HOW THE CRUCIFIED SINFUL NATURE USES YOUR CRAVINGS AND APPETITES!

                        
THE SINFUL NATURE: CONDITIONED APPETITES, CRAVINGS, AND DESIRES #1

“…I want to do what is right, but I can’t . I want to do what is good, but I don’t…. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway . …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“… Who will free me from this life that is dominated by SIN? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (the WORD OF GOD)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “…if the Son (Jesus Christ, the indwelling Holy Spirit)…shall make you FREE, ye shall be FREE indeed.” (John 8:36 KJV).
“... Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin...” (Romans 6:6 KJV).
“... I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me...” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).

CRAVINGS and APPETITES are empowered by DESIRES or something the body of flesh(sinful nature) longs for, lusts after, has a passion for, yearns, or has a hunger for.
What is a CRAVING? A craving is a POWERFUL and sometime “out of control” desire for something or someone.
What is an APPETITE? An appetite is the DESIRE to EAT or CONSUME something. An APPETITE to consume something is stimulated when something APPEALS to one’s DESIRES or CRAVINGS and they can POWERFULLY motivate a person’s BEHAVIOR to DO what is necessary to SATISFY its demands.
The body of flesh and the FIVE SENSES were created to SERVE the SOUL, in a healthy manner, and help the soul engage, interact, and experience hunger and appetite in a way that regulates their ENERGY INTAKE for METABOLIC purposes only.
HUNGER was meant to be a PHYSICAL need for food to nourish the body of flesh and keep it energized and healthy. APPETITE was originally created to provide an healthy DESIRE for or motivation toward FOOD, through one or more of the FIVE SENSES, and empower the behavior necessary to go get it.
HUNGER and APPETITE were created “GOOD” and were meant to work together to help KEEP the body of flesh properly fueled and healthy for the SOUL’S usage.
HUNGER was a God-given need for food and APPETITE was the God-given desirefor food. When “…God saw everything he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
The healthy “desire” for food (appetite) was meant to motive healthy behavior to consume food (hunger) necessary to maintain a healthy body of flesh.
God created GOOD and HEALTHY food for mankind from the beginning of creation. “... I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat...it was VERY GOOD...” (Genesis 1:29, 31a KJV).
The DESIRE for food comes THROUGH one or more of the FIVE SENSES. For example, the SOUL engages in EATING when it SMELLS certain foods and/or SEES certain foods.
The DESIRE for food, when the body of flesh SMELLS or SEES certain FOODS can become a CONDITIONED response that motivates behavior.
A CONDITIONED response is LEARNED through associations between something in the environment and natural responses to hunger realized through appetite.
The smell of certain foods or the sight of certain foods is associated or paired with “natural” hunger and appetite in order to motivate behavior necessary to satisfy the need to consume something.
The presentation of healthy FOOD was meant to naturally trigger a healthy hunger and appetite to motivate the appropriate behavior to seek after necessary nourishment for the body of flesh.
However, the world is under the power of the EVIL ONE, and the EVIL ONE’s presentation of UNHEALTHY FOODS is meant to unnaturally trigger unhealthy hungers and appetites to motivate inappropriate behavior to seek after food NOT necessary for the body of flesh . (READ THIS PARAGRAPH AGAIN).
The SMELL of certain, unhealthy foods and the SIGHT of certain, unhealthy foods NOW motivate behavior to satisfy those unnatural hungers and appetites.
For example, after years of routine learning,  active engagement, constant exposure, and overindulgence, the SMELL and SIGHT of certain UNHEALTHY foods begin to TRIGGER unnatural hunger and appetite that will motivate the behavior to GO after those things!
The CONDITIONED response to the smell and sight of certain UNHEALTHY FOODS become established and strengthen over years and years of engagement and can easily trigger unhealthy hunger and appetite patterns to motivate unnatural behaviors to seek after those foods.
The original God-given and natural HUNGER and APPETITE totally disappears and becomes dysfunctional. The learned HUNGER and APPETITE, in the world under the power of the EVIL ONE, becomes the FAMILIAR and CONDITIONED response to the SMELL and SIGHT of certain FOODS.Most people "don't" know what it's like to experience "natural" hunger anymore.
HUNGER and APPETITE linked together will MOTIVATE a person’s behavior to TAKE ACTION necessary to SATISFY the NEED (real or conditioned) for FOOD.
It is HUNGER and APPETITE that the EVIL ONE perverts and uses to MOTIVATE sinful behavior and influence one to TAKE ACTION to SATISFY the NEED (real or imagined), whatever IT IS.
UNDER the POWER of the EVIL ONE, HUNGER is PERVERTED to satisfy the PHYSICAL body of flesh and its MANY sinful CRAVINGS. APPETITE is also PERVERTED to DESIRE to CONSUME the MANY sinful CRAVINGS using one or more of the FIVE SENSES.
When UNDER the power of the EVIL ONE, the body of flesh engages in consuming many things in the natural world by SMELLING them, or SEEING them, TASTING them, HEARING about them, or TOUCHING them.
While the body is ENGAGED, or INTERACTING or EXPERIENCING the consumption of sinful things within the natural world, through the FIVE SENSES, the SOUL is learning something about what they are doing.
Whatever the SOUL is learning, through the body of flesh and one or more of the FIVE SENSES, it SENDS that INFORMATION to the heart (brain), to inform the thoughts in order to IMPACT and INFLUENCE behavior.
God created the heart (brain) to be the information center to help the soul observe, perceive, learn, experience, and make decisions about "HIS" CREATED WORLD.
INITIALLY, the body of flesh, through the FIVE SENSES, helped the SOUL engage, interact, and experience God’s “GOOD” created world. For example, SIGHThelped with visual learning. HEARING helped with associating different sounds. TASTE helped with learning to discriminate one preferable thing from another. SMELL helped by providing memories. TOUCH helped with experimental learning.
In the BEGINNING ALL of mankind’s FIVE SENSES were influenced by GOD’S GOOD CREATED WORLD. “….God saw every thing he had made… [he said], it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
AFTER THE FALL, the body of flesh, through the FIVE SENSES, continued to help the SOUL engage, interact, and experience the natural world, but NOW it was UNDER the power of the EVIL ONE. SIGHT “STILL” helped with visual learning. HEARING  “STILL” helped with associating different sounds. TASTE “STILL” helped with learning to discriminate one preferable thing from another. SMELL“STILL” helped by providing memories. TOUCH “STILL” helped with experimental learning.
The original God-given body of flesh and  its healthy FIVE SENSES totally disappears by becoming dysfunctional under the power of the EVIL ONE. What the body of flesh and its five senses learn, in the world, under the power of the EVIL ONE, becomes the FAMILIAR and CONDITIONED responses to the natural world.THIS IS A POWERFUL TRUTH!
NOW all of mankind’s FIVE SENSES are influenced by A WORLD under the POWER of the EVIL ONE.  “...We know … that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV). “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).
The body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES (now perverted and dysfunctional) become CONTROLLED by the EVIL ONE. The EVIL ONE is able to continue to control the behavior of the redeemed - long after the body of flesh is dead and crucified - through the CONDITIONED, COGNITIVE affect HE has LEFT within the heart and MIND.
The redeemed STILL blame the body of flesh, which is crucified and doesn’t recognize they are being controlled, manipulated, and forced to continue to do things they don’t want to do, because the EVIL ONE is influencing their BEHAVIOR through the untransformed MIND. The untransformed MIND has been CONDITIONED to response to the EVIL ONE’s dictates (DEMANDS).Nobody likes to be controlled, manipulated, or forced to do something, so the EVIL ONE, through their “own” untransformed MINDS, "STILL" influences the redeemed to fall prey to his tactics and make them think its them.
The untransformed MIND has been brainwashed by the EVIL one. The EVIL ONE used WORLDLY and CARNAL influences every minute, second, hour, day, week, and year to gain, sustain, or maintain control of mankind by dictating their beliefs, attitudes, personalities, identities, etc., by conditioning behavior.
The EVIL ONE changes and conditions mankind’s behavior in order to totally eradicate any image or likeness of God, the Holy Spirit.
Everything, in the world and UNDER the power of the EVIL ONE is used to PERSUADE and REFORM mankind’s THINKING or MINDSET toward SIN.
This persuasion can be OVERT or COVERT. But, nevertheless, EVERYTHING “IN” the world is designed to educate, affect, influence, and condition mankind toward a CARNAL mindset.
This PERSUASION is what is called BRAINWASHING, where EVERYTHING in the WORLD, combined together, is meant to SEVERELY influence the WAY mankind THINKS.
This BRAINWASHING is DONE without mankind’s consent and without the permission of mankind’s human will. “...We know … that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The EVIL ONE’S brainwashing techniques INVADE every fiber of mankind’s THINKING and proves the WHOLE WORLD is UNDER his EVIL power. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
EVERYTHING in the world and under the EVIL ONE’s power is designed to ISOLATE mankind from God’s TRUTH to ensure they ONLY follow after HIM and his EVIL WAYS.
The reason the EVIL ONE isolates mankind from God’s TRUTH is to REMAIN in COMPLETE CONTROL over HIS or HER SOUL. The EVIL ONE wants to CONTROL everything that the SOUL does, through the body of flesh and its dictates (perverted FIVE SENSES).
This CONTROL includes what and how they eat, how they love, how they engage with the opposite or same sex, how they interact with other people, their identities, their appetites, their orientations, their choices, or how they experience all aspects of life.
The EVIL ONE uses the natural WORLD to systematically KILL, STEAL, and DESTROY mankind’s original image as a “LIVING SOUL” until he or she doesn’t even remember or care that they were once a “LIVING SOUL.”
The EVIL ONE replaces their original identity with HIS evil set of VALUES that will guide their behavior toward sin. The EVIL ONE also establishes another identity for mankind, which comes through the sinful nature, and is CHRONICALLY influenced or conditioned by the EVIL ONE’S carnal environments.
The EVIL ONE’S brainwashing is DONE through MIND conditioning and CONTROL which is a POWERFUL and effective WAY to GAIN influence over the lost soul.
When a person BECOMES a NEW CREATION in Christ, it DESTROYS the EVIL ONE’s brainwashing process. The OLD identity through the body of flesh (sinful nature) and it dictates (perverted FIVE SENSES) is OVER.
However, in order to STOP being affected and influenced by the OLD IDENTITY a redeemed person CHOOSES to renew their MINDS, which ERADICATES the brainwashing process from the HEART and MIND conditioned by the EVIL ONE.
In psychological terms the conditioned responses influenced by the EVIL ONE can be extinguished when they are NO LONGER reinforced.
When HUNGER and APPETITE is no longer motivated by the SMELLS of unhealthy food or the SIGHT of unhealthy food they can be restored to health and wholeness.
The EVIL ONE uses the FIVE SENSES of mankind, like the serpent did Eve in the garden, to gain control OVER the SOUL. The FIVE SENSES are powerful SOURCES to motivate BEHAVIOR. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the EYES and FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE, experience)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take, human will] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave (influenced someone else) some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
One or more of the FIVE SENSES motivated Eve to BEHAVE in the WAY the serpent WANTED her to. Eve DID exactly what the SERPENT wanted her to DO by ENTICING and MANIPULATING one or more of her FIVE SENSES.
The EVIL ONE (the serpent) ENTICED, DECEIVED, MANIPULATED, INFLUENCED, and CONNED the women through one or more of her FIVE SENSES. He tricked her into DOING exactly what he WANTED her TO DO. The EVIL ONE understands the body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES were NOT created to FOLLOW AFTER GOD; it never could and it never would. “... the sinful nature ... never did obey (follow after) God’s laws, and it never will . (FOLLOW AFTER GOD’S HOLY LAW)...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).THE SINFUL NATURE IS A "PERFECT' DISCIPLE FOR THE EVIL ONE!
The EVIL ONE ALSO knew the SOUL would have NO POWER over the body of flesh WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit. “… Apart from [the Holy Spirit]… [mankind cannot]... do nothing [they cannot have power over the body of flesh] …” (John 15:5 NIV).
The EVIL ONE knew he could use the body of flesh to engage one or more of the FIVE SENSES and manipulate EVE into “eating the apple” by using her human will. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] IT (the information put into heart, informed her mind, which directed her behavior) ... Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
The EVIL ONE used Eve’s body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES to gain control of her MIND and thus her behavior. God, the Holy Spirit, GAVE mankind (Adam and Eve) one HOLY instruction:   “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
The EVIL ONE’S manipulation and DECEIT was intentional, because he KNEW, without the indwelling Holy Spirit, he could take POWER of the natural world from Adam and Eve. “... God blessed them and said to them, “... Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it ...RULE OVER (have dominion over).... Then God said, “ I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it . They will be yours for food ... And it was so ...” (Genesis 1:28-31 KJV). “…. Apart from [the indwelling Holy Spirit]…YOU CAN DO NOTHING …” (John 15:5 NIV).  
When Adam and Eve FOLLOWED AFTER the EVIL ONE through the body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES, they became HIS SERVANTS and everything they had became his.  “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).  “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
A slave owns nothing, because EVERYTHING they have belongs to their DICTATOR OR MASTER and he USES all their possessions as he pleases.
The EVIL ONE’s techniques are always DECEITFUL. He is a LIAR. He has used his lies upon mankind from the beginning by entangling the body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES into a “yoke of bondage.” Now ALL OF MANKIND HAS BECOME BRAINWASHEDand CONDITIONED by “HIS” lies, HIS WORLDLY INFLUENCES. and HIS SINFUL BEHAVIORS. “… He was a murderer from the beginning (he KILLED the relationship between God and mankind) … for he is a liar and the father of lies … (The EVIL ONE lied in order to separate mankind from God)…” (John 8:44 NASB).
Let’s take a LOOK:
GOD SAID: “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
The EVIL ONE “lied” and SAID: “… ye shall not surely die. …” (Genesis 3:4-5 KJV). HE LIED, BECAUSE THEY DIED SPIRITUALLY, IMMEDIATELY!
THE WOMAN WAS CONVINCED BY THE EVIL ONE: “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the EYES and FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
Mankind was LEFT with the body of flesh and was demoted to servanthood under the power of the EVIL ONE. The indwelling Holy Spirit of LOVE, GOODNESS, POWER, PEACE, and HOLINESS departed from the SOUL. “… [Their]... INIQUITIES (sin) ....separated (divided them)... [from their] God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). .  “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey (follow after), his servants ye are to whom ye obey (follow after); whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).  “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
 PAY ATTENTION: The body of flesh is DEAD and CRUCIFIED, but the COGNITIVE AFFECT, it had, upon the HEART and MIND is NOT! THUS, THE "MIND" NEEDS TO BE RENEWED!
Here are some suggestions in order to remove and STOP the evil one’s brainwashing influence: 1. The redeemed CHOOSES to follow God’s instruction about renewing their hearts and minds in order to REMOVE and STOP the continual brainwashing influence of the EVIL ONE. “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….”(Romans 12:2 KJV). 2. The redeemed CHOOSES to follow God’s instruction about fellowshipping in order to surround themselves with like-minded people. “...And let us not neglect our meeting together , as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near...” (Hebrews 10:25 NLT).  “... Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together , as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching...” (Hebrews 10:25 KJV). 3. The redeemed chooses to follow God’s instructions by trusting and depending upon the indwelling Holy Spirit to empower them to walk and live in their new freedom. “…God ...does the work IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). 4.The redeemed chooses to follow God’s instructions to pray and spend time (abide) with God, the Holy Spirit. “… abide in me, and I in you …” (John 15:4 KJV). GOD IS, “.. A Light of revelation...” (LUKE 2:32 NASB). “... that they might know [have intimate, revelation knowledge of] thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ ...” (John 17:3 KJV). 5. The redeemed choose to follow God’s instructions by becoming aware of their new identity as a NEW CREATIONS in Christ. “…Therefore if any man (woman) be in Christ, he (she) is a NEW creature …” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “...For in him we live, and move, and have our being (identity); as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring...” (Acts 17:28 KJV). 6. The redeemed choose to follow God’s instructions to transform, conform, and become renewed in their mind. God knew long after, the body of flesh is DEAD and CRUCIFIED, it would be necessary, for the redeemed, to process through ridding themselves of the influences the old nature had upon the HEART and MIND. “…Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). “…beconformed to the image of his Son…” (ROMANS 8:29 KJV). STOP ALLOWING THE CRUCIFIED, SINFUL NATURE USE YOUR CRAVINGS AND APPETITES TO DISOBEY GOD'S HOLY COMMANDMENTS!“…the willof God (his heart’s desire, his choice, what he wants, etc.), [is]…your SANCTIFICATION …” (1 Thessalonians 4:3 NASB).  “ ... in the PROCESS of TIME “IT” CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV).

