparents. The Robinson’s won. Sarah was heartbroken.
When Papa D and Momma D left, they gave her ALL their contact information, but she never heard from them again.
The Robinsons took the cell phone they’d left her and all contact information. They never let her speak to them, receive their letters, or associate with them again.  Sarah felt lost and abandoned without them. The Robinsons eventually moved too, but in the same city and just a few blocks from where they were.
Initially she liked the Robinsons, but she didn’t want to live with them. It was something about them that never sat well with her.
Sarah couldn’t put her finger on it at first. Grandpa Robinson went to church, did loving things, and was supportive of the sports she played, but something was off.
Grandma Robinson was in la-la land and totally controlled by her husband. Her grandfather was good looking, charming, and charitable.
When she turned 8 she began to hear rumors about her coach. Fred Bennett, and asked her grandfather about it. He dismissed it and told her to ignore it too, because he was his good friend.
A little while after she turned nine, Sarah discovered the rumors were true. Coach Bennett begin molesting her. When she tried to tell her grandfather about it. He accused her of lying and told her she better not say another word to anyone else or she would get her coach in trouble.
Then it became clear, her grandfather and Bennet were two peas in a pod. Neither of them sympathized with other humans.
They were what society called psychopaths. The only reason her grandmother had a relationship with him, at all, was because she let him control her.
Her grandmother was not allowed any dissidence, or independence, or self-expression and she readily accepted the role of bimbo.
Once she saw the truth; that’s when her happy childhood came to a complete halt. She never knew another happy day in her life. She’d lost the Deemd’s and now she had no one.
For the next three years Coach Bennett sexually assaulted her over and over again. She believed the Robinson’s knew. They said and did nothing.
When the first 7 victims came forward her grandparents told her about it, but forbid her to say a word. They continued to support him, even with all the incriminating evidence, and proclaimed Fred Bennett was innocent.
A 12 year old girl was pregnant and a DNA test proved Fred Bennett was the father. Shortly after that, they discovered Sarah was pregnant too. Her grandfather refused to allow her to get a DNA test and told her to keep her mouth shut about Fred fathering her child.
What is a 12 year old child to do when they’re young and totally dependent on wicked people?
Her grandfather had government connections. He lied about her age and got her subsidized housing. She received immediate housing assistance and temporary cash assistance to help.
He qualified her for TANF (temporary assistance for needy families). There was a lifetime maximum, but her grandfather pulled some favors and she stayed on assistance until she turned 18 year old.
She was 12 years old went she was sent away to live on her own. Sarah had to grow up fast. Before long she looked much, much older. She needed help with everything and had to rely on strangers. The Robinsons sent money occasionally, but they had pretty much cut her off.
She was thankful for programs like WIC. She eventually got started on long-term subsidized housing and had to have help with her utility payments.
Finding out she was pregnant at 12 was utterly shocking, but being put out and forced to deal with such a horrific situation, alone, made Sarah bitter, angry, unforgiving, and hard-hearted.
Her grandfather put her into a place and position where she could find ALL the help she needed, but she wasn’t grateful. He had done her no favor and she was keenly aware of his wrong toward her. He, along with her grandmother, had abandoned her, because a pedophile had impregnated her. They left her alone to deal with it, by herself, at 12 years old.
It was hard and her grandfather had the nerve to tell her she couldn’t get an abortion or put the child up for adoption. “their people didn’t do that sort of thing” But “their people” put their 12 year grandchildren out, on their own, to live on government assistance.
Sarah feared her grandfather. She knew, without a doubt, he would hurt her physically if she didn’t do was she was told, so she did.
By the time she was 18 years old Sarah knew every government assistance program there was; from housing to health care to TANF and  WIC.
No matter how hard she tried Sarah couldn’t escape the anger and bitterness and sadness that began to consume her heart. It followed her everywhere.
The very first contact with her baby girl hardened her heart and she instantly decided she hated her.
Living alone, at 12 years old, even with ample assistance didn’t erase the dark mantle that was taking over her young heart.
She read about her Coach. The news told about how caring parents were dealing with child advocacy services, investigators, and state prosecutors in the process of putting away the man that hurt their children.
Meanwhile, Sarah dealt with bills, a crying baby, groceries, a part-time job, day care, health care, and saving for a new pair of shoes.
Living in the aftermath of TOTAL abandonment, after being sexually assaulted and impregnated, was excruciatingly painful.
She allowed the negative emotions to hardened her heart. It was easier to survive and she felt justified with every hateful feeling she had toward her child.
Sarah DID the right things, but she wasn’t a RIGHT person in her heart. She slowly became meaner and meaner, which turned to an EVIL no human should ever experience
The EVIL seeped into every fiber of her being and every interaction with her daughter. She had NO natural propensity to nurture or protect Fred Bennett’s offspring.
Sarah was so very, very frightened, in the beginning. She was 12. For months she felt fear and dread, then she felt sick with loneliness and worry about “their” survival.
She had no family support. The Robinsons told her Papa D and Momma D wanted nothing to do with her and she believed them. She never did hear from them after they left.
The realities she faced alone at such a young age affected her forever. It was awful not to have anyone to tell your “real” truth to, or to help you overcome such an horrific experience as she had.
Every day, since she was 12 years old, she woke up to her life-altering situation. All she could do was find a way to live through the pathetic mess her life had become. Sarah eventually begin looking twice her age.
She  suffered with depression, restlessness, and anxiety and it could be consuming at times. Often she couldn’t sleep.
No matter how often she asked “WHY” she got nothing, didn’t understand, couldn’t fix it, had no solution, and heard no answers.
It took years, but she finally adapted and accepted what her life had become. Without proper guidance Sarah had turned into a monster on the inside and didn’t apologize for it.
She was who she was and accepting that she was a terrible person and mother was, initially, scary and liberating.
Sarah couldn’t change what had happened to her. Her grandparents were awful people. Coach Bennet was a pedophile who preyed on children like her. Sarah had to move on, even if she didn’t like who she’d become; it was ALL she had.
Her young, misguided experiences had shaped her thinking and as warped as her thoughts had become she didn’t try to control the evil that had poisoned her heart.
The sins that had been passed on to her through the many injustices, and hardened her heart. They, in turn, destroyed her daughter.
Sarah wanted to do right, at one time, but she couldn’t. So she followed her flesh in raising her daughter.
Sarah give in to the darkness. She never looked for redemption nor did she search for a healthier way to care for UnRee.
Sarah didn’t care. UnRee was the blame and she had Fred Bennett’s blood running through her veins. She took the vengeance out on her innocent daughter. She felt no remorse about it. She felt justified and righteous, because she was much kinder to the child than she deserved.
The negative feelings and attitudes never went away and Sarah just surrendered to them. She didn’t fight for herself, nobody else did, and she didn’t fight for UnRee.
When Sarah’s new husband began molesting UnRee she inadvertently aided and abetted him in the abuse against her daughter. “It is what it is” she thought.
She was relieved when UnRee left her home. Her days of slaving to care for a child, she didn’t want, was over. Now UnRee will know what it had cost her to raise a daughter of a pedophile. Sarah stood by her pedophile husband like her grandmother stood by her evil grandfather.
Yet and still, late into the night Sarah remembered happier days when the Deemd’s took her to Disneyland, or to church, or on vacation, or read her bed time stories.
Then they just disappeared, no phone calls, letters, or visits. Sarah often wondered was the life with the Deemd’s merely a dream.
Truthfully, “that” Sarah died and she had become someone totally different. Her life made no sense and amounted to nothing and UnRee inherited her thousands and thousands of issues.
Sarah never treated UnRee as a human being. She was Fred Bennett’s spawn: “...the daughter of a pedophile...” And Sarah has been extremely angry about it since she gave birth to her!

UNREE LYNN DEEMD: THE UNWANTED DAUGHTER OF A PEDOPHILE!

