Writing struggles...
Do I get discouraged as an author? Absolutely! Especially when it comes to criticism about anachronisms. While I try to be as accurate in my work as possible, spending hours on research, unfortunately a few things might slip through the cracks, even after my editor and I have done our best to deliver a good book.

It's beginning to look like October!

Not only did September end FABULOUSLY with a trip to PennedCon in St. Louis (Check out my EVENTS section for pics!), but I also won a contest from The Ripped Bodice to have one of three "fake" books displayed in their window for October! Good to know this imagination gets something accomplished! October started with a bit of fun at work as we celebrated Oktoberfest in the cafeteria with brats and sauerkraut. Of course, I had to take the opportunity to dress up! Halloween is probably my favorite time of the year and since today is rainy and cooler after some hot Missouri days, it really gets me in the mood for autumn :)

The Ripped Bodice
One of the places I want to visit someday is the romance only bookstore in CA! www.therippedbodiceca.com. Until then, I'm a proud supporter of their business and hope that they will carry my books on their shelves someday!

Romance...for Free???
This quote truly sums up why I love to read romance, for the happy ending, of course! That warm feeling you get when a couple finally realizes their love for one another...❤️❤️❤️ Priceless! I am letting you in on a secret...my local library, along with some others in my home state of Missouri, has my debut print book on their shelves! If you have been wanting to take a chance on "Why the Earl is After the Girl" just request it from your library - then you can check it out and hold an actual print book in your hands!