WHAT IS THE STRUGGLE BEHIND RENEWING YOUR MIND?

THE SINFUL NATURE: IS DEAD, SO THE STRUGGLE IS ALL IN YOUR MIND

 “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).

The EVIL ONE uses the WORLD to systematically KILL and DESTROY mankind’s original identity as a “LIVING SOUL” until he or she doesn’t even remember or care that they were a “LIVING SOUL.” He replaces their original identity with HIS set of VALUES and establishes another identity through the sin nature, which is CHRONICALLY encouraged by the EVIL ONE’S worldly and carnal environments.
The EVIL ONE’S brainwashing is DONE through MIND coercion, clever and masterful manipulations, and CONTROL which is a POWERFUL and effective WAY to GAIN influence over mankind.
When a person BECOMES a NEW CREATION in Christ, it CRUCIFIES the EVIL ONE’s brainwashing process. The OLD identity through the body of flesh and it dictates is OVER. However, in order to STOP being affected and influenced by the OLD IDENTITY the person CHOOSES to renew their MINDS in order to ERADICATE the brainwashing process DONE by the EVIL ONE through the heart.
The EVIL ONE used the FIVE SENSES, like the serpent did Eve in the garden, to gain control of the SOUL. The FIVE SENSES are powerful SOURCES to motivate BEHAVIOR. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the EYES) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). One or more of the FIVE SENSES motivated Eve to BEHAVE in the WAY the serpent WANTED her to. Eve DID exactly what the SERPENT wanted her to DO by ENTICING and MANIPULATING one or more of her FIVE SENSES.
The EVIL ONE (the serpent) ENTICED, MANIPULATED, INFLUENCED, and COERCED one or more of Eve’s FIVE SENSES deceiving her into DOING what he WANTED her TO DO. The EVIL ONE understands the body of flesh (SINFUL NATURE) and its FIVE SENSES (dictates) were NOT created to FOLLOW AFTER GOD; it never could and it never would. “... the sinful nature ... never did obey  (follow after) God’s laws, and it never will . (FOLLOW AFTER GOD’S HOLY LAW)..” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).
The EVIL ONE ALSO knew the SOUL would have NO POWER over the body of flesh (SINFUL NATURE) WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit. The EVIL ONE knew he could use the body of flesh to engage one or more of the FIVE SENSES and coerce EVE into “eating the apple” with very little effort. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] IT (the information put into heart, informed her mind, which directed her behavior) ... Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
The EVIL ONE used Eve’s body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES to gain control of her MIND and thus her behavior. God, the Holy Spirit, GAVE mankind (Adam and Eve) one HOLY instruction:   “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
The EVIL ONE’S manipulation and influence was intentional, because he KNEW, without the indwelling Holy Spirit, he could take POWER of the natural world from Adam and Eve by making them HIS slaves. “…. Apart from [the indwelling Holy Spirit]…YOU CAN DO NOTHING …” (John 15:5 NIV).  “... God blessed them and said to them, “... Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it ...RULE OVER (have dominion over).... Then God said, “ I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it . They will be yours for food ... And it was so ...” (Genesis 1:28-31 KJV). “…the body without (apart from) the spirit is dead…” (James 2:26 KJV).
When Adam and Eve FOLLOWED AFTER the EVIL ONE through the body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES, they became HIS SERVANTS and everything they had been given was now THE DEVIL'S to do as he pleased.  “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).  “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The EVIL ONE’s techniques were and are DECEITFUL. He is a LIAR, and he has used his lies upon mankind, since the beginning of time, by using the body of flesh and its FIVE SENSES. Now ALL OF MANKIND has BECOME BRAINWASHED and SHAPED by “HIS” LIES, HIS WORLDLY INFLUENCES and HIS SINFUL BEHAVIORS. “… He was a murderer from the beginning … for he is a liar and the father of lies …” (John 8:44 NASB).
GOD SAID: “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
The EVIL ONE SAID: “… ye shall not surely die. …” (Genesis 3:4-5 KJV). HE LIED, BECAUSE THEY DIED SPIRITUALLY, IMMEDIATELY!
THE WOMAN WAS CONVINCED BY THE EVIL ONE: “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
Mankind was LEFT with a body of flesh (sinful nature), totally, under the power of the EVIL ONE and the indwelling Holy Spirit of LOVE, GOODNESS, POWER, PEACE, and HOLINESS departed from the SOUL. “… [Their]... INIQUITIES (sin) ....separated (divided them)... be [from their] God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). .  “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey (follow after), his servants ye are to whom ye obey (follow after); whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).  “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
You are SAVED and the body of flesh is DEAD and CRUCIFIED, but the influence, it had, upon the HEART and MIND is NOT! Here are some suggestions in order to remove and STOP the evil one’s brainwashing influence: 1.  The redeemed CHOOSES to renew their OWN hearts and minds in order to REMOVE and STOP the continual brainwashing influence of the EVIL ONE. “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind….”(Romans 12:2 KJV). 2. The redeemed CHOOSES to fellowship in order to surround themselves with like-minded people. “...And let us not neglect our meeting together , as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near...” (Hebrews 10:25 NLT).  “... Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together , as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching...” (Hebrews 10:25 KJV). 3.The redeemed chooses to trust and depend upon the indwelling Holy Spirit to walk and live in their new freedom. “…God ...does the work IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT). 4.The redeemed chooses to pray and spend time with God, the Holy Spirit. “….call upon me …and pray unto me and I will [LISTEN] unto you…” (Jeremiah 29:12-13 KJV). “...I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you . ..” (Hosea 14:5-9 NASB).“…Abide in Me, and I in you …” (John 15:4-6 NASB). 5. The redeemed chooses to see themselves through their new identity as a NEW CREATION in Christ. “…Therefore if any man (woman) be in Christ, he is a NEW creature …” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “...For in him we live, and move, and have our being (identity); as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring...” (Acts 17:28 KJV). 6. The redeemed chooses to accept it is time to transform, conform, and become renewed in their mind, because long after, the body of flesh is DEAD and CRUCIFIED, it is normal to process through ridding oneself of the influences the old nature had upon the MIND. “…Be transformedby the renewing of your mind….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). “…beconformed to the image of his Son…” (ROMANS 8:29 KJV). “…the willof God (his heart’s desire, his choice, what he wants, etc.), [is]…your SANCTIFICATION …” (1 Thessalonians 4:3 NASB).  “ ... in the PROCESS of TIME “IT” CAME TO PASS…” (Genesis 4:3 KJV).
It is time to develop and grow spiritually and the redeemed MIND must be transformed in order for the indwelling Spirit to influence the choice of behavior.
“… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).
The EVIL ONE will gladly continue to DICTATE the behavioral choices of the REDEEMED. While the indwelling Holy Spirit wants to INSPIRE the redeemed to freely CHOOSE righteous behavior, the unrenewed mind becomes a conflict. Therefore, the MIND must become transformed by RENEWING it through the WORD of God.
“… His name (Jesus) is called The Word of God …” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB).
“... [Jesus, the Word] ... opened their minds to understand the Scriptures ...” (Luke 24:45 NLT).
“… All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works…” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV).
“... Let the Spirit (the Word, scriptures, etc.) renew your thoughts and attitudes...” (Ephesians 4:23 NLT).
“… THE WORDS (scripture) THAT I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT …” (John 6:63 KJV).
All human behavior is decided and determined by the instructions of the MIND which is informed by the heart. The MIND is LINKED with and influenced by the information within the HEART. “... from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder...” (Mark 7:21 NLT).
The untransformed THOUGHTS in the mind that direct behavior come from the information sent from the HEART. VICTORY over the sinful nature, therefore, comes through the transformed mind that is RENEWED by the POWERFUL Word of God.
If the MIND is “not” transformed, by renewal, then the redeemed will NOT be ABLE to put demands upon the cognitive affects leftover from the sinful nature. They will NOT be empowered to produce spiritual fruit, or display God’s indwelling power.
The untransformed MIND will continue to be influenced by the body of flesh, which is dead along with its dictates. Thus sinful behavior continues and reigns in the life of the redeemed.  The EVIL ONE gladly continues to coerce and control the redeemed through his TRIGGERS and INFLUENCES, embedded in the natural world. Thus, the redeemed won’t be able to overcome “certain” entrenching sinful behaviors.
The EVIL ONE deceitfully and cleverly devised the survival of sinful behavior, even after the death and crucifixion of the body of flesh (sinful nature). By developing automatic behaviors in the HEARTS and MINDS of the redeemed, they continue to DO WRONG long after the death and crucifixion of the body of flesh (sinful nature). The EVIL ONE can “still,” DICTATE - through the triggers, enticements, and influences of the natural WORLD - sinful behaviors that have been deeply established within the HEARTS and MINDS, of the redeemed, from long-term practice.
The way given to the redeemed, by God, to break the bondage of automatic sinful behaviors, established from long-term practice, is to renew your mind. The mind is informed by all that’s in the heart, which includes a lifetime of evil thoughts. “ … For out of the HEART come EVIL THOUGHTS—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander…” (Matthew 15:18-19 NIV). Therefore, the untransformed mind, before Christ, is basically an instrument of evil.
The bible says, “…as he [or she] thinketh in his [or her] heart, so is he [or she]…” (PROVERBS 23:7 KJV). What this verse is saying is that thoughts in the mind come from the heart to influence the choice of behavior.  Thus “…thinketh IN his (her) heart…”We’ve always understood that thoughts are associated with the mind, but fail to see they COME from the heart. The thoughts are IN the heart , FIRST. The HEART supplies the thoughts to the MIND. “….. out of the HEART come EVIL THOUGHTS —murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander…” (Matthew 15:18-19 NIV). The thoughts, delivered to your mind, come FROM the heart.
The mind, after salvation in Christ, is to become an instrument of righteousness informed by the WORD of GOD, which is NOW planted in the heart like a seed.  “… … THE WORD …was sown in THEIR HEARTS…” (Mark 4:14-15 & Luke 8:11 KJV). “… …The seed is the WORD OF GOD …” (Mark 4:14-15 & Luke 8:11 KJV).
The thoughts, delivered to your mind, still come FROM the heart, but they CAN NOW be informed by the Word.   God says, “… I WILL GIVE you a new heart , and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart …”(Ezekiel 36:26 NLT). “ …it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).  “…by the grace of God I am what I am…” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV). “… [Therefore]… we all … are changed into the same image [of Christ] from glory to glory … ” (2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV).
“… Create in me a clean heart , O God …” (Psalms 51:10 KJV). SO I CAN BE “…transformed by the renewing of [my] mind (and heart)….” (Romans 12:2 KJV).  “… Apart from [Jesus, the Word, You]…can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV).
The purpose of CLEANING THE HEART is to RENEW the MIND. RENEWING the MIND TRANSFORMS behavior. TRANSFORMED BEHAVIOR is the RESULT of a CLEAN HEART that INFORMS the MIND and DIRECTS the RIGHTEOUS CHOICES a redeemed person makes. “… Create in me a clean heart , O God …” (Psalms 51:10 KJV). “…Christ ….loved the church, and GAVE himself for it ; That he might SANCTIFY and CLEANSE it, with the washing of water by the word (of god)….”(Ephesians 5:25-25 KJV). “…The God of peace Himself SANCTIFY  (cleanse) you ENTIRELY…” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NASB). “...God has chosen you from the beginning for SALVATION through SANCTIFICATION (cleansing power) by the Spirit and faith in the truth …” (2 Thessalonians 2:13 NASB “….ye are SANCTIFIED (cleaned) …in the name of the Lord Jesus (the Word), and by the SPIRIT of our GOD …” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV).