UNREE LYNN DEEMD  “... Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?” (Job 3:11 KJV).  “...all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come...” (Job 14:14 KJV).                                          *          UnRee Lynn Deemd stood on the corner with a bucket and cardboard sign begging for food and money. Some people had compassion, some just stared or leered, and some uttered insulting words.          Some people gave her money and others threw their trash in her bucket. She knew people who begged by choice, but she had no choice at the moment.          This is where UnRee’s life had bought her to and the only thing that kept her going was that someone told her “...the only person who could ever love you is Jesus...” She had asked: “...Where is this Jesus?...”          The lady said: “...He’s around here somewhere...”           Unree asked, “...Is he looking for me?...”          “...Probably....” The lady walked away. She was 15 when she’d heard about Jesus and now she was 27 years old; living on the street.          The only reason she’d hadn’t killed herself was because she wanted to meet this Jesus. UnRee had been on the edge of suicide multiple times and she’d hated herself her whole life.          Love was an illusion, but yet, deep inside, she wanted to experience the feeling of being loved. She’d lost hope over and over, but she’d hear the woman’s voice saying, “...Probably...” Jesus was probably looking for her and she wanted to be here waiting when he came for her.          UnRee’s mother NEVER loved her. In fact, she hated her. UnRee remembered accidently dropping a bowl of cereal on the floor. Her mother beat her with an electric cord and locked her in the downstairs closet all night. Somewhere along the way she began to see all mothers as BAD, especially hers. UnRee was depressed most of the time, she was self-loathing, and she did drugs, when she could afford them, to “feel” something.          Her mother made her believe something was wrong with her and the way life had treated UnRee, maybe her mother was right.          UnRee felt she was faulty from birth and her mother consistently said, “...I didn’t ask for you to come into my life. You are a BIG mistake...”          In spite of all the negative treatment from her mother and others in her life, UnRee still sought after the illusive love from a man named Jesus.          Was she really crazy? For 27 years UnRee had been rejected, constantly reminded she was a mistake, was told she was hated, and a disappointing failure of a human being.          This is where she had ended up, on the street with a bucket and a cardboard sign, trying to survive. Survive for what? More of the same treatment?UnRee hated her mother in return for what she’d done to her and continues to do. Her own mother was one of the people who drove by and threw trash in her bucket.UnRee got pregnant at 12 too and left her child on someone’s doorstep. The little boy was probably 15 years old now. She never looked back.She was a broken person. She couldn’t care for him and she knew she couldn’t love him either. When she got pregnant her mother kicked her out and told her to never come back. Her mother hated her because of how she was conceived.How was that UnRee’s fault?  Her stepfather had done the same to her. He sexually abused  her since she was 9 years old and her mother knew about it.Her mother was a damaged person and what UnRee’s pedophile father had done to her mother was still affecting her years later. Her mother got pregnant at 12 and she was now 39 years old.UnRee felt hopeless and thought she would be a victim, like her mother, the rest of her life.Her mother had been molested by a pedophile and so had she. UnRee was so desperate for love and affection she mistook her stepfather’s kindness as love. She was pathetic!She didn’t know ANYTHING about love, affection, or pedophiles. Late at night, after her mother was sleeping, her stepfather would sneak into her room.Her stepfather would show her affection, would tell her he loved her, and made her feel special for a little while.UnRee was impressed by his show of love and affection and at first, it was a breath of fresh air, especially after the storm of hate generously demonstrated by her mother.Her stepfather was a pedophile with a history and record of molesting and preying upon children.UnRee learned too late and three years later she was pregnant with his child. He began molesting her when she was 9 years old. UnRee never tried to run away or scream for help. She trusted her stepfather. She “thought” he was a dream come true.After all, he was loving, affectionate, kind, and generous. Many times he would protect her from her hateful mother too.When her mother found out that her stepfather had been molesting her she immediately blamed UnRee. She also accused her of seducing him.Her mother had already abandoned her emotionally, but she became worst after that, if that was possible.UnRee got NO support and when she became pregnant even her stepfather turned on her. She was devastated when he abandoned her too. The warped love and affection he had given her was ALL a lie. He stood side by side, with her mother, telling her to get out of their home and their lives.In all truth, she was the daughter of a pedophile, who was molested by another pedophile. She was a victim without support. Yet she felt she was the blame for her mother’s hatred and her stepfather’s molestation.UnRee felt responsible for what happened to and with her mother and stepfather. She also felt her mistake was being born and getting involved with her own stepfather. Oh My Gosh, she was a horrible person!All she had left was guilt and shame, which made her sentence herself to a lifetime of self-loathing and disrespect. Her mother and stepfather went on with their lives while she stood on the corner with a bucket and cardboard sign.She thought she was getting what she deserved. “....the “hated” daughter of a pedophile...”Out of curiosity she went to the library and looked Fred Bennett up on the internet. He was once a little league coach who was indicted for sexually abusing little girls on his volley ball team. The country was outraged when they heard he’d been molesting children for over 12 years. He was arrested when UnRee was 2 years old.Her mother had been on his team at one time. The article said that Fred Bennett was also a clown for children’s birthday parties. Fred also did colorful tricks to make the children laugh and his decorations were fairy tale like.Fred Bennett was also named citizen of the year, held all kinds of sports awards, and had several college degrees.Yet, his victims were everywhere. When he was arrested, 7 victims had come forward, but her mother was not one of them. Fred had molested nine month old babies to 13 year old adolescents and they were all females.He was caught when a 12 year girl got pregnant, just like her mother, and told her parents how Fred Bennett had been “forcing” himself on her for months and threatened her to silence.The parents took the 12 year old to the police to inform them of what Fred Bennett had been doing to her.The police searched Fred Bennet’s properties and found incriminating evidence everywhere. Other victims came forward.Fred Bennett did the same thing her stepfather had done to win his victims over. He showed extreme displays of love and affection, which was inappropriate for a volley ball coach. Other parents remembered their children complaining, but ignored it.However, there were a few allegations, before the 12 year old’s pregnancy, but not enough evidence to charge Bennett with anything. In the end, however, Fred Bennet was charged with several crimes of rape, sexual assault, and exploitation of children. He got a lifetime in prison with no possibility of parole.Most people think Fred Bennett got what he deserved and UnRee agreed, but what of his victims.Her mother full of hate and venom had gotten a lifetime sentence too as a prisoner of his sexual abuse. Fred’s molestation of her mother had become her jail.Her mother may be FOREVER traumatized by what Fred Bennett did to her. As a result UnRee was traumatized by her mother.Most people think: JUST GET OVER IT like it’s a cold or something. But survivors like her mother and herself didn’t know or think they had any support system or didn’t think they deserved to be healed.Her mother’s hate and her stepfather’s sexual abuse had affected her and if healing was possible, UnRee hadn’t found the path yet. All she had was that someone named Jesus was “...probably...” looking for her.At the present moment, all UnRee knew is that everything that had happened to her was her fault. She had no idea she had choices and could take the responsible for her healing into her own hands.The solution sounds simple, but it is not easy. UnRee’s reality was lonely, she was angry like her mother, she committed petty crimes, she abused drugs sometimes, she didn’t trust other humans, she thought about suicide regularly, and she hated herself. All these things constantly OVERWHELMED her and the possibility of being healed was nowhere on her radar.
If Jesus didn’t ever find her all she would ever be was her mother’s victim and the daughter of a pedophile.

