THE CLIMB Beta Read Period Ends
I’m thrilled to share thatanother milestone has been reached.The beta read period for myupcomingnovel, The Climb,closes on Sunday. For the past two and a half months, a dedicated team of readers have poured through The Climband marked it up with comments, edits, and feedback. Beginning August 1, I’ll start reviewing that feedback, cleaning up and enhancing the story, and getting it ready for publication. I can’t wait to share it with you this fall!

A Letter to Hate from the a Member of the LGBTQ Community
In my upcoming novel, THE CLIMB, the main character, Skyler Phoenix, writes a letter to hate shortlybefore summoning the courage to come out. In the wake of the Orlando shootings at the Pulse gay nightclub, I decided to share the letter with you, since in effect, I wrote it. Summer Writing
If I’m not sitting in my office downstairs…ahem, writing space…then I’m on the back deck enjoying the sights and sounds of nature abuzz around me. The only unnatural sound filling the air is the click-clack of my fingers on the keyboard as the words transfer from my mind to the screen. Exciting News! THE CLIMB Inches Toward Publication!
I’m really exited to share that I’ve finisheda majorround of edits for the THE CLIMB, thenovel I’ve been writing since 2012. Four years later, I’m thrilled to finally transition the book to the beta read stage.
At the time of this post, THECLIMBis just over 125,000 words will be independently published in both electronic and paperback formats in the fall of 2016.