When the redeemed MIND is RENEWED, God's people's BEHAVIOR will be RENEWED. For instance, NOW...“….. out of the HEART come ...[GOOD]...THOUGHTS —love, joy, peace, gentleness…” "....The....[indwelling]... Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in [their] ...lives …” (Galatians 5 NLT). “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). “…Ye shall know [those with the indwelling Holy Spirit]… by their fruits …” (Matthew 7:16 KJV). “… He who ABIDES in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit … ” (John 15:1-11 NASB). "…My Father is glorified by this, that “[THE REDEEMED” bear much fruit, and so PROVE to be...[HIS]... disciples” (John 15:8 NIV).  “…God ...does the work IN AND THROUGH all of us who are his (the REDEEMED)… (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
The renewed mind, of the redeemed, is WITNESSED through renewed behaviors. The renewed mind, of the redeemed, will PROVE God’s will and what HE considers a good and acceptable lifestyle. The good and acceptable lifestyle is observable through Christ-like behaviors.  It is what makes, the redeemed, true Witnesses for God.
A practicing, sinful lifestyle will always, no matter how big or small, be in opposition for what God desires for his REDEEMED PEOPLE. "…A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough…" (Galatians 5:9 NIV). A Holy (set apart, especially from sinful practices) lifestyle is all that will be acceptable with God and no other. God does not endorse straddling the fence, where you practice sinful behaviors part-time and righteous behavior the other part of the time. "… You must purge the evil from among you…” (Deuteronomy 21:18-21 NIV). God is ONLY pleased when his people live Holy lives and separate themselves from all forms or appearances of sinful practices. “…Abstain from all APPEARANCE OF EVIL…” (1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV).
When the Word says, to his people, “BE NOT” conformed, to this world, it is not an option. “…Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “…And do not touch what is unclean…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB). It literally means NOT to copy, in any form or fashion, the sinful lifestyle.
This includes habits, fashion patterns, behaviors, actions, practices, or speech. Whatever the current, wicked and idolatrous culture and age; do not conform to it. “… ye shall be Holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. …” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV).
God wants his people to be influenced and governed by the biblical lifestyle. He wants his people to pattern their lives after Jesus Christ and be conformed to HIS IMAGE. Many redeemed people think they are NOT conformed to the sinful lifestyle, but consciously or unconsciously they are privately indulging or engaging in many of its patterns and carnalities through automatic behaviors. “…thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and …art polluted with their idols…” (Ezekiel 23:30).
Most non-believers, especially from the 21st century, find so-called followers of Christ to be hypocritical and are turned off from Christianity. Some redeemed people still cherish patterns of thinking and practices from the heathen lifestyle. “….These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me…” (Matthew 15:8 NLT).
God is “NOT” LOOKING at your behavior, because the problem is not the behavior, it is the HEART. “...God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART …”(1 Samuel 16:7 NASB). God zooms in on the “…hidden man (woman) of the heart…” (1 Peter 3:4 KJV). God knows it is “…from within, out of the heartof man, proceed evil thoughts… wickedness…All these evil things come from within, and defile a person.” (Mark 7:21-23 KJV). The heart “…is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…who can know it [except God?]…” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV).
Their heart, which informs the mind is still devoted to some aspects of the sinful lifestyle and they either secretly or overtly follow carnal pleasures or practices through unrestrained, automatic behaviors. “.. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever . ” (1 John 2:16-17 NLT). A little sinful thinking is still some sinful thinking and some sinful thinking is too much.
The one solution to this problem is to transform the mind by renewing it and allowing the renewed mind to empower a spirit of holiness through the spiritual growth and development from the WORD of God. The redeemed are to influence the sinful lifestyles of the heathen by THEIR CHRISTIAN WITNESS; not the other way around. “…LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE before men, that they may see your good works…” (Matthew 5:16 KJV), “… Let your light so shine before men , that they may see your good works , and glorify your Father which is in heaven…” (Matthew 5:16 KJV).
Out of a CLEAN heart, which TRANSFORMS the MIND come GOOD and RIGHTEOUS thoughts, which is WITNESSED through the redeemed’s Christ-like practices. “…In this world we are like Jesus…” (1 John 4:17 NIV). In reality the redeemed soul is a new creation. “…Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
Without renewing the mind the redeemed “ARE” useless for WITNESSING God’s presence, goodness, or power upon earth. They would most likely, appear righteous, but be full of hypocrisy. “…. Apart from Me (the indwelling Holy Spirit and Word), you can do nothing …” (John 15:5 NIV). “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness… ” (Matthew 23:27 KJV).
Being full of hypocrisy is the result of a continual conformity to carnality, where the redeemed remains limited to external conduct, automatic behaviors, sinful conditioning, satanic brainwashing, and coerced evil habits. When the redeemed continue to practice sin they are NOT impacted by transformation that comes ONLY from RENEWING the mind. “…thou …art polluted with their idols…” (Ezekiel 23:30).
Whatever is in your mind, comes from your heart and PROVES, to those witnessing your behavior, who and what you are truly patterning your lifestyle after. Devotional love to God will always lead to renewing you mind, because you personally desire and choose to “keep” his commandments. “ If you love me, you will keep my commandments ” (John 14:15). 
An untransformed mind will continue to willfully and voluntarily embrace the sinful lifestyle patterns of thinking. An untransformed mind will NOT allow for the redeemed, to truly demonstrate the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God.“…A double minded man is unstable in all his ways…” (James 1:8 KJV).
EVERY THOUGHT needs renewal and to be bought into obedience to God’s word. “... take captive EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ (the Word)...” (2 Corinthians 10:NIV). It is the renewed mind that EMPOWERS, the redeemed, to display what the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God. “... For it is Godwho works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose” (Philippians 2:13 NIV).
It is the renewed mind that comes from a clean heart, which enables, the redeemed, to do the will of God. The spiritual FRUIT that empowers righteous behavior will PROVE the HEART and MIND are being RENEWED. The renewed mind that comes from a clean heart is CAREFUL to INFORM every THOUGHT in order to direct behavior to FOLLOW AFTER or OBEY God. “... we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and take captive EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ (the Word)...” (2 Corinthians 10:NIV).
The renewed mind that comes from a clean heart, will direct all their actions toward God’s holy commands. The renewed mind that comes from a clean heart, desires to demonstrate or be a witness for God’s good, perfect, and acceptable will. The redeemed mind that comes from a clean heart will WITNESS God’s presence, goodness, and power upon earth. "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples” (John 15:8 NIV).
The effort that goes into renewing the mind relies upon the HUMAN WILL and its CHOICE to allow THE WORD to remove and clean any leftover residuals, within the heart, from the former sinful lifestyle. The heart “…is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…who can know it [except God?]” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV). “ Create in me a clean heart, O God …” (Psalms 51:10 KJV).
Cleansing the heart also helps the redeemed to become more and more influenced by holiness. It also separates them from the practices of sin, which ultimately empowers them to glorify God in the world. . "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so PROVE to be My disciples” (John 15:8 NIV). Therefore, “… BE YE transformedby the renewing of your mind, that ye may PROVEwhat is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God…” (Romans 12:2 KJV).
God’s goal is “…to make [the heart]… holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God's word” (Ephesians 5:26 KJV). “...God SEES NOT as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART…”(1 Samuel 16:7 NASB). Why? The heart “…is deceitful ABOVE all things and desperately wicked…who can know it [except God?]” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV).
How is the heart cleaned? “You are “… [cleansed]… through [God’s]… truth: thy word is truth…” (JOHN 17:17 KJV). Therefore, “…Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly” (COLOSSIANS 3:16 KJV). You are cleansed through the indwelling power of Jesus, the Word of truth. When “…Christ [dwells] in your hearts by faith…” (Ephesians 3:17 KJV). Jesus becomes the cleansing Word.  
“… Christ ... [comes to dwell]…in your hearts by faith …” AFTERWARD Jesus “… [purifies your]… hearts by faith” (Acts 15:9 KJV).
To “…be transformed by the renewing of your mind….” (Romans 12:2 KJV). AND “…conformed to the image of his Son;”  “... [Jesus]...Christ...[the Word must].... dwell in your hearts …” (ROMANS 8:29 & Ephesians 3:17 KJV). “… … THE WORD …was sown in THEIR HEARTS…” (Mark 4:14-15 & Luke 8:11 KJV). “… …The seed is the WORD OF GOD …” (Mark 4:14-15 & Luke 8:11 KJV).
God says, “… I WILL GIVE you a new heart , and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart …”(Ezekiel 36:26 NLT). “ …it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).  “…by the grace of God I am what I am…” (1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV).
“… [Therefore]… we all … are changed into the same image [of Christ] from glory to glory … ” (2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV).
We live in the body of flesh, but it is DEAD and CRUCIFIED. Thus, it is NOT the body of flesh making you commit sinful acts, it is the INTANGIBLE memories, influences, and dictates the body of fleshLEFT within the HEART and MIND.
“… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV). 

THE CRUCIFIED SINFUL NATURE & MIND CONTROL.

THE SINFUL NATURE: IS NO LONGER IN CONTROL
  “.. . [god’s redeemed people] ... are not controlled by ...[their]... sinful nature. (unless they choose to be) ... [they]... are controlled by the Spirit if [they choose to be AND] have the Spirit of God living in [them. THE SAME SPIRIT THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD] …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). 
“...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT).

“... Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin...” (Romans 6:6 KJV).
“... I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me...” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).*To CONTROL someone you have to have the POWER to influence them, direct their behaviors, and impact their choices. The bible urges, the redeemed, to be transformed by renewing their minds. “…be transformed by the renewing of your mind... [through the revelation knowledge of God, the Holy Spirit]...” (Romans 12:1 KJV).  “... Those who are dominated by the sinful nature (through the untransformed mind) think about sinful things , but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit (through the transformed mind) think about things that please the Spirit . So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death . But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace ...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).
The REDEEMED soul is a FREED SOUL and NO LONGER has to follow the body of flesh (SINFUL NATURE), or it dictates, which is crucified. However, the crucified sinful nature will continue to CONTROL the untransformed mind and will influence God's people to engage, interact, and experience with destructive, sinful behaviors. The Word of God instructs, warns, directs, corrects, and guides God's people to “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).  Otherwise, “…. you [will become] ... slaves of the one you obey (follow)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV).
“… The sinful nature is always hostile (antagonistic and unreceptive) to God  …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
“..[The sinful nature]... never did obey (follow after) God’s laws , and it never will (follow after god’s holy laws)…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
“... t hose who are still under the control of their sinful nature (through the untransformed mind) can never please God …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).