PURPOSE OR GOAL OF LESSON: TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD. TO REALIZE DELAYED DOESN'T MEAN DENIED.
APPLICATION OF LESSON: TO CONTINUE DEPENDING UPON GOD’S WORD WHEN HE IS DELAYED. THE OUTCOME IS NOT IN YOUR OPINION,  IN YOUR PRESENT SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES, OR IN YOUR PERCEPTION, BUT IN YOUR DECISION TO HAVE FAITH (trust in and dependency upon God) AND KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
TOPIC DISCUSSION: DISCUSS HOW DEAD HOPES, DREAMS OR PRAYERS, BASED ON TRUSING IN AND DEPENDING UPON THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD, WILL BE REALIZED. WE LET GO OF THE OUTCOME, BUT WE DON’T GIVE UP.  It is NOT always easy to continue to walk upright or MOVE FORWARD when BAD, DIFFICULT, TRAGIC, or MIND-BLOWING events and experiences happen or are happening. The bible says: “…. LET US NOT GROW WEARY while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart…” (Galatians 6:9 KJV). We may “lose heart” when we go through DEATH, DISAPPOINTMENTS, LOSS, HEARTBREAK, DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS, OR BROKEN DREAMS (Galatians 6:9 KJV). “…In DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart …” (Galatians 6:9 KJV). We may not be exactly like the men-servants in Luke 12:45, but we may come to a resigning conclusion, because God delayed his coming into our situations and circumstances of life. “… My Lord delayeth his coming …” (Luke 12:45 KJV). Eventually, however, no matter how many days or years have passed, God will manifest his GLORY and turn things around for the good. “…And in the PROCESS of time “IT” CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV). “...ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE…” (ROMANS 8:28 KJV). People grow TIRED and WEARY from waiting. The bible says: “… They that WAIT UPON the LORD shall renew [their] strength…” (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).  “… WAIT ON the LORD : be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: WAIT, I say, on the LORD…” (Psalms 27:14 KJV). “… The LORD [is] good unto them that WAIT FOR HIM …” (Lamentations 3:25 KJV). “…THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT….” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).  Making it to the FINISH LINE of OUR HOPES, DREAMS, AND PRAYERS, which depend upon God’s promises, by waiting on God becomes overwhelmingly challenging. However, “… the one who endures to the end , he will be saved…” (Matthew 24:13 NASB). It is the details and process that becomes challenging, especially if, like Mary and Martha, you have experienced a loved one go through a difficult sickness, take their last breath and die, be funeralized, and left in a tomb. . “… if thou hadst been HERE my brother had NOT died …” (John 11:21 KJV). Such events and experiences can weaken you and cause you to GIVE UP before getting to the FINISH LINE or the promised ENDING of a journey. . “… if thou hadst been HERE my brother had NOT died …” (John 11:21 KJV). God promised Lazarus’ sickness would not end in death, but it “LOOKED” like it DID end in DEATH. “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV). What promises of God did you RELY on that LOOK as if it is a DEAD or FAILED promise? “… Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made … failed; ALL CAME TO PASS…” (Joshua 21:45 NASB).  Was Lazarus’ physical DEATH the FINISH LINE or end of the journey for Martha and Mary’s HOPES, DREAMS, and PRAYERS regarding their brother? NO, but it “LOOKED” like it was. Why wasn’t IT the end? Because Jesus, the WORD, told them: “… this sickness is NOT unto death, but for the glory of God …” (John 11:4 KJV). “…"Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God ?" (John 11:40 KJV). What was the FINISH LINE or END PROMISE for Martha and Mary’s HOPES, DREAMS, and PRAYERS in regard their brother? “… you will “see” the glory  (PRESENCE, GOODNESS & POWER) of God ?" (John 11:40 KJV). AND “… this sickness is NOT unto death …” (John 11:4 KJV). Did God’s WORD inspire your HOPES, DREAMS, or PRAYERS for a restored relationship, to see a sick relative or friend well again, to save a wayward child, to change a situation or circumstance, to break an addiction, but after days, weeks, months, or years “IT” NEVER came to pass? “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV). Did YOU, like Martha and Mary, HEAR, through the WORD of God, a similar promise: “… this sickness is NOT unto death …” (John 11:4 KJV). Did Lazarus die? Even Jesus said, “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV). Did Jesus lie? “… God is not a man, so he does not lie . He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers 23:19 NASB). “…If we are unfaithful (in keeping his WORD), he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is…” (2 Timothy 2:13 NLT). “... some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?  Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true....” (Romans 3:3-4 NLT). Did God lie to you? After so many days or years of waiting or delays, what do you think about God’s promises NOW? What did Martha and Mary think? “… said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here , my brother had NOT died Mary was come where Jesus was…. saying unto him , Lord , if thou hadst been here , my brother had NOT died …” (John 21, 32 KJV). Jesus responded, to the sisters, with a REMINDER of the PROMISE he’d made. “…Jesus said to her, Your brother will rise again.”   …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). Do you have DOUBTS about God’s WORD to you? Did Martha and Mary doubt Jesus? “…Martha said to Him, “ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day .” …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). Has your HOPE, DREAMS, or PRAYERS inspired by God’s promises ended in disappointment after disappointment? Will Martha and Mary be disappointed too? “… HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT … (ROMANS 5:5 NASB). “…For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED" (ROMANS 10:11 NASB). “… HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED… (ROMANS 9:33 NASB). “…In You they trusted (depended upon) and WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED…. (PSALMS 22:5 NASB).  Why BELIEVE “IN” him, or depend upon Jesus, the WORD, if the situation dies anyway? “….” Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life ; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this ?”  She said to Him, “ Yes , Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). If you have believed like Martha and Mary believe, what is the problem? After all, Martha and Mary also believed in Jesus, believed in the resurrection, believed he was Christ, the Son of God, and believed God would do whatever he asked of him. “… IT SHALL BE DONE TO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH …” (MATTHEW 9:29 NASB).With ALL their professed faith in Jesus, the WORD, Martha and Mary experienced Lazarus death so that they would BELIEVE. “… I am glad for your sakes (his disciples, Mary, ande Martha) that I was not there (when Lazarus died), to the intent, you may BELIEVE ….” (John 11:15 KJV). “…I knew that thou (God) hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me…” (John 11:41-42 KJV). BELIEVE WHAT?  You will ultimately OBTAIN eternal LIFE. “…The GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ ….” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “… HE “WILL” KEEP YOU STRONG to the end …” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). Everything else TEACHES you to LIVE with a stronger, more dependent, and greater FAITH in God’s Word. Therefore, events and experiences are practice, to encourage endurance and so “… that… [you]… may believe (depend) that thou (God) hast sent [jesus, his word] …” (John 11:41-42 KJV). WHO sent WHO? GOD sent JESUS, the WORD. “… This is the work of God , that ye believe on Him  (depend upon him) whom he hath sent (jesus, his word) ” (John 6:28-29 KJV). WHO was SENT? “… HE … sent His Son (Jesus, the Word) ...” (1 John 4:10 KJV). Who EXACTLY is his Son, Jesus? “… the WORD … [was] … made flesh , and dwelt among us, we beheld his glory, glory of the ONLY begotten… [SON]… of the Father, full of grace and truth… [which]… came through Jesus Christ …” (John 1:14, 17 KJV). Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, HAS ALL POWER. “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “ All POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV). “ He (who or whatever “he” represents) that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV).  
THAT DEAD THING “WILL” COME FORTH!
1.    WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU IN THE VALLEY? VALLEY REFERS TO A PLACE OF OR STATE OF HOPELESSNES, DREAMLESSNESS OR PRAYLESNESS. WERE YOU RESURRECTED TO LIFE TO BE DEFEATED OR TO OVERCOME EVERYTHING? You were NEVER meant to ADAPT to DEAD situations and they were “NOT” meant to defeat YOU, but you were meant to OVERCOME them. “.. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows . But take heart , because I have (you HAVE) overcome the world …” (John 16:33 NLT). “… If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom ” (Deuteronomy 28:13 NLT). WHEN GOD IS DELAYed IN COMING TO CERTAIN SITUATIONS OR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO ADAPT OR REMAIN HOPEFUL, DREAMFUL, AND PRAYERFUL? YOU ARE TO REMAIN HOPEFUL, DREAMFUL, AND PRAYERful. The bible says: “…. LET US NOT GROW WEARY while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart…” (Galatians 6:9 KJV). We may “lose heart” when we go through DEATH, DISAPPOINTMENTS, LOSS, HEARTBREAK, DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS, OR BROKEN DREAMS (Galatians 6:9 KJV). “…In DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart …” (Galatians 6:9 KJV). WHEN WAS APOSTLE PAUL’S SECRET WHEN HE WAS GOING THROUGH DIFFICULTIES AND WAITING FOR GOD’S WORD TO DELIVER HIM. HE LEARNED TO BE CONTENT or restful. Apostle Paul said, “… I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances . I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want…” Philippians 4:11-12 NIV). His secret, “… I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me .” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “ Be content with what you have , because God has said “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you …” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “God is [your] refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalms 46:1 KJV).

2.    EVEN THROUGH JESUS, THE WORD, DELAYED HIS COMING INTO MARY AND MARTHA'S SITUATION, DID THEIR BROTHER RISE AGAIN AS HE PROMISED? Yes, their brother rose again. “… My Lord delayeth his coming …” (Luke 12:45 KJV). “…And in the PROCESS of time “IT” CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV). “...ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE…” (ROMANS 8:28 KJV). EVEN THROUGH GOD HAS BEEN DELAYED IN COMING to YOUR SITUATION, WHAT ARE YOU ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE TO DO? WAIT ON GOD.  “… They that WAIT UPON the LORD shall renew [their] strength…” (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).  “… WAIT ON the LORD : be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: WAIT, I say, on the LORD…” (Psalms 27:14 KJV). “… The LORD [is] good unto them that WAIT FOR HIM …” (Lamentations 3:25 KJV). “…THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT….” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).  ARE YOU RESURRECTED TO (SPIRITUAL) LIFE TO BE DEFEATED, GIVE UP, QUIT, OR WERE YOU MEANT TO ENDURE TO THE END OF EVERY JOURNEY GOD GIVES TO YOU? YOU WERE MEANT TO OVERCOME AND ENDURE TO THE END.“… the one who endures to the end , he will be saved…” (Matthew 24:13 NASB). “.. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows . But take heart , because I (THE WORD) have overcome the world (YOU HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD) …” (John 16:33 NLT). “… the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom ” (Deuteronomy 28:13 NLT). It is the details and process that becomes challenging, especially if, like Mary and Martha, you have experienced a loved one go through a difficult sickness, take their last breath and die, be funeralized, and left in a tomb. WHAT WAS MARY AND MARTHA’S ATTITUDE ABOUT JESUS, THE WORD’S DELAY INTO THEIR SITUATION? THEY TOLD JESUS, THE WORD, IF HE HAD NOT BEEN DELAYED THEIR BROTHER WOULD NOT HAVE DIED.. “… if thou hadst been HERE my brother had NOT died …” (John 11:21 KJV). “… if thou hadst been HERE my brother had NOT died …” (John 11:21 KJV). “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV).

3.    WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LETTING GO OF THE OUTCOME AND GIVING UP ON THE OUTCOME? LETTING GO OF THE OUTCOME IS A CHOICE TO TRUST AND DEPEND UPON GOD BY FAITH. GIVING UP ON THE OUTCOME IS A CHOICE "NOT" TO TRUST AND DEPEND UPON GOD.  “… the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom ” (Deuteronomy 28:13 NLT). “.. because I (THE WORD) have overcome the world (YOU HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD) …” (John 16:33 NLT). “… Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made … failed; ALL CAME TO PASS…” (Joshua 21:45 NASB). “…. LET US NOT GROW WEARY while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart…” (Galatians 6:9 KJV). “… Choose you this day whom ye will serve….” (Joshua 24:15 KJV). “…‘We’ve [CHOSEN TO LET GO OF]... everything to follow you…” (Mark 10:28-31 NLT). And Jesus said to him, “…I assure you that everyone who has  [CHOSEN TO LET GO OF; WHATEVER IT IS], for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many [WHATEVER] .. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life...” (Mark 10:28-31 NLT). WHAT DID GOD PROMISE THE OUTCOME FOR LAZARUS WOULD BE? HE SAID HE WOULD RISE AGAIN. “… this sickness is NOT unto death, but for the glory of God …” (John 11:4 KJV). “…"Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God ?" (John 11:40 KJV).  EVEN THOUGH MARY AND MARTHA WENT THROUGH LAZARUS’ SICKNESS, HIS DEATH, THE PREPARATION FOR HIS BURIAL, THE FUNERAL SERVICES, AND HIS ENTOMBMENT, WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME OF THE PROMISE GOD MADE TO THEM? The OUTCOME OF THE PROMISE for Martha and Mary’s HOPES, DREAMS, and PRAYERS in regard TO their brother WAS THAT HE WOULD RISE AGAIN AND THEY WOULD “SEE” WITH THEIR “OWN” EYES GOD’S GLORY. THEY DID. “… you will “see” the glory of God ?" (John 11:40 KJV). AND “… this sickness is NOT unto death …” (John 11:4 KJV). “ thy brother shall rise again …Believest thou this? …” (John 11:23-27 KJV).

