Birthday Giveaway
I would like to thank everyone who helped me to publicize the amazon kindle ebook giveaway of Candles on The Ganges which I have just run to celebrate my son's birthday.
Having run a previous ebook giveaway I thought I had exhausted public interest so I was delighted to find that exactly 100 people had taken up the offer.
Unfortunately two people appear to have fallen fail of the American time zone starting point for the giveaway and paid for the ebook. When I noticed this about three days into the five day giveaway I contacted amazon kindle and pointed out that these two had probably fallen fail of the time zone difference and asking amazon kindle if they would refund the money to the two customers. They agreed to this request but said that due to customer confidentiality the customers would have to personally apply for their refunds and it had to be done during the giveaway period. With time running out, no idea who the two customers were and the risk that they would get a refund and then run out of time to claim a free ebook without falling fail of the time zone finishing point and end up being charged again I let the matter rest.
Hopefully they meant to buy the ebook unaware of the giveaway or may even think it is worth the money but either way I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to them.

Hi, I have just checked the free amazon kindle ebook giveaway for 'Candles on The Ganges' and it is now up and running for today 28th and tomorrow 29th April.
Not being very computer savvy I nearly signed up for a months free trial of kindle unlimited by accident. So on the left hand side click on '£0.00 to buy' Then on the new screen on the right do NOT click on 'Read for £0.00' but click on 'buy now' below it and a new screen will come up with a price of £0.00.