And just as God (powerfully) raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give (spiritual life and power-filled) life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT)."...God raised Him (Jesus) up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power..." (Acts 2:24 KJV).“...For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.  Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God....” (Romans 6:4-10 NLT).“...I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave...” (Revelation 1:18 NLT).

“… The [indwelling Holy] ... Spirit gives you (the REDEEMED, spiritual) life because [they] have been made right with God (reunited with God, the Holy Spirit). …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
“…Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, [the redeemed has]... no obligation to do what [their]... sinful nature urges [them]... to do . For if you live by its dictates , you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit (the indwelling Holy Spirit) you [choose to]... put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God (the indwelling Holy Spirit) are children of God…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
“…Who will free me from this life that is dominated by (the untransformed mind which has been totally informed by) SIN (through the body of flesh or the sinful nature) ? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (THE WORD & the indwelling Holy Spirit)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“… Jesus (the WORD of GOD) …came and SPAKE, unto them saying, “ All POWER is given unto me (the word) IN heaven and earth…” (Matthew 28:18 KJV). “… Be transformed (HOW?) by the renewing of your mind (through the POWERFUL WORD of God) ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV). Will the WORD make YOUR "mind" FREE? Yes. HOW? “…If the Son (the word) therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed (without a doubt!!)…” (John 8:36 KJV).
The REDEEMED can FREELY choose to trust in and depend upon the indwelling Holy Spirit to STRENGTHEN them to engage, interact, experience with the world anew. The indwelling Holy Spirit produces and introduces new information into the heart of the redeemed, through the WORD of God, which directs their thoughts and influences NEW behaviors. “…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son “INTO” [YOUR HEART]…” (Galatians 4:6 NASB). “… I  will put a new spirit...[AND HEART]... in you …” (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT). “… The Lord (JESUS, the Word) is that [indwelling] ...Spirit (or is that “new” heart and new spirit) …” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “…Jesus Christ (the Word) is IN YOU …” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “… I can do all things through Christ (the Word) which strengtheneth me…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV).
The body of flesh is crucified , which means its dead and no longer in control, but it left its influence, or evil thoughts within the untransformed mind. The untransformed mind was educated and conditioned by the body of flesh and its dictates that the redeemed willfully and voluntarily allow their behaviors to be influenced and directed toward sin. On the other hand, the indwelling Holy Spirit,through the transformed mind, wants to influence and sanctify the redeemed, from evil thoughts, renewed by the WORD, which will empower them to direct their behavior toward righteousness.“… The sinful nature (flesh) wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants . And the [Holy] Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature (flesh) desires. These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions. ……” (Galatians 5 NLT).

One or the other - the body of flesh (the sinful nature) that desires to do evil or the indwelling Spirit that desires to do righteous - will influence, or direct the behavior of the redeemed. The crucified sinful nature does this through the information within the heart (mind) which CONTROLS the THOUGHTS that influence and direct behavior. “…The sinful nature (flesh) wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants ...These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions . ..” (Galatians 5 NLT)
 If the mind is NOT transformed the body of flesh (sinful nature), which is crucified, will CONTINUE to DICTATE (influence, direct, etc.) behavior, and make it IMPOSSIBLE to overcome EVIL THOUGHTS or to LIVE FREE from SIN. “... the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey  ... and it never will ...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT). “... I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t .I want to do what is good, but I don’t…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… Apart from [the indwelling Holy Spirit]… [the redeemed can]... do nothing [they cannot be TRANSFORMED] …” (John 15:5 NIV).
We are told: “… [The body of the REDEEMED becomes]... the temple of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) which is in [them]…” (1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV). “ …The Spirit of God dwelleth in [the REDEEMED]…” (1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV). “…Therefore if any man (woman) be in Christ, he (she) is a NEW creature …” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “… All things are … [MADE] … NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).    
Yet the bible also says: “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (through the WORD) ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).  How are the redeemed NEW CREATIONS and yet have the SAME MIND?
First God RESTORES the SOUL to spiritual LIFE.“… the Holy Spirit gives birth to (or restores) SPIRITUAL LIFE … ” (John 3:6 NLT).  God is a “… restorer of thy life …” (Ruth 4:15 KJV). “… He restoreth my SOUL …” (Psalm 23 KJV). “…The law of the LORD (the WORD of God) is perfect (maturing), restoring the SOUL …” (Psalm 19 NASB). “…. He (the WORD OF GOD) restoreth my soul ….” (PSALM 23:1-3 NLT). “… I (God, the holy spirit) will restore …” (Jeremiah 30:17 KJV).  “….Jesus Christ (the WORD of GOD) maketh thee WHOLE (AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “... and man (woman) became a living soul... [again] …” (Genesis 2:7 KJV).
Second, God SETS you FREE from the bondage of SIN, and your body of flesh is crucified.  “... our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin...” (Romans 6:6 KJV).  “….Jesus Christ (the WORD of GOD) maketh thee WHOLE (AGAIN)…” (Acts 9:34 KJV). “... and man (woman) became a living soul…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV).“... [ the redeemed have been] made free from sin ….” (Romans 6:18 KJV). “... If the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed ” (John 8:36 KJV). “…Where the Spirit (indwelling Holy Spirit) of the Lord is, there is liberty (freedom)...” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). “ …The Spirit of God dwelleth in [the REDEEMED]…” (1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV)."...God raised Him (Jesus) up again, PUTTING AN END to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power..." (Acts 2:24 KJV).
 “... I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith ( THE FAITH THAT TRUSTS IN and DEPENDS UPON GOD) of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me...” (Galatians 2:20 KJV).
The body of flesh (sinful nature) is crucified. “...We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin...” (Romans 6:6 NLT).  “... My old self has been crucified with Christ . It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me...” (Galatians 2:20 NLT). “..they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts...” (Galatians 5:24 KJV). “...Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there...” (Galatians 5:24 NLT).
Third, God has RESTORED spiritual LIFE, he has set the SOUL FREE from the bondage of SIN through the body of flesh. Now the redeemed are in the position to FREELY and WILLFULLY choose to follow God and NOT their SINFUL NATURE. “... [ the redeemed have been] made free from sin ….” (Romans 6:18 KJV). “... If the Son therefore shall make you free, you SHALL be free indeed... ” (John 8:36 KJV). “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (through the WORD) ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).  “… Choose you this day whom ye will serve (the flesh or the Spirit).” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).
“…. you [will become] ... slaves of the one you obey (follow)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV). “... I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t . I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (nature through my untransformed mind) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “... the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will ...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).
All behavioral conditioning influenced, taught or learned through the sinful nature and its dictates have AFFECTED the MIND, which AFFECTS how you ACT.
“… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).
Sinful behaviors become formations of behaviorwhich are now part of one’s lifestyle, especially after years and years of repeated and routine practice. Some of these behaviors, particularly the ones that include the pleasure center of the brain, HARDEN or CEMENT, with an overload and lifetime of chronic practice, making them extremely DIFFICULT to break or stop. “… Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil…” (Jeremiah 13:23 NIV). “... I want to do what is right, but I can’t… ” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“…Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “…The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). THE BIBLE TELLS YOU HOW? JESUS IS ALSO THE WORD OF GOD. Jesus had another name. “… His name is called The Word of God…” (Revelation 19:12-13 NASB). THE WORD HAS THE "POWER" TO RENEW YOUR MIND AND ERADICATE THE INFLUENCE OF OLD SINFUL NATURE.

“... letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death . But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. ..” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).
“…The sinful nature (flesh) wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants ...These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions . ..” (Galatians 5 NLT).

“... I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent...” (2 Corinthians 11:3 NLT).
The serpent deceived EVE by speaking to her and she listened. The EVIL ONE, through the serpent, used SOUND, SIGHT, and TOUCH, one of more or her FIVE SENSES (DICTATES), to do it. DICTATES are things, like the senses, that command, direct, or rule the behavior and make it OBEY its demands. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (SIGHT) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“….God saw everything he had made… [he said], it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).However, “… One sinner destroy[ed]… much good...” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB).  EVE interacted, through the body of flesh, with the serpent, who was in God’s new created world, and MADE A DECISION about the information GIVEN to her by the EVIL ONE.  “… The woman [became] ... convinced .... She [choose to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“…The…Lord God asked [Eve]…“What have you done?…“ …” (Genesis 3 NLT She chose to follow the body of flesh (sinful nature) and its dictates (commands). That choice“ …separated [eve ]… from [her]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “…Through ...[Eve’s] ... [choice to follow the body of flesh & its dictates, sin]... entered into the world, and … passed to all men …” (Romans 5:12 KJV).
“... Eve was deceived (or enticed to interact with God’s world, through her body of flesh (sinful nature) by) ... the cunning ways of the serpent ...” (2 Corinthians 11:3 NLT).

The body of flesh (sinful nature) and its FIVE SENSES (dictates) allow the SOUL to engage, interact, and experience the natural world while learning and gaining information at the same time. What the SOUL learns from the world, which empowers them to use their human will and make decision about the information they’ve gained. The brain (heart) is the information center and thus it informs the mind and the mind directs the behavior based off of that information. The MIND also influences the human will and thus CONTROLS behavior chioces by keeping CONTROL over the MIND. “...letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT).
The body of flesh (SINFUL NATURE), which is crucified and its FIVE SENSES (dictates) STILL have the capacity to have an effect on the redeemed, through the untransformed mind (information center).
The INFLUENCE is so ENTRENCHING that the body of flesh (sinful nature) and its dictates, which are crucified have the POWER to affect, the behavior of the redeemed, in intangible ways.
This POWER to AFFECT the behavior of the redeemed, even after death, in intangible ways, is the COGNITIVE affect (MIND affect) of the crucified sinful nature. It will continue to control what THE BELIEVER does if the MIND is “NOT” transformed! “… The sinful nature (flesh) wants to do evil ... so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions . ..” (Galatians 5 NLT).
“... the sinful nature ... never did obey God’s laws, and it never will ...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT). “... our old sinful selves (the sinful natures) were crucified with Christ ...” (Romans 6:6 NLT). “..they that are Christ's have crucified the [body of]...flesh with the affections and lusts...” (Galatians 5:24 KJV).
The body of flesh (sinful nature) is DEAD and CRUCIFIED and yet it STILL CONTROLS what the redeemed does or does not DO. WHY? “… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).That which is DEAD is DEAD and leads to DEATH. That which is Spiritual Life is LIFE and leads to LIFE and PEACE!

THE SINFUL NATURE WAS CRUCIFIED ALONG WITH CHRIST!

                               
THE SINFUL NATURE: IS CRUCIFIED and UNDEPENDABLE for living in FREEDOM

 “… Who will free me from this life that is dominated by SIN? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord (the WORD OF GOD)…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “…if the Son (Jesus Christ, the indwelling Holy Spirit)…shall make you FREE, ye shall be FREE indeed.” (John 8:36 KJV).

God, the Holy Spirit, personally PURSUED “every” REDEEMED person. He also personally CHOOSE each one of them and DREW them to LOVE (himself) and RESTORED them to BACK into a covenant relationship with him.
The body of flesh and its dictates is dead and crucified. “...We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin...” (Romans 6:6 NLT).  “... My old self has been crucified with Christ . It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me...” (Galatians 2:20 NLT).