4.    Did God’s WORD inspire your HOPES, DREAMS, or PRAYERS for a restored relationship, to see a sick relative or friend well again, to save a wayward child, to change a situation or circumstance, to break an addiction, but after days, weeks, months, or years “IT” NEVER came to pass? DISCUSSION QUESTION. “… this sickness is NOT unto death …” (John 11:4 KJV). “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV). Did Jesus, THE WORD, lie TO MARY AND MARTHA? NO. WHY OR WHY NOT? GOD’S WORD IS HOLY SPIRIT TRUTH AND THEREFORE, HE DOES NOT LIE. “… God is not a man, so he does not lie . He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers 23:19 NASB). Did God lie to you? NO. After so many days or years of waiting or delays, what do you think about God’s promises NOW? I THINK HIS PROMISES WILL “STILL” COME TO PASS WHETHER I DEPEND UPON THEM OR NOT; GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISES. “… he remains faithful [that’s his HOLY nature], for he cannot deny who he is (2 Timothy 2:13 NLT).God says, I “… am WATCHING over my word to PERFORM it …” (Jeremiah 1:12 NASB). “…So …MY WORD … SHALL NOT return unto me void, but it SHALL ACCOMPLISH that which I please, and it SHALL PROSPER in the thing whereto I sent it…” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV). What did Martha and Mary think ABOUT JESUS, THE WORD’S, DELAY INTO THEIR SITUATION? THEY BLAMED GOD. “… said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here , my brother had NOT died Mary was come where Jesus was…. saying unto him , Lord , if thou hadst been here , my brother had NOT died …” (John 21, 32 KJV).

5.    WHAT “GRACIOUS” AND LOVING RESPONSE DID GOD MAKE TO MARY AND MARTHA’S BLAMING ATTITUDE? HE ASSURED THEM THEIR BROTHER WOULD RISE AGAIN.  “…Jesus said to her, Your brother will rise again.”   …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). Do you have DOUBTS OR LIMITED KNOWLEDGE about God’s WORD to you? SOMETIMES. Did Martha and Mary doubt Jesus, THE WORD, or did they have a LIMITED perspective about the POWER of God’s WORD IN THEIR SITUATION? THEY HAD A LIMITED PERSPECTIVE OF GOD’S WORD IN THEIR SITUATION. “…Martha said to Him, “ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day .” …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). WILL HOPE IN THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD EVER DISAPPOINT YOU? yes IT WILL and no IT WON'T. Has your HOPE, DREAMS, or PRAYERS inspired by God’s promises ended in disappointment after disappointment? Discussion question. “… HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT … (ROMANS 5:5 NASB). “…For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED" (ROMANS 10:11 NASB). “… HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED… (ROMANS 9:33 NASB). “…In You they trusted (depended upon) and WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED…. (PSALMS 22:5 NASB).  WAS Martha and Mary disappointed while they were going through? Yes, they were crying about their brother’s death. “... When Jesus therefore “saw” her weeping....” (john 11:33 KJV).“…The Jews came to … comfort them (Martha and Mary) concerning their brother…” (John 11:19 KJV).  “… Jesus [also] wept …” (John 11:35 KJV). “…We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses …” (Hebrews 4:15 NASB). “… I will provide for you ...” …he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.…” (GENESIS 50:15:21).

6.    Why depend upon god’s word if you have to endure the death of your hopes, dreams, or prayers? GOD “ALWAYS” HAS THE BEST PLAN AND OUTCOME FOR YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LIFE’S SITUATIONS, EVEN IF YOU DON’T AGREE. GOD’S WORD HAS THE “POWER” TO RESURRECT THE DEAD AND RESTORE LIFE NO MATTER WHAT IT “LOOKS” LIKE OR HOW LONG IT’S BEEN!   “….” Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life ; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this ?”  DID MARY AND MARTHA BELIEVE JESUS, THE WORD, WAS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE FOR A FUTURE EXPERIENCE? YES. “… thy brother shall rise again …” (John 11:23-27 KJV). “… …I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day …” (John 11:23-27 KJV). “….” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. ...” (JOHN 11:25 KJV).  “….” Do you believe this ?...” (JOHN 11:25 KJV). Yes , Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world …” (John 11:22-27 NASB).

7.    Martha and Mary believed in Jesus, THE WORD, believed in the resurrection, believed he was THE Christ, the Son of God, and believed God would do whatever he asked of him. If you have believed like Martha and Mary believeD, what is the problem? THE PROBLEM, FOR MARY AND MARTHA, WAS THE LIMITED PERCEPTION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD. IT IS PROBABLY MY PROBLEM TOO. “… Even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You …” (John 11:22-27 NASB). “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…The things which are impossible with men are possible with God…” (Luke 18:27 KJV). “… BY THE WORD of the Lord All things came [or come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB& John 1:1-4 NASB). “ He that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV). “… IT SHALL BE DONE TO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH (ACCORDING TO “YOUR” DEPENDENCY UPON THE POWER OF HIS HOLY WORD) …” (MATTHEW 9:29 NASB). BECAUSE GOD KNOWS OUR PERCEPTION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE POWER OF HIS WORD IS LIMITED, WHAT WILL HE DO? HE WILL ALLOW SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES TO HAPPEN IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN, DEVELOP, AND EMPOWER A GREATER FAITH OR DEPENDENCY UPON THE “POWER” OF HIS WORD.  “… I am glad for your sakes (his disciples) that I was not there (when Lazarus died), to the intent, you may BELIEVE ….” (John 11:15 KJV). “…I knew that thou (God) hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me…” (John 11:41-42 KJV). “… HE “WILL” KEEP YOU STRONG to the end …” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). So “… that… [you]… may believe (depend) that thou (God) hast sent [jesus, his word] …” (John 11:41-42 KJV). “… This is the work of God , that ye believe on Him   (depend upon him) whom he hath sent (jesus, his word) ” (John 6:28-29 KJV).

8.    WHO DID GOD SEND IN ORDER FOR YOU TO DEPEND UPON HIM? HE SENT JESUS, HIS WORD. “… HE … sent His Son (Jesus, the Word) ...” (1 John 4:10 KJV). WHAT WAS JESUS’ OTHER NAME? THE WORD OF GOD.  Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). “… the WORD … [was] … made flesh , and dwelt among us, we beheld his glory, glory of the ONLY begotten… [SON]… of the Father, full of grace and truth… [which]… came through Jesus Christ …” (John 1:14, 17 KJV). DOES JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, HAVE ALL POWER? YES, THE WORD OF GOD HAS “ALL” POWER. “… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “ All POWER is given unto me IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV). “ He (who or whatever “he” represents) that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV).  DOES GOD’S WORD HAVE THE POWER TO RESURRECT YOUR DEAD HOPES, DREAMS, OR PRAYERS AND GIVE “LIFE” TO THEM? YES. HOW? NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD’S WORD. “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “…The things which are impossible with men are possible with God…” (Luke 18:27 KJV). “… BY THE WORD of the Lord All things came [or come] into being …” (Psalms 33:6 NASB& John 1:1-4 NASB). “ He that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV).

9.     JESUS, THE WORD, TOLD MARY AND MARTHA TO GO TO THE PLACE OF THEIR DEFEAT, WHERE WAS THAT PLACE? THE PLACE WHERE THE DEAD WAS LAID OR LAZARUS’ TOMB. Go to“… the PLACE “WHERE” the DEAD was laid …” (John 11:39-41 KJV). WHAT DID HE TELL THEM TO DO ONCE THEY GOT TO “THE PLACE” WHERE THEY HAD LAID THE DEAD? HE TOLD THEM TO ROLL AWAY THE STONE. “… TAKE ye away the STONE …” (John 11:39-41 KJV). DOES GOD INTEND FOR HIS PEOPLE TO BE DEFEATED, QUIT, ADAPT TO THE NEGATIVE, GIVE UP, OR DOES HE INTEND FOR THEM TO WIN, MOVE FORWARD, AND BE VICTORIOUS. HE INTENDS FOR THEM TO WIN, MOVE FORWARD, AND BE VICTORIOUS. “… press on to reach the end of the race  … which God, through Christ Jesus , is calling [you]…” (Philippians 3:14 NLT).  THat “…you may BELIEVE….” (John 11:15 KJV).  “… He will keep you strong to the end …” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT). “…[Y] our… sufficiency is of God …” (2 Corinthians 3:5 KJV). “… " Did I not say to you that if you believe , you will see the glory of God ?" (John 11:40 KJV). Martha and Mary were eye witnesses that Lazarus was DEAD and would be until the resurrection DAY. Lazarus WAS DEAD. They SAW it. They BURIED him. He was IN the tomb. HOWEVER, DID HE LIVE AGAIN AS JESUS, THE WORD SAID HE WOULD? YES, HE WAS RESURRECTED TO "THIS" LIFE. “… Lazarus is dead …” (John 11:14 KJV). “ thy brother shall rise again …” (John 11:23-27 KJV). “… LIVE BY FAITH (BY DEPENDING UPON THE POWER OF GOD’S HOLY WORD), NOT BY SIGHT (NOT BY WHAT YOU SEE IN THE NATURAL) …” (2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV). “… the things which are impossible with men are possible with God …” (Luke 18:27 KJV). “…. Is there any thing too hard for [God] ?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV) . “… if you believe , you will see the glory of God " (John 11:40 KJV). “… [ His]… word   … that goeth forth out of [his]… mouth … it shall accomplish that which [Pleases God]  and it shall prosper in the thing where to [God]… sent it ” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV).  “… Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made failed; all came to pass …” (Joshua 21:45 NASB). God is “… watching over [his[… word to perform it …” (Jeremiah 1:12 NASB).  “ He that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV).

