Two new books to be released shortly
I have been quite busy recently compiling my second compilation of Cup of Tea Tales, and Another Cup - The Teenage Years will be available shortly. This covers the period from 1966 to 1973. The stories cover the intense time of being a teenager in the North of England during a period of major change. It's not all about drugs, sex and rock and roll, but it was part of the story.
The second book I am well into writing is the follow up to the thriller Dead Men Don't Snore. A Trembling of Finches follows the catalyst for danger, Gordon Bennet and his luckless girlfriend Gabriela Morales, as they visit Gordon's home town of Leeds.
More to come on both books!

Dead Men Don't Snore update
I am well into writing my latest book. I am just reaching the 60,000 word mark and I am feeling quite happy with its progress. Set in Calpe in Southern Spain, the thriller is fast paced and leads the reader on a merry dance, before reaching its ultimate conclusion.
For those who don't know, Calpe is a beautiful holiday resort near Alicante and Bendidorm, but far enough away to maintain its Spanish quality. It is a resort where Spaniards go to holiday and is an authentic Spanish experience. Well worth a visit, when the virus has gone.

Dead Men Don't Snore
I am now well into my new novel in a new genre. This thriller, set in Calpe Spain, is fast and intended for those who like a quick burst of excitement and tension. I am at the the 52000 word point of the first draft and hope to complete the text in about a month.
I will provide more updates later and maybe some ideas about the characters and their foibles.

The end of The Moondial Series
The Moondial Series is now complete with the final book, For All Time, now published. The five books have been a joy to write over the last few years and I have grown to love the characters, both villains and heroes and I hope that you will too.
I am just compiling a collection of my blog posts into the first book about growing up in Leeds in the 1950s and 1960s, Cup of Tea Tales - The Early Years and hope to publish it within the next couple of months. I am now itching to start a new novel and have some ideas ready to go.

Now for something completely different
After the building up of a sizeable following with my blog, Cup of Tea Tales, I was asked by some followers to produce a book of some of the stories. I decided this was sound idea and Cup of Tea Tales - The Early Years is now availble for those who enjoy social history and life stories it tells of growing up in the industrial north of England in the 1950s and 1960s. It is a book written in self contained episodes that can be read in about ten or so minutes, whilst relaxing with a cup of tea.
I have enough material for another book or two so watch out for further additions.

The end of The Moondial Series
It has taken quite a while and been quite a journey, but I have now completed The Moondial Series with the fifth book, 'For All Time'. It has been a real pleasure to write and I have developed my skills with the five books: The Moonchild, Rock God, Hell Fire, Blaze and For All Time.
I am just doing an edit of the first book and will hopefully have that completed in the next few weeks. I am also compiling a collection of my autobigraphical blogs, Cup Of Tea Tales and I hope to release that in the upcoming weeks.
As you can see I am keeping myself very busy, but I am itching to get into my next novel. I love the writing process much more that all the rest that goes along with been an author, but such is the life of an aspiring writer. For All Time