To CRUCIFY someone means to literally put them to death by NAILING them to a cross, in the manner of the old, ancient practice for capital punishment. The body of flesh and ALL its dictates is CRUCIFIED (dead) with Christ and were NAILED to the CROSS, which set ME and YOU “FREE.” Therefore, I AM; WE ARE DELIVERED forever!
REMEMBER The BODY of fleshwas given to us by God to participate in the activities of the natural world. The body of flesh was ONLY a vessel in which the soul could EXPERIENCE, ENGAGE, AND INTERACT WITH everything in the natural world.
The body of flesh was originally meant to enable the soul to experience, engage and interact with God’s newly created world through the FIVE SENSES (sight, smell, sound, taste, touch) in GOOD ways.
When the body of flesh was ENGAGED, through the FIVE SENSES, the SOUL was enabled to learn and experience THINGS in God’s newly created world.
The FIVE SENSES were created so the SOUL could learn and experience THINGS in God’s newly created world, through the body of flesh, by sending INFORMATION to the heart (brain), to inform the thoughts.
God gave mankind the heart (brain) to be the information center that helps the soul perceive, learn, experience, and observe HIS CREATED WORLD.
The body of flesh, through the FIVE SENSES, helped the SOUL engage, interact, and experience God’s “GOOD” created world. For instance, SIGHT helped with visual learning. HEARING helped with associating different sounds. TASTE helped with learning to discriminate one preferable thing from another. SMELL helped by providing memories. TOUCH helped with experimental learning.
In the BEGINNING ALL of mankind’s FIVE SENSES were influenced by the GOOD and LOVING GOD’S newly created WORLD. “….God saw every thing he had made … [he said], it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
After the separation of God’s Holy Spirit, from mankind, ALL of the FIVE SENSES became AFFECTED and CORRUPTED by the EVIL ONE’S influence.“… One sinner destroy[ed]… much good...” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB).  “…Then…Lord God asked [Eve]…“What have you done?…“ …” (Genesis 3 NLT). “ …[they became]...separated … from [their]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).
MUCH GOOD WAS DESTROYED when the “good” God became separated from MANKIND. The serpent deceived EVE through her FIVE SENSES.
GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT SAID: “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE…” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
THE SERPENT APPEALED TO THE WOMAN’S SENSES, USING THE BODY OF FLESH. “… The woman [became] ... convinced (THROUGH SOUND) [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw (SIGHT) that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked (LUST of the EYES) delicious (TASTE), and she wanted (LUST of the FLESH) the wisdom (PRIDE of LIFE) it would give her. So she took (TOUCH) some of the fruit and ate it (TASTE)...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT). “….She [choose to take] ( human will) ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too …” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
Eve’s SENSES enabled HER to learn and experience THINGS in the world which influenced HOW she MADE her decision and choice to EAT the apple.
The body of flesh was ACTIVATED by one or more or her FIVE SENSES. Eve’s body of flesh and one or more of her FIVE SENSES influenced how she should engage, interact, and experience what the SERPENT said.
The body of flesh was not CREATED to obey God, but to be a SERVANT VESSEL for the soul and the SPIRIT’s benefit. “… The [flesh]...nature  ... never did obey God’s laws, and it never will …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
Therefore, the body of flesh cannot and will NOT obey God, but it will FOLLOW AFTER the FIVE SENSES by engaging, interacting, and experiencing the world as it was CREATED to do.
Without the indwelling Holy Spirit and left to itself, the body of flesh, can become TOTALLY DEPRAVED, in the EVIL ONE’S world and out of control, through the FIVE SENSES, taking the imprisoned SOUL along with it! “… The [flesh]...nature  ...never did obey God’s laws, and it never will …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
Thus, the problem, with the body of flesh, came when God, the Holy Spirit departed and the SOUL was trapped, within a nature that would NEVER follow after God’s holy commandments.
After the Holy Spirit departed, from mankind, the WORLD became FILLED with LUST and PRIDE, which was totally controlled by the EVIL ONE. “.. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever . ” (1 John 2:16-17 NLT).
The body of flesh engages, interacts, and experiences the world through the five senses and the world is under the power and influence of the evil one. The soul has NO control over the body of flesh without the indwelling Holy Spirit. The soul, therefore, is engaging, interacting, and experiencing existence or natural life, in a world totally under the power of the EVIL ONE, which leads them inadvertently to follow after him whose only goal is to enslave them through their five senses. “...We know … that the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).

Left to itself, the body of flesh can become totally depravedand out of control, through the FIVE SENSES, taking the SOUL along with it! “… The [flesh]...nature  ... never did obey God’s laws, and it never will …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
The freed and redeemed soul CAN FREELY and willfully choose to follow either the body of flesh and its dictates (outward influences) or the indwelling Holy Spirit (inward influences). “… Choose you this day whom ye will serve (the flesh or the Spirit).” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).
An untransformed mind will continue to FOLLOW the information put into the heart by the body of flesh and it dictates, which is now dead, and will, therefore, remain a willful slave to the EVIL ONE. “…. you [will become] ... slaves of the one you obey (follow and cooperate with)…” (Romans 6:16 NIV).
For example, if you have an unhealthy eating habit, the untransformed mind will continue to FOLLOW the information put into the heart - by the body of flesh and its dictates - about what and how you should eat. You will, most likely, constantly struggle with it, or continue to eat unhealthily disregarding your personal desire to be healthy or your personal desire to stick to a new eating lifestyle..  “... I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t .I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (nature through my untransformed mind) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “... the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will ...” (Romans 8:5-7 NLT). “…The sinful nature (flesh) wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the [Holy] Spirit wants. And the [Holy] Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature (flesh) desires. These TWO FORCES are constantly fighting each other, so you are not FREE to carry out your good intentions. ……” (Galatians 5 NLT).

Mankind, whether you agree or disagree, is NOT basically GOOD, but they are basically SINFUL by NATURE!!! “...The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin (through the sin nature). I don’t really understand myself, for I wantto do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. The BIBLE clearly explains the TROUBLE with the SINFUL NATURE and it DOES NOT say it is basically GOOD. In fact, the bible SAYS the SINFUL NATURE wantsto DO EVIL!!!! “… The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants ... so you are not free to carry out your good intentions . … …” (Galatians 5 NLT).

Mankind is BASICALLY evil, sorry, but it’s true. The SINFUL NATURE has SIN embedded within its very fiber and it only has an inclination for evil; not righteousness. “… The sinful nature wants to do ... the opposite of what the Spirit wants  …” (Galatians 5 NLT).“… The sinful nature wants to do evil …” (Galatians 5 NLT).  “…. When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these . Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. …” (Galatians 5:22-23 NLT).
The Holy Spirit PRODUCES spiritual fruit and the sinful nature PRODUCES evil fruit. “… The sinful nature wants to do evil ……” (Galatians 5 NLT). “...The trouble is with ...[mankind, they are]... all too human, a slave to sin...[because of the sinful nature] ... [they]...want to do what is good, but [they]...don’t...” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… [they were]... born ...[sinners]... The SINFUL NATURE is PROOF that mankind is NOT basically GOOD. Every human being is BORN with a SINFUL NATURE and has EVIL proclivities. “…. I was born a sinner ….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).  “...These wicked people are born sinners; even from birth they have lied and gone their own way...” (Psalm 58:3 NLT). “... The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies...” (Psalms 58:3 KJV).
Adam and Eve PASSED this SINFUL NATURE on to their children and all of mankind. “… SIN IS the transgression of the [God’s holy]...law ….” (1 John 3:4 KJV). “... sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death passed to all men, for that all sinned —“(Romans 5:12 KJV).  “... all have sinned (all have a sin nature) …” (Romans 3:23 KJV). “… all have ... come short of the glory of God (all are born WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit) …” (Romans 3:23 KJV).
Adam and Eve and ALL of their descendants were BORN without the Holy SPIRIT. "…That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit…” (John 3:6 KJV).

From generation to generation, descendant to descendant, and year after year the sin nature has been passed down to all of mankind. “… the wages of sin (the end result) is [spiritual] death …” (Romans 6:23 KJV).
Adam and Eve ate the apple, the relationship between them and God changed, and immediately their “eyes were opened,” to a life without GOD, the Holy Spirit.
God said they would surely die. “... THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV). “.... At that moment their eyes were opened … ” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).  “… [Their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God [the Holy Spirit or the BREATHE of LIFE]…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).  They became “… DEAD in trespasses and sin…” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV).
This death was not a physical death where the soul is separated from the body, but it was the spiritual death where the soul is separated from the “Holy Spirit” within the body.
God said, “….let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV).  “…..God created man in his own image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…. God formed man of the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (HIS Spirit, his likeness); and man became a LIVING soul (soul)…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV). When “…God saw everything he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
The SPIRITenables us to have communication with God AND HE WITH US. The indwelling Holy Spirit ALSO ENABLES US TO engage, interact, and experience with HIS PRESENCE, his GOODNESS, his POWER. God’s Spirit also allows us to be uniquely intimate with him through a holy, covenant relationship. “…He that is JOINED unto the Lord (Jesus) is ONE Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “… [God’s] Love … is the perfect BOND of unity...” (Colossians 3:14 NASB). “…that they may all be one (bonded by love); even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us…” (John 17:21-23 NASB).
The BODY of flesh is given to us by God to communicate with the world. Through the body the soul can EXPERIENCE, ENGAGE, AND INTERACT WITH everything in the world. The body enables the soul to experience, engage and interact with the world through the SENSES (sight, smell, sound, taste, touch).
When the body is ENGAGED through the SENSES it ENABLES the SOUL to learn and experience THINGS in the world. The SENSES enables the SOUL to learn and experience THINGS in the world by sending INFORMATION to the heart (brain), which informs the thoughts. The heart (brain), the information center of the soul helps the soul perceive or observe the world.
The SENSES enable the SOUL to learn and experience THINGS in the world, which will influence HOW they MAKE decisions and choices. The body of flesh is ACTIVATED by the SENSES. The SENSES will DICTATE how the body of flesh engages, interacts, and experiences the world, which will influence how the SOUL also engages, interacts, and experiences the world.
The body of flesh was not CREATED to obey God, but to be a vessel and servant for the soul and Spirit to interact in the world. “… The [flesh]...nature  ... never did obey God’s laws, and it never will …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
THE BODY OF FLESH CAN’T OBEY GOD, BECAUSE IT WASN’T CREATED TO OBEY, BUT IT WAS CREATED TO BE A VESSEL AND SERVANT.
A FORK, BOWL, PLATE, COUCH, COAT, TELEVISION WAS CREATED TO SERVE ITS PURPOSE “ONLY.” THESE THINGS WILL DO “ONLY” WHAT THEY WERE CREATED TO DO AND WILL NOT OBEY ANY OTHER COMMAND OR SERVE ANY OTHER PURPOSE.

The problem COMES because the WORLD is FILLED with LUST and PRIDE, which doesn’t come from God. “.. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever . ” (1 John 2:16-17 NLT).
The body of flesh engages, interacts, and experiences the world through the senses and the world is under the power and influence of the evil one. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The soul, therefore, is engaging, interacting, and experiencing with natural life, in a world, which leads them – through the body of flesh -  inadvertently toward obedience to the evil one whose goal is to enslave their senses. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The body of flesh enables the soul to engage, interact, and experience the world, which heavily influences them to learn and make decisions based on the information sent to the heart (brain) from “that” world. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
The soul becomes inadvertently obedient to the evil one, through the senses and thus become HIS willing servants THROUGH the body of flesh (sinful nature). “…Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Romans 6:16 KJV).

The body of flesh has been controlled, by the evil one, through the senses, for a long time and the body of flesh develops strongholds, such has habits, obsessions, addictions, and memories, to ensure the evil one’s continual dictatorship over man’s SOUL. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
These formations of behavior - influenced by the EVIL ONE who used the body of flesh, through the senses - become automatic behaviorsover long periods of time and practice. “... the whole world lies under the power of the evil one ” (1 John 5:19 RSV).
These automatic behaviors are often done by the body of flesh, without total awareness one is doing them or without permission from the SOUL. The SOUL may WANT to do right, but it CAN’T. “… The ...[flesh]... nature ...never did obey God’s laws, and it never will .…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).   “...I am all too human, a slave to sin (the body of flesh through the senses) ...I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (nature or body of flesh through the senses) that is … within me (within my heart, mind, etc.) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  “…Who will free me from this life that is dominated by SIN? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
The evil one uses and puts into your intimate and immediate environments, all kinds of triggers that continually condition sinful behavior through the senses. These triggers work by dictating how the body of flesh engages the soul with the things of the world. “...I am all too human, a slave to sin (the body of flesh through the senses) ...I want to dowhat is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  
These triggers also aid in the evil one’s ability to dictate destructive behavior, through the senses, using the body of flesh while imprisoning the soul at the same time (classical conditioning). “...I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (nature or body of flesh through the senses) that is … within me (within my heart, mind, etc.) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  
The evil one uses and puts into place pleasurable reward systems, which involve the pleasure center of the brain (heart) and specific, sinful behavior, through the senses. When the pleasure center of the brain (heart) and a specific sinful behavior, through the senses, are LINKED together they will continually encourage the practice of “that” behavior, through the senses, using the body of flesh while imprisoning the soul at the same time (operant conditioning). “......I want to do what is right, but I can’t .I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).  
The evil one uses and puts into place role models and idols that will entice the soul through the “lust of the eyes” or “lust of the flesh” to duplicate the same sinful behaviors. The EVIL ONE will use one or more of the senses, through the body of flesh. For example, he may use SIGHT to influence perception, learning, or to observe what others are doing to entice the soul (observational conditioning). “ BUT“… The woman ... saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it... ” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
All conditioning of the body of flesh, done through the SENSES enables the SOUL to learn and experience the THINGS of the world, while sending information to the brain(heart), which informs the thoughts and in turn, directs behavior.
All conditioning influences how the SOUL makes decisions and choices using the information learned through the body of flesh and dictated by the SENSES. Thus, all conditioning AFFECT the MIND through the heart (brain) and influences BEHAVIOR
“… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ….”(Romans 12:2 KJV).
Sinful behaviors learned and practiced through the body of flesh and dictated by the senses become formations of behavior, especially over a long period of time. Some of these formations of behavior, particularly the ones that include the pleasure center of the brain (heart), HARDEN or CEMENT, because of a lifetime of practice, making them extremely DIFFICULT to break or stop. “… Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil…” (Jeremiah 13:23 NIV). “... I want to do what is right, but I can’t… ” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).