10.    CAN YOU MAKE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS DIFFICULT SITUATION  OR CIRCUMSTANCE? YES, YOU CAN. HOW? YOU CAN DO “ALL” THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, THE WORD OF GOD, THAT STRENGTHENS YOU TO DO IT. “…. [You]… CAN DO (reach the finish line) all things THROUGH Christ which strengtheneth [you] …” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). Therefore, “… He will keep you strong to the end …” (1 Corinthians 1:8 NLT).  WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WHEN YOU GET TIRED AND WEARY IN THE JOURNEY? KEEP DEPENDING UPON THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD REGARDLESS OF YOUR "FEELINGS." PRESS ON. “… TAKE ye away the STONE …” (John 11:39-41 KJV). “… press on to …the end of the race   …” (Philippians 3:14 NLT). “..I , THE WORD, have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows . But take heart , because I have overcome the world (SO HAVE YOU!) …” (John 16:33 NLT).“…that… [you] … may believe (DEPEND UPON THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD AND KNOW) that thou (God) hast sent (jesus, HIS word) …” (John 11:41-42 KJV). “ He that was dead came forth …” (John 11:42-43 KJV). YOU “WILL” MAKE IT TO THE FINISH LINE!! “....I have overcome the world (SO HAVE YOU!) …” (John 16:33 NLT).

2020 SPIRITUAL VISION COMES FROM BEING CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE. ARE YOU CONNECTED?



GOD IS SPIRIT
“… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… The Lord (THE WORD) is that Spirit …” too (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).  “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE… ” (John 3:6 NLT). “…God has sent forth the Spiritof His Son (the WORD) “INTO” [YOUR HEART (the command center of the Soul)]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…Jesus Christ (the WORD) is IN YOU ” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… the Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you …” (Romans 8:9 KJV).

