Feyland Tales Omnibus – Kickstarter

First off, I apologize that the following exciting news is not to announce the publication of the second Chronicles of the Aranysargas novel. It’s been edited and I swear the next edit will be for the final preparation for publication. I promise you, I’m working on it.
On to the exciting news. My short story, An Artists Instinct is being published I the Feyland Tales Omnibus. My author friend, Anthea Sharp, has been busy releasing special hard cover editions of her Feyland series on Kicks...

Cover Reveal: Missing Wings
I said the new cover for Missing Wings would be out the end of June, but thankfully something went better than expected and the new map came this morning. With all the interior updated, I could publish the new cover, with art by: Ryan Alexander Lee and title work by Artie Cabrera. This cover makes me happy. It’s totally worth the battle I had with the publishing distribution platforms today. It reminded me of the days when I was confident a briefing slide or a printed annex was ready to go, only...

Updates and Announcements
Several exciting things have been in the works this spring. For those who have been waiting on the second book in the Chronicles of the Aranysargas, I am happy to let you know the draft is finished. It goes off to my editor, Shannon at the start of July 2021.
I won’t lie, Shannon is a brutal crusher of dreams and irrelevant: words/characters/scenes/darlings. Based on this, I hesitate to give any publication date promises or predictions. I can say the end is in sight. I’m also asking my prayi...

Going to the moon

I have some really cool news to share: one of my short stories is going to the moon. My friend, Samuel Peralta, announced he is sending every single one of his Chronicle Worlds in the payload he purchased as part of the Writers on the Moon project. This means my story, published in the thirteenth anthology from his series, Chronicle Worlds: Feyland, is included. I’m still in the “pinch me” phase from hearing the big news. Samuel has done a lot of projects with a wide range of artists, author...

Book Review: Recursion
Book Review: Recursion by: Blake Crouch
[image error]
I picked up this book based on my fondness for Blake Crouch’s writing. I’m a fan. He has an impressive catalog of novels, short stories, and screenplays so I was not surprised to find his latest novel, Recursion, a solid read. I give it five out of five stars because I was thinking about the ideas the book evoked when I wasn’t reading it. I had a hard time putting it down and couldn’t wait to pick it back up. Plus parts of the book I found very moving....

Book Review: The Big Sheep
Book Review: The Big Sheep by: Robert Kroese
I give this five out of five stars for an excellent array of characters, laugh out loud humor, the twisting tale to a hidden outcome, and the exploration of the moral dilemma’s that come with advances in our knowledge of the human genome.
What I liked most:
The characters, I can’t help it I have a thing for anything with a nod to Sherlock Holmes. I adored the antics between the eccentric savant and his well-grounded assistant. I’m happy Kroese is...