         The sin nature/flesh/physical was NOT originally created sinful. It was created as a body or flesh, or the human, earthen physical vessel, or that part of mankind that was made from the dust of the ground.  “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (body)…”(GENESIS 2:7 KJV).

God is GOOD and nothing else is GOOD, but him. God’s GOODNESSis a WITNESS to his DIVINE nature and “NOT” mankind’s nature. “…The invisible [SPIRIT]…from the creation of the world is … [his] eternal power… [and his]....divine nature…[which are]...clearly seen (witnessed), (HOW is his power and nature witnessed?).... being understood (being made aware of or manifested) (HOW are they understood or manifested?)... by the things that are MADE (his created goodnesses) …” (Romans 1:20 KJV).

GOOD and doest GOOD …” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). “...there is none good but one, that is, God... ” (Nahum 1:7 & Mark 10:18 KJV). “… All he DOES (God, the Holy Spirit DOES) is just and GOOD ….” (PSALMS 111:7 NLT).
“…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (this was good), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (this was good); and man became a living soul (this was good)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
“…[God, the invisible Holy Spirit is]... GOOD …” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). “… “I AM WHO I AM…” (Exodus 3:14-15 NASB).  “… All he DOES (God, the Holy Spirit DOES) is just and GOOD ….” (PSALMS 111:7 NLT).

However, the BODY or FLESH or PHYSICAL was created TOGETHER with the SPIRIT and SOUL. The BODY, SPIRIT, and SOUL, together, according to God, was VERY GOOD. “…And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground (this was good), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (this was good); and man became a living soul (this was good)…”(GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “….God saw everything he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
What made the CREATION of mankind GOOD was because God, the Holy Spirit was a PART of the BODY and SOUL.  “…And the LORD God  ... breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (his Holy Spirit) (this was good)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV).
“…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “…The Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE…” (John 3:6 NLT). “…The Spirit of God dwell[s]… in you…” (Romans 8:9 KJV). “…The Lord is that Spirit…” (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV).“…Jesus Christ is IN YOU…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV).
 “…[God is]... GOOD …” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is ... GOODness…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). "....The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit …” (Galatians 5 NLT). “… Apart from [the Holy Spirit]… [mankind cannot]... do nothing [they cannot be GOOD] …” (John 15:5 NIV). “….God saw every thing he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
The flesh nature of mankind was created, initially, GOOD, because of the “breathe of life” or the indwelling Holy Spirit. “… [God, the Holy Spirit is]... GOOD …” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). The “breathe of life” IS SPIRIT. God “IS” SPIRIT. “…God is Spirit …” (John 4:24 KJV). SPIRIT became the mystic and immaterial part of mankind. Mankind was GIVEN a portion of God’s SPIRIT, which made mankind a “LIVINGSOUL. “…And the LORD God  ... breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (this was good); and man became a living soul (this was good)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV).
 “…The Spirit of God dwell[s]… inyou…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
“…and man became a living soul (this was good) …” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). Mankind's physical body was MOLDED and SHAPED from the dust of the ground and GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT breathed INTO the nostrils of HIS creation, which MADE that creation  a “LIVING SOUL”
“…man/woman became a living soul …”(GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “LIVING” refers to spiritual LIFE (the breathe of life). “…The Spirit of God ...[DWELT]… in ...[MANKIND]…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
 “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE … ” (John 3:6 NLT).  “...The Spirit GIVES life...” (John 6:63 NIV). “... He is ... God (the Holy Spirit IS THE ONE) who made the world and everything in it ...He himself gives life (spiritual life) and breath (existence, physical life) to everything ...” (Acts 17:24-25 NLT). “... [God’s] …Holy Spirit …is the SOURCE [of  it ALL]…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
SOUL refers to the immaterial part of mankind. When the SPIRIT and SOUL were UNITED mankind became a LIVINGSOUL.  LIVING =  is God and SOUL = is man. “…And the LORD God  ... breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (God breathed into the nostrils of the physical body, he'd made from the dust of the ground); and [THEN]...man (woman) became a living soul (became a SPIRITUAL existence)…”(GENESIS 2:7 KJV).
However, the physical body made from the dust of the ground, APART from the SPIRIT is DEAD and can no longer do GOOD. “…the body without (apart from) the spirit is dead…” (James 2:26 KJV).“... I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
Without God, the Holy Spirit, the body no longer houses a LIVING SOUL. WHY? “… GOD IS SPIRIT …” (John 4:24 KJV). “… the Holy Spirit gives birth to SPIRITUAL LIFE … ” (John 3:6 NLT).  “...The Spirit GIVES life...” (John 6:63 NIV). “... He is ... God (the Holy Spirit IS THE ONE) who made the world and everything in it ...He himself gives life (spiritual life) and breath (existence) to everything ...” (Acts 17:24-25 NLT). “... [God’s] …Holy Spirit …is the SOURCE [of  it ALL]…” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NLT).
“…. Apart from [the Holy Spirit]…[mankind can]..do nothing (they cannot be spiritually united, again, with God, the Holy Spirit or be good) …” (John 15:5 NIV).
What made the CREATION of mankind “LIVING” and GOOD was because God, the Holy Spiritwas a PART of the physical/flesh BODY and SOUL.  “…And the LORD God  ... breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (his Holy Spirit) (this was good)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV). “...The Spirit GIVES life...” (John 6:63 NIV).“…[God is]... GOOD …” (Psalm 119:68 KJV). “…The fruit of the Spirit is ... GOODness…” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV). "....The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit …” (Galatians 5 NLT). “… Apart from [the Holy Spirit]… [mankind cannot]... do nothing [they cannot be SPIRITUALLY ALIVE or GOOD] …” (John 15:5 NIV). “….God saw everything he had made…and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV).
NOW,“... I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
WHAT HAPPENED?
God, the Holy Spirit, GAVE mankind (Adam and Eve) one HOLY instruction:   “…of every tree of the garden THOU MAYEST FREELY EAT: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou  SHALT NOT EAT of it; for in THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
BUT“… The woman [became] ... convinced [to eat from the tree, anyway]... She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it...” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“….She [CHOSE to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too…” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“….God saw everything he had made……and, [said] … it was VERY GOOD…” (Genesis 1:31 KJV). Adam and Eve destroyed MUCH GOOD. “…God asked the woman, “What have you done?” (Genesis 3:7-13 NLT). “… ONE sinner destroy[ed]… MUCH GOOD…” (Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB). “…through one man SIN entered into the world, and DEATH THROUGH SIN, and so death passed to “all” men —“(Romans 5:12 KJV).  NOW “…All have sinned and fallen SHORT of the GLORY of God…” (Romans 3:23).
“….She [CHOSE to take] ... some of the fruit and [eat] ... IT. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and HE ATE IT, too…” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).
“…God asked the woman, “What have you done?”(Genesis 3:7-13 NLT).
“.... At that moment their eyes were opened … ” (Genesis 3:1-7 NLT).  At that moment, they transgressed the holy law and “… [their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God (the breath of life, the Holy Spirit, GOODNESS)…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). “… It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ... cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT). Their eyes were OPENED to a life WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit.
A willful, voluntarily decision to ignore God’s holy instruction cut, Adam and Even, OFF from God, the Holy Spirit or SEPARATED them from the breathe of life. “… It’s YOUR SINS that … [will] ... cut you off from God…” (Isaiah 59:2 NLT).
Adam and Eve, who were FREE from sin, at the time, also had human will and decided, on their OWN volition, to ACT against God’s WORD.“… [YOU CHOOSE]... this day whom ye will serve ….” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).
They freely CHOSE to do the opposite of what God’s Word instructed them to do. Choices have consequences and God fully disclosed to them what those consequences will be if they CHOSE “NOT” to listen to his Word. “... THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST thereof THOU SHALT SURELY DIE …” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV).
“…[They became] ... DEAD in trespasses and sin…” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). Their souls became dead souls, trapped within the prison of the physical body, made from the dust of the ground, because God’s Holy Spirit is no longer present. Sinners are “… DEAD “IN” trespasses and sin (spiritually dead within the sin/physical nature) ...” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV).
Dead souls are“… separated from the LIFE of God …” (Ephesians 4:18 NIV). BECAUSE, “… It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE …” (John 6:63 NASB). “... I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
Remember, “… [The redeemed]... were dead in [their] sins[too] and ... [NOW]…God made [them]... ALIVE with Christ. He forgave [them]… all [their]… sins…” (Colossians 2:13 NIV). God “….made [the redeemed]… ALIVE with Christ …when [they]… were DEAD in transgressions …” (Ephesians 2:5 NIV). Like the prodigal son, “… [they were]…. DEAD and [have been made]… ALIVE AGAIN; [the redeemed were]… lost and [have been]… found…” (Luke 15:24 NIV).
SIN, the rejecting of God’s HOLY instructions, separated mankind from God, the Holy Spirit or the breathe of life. “… [Their] ...INIQUITIES … separated … [them from] ... God…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).
Three things happened when Adam and Eve ate the apple:  1. “… [Their] … iniquities (transgressions) … separated [them]… from God (the breath of LIFE)…” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). 2. “…[They became] ... DEAD in trespasses and sin (souls trapped within the sinful nature)…” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). 3. Their Spiritual death was also the removal of the SPIRIT OF GOODNESS, which was produced by the indwelling Holy Spirit and left the SOUL in slavery to body of flesh (physical) which became the sinful nature.
How do you KNOW it is the SOUL (your being or existence) that is trapped in slavery to the sinful nature? Because the bible tells us Jesus RESTORES the SOUL. God, through the GIFT of Salvation restores the DEAD soul from the bondage or slavery to SIN, “…He restoreth my SOUL …” (Psalm 23 KJV). “…The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the SOUL …” (Psalm 19 NASB). “IN” Christ your DEAD soul has been restored and made “ALIVE AGAIN.” (Luke 15:24 NIV). “… I am the resurrection, and the life. ..” (John 11:25 KJV).  “...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT). “...Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the (Holy) Spirit gives you (spiritual) life because you have been made right with God. ...Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do...” (Romans 8:10, 12 NLT).
HOW? “… It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE …” (John 6:63 NASB). “……God made you ALIVE with Christ. He forgave [you]… all [your]… sins…” (Colossians 2:13 NIV). “…he that is joined unto the Lord (Jesus) is ONE spirit… [with God again]” (1 Corinthians 6:17 KJV). “…. old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). “... and man ...[becomes]... a living soul (AGAIN)…” (GENESIS 2:7 KJV).
Spiritually DEAD souls are slaves to the sinful nature. “… The sin of my SOUL …” (Micah 6:7 KJV). “... I want to do what is good, but I don’t …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
The spiritually DEAD soul is heavily affected by carnality. “…. When you follow the desires (influences) of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these . Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. …” (Galatians 5:22-23 NLT).
Adam and Eve ONCE had a body, Spirit, and soul but the Spirit separated. “….let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV).  “…..God created man in his own image…..male and female created he them…” (Genesis 1:27 KJV). “…. God formed man of the dust of the ground (body), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (HIS Spirit or spiritual LIFE); and man became a living soul (soul)…” (Genesis 2:7 KJV).
“….let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26 KJV). They were originally created in God’s “image”, which is SPIRIT. “…God is not human (he is not a body, the flesh, or a soul)…” (Numbers 23:19 NIV). “…GOD IS SPIRIT…” (John 4:24 KJV). “… t he Spirit of God dwell in you (and dwelt in Adam and Eve) …” (Romans 8:9 KJV).
From that time, until NOW, everyone, born into the world, is born without the indwelling Holy Spirit. “… All have sinned (all are born with a sin nature/flesh/physical only) and fallen short of the glory of God (born without the indwelling holy spirit)…” (Romans 3:23). “…. I was born a sinner (I was born without the indwelling holy spirit) ….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).
NOW everyone is born with ONLY a sin/physical nature. Everyone will eventually become a SLAVE to sin, and they cannot, on their own, be restored to WHOLENESS or REUNITED with God, the Holy Spirit, without an act of God’s LOVING GRACE.
The sinful nature ONLY knows how to SIN. Sinful behaviors are the symptoms of “that” nature. “…. I was born a sinner ….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).  “... I want to do what is right, but I can’t . I want to do what is good,but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (nature) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… the wages of sin (the symptoms of that nature, which are transgressions against God’s holy law) is death …” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “… For all have sinned (all have this nature) …” (Romans 3:23 KJV). “… all have ... come short of the glory of God (all are born WITHOUT the indwelling Holy Spirit) …” (Romans 3:23 KJV).
The body of flesh was NOT designed or created to OBEY God, therefore, the body of flesh became the sinful nature. The sin nature ONLY has a proclivity to DISOBEY God. “… The sinful nature is always hostile to God . …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “..[The sinful nature]... never did obey God’s laws , and it never will .…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “...those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT).
Ethical behavior is NOT righteous behavior. “… The flesh (ethical behavior) profiteth nothing …” (John 6:63 KJV). “… Human effort (ethical behavior) accomplishes nothing ….” (John 6:63 NLT). “… If I bestow all my goods to feed the poor (ethical behavior) , and if I give my body to be burned (ethical behavior), but have not love (God is LOVE and SPIRIT), IT PROFITETH ME NOTHING…” (1 Corinthians 13:2-3 ASV)."… if the salt has become tasteless … It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out…” (Matthew 5:13 NASB).
A man or woman, without God, the Holy Spirit, is a dead soul. They have NO true spiritual inclinations. They can have ethical behaviors, trained by the flesh that is hostile to God, but their natural proclivities are to sin and do what they want to do; “NOT” what God wants them to do. “…the body without (apart from) the spirit is dead…” (James 2:26 KJV). “… The sinful nature is always hostile to God . …” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “..[The sinful nature]... never did obey God’s laws , and it never will .…” (Romans 8:1-14 NLT). “…. I was born a sinner ….” (Psalms 51:5 NLT).  “... I want to do what is right, but I can’t . I want to do what is good, but I don’t. …I [am] …a slave to the sin (a slave to the sin nature) …” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT). “… the wages of sin (the definite prognosis of having a sin nature) is death …” (Romans 6:23 KJV). “… For all have sinned (all have been born with a sin nature) …” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