GOD IS SPIRIT. Knowing you are in a relationship with God is being AWARE that God’s BOND-of-LOVE AND COVENANT UNION with you is strictly spiritual. “…God is l ove…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…[SPIRITUAL] love …is the perfect BOND of unity ...”(Colossians 3:14 NASB). “ … He that is joined (UNITED in a covenant relationship) unto the LORD “is” ONE SPIRIT (with him) …” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV).
AWARENESS of this relationship as a SPIRITUAL “ONE” is HAVING a knowledge, consciousness, understanding, or realization of God and that awareness comes BY FAITH. “… BY FAITH we UNDERSTAND (become AWARE of)that what we now see (the synergy of the relationship with God, who is SPIRIT) did not come from anything that can be seen…” (Hebrews 11 NLT). SPIRITUAL SYNERGY. “…The person WITHOUT the Spirit DOES NOT accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understandthem (or become AWARE of them) because they are discerned only through the [HOLY, invisible, indwelling] Spirit. ” (2 Corinthians 2:12-15 KJV). 
“…a right (through God’s SPIRITUAL love and union) relationship with God … comes by faith (by dependency upon his word)…” (Romans 4:13 NASB). “…a person is made rightwith God by faith in (or dependency upon) Jesus Christ (the word of god)…” (Galatians 2:16 NLT).
BY FAITH or dependency upon his WORD, which is also SPIRIT, you become AWARE of God’s love and God’s indwelling union WITH YOU. “… THE WORDS … they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “… Faith cometh by hearing , and hearing by the word of God …” (Roman 10:17 KJV). “…[The] Good News about Christ   (the WORD)… ” is” the power of God at work , saving everyone who BELIEVES (in or depends upon God’s WORD, which tells of his love and desire to be united to them) ” (Romans 1:16 NLT).
GOD BONDS himself TO YOU (YOUR SOUL) with LOVE through “HIS” INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT!  “…God is love…” (1 John 4:4-8 KJV). “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… [God’s SPIRITUAL] love …is the perfect BOND of unity ...”(Colossians 3:14 NASB). “… Love is  patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, Love never fails…” (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 NIV).  “…NOT that [you]… loved God, but that HE LOVED … [you] ... (1 John 4:10 KJV). “…. HE FIRST LOVED [you] ” (1 John 4:19 ASV). “… [Nothing] … shall be able to separate [you]… from the love of God which is “in” Christ Jesus our Lord (also the WORD) …” (Romans 8:38-39 KJV).  “….the… faithful love of the Lord , never ends ...” (Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT). “… God SO LOVED the world (YOU)… ” (John 3:16 KJV). “… There is no greater love …” (John 15:13 NLT).
GOD UNITES himself TO YOU through “HIS” INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT! “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… The Lord is that Spirit …” too (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).  “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE… ” (John 3:6 NLT).“… It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE …” (John 6:63 NASB). “Jesus (the WORD) saith…I am …THE LIFE…” (John 14:6 KJV). “…God has sent forth the Spiritof His Son (the WORD, which is Spirit) “INTO” [YOUR HEART (the command center of the Soul)]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “… THE WORDS THAT I (Jesus) SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and they ARE LIFE…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…Jesus Christ (the WORD) is IN YOU (indwelled WITHIn you) ” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). Like a SEED planted in the earth, God has planted his indwelling Holy Spirit within your earthen vessel. “… Christ (the WORD) be “IN” YOU (indwelled in you) … (Romans 8:10 KJV). “… the Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you (indwells within your earthen vessel) …” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
GOD BONDS and UNITES himself TO YOU through “HIS” INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT just like he did with Jesus, the WORD! "I and my Father are [not simply close, but]…ONE." (John 10:30 KJV).
Jesus DID NOT say he and his Father were close, but he said they were “ONE.” Close implies a nearness to, but “one” implies a single unit or an undivided whole.
 In Hebrew, the definition of oneness (echadh) is “unity.” This unity is, first and foremost, HOLY and unique to God and Jesus (Deuteronomy 6:4). JESUS is The WORD of GOD. “… He (Jesus) had a name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God …” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). The WORD of God is SPIRIT. “… THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV).
Thus, Jesus (THE WORD) is also SPIRIT. “… The Lord is that Spirit …” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).
 God is Spirit. “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV).  Jesus (the word) is SPIRIT. “… The Lord is that Spirit [too!] …” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).
God is Spirit and Jesus, the Word is Spirit. “… I and my Father are ONE…” (John 10:30 KJV).
Believers, now have the privilege of saying, “… I and my Father are one…,” TOO.
However ONLY “through” Christ, the WORD can you be bonded and united to God, the Holy Spirit (John 10:30). “…God … reconciled us to himself through Christ (the WORD) ” (2 Corinthians 5:18 NIV). “… [God sent the] … one … who can reconcile God and humanity— the man Christ Jesus (the word of God) …” (1 Timothy 2:5 NLT). “…For Christ (the Word & atoning sacrifice)… died for sins ONCE for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us [home again] to God…” (1 Peter 3:18 NASB). “… I will bring them home again,” says the Lord (the word of God.” (HOSEA 11 NLT).
The Holy Spirit is non-physical (metaphysical) and man’s SOUL is non-physical. Jesus, the WORD of God has the POWER to BOND and UNITE the Spirit and SOUL together again like he did when he FIRST created the male and female.  “…. LET US MAKE man … after our likeness…”(Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his OWN image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body),and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, behold, it was very good …” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
God shares his unique “oneness” with believers AGAIN, through their faith in or dependency upon Christ, the WORD, at SALVATION. “…Faith cometh by hearing … THE WORD of God” (Roman 10:17 KJV). "… I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances…” (Ezekiel 36:27 NASB). “…The graceof our Lord was poured out on me (or transferred to me) abundantly, ALONG WITH FAITH (the power to depend upon God) … that are “IN” Christ Jesus (the WORD)” (1 Timothy 1:13-14 NIV). “… God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into [your]… hearts...” (Galatians 4:6 NASB).
HE BONDED and UNITED YOU WITH HIS HOLY SPIRIT SO… “…that [YOU] may all be ONE; even as You, Father, are in Me (the WORD, which is SPIRIT) and I in You (God, the Holy Spirit), that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me (YOUR WORD)…” (John 17:21-23 NASB).
This Holy “ONENESS” is the uniting of man’s soul and God’s Holy Spirit through Jesus, the WORD. GOD RESTORES MANKIND “BACK” TO THE ORIGINAL CREATED “IMAGE.” 
What can MAKE mankind spiritually WHOLE again, spiritually ALIVE, and RESTORE them BACK to God’s original image? The answer: the Holy Spirit; the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT? “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE ” (John 3:6 NLT). “…. Apart from [the HOLY SPIRIT], you can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV).
Only the “breath of life” or “the HOLY SPIRIT” can return mankind BACK to God’s original, created “image” and “likeness” that was ONCE so VERY good? “…. LET US MAKE man … after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). “…in his OWN image…..male and female created he them…”(Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit);and man became a living soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, behold, it was very good …” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
HOWEVER, when mankind chose to follow after their flesh instead of God’s Holy Spirit they became a DEAD SOUL. The STORY changed. “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body),and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Holy Spirit); [but they followed after the FLESH] and man became a [dead] soul (soul)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV).
. “… [Their] INIQUITIES (sin) … separated … [them] and [their] God (Holy) …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “… It’s YOUR SINS that have cut you off from God (who is HOLY)…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT).
SIN created a BARRIER between sinful man and the HOLY God. “… And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm (barrier) has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us …” (Luke 16:22-25 NASB).
This barrier will ALWAYS cause a SEPARATION, because HOLINESS can NOT and will NOT “EVER” MIX with SIN. SIN and HOLINESS SEPARATES; just like oil and water. “… And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm (barrier) has been set in place …” (Luke 16:22-25 NASB).
Therefore, ONLY “… Jesus Christ maketh thee whole [again] …” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “…If any man be in Christ , he is a NEW creature ” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… [because] … all things are … [MADE] … NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… I will put a “new” spirit in you . …” (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT).
 “…May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole , make you holy and whole , put you together [again]— spirit, soul, and body ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 MSG).
God “SO” loved you and WANTED “YOU” back in UNION with him (the HOLY SPIRIT). “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… I am [also] holy…” (1 Peter 1:16 KJV).
 “… There ... [is] … …one … who can reconcile God and humanity— the man Christ Jesus (The Word of God) …” (1 Timothy 2:5 NLT). Thus, “... God so loved the world, that HE GAVE his only begotten (specially created) Son , that whosoever believeth in him (depends upon him) should not perish, but have everlasting life…” (John 3:16 KJV).
GOD MADE A HUMAN VESSEL AND CAME DOWN TO EARTH TO PERSONALLY SPEAK TO YOU AND BECOME YOUR ATONING SACRIFICE!! “… Though he (JESUS, THE WORD, THE HUMAN VESSEL) was God …” (Philippians 2:6-7 NLT). He was“… born as a human being …” (Philippians 2:6-7 NLT). “… Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God…” (John 1:13 KJV). “… The Holy Spiritshall come upon you (Mary, mother of Jesus), and the power of God shall overshadow you; so the baby born to you will be utterly holy the Son (THE WORD) of God…” (Luke 1:35 NLT).
GOD expressed his LOVE through JESUS. “… God SO LOVED the world, that he GAVE ” (John 3:16 KJV). “ …God …. GAVE his only begotten (specially created) Son ” (John 3:16 KJV).    “…NOT that we loved God, but that HE LOVED US ... (1 John 4:10 KJV). “…. HE FIRST LOVED US ” (1 John 4:19 ASV).
GOD expressed his LOVE through the Holy Spirit’s actions. “… he SENT HIS SON   (action) to be the propitiation for our sins . ” (1 John 4:10 KJV). GOD “SPARED NOT his own Son, but DELIVERED (action) him up FOR US ALL” (Romans 8:32 KJV). “God SHOWED HIS GREAT LOVE FOR US by “SENDING” (action) Christ to die (action) for us WHILE we were still sinners” (Romans 5:7-9 NLT). “… There is no GREATER LOVE than to lay down   (action) one’s life …” (John 15:13 NLT).
God’s DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, (HIS LIVING WORD), MIRACULOUSLY COVERED over ALL that separates YOU from him. “… Love COVERETH a multitude of sins …” (Proverbs 10:12, 1 Peter 4:8 ASV).
Thus, Jesus told the world he was bonded and united with the Father. He told us they were ONE SPIRIT working together to CONFIRM and REVEAL God’s DIVINE nature and DIVINE power. “… I and my Father are ONE…” (John 10:30).
Becoming AWARE of your UNION with Christ, the WORD of God, means you have become familiar, acquainted, mindful, attentive, or enlightened by God’s SPIRITUAL bond and union with YOU. “…Love… is the perfect BOND of unity...” (Colossians 3:14 NASB).  “ … He that is joined (UNITED) unto the LORD “is” ONE SPIRIT …[with HIM]…” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV).
The UNION between Christ, the WORD, and the believer resembles the union between the BRANCH and the VINE in the John 15 parable. “… I AM THE VINE , AND MY FATHER IS THE HUSBANDMAN (SOVEREIGN CAREGIVER)…I AM THE VINE AND YE ARE THE BRANCHES …” (JOHN 15:1, 5 NIV).
The BRANCH represents the believers and the VINE represents Christ, the WORD. …I AM THE VINE AND YE ARE THE BRANCHES …” (JOHN 15:1, 5 NIV).
The VINE diffuses sap to the BRANCHES from the root (the SOURCE of its survival) to supply the necessary nourishment. “… The branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine ” (John 15:4 KJV).
Christ, the WORD, imparts the indwelling Holy Spirit to believers in order to supply spiritual nourishment from the root or SOURCE. “… The … HOLY SPIRIT … is the source of …[IT]…all. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).  “…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son (the WORD, which is Spirit) “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “… Christ (the WORD) be “IN” YOU … (Romans 8:10 KJV).
“… God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED according to his riches in glory [through the indwelling Spirit of] Christ Jesus…” (Philippians 4:19 KJV). “…Jesus Christ is in you ” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… God will generously PROVIDE all … [the supplies] … you need …” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT).
“… The … HOLY SPIRIT … is the source of …[IT]…all. …” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).  
The husbandman represents, God, the Father (the HOLY SPIRIT) and like a gardener, he takes care of the VINEYARD to ensure its fruitfulness. “… I AM THE VINE , AND MY FATHER IS THE HUSBANDMAN …” (JOHN 15:1, 5 NIV).
From the grape VINE you look for grapes, but from the redeemed BELIEVER you look for the fruit of the Spirit. “…He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit …” (John 15:5 KJV). “… The branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye , except ye abide in me …” (John 15:4 KJV).
To produce FRUIT or MORE fruit the BRANCHES must be pruned by the husbandman every now and then. “…Every branch that beareth fruit he purgeth it …” (John 15:2 KJV).
Natural pruning is equivalent to spiritual pruning, which is sanctification for the believer and enables them to produce fruit or MORE fruit. “…Every branch that beareth fruit he purgeth it , that it may bring forth more fruit …” (John 15:2 KJV).
A gardener uses special tools to prune the branches such as pruners, loppers, saws, or hedge shears. God uses the WORD. “… ye are CLEAN (pruned) through the WORD which I have spoken unto you …” (John 15:3 KJV).
Pruning is done for the sole purpose of encouraging healthy growth, more flowering, attractiveness, or more fruit. “every good tree bringeth forth good fruit ...” (Matthew 7:16-22 KJV).
The right TIME and the right SEASON is important for pruning also. “….To every [thing there is] a season, and A TIME to every purpose under the heaven…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV).  “…For the vision [is] yet FOR AN APPOINTED TIME….” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).
The Father, the husbandman for the believer, uses the WORD to prune believers. “… ye are CLEAN (pruned) through the WORD   (Jesus Christ, the atoning sacrifice for the remission (forgiveness) of sins)…” (John 15:3 KJV).
Pruning is done for the sole purpose of encouraging holiness and fruit bearing. “…Your fruit [will result] unto holiness (in being set apart and living free from sin) …” (Romans 6:22 KJV).
“…Before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ (his Word). This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious GRACE he has poured out on uswho belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and GRACE that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christwhich is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.  And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.   The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him (acknowledge his presence)…” (Ephesians 1:3-8 NLT).
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God chose you to be HOLY (set apart, free and totally separated from sin) and without fault in his eyes. “…ye shall be holy   (set apart, free from sin) unto me: for I the Lord (the word) am HOLY (set apart and free from sin) …” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV). “…he hath made us accepted in the beloved…” (Ephesians 1:6 KJV).
Pruning, for the believer, is equivalent to sanctification which is wroth by the cleansing power of the WORD of God. “…. “…SANCTIFY them in the truth; Your WORD is truth…” (JOHN 17:17 NASB).  “…God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation (a right relationship with God) through SANCTIFICATION  (cleansing of sin) by the [indwelling Holy] Spirit and faith in (dependency upon) the truth (God’s WORD)…” (2 Thessalonians 2:13 NASB).
BRANCHES produce fruit or MORE fruit by virtue of the UNION with the VINE and believers by UNION with CHRIST, the WORD. “…The branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine …” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
The UNION between the VINE and BRANCHES or between CHRIST, the WORD, and the BELIEVER is one of dependence. “ …Apart from Me, (Jesus, the Word) you can do nothing …” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
To break-up, disconnect, or separate from the UNION with CHRIST, the WORD, believers, by their OWN volition, move away from their SOURCE (ROOT) of spiritual nourishment. “…The branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me …” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
True believers, through Christian experience, learn that any interruption in the UNION with CHRIST, the WORD, will result in the decline of holiness (being set apart & free from sin) and fruitfulness. “… If a man abide NOT in me , he is cast forth … and is withered …” (John 15:6 KJV). “… H ave no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness …” (Ephesians 5:11 KJV).
"… You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men…” (Matthew 5:13 NASB).
Any interruption in the UNION with Christ, the WORD, will eventually lead to a state of uselessness and futility. “… he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered …” (John 15:6 KJV). "… You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless …It is no longer good for anything…” (Matthew 5:13 NASB).“…But if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. The farmer will soon condemn that field and burn it…” (Hebrews 6:4-8 NLT).
Withered or weakened branches are gathered together, cast into the fire, and burned. “…If a man abide NOT in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned …” (John 15:6 KJV). "… if the salt has become tasteless … It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out…” (Matthew 5:13 NASB). “…if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. …” (Hebrews 6:4-8 NLT).
It is the UNION with CHRIST, the WORD, that enables the BELIEVER to grow healthy, wholesome, holy, and fruitful. “…The branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine …” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
To REMAIN in the UNION with CHRIST, believers choose to live a life of dependency upon God by submitting to his instructions and pruning. “…Abide in Me, and I in you…” (John 15:4-6 NASB). “ …Apart from Me you can do nothing …” (John 15:4-6 NASB).
Christ is the example you are to imitate when it comes to being UNITED with God and exercising faith in or dependency upon Him. Jesus said, "…I and my Father are one …" (John 10:30 KJV). “… … [Jesus] … [en trust ed] himself to him who judges justly… ” (1 Peter 2:19-23 NIV).
Believers are UNITED with God through CHRIST and exercise FAITH or dependency upon HIM by hearing the Word. “… God’s Spiritdwells inyou? ...” (1 Corinthians 3:16 NASB). “… He that is joined (united) unto the LORD is ONE SPIRIT …” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “… [One of] the fruit of the Spirit is …faith…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…[The FRUIT of] Faith cometh by hearing … THE WORD of God…” (Roman 10:17 KJV). “…THY WORD is truth… (JOHN 17:17 KJV).
If the believer chooses to STAY in UNION with CHRIST God, will care for them, comfort them, supply their needs, impart spiritual blessings, never leave them, and love them forever. “... Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you ” (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).
“… Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comfort s us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by … our comfort is abundant through Christ .…” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NASB).
 “… God will generously provide all you need . Then you will always have everything you need …” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT). “… [he]…WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED ” (Philippians 4:13 KJV)
“…Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HATH blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ…” (Romans 1:3 KJV).
…God has said “ Never will I leave you ; never will I forsake you …” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). “… I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS , to the very end …"(Matthew 28:20 NIV).  “…Behold, I AM WITH… [YOU] and  … I WILL NOT LEAVE [YOU] ." (Genesis 28:15 ASV). The LORD thy God …will not fail (leave) thee, nor forsake thee ” (Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV).  “…Behold, I am with… [you ] and will keep… [you] whithersoever [you]… goest… I will not leave [you] ..." (Genesis 28:15 ASV).
“… [God has]... loved [you]...with an everlasting love….” (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV). “… I am the Lord, I change NOT… ” (Malachi 3:6 KJV).  “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 NIV).
If the believer CHOOSES “NOT” to STAY in UNION with God, through Christ, “they”CUT their own selves OFF from God’s care, God’s comfort, God’s supply of their needs, God’s spiritual blessings, God’s presence, and God’s love. “…. Apart from Me, you can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV).
Relational benefits stem from choosing to stay continually dependent upon the UNION with Christ, the WORD (THE SOURCE, ROOT). The believer is UNITED to God through Christ, the WORD, by continual faith or dependency upon the WORD. “…a person is made [and stays] right with God by faith in [or dependency upon) Jesus Christ (the word of God)…” (Galatians 2:16 NLT). “…. Apart from Me, you can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV).
Without willfully and voluntarily choosing to REMAIN dependent upon the UNION with Christ, the believer will weaken, wither, and become spiritually useless or “good for nothing.” (Jeremiah 13:10, Matthew 5:13 KJV). “…This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them and worship them, shall even be this girdle, which is GOOD FOR NOTHING …” (Jeremiah 13:10 KJV). “…Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth GOOD FOR NOTHING , but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men…” (Matthew 5:13 KJV).
“… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… The Lord is that Spirit …” too (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).  “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE… ” (John 3:6 NLT). “…God has sent forth the Spiritof His Son (the WORD) “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “…Jesus Christ (the WORD) is IN YOU ” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… the Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you …” (Romans 8:9 KJV).“…. SHORT BIBLE STUDY: WHAT WAS JESUS' OTHER NAME?


WHAT WAS JESUS’ OTHER NAME?
“… He (Jesus) had a name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God …” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). * SCRIPTURES:  “… He (Jesus) had a name written, that no man knew … his name is called The Word of God …” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
PURPOSE OR GOAL OF LESSON: TO LEARN HOW JESUS IS ACTUALLY THE LIVING WORD OF GOD THAT ACTIVATES ALL THE WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
APPLICATION OF LESSON: TO PRACTICE HEARING THE WORD OF GOD IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE HIS HOLY SPIRIT
TOPIC DISCUSSION: LEARNING THE POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD TO ACTIVATE THE HOLY SPIRIT. During this short bible study I ask you to ponder on what you are learning. I don’t want to simply give out information without first getting an understanding of how to apply what God has revealed, to me, to my own life. What is the point of knowing ANYTHING; if you don’t KNOW the ONE who is EVERYTHING! “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God .  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:7-8 ASV). The “WORD” is spirit and God is spirit; they are one and the same. “…the Word was God  … (John 1:1-4 NASB). GOD’S IS SPIRIT, THEREFORE, HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT. GOD’S WORD REVEAL EXACTLY“WHO” HE IS.I also LEARNED the WORD became “flesh” or a human vessel. “…. The Word became flesh” (John 1:14 NASB). However, I discovered, Jesus, the human vessel was flesh or human, but the WORDS he spoke were Spirit. "…That which is born of the flesh (human) is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit (of God) is Spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV). “… the flesh profiteth NOTHING …” (John 6:63 KJV). “…. JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, DEMONSTRATES that GOD’S WORD has the inherent POWER to do exceedingly GREAT WORKS. “… [ HE]... went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for  (HOW?) GOD[who is SPIRIT] WAS WITH HIM…” (Acts 10:38-39 KJV). “… he doeth the works …” (John 14:10 KJV).  JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, DEMONSTRATED NOTHING is too HARD for the CONFIRMING WORK, DONE, through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. “… [God] is able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). “…I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27 KJV). “… he doeth the works …” (John 14:10 KJV). JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD, demonstrated that things impossible for humans are POSSIBLE through the CONFIRMING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. “…The things which are impossible with men … [are] POSSIBLE [with God, who is SPIRIT] …” (Luke 18:27 KJV).  “… he doeth the works …” (John 14:10 KJV). “… THE WORDS … they ARE SPIRIT…”(John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… The Lord (Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God) is that Spirit …” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). . “I (Jesus the Word of God) and the father(God, who is Spirit) are one…” (John 10:30 KJV).   The “WORD” or JESUS is spirit and God is spirit; they are one and the same. “…the Word was God  …” (John 1:1-4 NASB). WHY CAN YOU TRUST GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART? HAS GOD GIVEN HIS PEOPLE SPECIAL PERMISSION TO USE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF HIS WORD? YES. “…God, who had given such authority to men …” (Matthew 9:8 NASB). “… Jesus (THE WORD) ….gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases…” (Luke 9:1 NASB). “… I (JESUS, THE WORD) have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you…” (Luke 10:19 NASB).  WHAT CAN YOU ASK GOD FOR IN HIS WORD? HOW CAN YOU BE EMPOWERED TO DO THE SAME THING JESUS DID? 7.    WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF GOD’S POWER, AUTHORITY, AND DISPLAY OF HIS WORKS? GOD, HIMSELF, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE OF HIS “OWN” POWER AND AUTHORITY “… The …HOLY SPIRIT …is the SOURCE of [POWER, AUTHORITY, DISPLAYS OF GOD’S POWERFUL WORKS]. … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “… Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him , as you yourselves know…”  (Acts 2:22 NIV). “… So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders  “ (Acts 14:3 NIV). “… [God’s people shall] serve as signs from the Lord …” (Isaiah 8:18 NLT).  “… The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power (and authority) THROUGH each of [them] … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). For instance, “… God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles …” (Acts 19:11 NLT).  …That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will…” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “…That great Shepherd of the sheep …work “IN US” what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. YES, THE HOLY SPIRIT, WORKS “IN” AND “THROUGH” HUMAN MOUTHPIECES. “… All scripture (The WORDS of God) is given by inspiration of God (MOVING of  HIS HOLY SPIRIT) …” (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV). HOW DOES GOD SPEAK THROUGH HUMAN MOUTHPIECES? GOD INSPIRES (OR MOVES) THEM TO SPEAK BY THE POWER OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT . They “…SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV). “…The prophecy (WORD OF GOD) came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God SPAKE as they were… MOVED BY THE HOLY [SPIRIT]…” (2 Peter 1:21 KJV). ...There are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work in and through all of us who are his … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “…the [HOLY] SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “ …It is God which worketh IN YOU both to will and to do of his good pleasure…” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).  “…That great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will , and may he work “IN US” what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ ” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NIV). “… the Father doeth the works …” (John 14:10 KJV).