...DWELLS “IN” YOU
“…God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV).
“...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT). “...Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the (Holy) Spirit gives you (spiritual) life because you have been made right with God. ...Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do...” (Romans 8:10, 12 NLT).                                                                     * 
The indwelling Spirit is what distinguishes the Christian faith from all others. The indwelling Spirit sets the follower of Christ apart for God and his holy purposes. The indwelling Spirit separates the believer from the unbeliever, because they NO longer have anything in common.
Because of the indwelling "HOLY" Spirit it is not advisable for believers to be in ANY agreement or associations with unbelievers on a regular basis. “…And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; God hath said ‘I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people …” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV).
Unbelievers are people who do not belong to God, the Holy Spirit. God further emphasizes the problematic effects of being unequally yoked with unbelievers. “… Be ye NOT unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV).
Choosing unbelievers for any union, especially marriage goes against the warnings of God’s Holy Word, about unequally yoked companionships. “… Be ye NOT unequally yoked together with unbelievers …” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV).
This is especially true about intimate friendships or acquaintances. It does not mean you ignore them, or snob them out, or act as if they don’t exist; it means you do not choose them as intimate associations that can ultimately have an influence upon your life. “…Do you not know thatyou yourselves are God’s temple,Choosing unbelievers as intimate associations may cause you to be defiled with those who are defiled by sin. “…For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them andwalk among them;And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “ And do not touch what is unclean…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB).
God warns believers to come out of the world of carnality and considers it unclean. God wants his children separated from SIN and its temporary pleasures or pursuits. Believers are NOT to ANY longer be conformed to the ways, behaviors, corruptions, appearances of evil, or fashions of the world.
God is a HOLY God and he wants his people to be just like Him. “…ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy…” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV).
It is an HONOR and the utmost PRIVILEGE to be God’s child and be bestowed with the HIGH blessing of his indwelling HOLY Spirit. That SAME Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead! “…I will dwell in them andwalk among them;And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB). “...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT).
The indwelling Holy Spirit ANOINTS you, SETS you APART for God’s purpose, and makes you an actual living TEMPLE of God's Holy Spirit. A believer would never think to use a church building as a bar, strip club, or for other worldly activities and then worship in it on Sunday. Neither should the believer expose their temples with unequally yoked activities. “…Be ye NOT unequally yoked together with unbelievers…” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV).
“…And what agreement hath the temple of God with IDOLS? …” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV). Some believers think “idols” are just other gods, and they are, but they come in the form of worldly things you make into objects of secret worship.
Objects of secret worship compete with the worship of God. “…no man can serve TWO MASTERS: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or despise the other. Ye CANNOT serve God and mammon….” (Matthew 6:24 KJV).
Having secret objects of worship, outside of God, hinders the holy separation of believers who has the indwelling Holy Spirit that sets them apart for his purposes. “…Ye CANNOT serve God and mammon….” (Matthew 6:24 KJV). “…Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord.“ And do not touch what is unclean…”(2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB).
The indwelling Holy Spirit is “IN” you and out of RESPECT and HONOR you do not want to pollute yourself with the SINFUL activities of the carnal world. When I was growing up, respectable children did not like to cuss or smoke, or do other carnal activities in presence of their parents; out of HONOR.
How much more HONORABLE and RESPECTFUL should the believer be to the PRESENCE of indwelling HOLY Spirit within them?  “…Do you not know thatyou yourselves are God’s temple,A believer is ALWAYS in God’s presence. .“…I will dwell in them and walk among them…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB). Holiness sets them apart and separates the believer, but it also allows them to be a very intimate part of God’s life and it allows God to be a very intimate of the believer’s life through his indwelling presence!! AWESOME.
It is the indwelling Holy Spirit that is the witness of his presence in your life. Your body is the temple and it houses the Holy Spirit. HONORING and RESPECTING your body; honors and respects the temple of God. “…Do you not know thatyou yourselves are God’s temple,In the Old Testament God brought the Israelites out of Egypt to Mount Sinai and he told them to build a tabernacle. God gave them detailed instructions on how to prepare the tabernacle and once it was finished “…the glory of the Lord FILLED the tabernacle…” (Exodus 40:34).
Many generations later, King David wanted to build God a more permanent type of temple. King David didn’t get to build it, but his son, Solomon, did. Again, God gave Solomon detailed instructions on how to build and prepare the temple. Once the temple was finished “…the glory of the Lord had FILLEDthe house of the Lord…” (1 Kings 8:11 KJV).
In both situations, with the tabernacle and the temple, when they were finished or made ready, God’s PRESENCE “FILLED” them. You are prepared when: “…Thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (ROMANS 10:9 KJV). Jesus “… [purifies your]… hearts by faith” (Acts 15:9 KJV). “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV). .“…I will dwell in them and walk among them…” (2 Corinthians 6:13-17 NASB).
God will be EVER present. God’s presence represents a special protection, unlimited favor, and an eternal blessing for the believer. Darkness is the absence of light. Cold is the absence of heat. Evil is the absence of God.
It is of GREAT importance that believers KNOW how NECESSARY the indwelling presence of God is in their lives. “…Ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should BE MINE. …” (Leviticus 20:26 KJV).
God’s wants you to be separated and set apart for your OWN SAKE. It is called holiness. The indwelling Spirit helps you overcome the effects of sin. Overcoming the effects of sin is where true freedom is experienced. “Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin? The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 7:14-25 NLT).
“….if the Son sets you free, you will be FREE INDEED…” (John 8:36 NIV). Freedom from sin is freedom from hatred, bitterness, selfishness, backbiting, unfair judgement of others, envy, jealous, covetousness, debilitating habits, and entrenching iniquities.
Salvation rescues you from the consequences of sin and the effect of sin. The Indwelling Holy Spirit separates and sets you apart from the effects of sin. When the effects of sin is gone it is because pure holiness, the indwelling Holy Spirit, has FREED you "from" sin.
Therefore, holiness, the indwelling Holy Spirit, is relevant to the believer’s true freedom from the effect of sin. “…the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us...” (JOHN 1:14). “…the truth (Jesus) shall MAKE YOU FREE…” (JOHN 8:32 KJV). “…thy word (Jesus) is truth” (JOHN 17:17 KJV). “….if the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be FREE INDEED…” (John 8:36 NIV).
 You can live righteous. You can live free from the effect of sin. You can live holy. You can live a Spirit led life. “For it is God (the indwelling holy spirit) which worketh in you both to will and to do of hisgood pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).
You can do all things, not because of you, but because of the indwelling Holy Spirit. “…It shall be done to you according to your faith…" (Matthew 9:29 NASB). You have faith, because God “…dealt to every man (believer) the measure of faith...” (Romans 12:3 KJV).
Believe that Christ is “IN” you. “…Jesus Christ is in you…” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV). “…Christ in you, …” (Colossians 1:27 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwell inyou…” (Romans 8:9 KJV).  “…if Christbe in you…” (Romans 8:10 KJV). “…if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you…” (Romans 8:11 KJV).  “…Christ liveth in me…” (Galatians 2:20 KJV). “…until Christ be formed in you…” (Galatians 4:19 KJV). “…the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV). “…the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you…” (1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV). “…God hath said, I will dwell in them…” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV).
“I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). Whenever you start acting like or thinking that sin still has an effect on you, ask God for help. The SAME power that raised Jesus from the dead has the power to help you KEEP from from sin.  “...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT).
Sometimes you get weak, emotionally, physically, and spiritually in the journey. It is God’s grace that sustains you in those moments. “…[God’s] grace is sufficient for you, for [his] power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me…” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV).
There is no PERFECTION just because you are “IN” Christ, but there is ALWAYS faith. As long as you use your God-given faith that empowers you to trust in and depend upon the indwelling Holy Spirit you can do ALL THINGS.  However, “….Apart from [the indwelling Holy Spirit]…, you can do nothing…” (John 15:5 NIV). “… [You] can do all things through Christ (the indwelling Spirit) which strengtheneth [you]…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). “…for [HIS]… power is made perfect in weakness…” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV).  
When you get weak and weary, God shows out by INFUSING you with his indwelling POWER and strength. “I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong..” (2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV). God’s “…grace [becomes] … sufficient for [you]…” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV). “...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT).
Remember, “…It shall be done to you according to your faith…" (Matthew 9:29 NASB). In Hebrews 11 it says that by faith… “… [people]… OUT OF WEAKNESS WERE MADE STRONG….” (Hebrews 11:33-34 KJV).
There is no legitimate excuse for NOT living free from the effects of sin. God didn’t leave it up to you. He gave you the indwelling Holy Spirit, which is the SAME power that raised Jesus from the dead. Therefore he gave you everything you needed to live a holy life. “…His DIVINE POWER hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3 KJV). “… [God, through Christ]… freely give us all things?...” (Romans 8:32 KJV). “…Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's [in Christ]…” (1 Corinthians 3 KJV).
If the indwelling Spirit is really within you, it cannot be hidden unless it is eclipsed by an ongoing, entrenching lifestyle of sin. The indwelling Holy Spirit IS “…the invisible [Spirit]…from the creation of the world …CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made …so that [you] are without excuse…” (Romans 1:20 KJV). If you are a repentant believer, Salvation MADEyou brand new. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are BECOME NEW…” (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
God provides his indwelling Spirit (Christ IN you), and something so gloriously, bright, majestic, holy, and full of pure light should be “clearly seen.”
If the believer is still living an ongoing entrenching life of sin or iniquity, especially after knowing about the indwelling  POWER of the Holy Spirit, it would have been better if he or she hadn’t known the holy commandments at all.“..For it had been better for themnot to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandmentdelivered unto them…” (2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV).
“… [IF]..after [having] escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, [you]… are entangled therein and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandmentdelivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb. The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire…” (2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV).
Righteous living is a sign of your RESPECT and HONOR for the presence of God , within you, through the indwelling Spirit. “…God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV). THE SAME POWER THE RAISE JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELLS WITHIN YOU!!“...The (SAME) Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this sameSpirit living within you...” (Romans 8:11 NLT). “...Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the (Holy) Spirit gives you (spiritual) life because you have been made right with God. ...Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do...” (Romans 8:10, 12 NLT).

         UnRee Lynn Deemd stood on the corner with a bucket and cardboard sign begging for food and money. Some people had compassion, some just stared or leered, and some uttered insulting words.          Some people gave her money and others threw their trash in her bucket. She knew people who begged by choice, but she had no choice at the moment.
          This is where UnRee’s life had brought her to and the only thing that kept her going was that someone told her “...the only person who can resurrect you from this life is Jesus. ..” She had asked: “...Where is this Jesus?...”          The lady said: “...He’s around here somewhere...”          “...Where can I find him?...”         “...You don’t have to find him, he’ll find you. He’s always looking for the lost. He deeply loves the lost..”           Unree asked, “...So, is he looking for me, too?...”          “...Probably....” The lady walked away. UnRee was 15 years old when she’d heard about Jesus and now she was 27 years old; living on the street.          The only reason she’d hadn’t killed herself was because she wanted to meet this Jesus. UnRee had been on the edge of suicide multiple times and she’d hated herself her whole life.          Love was an illusion, but yet, deep inside, she wanted to experience the feeling of being loved. She’d lost hope over and over, but she’d hear the woman’s voice saying, “...Probably...” Jesus was probably looking for her and she wanted to be here waiting when he came for her.          UnRee’s mother NEVER loved her. In fact, she hated her. UnRee remembered accidently dropping a bowl of cereal on the floor. Her mother beat her with an electric cord and locked her in the downstairs closet all night. She became familiar with locked closets, scary basements, hungry nights, beatings, angry words, and mistreatment. UnRee was depressed most of the time, she was self-loathing, and she did drugs, when she could afford them, just to “feel” something other than pain.          Her mother made her believe something was wrong with her and the way life had treated UnRee, maybe her mother was right.          UnRee felt she was faulty from birth and her mother consistently said, “...I didn’t ask for you to come into my life. You are a BIG mistake...”          In spite of all the negative treatment from her mother and others in her life, UnRee still sought after the illusive love from a man named Jesus.          Was she really crazy? For 27 years UnRee had been rejected, constantly reminded she was a mistake, was told she was hated, and a disappointing failure of a human being.          This is where she had ended up, on the streets with a bucket and a cardboard sign, trying to survive. Fred also did colorful tricks to make the children laugh and his decorations were fairy tale like.Fred Bennett was also named citizen of the year, held all kinds of sports awards, and had several college degrees.Yet, his victims were everywhere. When he was arrested, 7 victims had come forward, but her mother was not one of them. Fred had molested nine month old babies to 13 year old adolescents and they were all females.He was caught when a 12 year girl got pregnant, just like her mother, and told her parents how Fred Bennett had been “forcing” himself on her for months and threatened her to silence.The parents took the 12 year old to the police to inform them of what Fred Bennett had been doing to her.The police searched Fred Bennet’s properties and found incriminating evidence everywhere. Other victims came forward.Fred Bennett did the same thing her stepfather had done to win his victims over. As a result UnRee was traumatized by her mother.Most people think: JUST GET OVER IT like it’s a cold or something. But survivors like her mother and herself didn’t know or think they had any support system or didn’t think they deserved to be healed.Her mother’s hate and her stepfather’s sexual abuse had affected her and if healing was possible, UnRee hadn’t found the path yet. All she had was that someone named Jesus was “...probably...” looking for her.At the present moment, all UnRee knew is that everything that had happened to her was her fault. Natural DiamondsCrystal lived under the earth with the rest of the Diamond people in Mineville. JESUS CHRIST: THE GREAT SALVATION

“…Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”…” (Acts 4:12 NIV).

 The GREAT SALVATION is not simply about healing a sick body occasional, or providing material needs, or financial break throughs, or for entertainment, or to answer a few prayers, but its greater purpose is the DELIVERANCE of the SIN-SICK and lost soul destined for eternal damnation. “…The Son of man came to seek and to save THAT WHICH WAS LOST…” (Luke 19:10 KJV). “….the Son of Man came …to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28).
The KEY player in this great deliverance is none other than JESUS CHRIST. “…And being made perfect, he became author of ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them who obey him…” (Hebrew 5:7-8-9 KJV).
For the scientific minds, most scholars believe Jesus Christ existed and actually walked the earth, but many differ on their perspective of the facts or the interpretation of the facts. In all fairness, I will say that there are a few scholars that even say Jesus Christ was a myth. “…And without faith it is impossible to please God, because ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS…” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV).
Rarely do you or anyone else question other historical figures to the degree that Jesus Christ has been questioned, yet if you don’t reject their historical facts why would you reject those of Jesus. “…Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written…” (John 21:25 NIV).
Well known Jewish historian and scholar, Flavius Josephus, in the Antiquities of the Jews, a reliable historical work done in the 1st century references and gives witness to Jesus. “…It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me…” (John 8:16-17 KJV).
The actual Jewish Antiquities historical paragraph called the “Testimonium Flavianum” or “The Testimony of Flavius” Vol. 18, chapter 3, and paragraph 3 is as follows: “At this time there was wise man who was called Jesus. And his conduct was good, and he was known to be virtuous. And many people from among the Jews and the other nations became his disciples. Pilate condemned him tobe crucified and to die. And those who had become his disciples did not abandon his discipleship. They reported that he had appeared to them threedays after his crucifixion and that he was alive; accordingly, he was perhaps the Messiah concerning whom the prophets have recounted won.” (Michael the Syrian, translation from Whealey, 2008).
I believe this is 100% a historical, reliable, and authentic account for those who need objective evidence. “… walk by faith, not by sight …” (2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV).
The best source for proving Jesus existed is the bible. “ All scripture is given by inspiration of God , and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…” (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV).
The Synoptic Gospels are also heavily supported by many scholars as having been written by his disciples. The Synoptic Gospels differ on facts and perspectives, yet agree on the many eyewitnesses, ministers, and first-hand accounts of Jesus’ life and death. “…Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were EYEWITNESSES and servants of the word…” (Luke 1:1-2 NLT). “….Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were EYEWITNESSES, and ministers of the word…” (Luke 1:1-2 KJV).  “…For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were EYEWITNESSES of his majesty….” (2 Peter 1:16 NLT).
Reputable bible scholars, after critical analysis of the holy text, offer a rational, but somewhat persuasive view of the historical Jesus, the flesh man. “…the Word (Jesus) was made FLESH, and dwelt among us...” (JOHN 1:14).
Most critical analyses are based on an objective, rational worldview and totally eliminate the mystical worldview of Jesus’ life. Some things are limited to what you can see; others things can only be seen by faith. “… walk by faith ...” (2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV).
Mystical truths can only be understood IF God reveals them to you through his SPIRIT. “….When we tell you these things, we DO NOT use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words GIVEN TO US by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. But people who aren’t spiritual CAN’T RECEIVE these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and THEY CAN’T UNDERSTAND IT, for only those who are spiritual CAN UNDERSTAND what the Spirit means…” (1 Corinthians 2 NLT).
Jesus Christ existed. “… ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS …” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV).
Why did Jesus Christ exist? “….the Son of Man came (existed) not to be served but to serve others and TO GIVE his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28 NIV). “… All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23). “… the wages of sin is death …” (Romans 6:23).
In the Old Testament animal sacrifices provided a temporary covering for sins. “…almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22 KJV). The shedding of blood was commanded by God as an atoning sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
This atoning sacrifice, though temporary and limited, satisfied God for the offenses of sins committed by his people. The animal, representing the atoning sacrifice of the day, was temporary. The animal’s shed blood, covered the sins of the people and freed them from the consequences of their sin.
This is not complicated and it is a very small synopsis of this vast topic. Animal sacrifices took place thousands of years ago and was simply a method God used as the atoning sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.
Animal sacrifices, of course, have LONG stopped. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul…” (Leviticus 17:11 KJV).
Thus, during ancient times certain animals died to serve as temporary substitutes for the people’s sin. It was a temporary substitute only and since it was temporary the animal sacrifices had to be repeated over and over every year. The animal sacrifices, therefore, were a small tedious sample of the ultimate and permanent sacrifice predicted in Jesus Christ, who was to come!!!
“For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near.  Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins? But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year by year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins…” (Hebrews 10:1-4 NASB).
Sin separates God from his people. “… [their] … iniquities (sin) …separated[them]… from [their]… God… …” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV). Jesus Christ became the atoning sacrifice in order to restored God’s people BACK to Him.
The relationship with God through Christ is a blood covenant between God and the believer. This covenant relationship is witnessed between Jesus and God. “… I and my Father are ONE…” (John 10:30 KJV).
A blood covenant is usually between two parties however, one or both of those parties can be a representative for an entire family or a group of people. If one of the parties of the blood covenant is a representative of a group of people, he totally represents every single person, equally, in the group. The representative also is the guarantee that every responsibility or binding agreement of the covenant will be kept by those he represents.
The representative, therefore, acts on behalf of everyone in the entire group. The representative is considered the “voice” and the “guarantee” for each individual member of the group. In other words, each individual member of the group is represented “IN” him.
For instance, when the representative walked through the bloodied bodies in the Old Testament, he “sealed” the blood covenant for every single member of the entire group. This is a very basic explanation of a blood covenant.
However, in the New Testament, Jesus is both YOUR representative and atoning sacrifice in the covenant relationship with God.
Jesus is the slain, Lamb of God, that was killed in your place and therefore the atoning sacrifice for your sins. “…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29 KJV).
Jesus’ sacrificial death was the atoning sacrifice for your sins. “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins…” (1 John 2:2 NIV). You can NOW enter freely into the new blood covenant relationship with God THROUGH Christ. “…This cup is the new covenant in my blood …which is poured out for you…” (Luke 22:20 ASV).
Jesus’ death was like the death of the slain animal sacrifices in the Old Testament blood covenants. His blood is now the blood of the new covenant, which is an everlasting covenant (Ezekiel 37:26). “ This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins ” (Matthew 26:28 KJV).
Jesus is our permanent and once-for-all substitute for sin. His sacrificial death allows you to enter into an everlasting covenant relationship with God through your representative, JESUS CHRIST. “For Christ also died for sins ONCE for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;” (1 Peter 3:18 NASB).
Jesus is both your atoning sacrifice and your representative in the covenant relationship with God. “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;” (1 Peter 3:18 NASB).
Jesus enters the relationship with God as your representative. We, who are “IN” Christ and are represented by Him, enter the relationship too. “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust…” (1 Peter 3:18 NASB).
Now, through Christ, we are able to keep the obligations and responsibilities of the covenant. “For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).  “… I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me…” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). SHOUT!!!
In addition, Jesus became the “guarantee” that the covenant with God is kept. “…Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant…” (Hebrews 7:22 NIV).
We can now enjoy the same “oneness” covenant relationship with God THROUGH Christ. Jesus said, "I and my Father are ONE." (John 10:30 KJV). You can too.The bible says, “…that they may ALL BE ONE; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may BE IN US, so that the world may believe that You sent Me…” (John 17:21-23 NASB).
Jesus Christ existed to become a ransom for many by his sacrificial death. He is also the atoning sacrifice for YOUR sin.
How did the human, existing Jesus Christ become the atoning sacrifice for your sins? “…Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe. And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands….Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man! When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away…” (John 19:1-16 KJV).
“…And he bearing his crosswent forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him…” (John 19: 17-18 KJV).
“..After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost…” (John 19:28-30 KJV).

For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced…” (John 19:31-37 KJV).

There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand…” (John 19:38-42 KJV).
 “…Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you…” (JOHN 20:19-21 KJV).
What motivated Jesus Christ to die on the cross for YOU? “… There is no greater LOVE than to lay down one’s life …” (John 15:13 NLT). “ Herein is LOVE , not that we loved God, but that HE LOVED USand sent His Son...” (1 John 4:10 KJV). “…Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great LOVE FOR US by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners”(Romans 5:6-8 NLT). “ …God SO LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).
Not only Did Jesus Christ love you, but he was JOYFUL about giving you the GIFT of SALVATION.  “…keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the JOY awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame…” (Hebrews 12:2 NLT).
The experience of the cross was a shameful, but temporary part of Jesus’ journey, but the JOY awaiting him was the glorious, but eternal part of his journey.
The eternal Joy held a greater weight for Jesus than the temporary shame of the cross. “…What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone…” (Hebrews 2:9 NLT). “… Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth…” (Philippians 2:9-10 NLT).
The JOY of accomplishing God’s purpose, as a GIFT of SALVATION to sinners, far outweighed anything else or any other agenda as far as Jesus was concerned.
He knew what was waiting for him. “… he [would be]…“crowned with glory and honor .” …” (Hebrews 2:9 NLT). “… [He would be]…elevated …to the place of highest honor …” (Philippians 2:9-10 NLT).
God knew “…when he (Jesus) sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant (Jesus) will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins…” (Isaiah 53:11 NLT).
“… The master was full of praise . ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’” (Matthew 25:21 NLT). “…At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit….” (Luke 10:21-22 NLT).
While on earth, he was faced with deep grieves and sorrows, but his purpose in God incited his JOY in spite of his trials and tribulations. “… Because of the JOY awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame …” (Hebrews 12:2 NLT).
It demonstrates how believers can also experience inexpressible joy while also dealing with the sorrows and griefs of life. The KEY is to remember Jesus’ JOY was drawn from within and his SORROWS from without.
Jesus is the RANSOM for many, he is the ATONING SACRIFICE for SIN, he is your COVENANT KEEPER, he is your GIFT of SALVATION, he is your ETERNAL LIFE, he is the INDWELLING SPIRIT, and he is your EVERLASTING LOVE. “… There is no greater LOVE than to lay down one’s life …” (John 15:13 NLT).
“…Christ died for [your] SINS according to the scriptures;  And …he was buried, and … rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV). “… SIN IS the transgression of the law ….” (1 John 3:4 KJV). “… ALL HAVE SINNED …” (Romans 3:23). “… the wages of sin is death …” (Romans 6:23 KJV).  
Therefore, “… REPENTand TURN TO God …” (Acts 26: 20 NASB).  “…. IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS …” (John 8:24 KJV). “… HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY , because HE HATH NOT BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God. …” (John 3:18-20 KJV). “… REPENT ye therefore, and BE CONVERTED, that your sins may be blotted out…” (Acts 3:19 KJV). “…Whosoever believeth in him SHOULD NOT PERISH, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).  
“… SALVATION is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved…” (Acts 4:12 NIV).