8.    God’s WORD “IS” SPIRIT. God’s WORD is HOLY. God’s WORD is POWER. God’s WORD has AUTHORITY. God’s WORD SAVES. God’s WORD transforms lives. God’s WORD is TRUSTWORTHY. God’s WORD will NOT disappoint you. God’s WORD enlightens you with revelatory knowledge of who God is. God’s WORD is NOT limited to versions, translations, or languages. God’s WORD is ALIVE. God’s WORD is ACTIVE. WHAT WAS JESUS’ OTHER NAME? THE WORD OF GOD. “… his name (Jesus’ name) is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). WHEN JESUS SPOKE WAS HIS WORDS HUMAN OR SPIRIT? THEY WERE SPIRIT. WHY OR WHY NOT? BECAUSE HE WAS SPEAKING GOD’S WORD AND GOD IS SPIRIT. “… THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT…” (John 6:63 KJV). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). The “WORD” is spirit and God is spirit; they are one and the same. “…the Word was God  … (John 1:1-4 NASB). “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). WHERE DOES GOD PUT HIS SPIRIT AFTER YOU ARE SAVED? WITHIN YOU. “…God … sent forth the Spirit of His Son (the WORD of God) “INTO” [Y]OUR HEARTS…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). DOES THAT MEAN THE WORD of god IS IN YOU? IT MEANS THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT IS ACTUALLY “IN” YOU AND YOU ARE “ONE” WITH GOD. “…Jesus Christ (the Word of God) is in you ” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… The [Holy] Spirit of God dwell[s] inyou …” (Romans 8:9 KJV).  “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “…[the WORD] is that Spirit [too]…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). The “WORD” is spirit and God is spirit; they are one and the same. “…the Word [is] ... God  … (John 1:1-4 NASB). WHEN GOD’S SPIRIT IS IN YOU CAN HE WORK “IN” AND “THROUGH” TO SPEAK HIS WORD? YES, GOD, THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT, WILL DO THE SPEAKING. “ …God (is Spirit & his Words; they are Spirit and HE)… works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose…” (Philippians 2:13 NIV). “…. Apart from Me (Jesus, the WORD of God), you can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV). WHO IS DOING THE WORK OF SPEAKING THROUGH YOU? THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT. “… he ( the  indwelling Holy Spirit ) doeth the works [IN and THROUGH you] …” (John 14:10 KJV).  THE indwelling HOLY SPIRIT… is able TO DO exceeding abundantly ABOVE all that we ask orthink” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV). GOD REVEALS HIMSELF TO YOU. GOD CONFIRMS HIS WORD TO YOU BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHY DOES GOD DO THESE THINGS FOR? BECAUSE HE WANTS “YOU” TO KNOW HE IS, PERSONALLY, THE LORD, “YOUR” GOD. “….Then you will know that [he is] the Lordyour God …’” (Exodus 16:12 NLT). “… [God has] done so many miracles before [you] ….” (John 12:37-40 NLT). “… [He has] done [those miracles through HIS WORD] … so you will know that [He is] the Lord [your god]…” (Exodus 10:1-2 NLT). “….In [the miracles he has done through HIS WORD], [You] shalt know that [GOD IS] the Lord...” (READ Exodus 7:14-25). “… Your rock and Your fortress, your deliverer , Your GOD , Your rock , in whom [you can] … take refuge; Your shield and the horn of Your salvation , YOUR stronghold .…" (Psalms 18:3 NASB).  _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A "TRUE EVANGELICAL" IS GIVEN BY GOD AND NOT ELECTED BY HUMANS


                                          A TRUE EVANGELICALS IS GIVEN BY GOD AND NOT ELECTED BY MANKIND
“…So Christ himself GAVE the apostles, the prophets, the EVANGELISTS, the pastors and teachers,…” (EPHESIANS 4:11 NIV).
* An evangelical is someone who has been called to the office of an evangelist. An evangelist is a devoted and faithful follower of Christ who shares and promotes the good news of the gospel.
Evangelicals or evangelists are NOT limited to or bound to “right wing” fundamental republican ideologies. An evangelical is meant to be a term that defines individuals who strictly adhere to the core principles, values, or doctrines of Jesus Christ ABOVE ALL ELSE.
An evangelical is a believer who walks by the authority of the Holy Scriptures. They are usually living witnesses because of their dedication to Jesus and the Word of God. They are LED, first and foremost, by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
The office of an evangelist is a HIGH calling and some people feel ALL Christians should be similar to evangelicals. All Christians should be devoted to God through Christ and walk by the authority of the Holy Scriptures. In addition, they also should be LED by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Being an evangelist has NOTHING to do with politics or party affiliations, but it is ALL about sharing and promoting the good news of the gospel.
An evangelist’s most important task is setting an example of purity, holiness, integrity, and Christlikeness in regard to the CHRISTian Faith.
An evangelist will or would NOT entangle themselves in the many affairs of life or abandon their calling for other pursuits, but maintains a lifestyle of focusing on, sharing, and promoting the gospel of salvation WHEREVER they are positioned. “…keep your head in ALL SITUATIONS, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry….” (2 Timothy 4:5 NLT). “… No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life , so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier…” (2 Timothy 2:4 NASB).
Basically, an evangelist is a messenger from God, who is especially sent to preach, announce, teach, or proclaim the GOOD news of the gospel everywhere he or she is sent or goes. “…So Christ himself gave the evangelists…” (Ephesians 4:11 NIV). “… do the work of an evangelist….” (2 Timothy 4:5 NLT).
The purpose of an evangelist is to reconcile unconverted sinners into a relationship with God through Christ by preaching the word in season or out of season. “…PREACH the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction…” (2 Timothy 4:2 NIV).
Jesus Christ was the first evangelist and preached the message of Good News. “…And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to PREACH the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to PREACH deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To PREACH the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, THIS DAY is this scripture fulfilled in your ears” (John 4:16-21 KJV).
In fact, Jesus, himself, WAS the good news or the message. “…he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him …” (Hebrew 5:7-8-9 KJV). “Jesus saith…I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6 KJV). “….the gospel of Christ …. is the power of God unto SALVATION TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH…” (Romans 1:16 KJV). “… There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE ” (Acts 4:12a NLT).
An evangelist is one of God’s mouthpieces for proclaiming the good news and pointing mankind to the WAY of salvation. “Jesus saith…I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6 KJV).“… There is SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE ” (Acts 4:12a NLT).
Philip was an evangelist. “…Leaving the next day, we reached Caesarea and stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist, one of the Seven…” (Acts 21:8 NIV). What are the traits of an evangelist?  
Evangelists preach the word no matter what’s going on around them. They are God's WITNESSES through their SPEECH and CONDUCT. They perform miracles, deliver the demon possessed, and heal the sick. They bring JOY to a place. “…Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. When the crowds heard Philip and SAW the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he SAID. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.So there was great JOY in that city…” (Acts 8:1-8 NIV).
An evangelist wins souls. “…Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great,and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.”They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw…” (Acts 8:9-14 NIV).
An evangelist is obedient and goes wherever God sends him or her. An evangelist explains the word of God to others and leads people to salvation. An evangelist can also baptize new converts. “…Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet .The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading: “He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. In his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth.”The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea…” (Acts 8:26-40 NIV).
“…So Christ himself gave the evangelists ,…” (EPHESIANS 4:11 NIV). “… Now God GIVES US many kinds of special abilitie s, but it is the same HOLY SPIRIT who is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service to God, but it is the same Lord we are serving. There are many ways in which God works in our lives, but it is the same God who does the work IN and THROUGH all of us who are his. The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us as a means of HELPING the entire church.  … He gives power …to prophesy and PREACH. He gives someone else the power to know …whether it is really the Spirit of God who is speaking… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
On one hand, every Christian should have some traits of an evangelist since all believers have been called to the ministry of reconciliation by presenting the good news to others. “…God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. ” (2 Corinthians 5:18 NIV). “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation…” (Mark 16:15 NIV).
On the other hand, “…Christ himself gave the evangelists ,…” (EPHESIANS 4:11 NIV). An evangelist will have special empowerment for evangelizing and all the supernatural gifts that office requires.“… Now God GIVES US many kinds of special abilitie s ….The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power THROUGH each of us as a means of HELPING the entire church.  … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
An evangelist may be considered radical to many, but his or her main goal in life is to proclaim the gospel of salvation.
Most evangelists will not preach or teach without giving an invitation to receive Christ as Savior. Sharing the gospel with conviction and clarity is second nature to an evangelist and they are always communicating the good news wherever they go.
Some people believe it is, mostly, evangelicals that start new churches, run traditional revivals, lead the discipleship programs, are guest speakers at various churches both national and internationally, and work on the streets.
So if you feel lead by the Spirit, “… do the work of an evangelist….” (2 Timothy 4:5 NLT). “… PREACH the word; be prepared in season and out of season ; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction…” (2 Timothy 4:2 NIV).
In order to take Christianity back, evangelicals need to be restored to their God-given place and activities within the church. An evangelical can EASILY be recognized! “… Ye shall know them by their fruits …” (Matthew 7:16 KJV).“… God ...the … HOLY SPIRIT .. is the SOURCE of ...[spiritual fruit] it is …God who does the work IN and THROUGH all of ...[including evangelicals]... The HOLY SPIRIT DISPLAYS God’s power (to produce spiritual fruit in and through evangelicals or) THROUGH each of us … (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). “… the Father that dwelleth in [evangelicals] … he doeth the works..[of producing “their” spiritual fruit] …” (John 14:10 KJV). “… The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…” (Galatians 5:22 NLT). God, the Holy Spirit ensures TRUE EVANGELICALS are spiritually fruitful, FIRST and FOREMOST.All believers should KNOW a TRUE EVANGELICAL when they SEE their CONDUCT and hear the WORDS!It is OKAY to FOLLOW those who are FOLLOWING Jesus Christ! Ye will KNOW them by their SPIRITUAL FRUIT!
