Book Review: The Darkest Minds, by Alexandra Bracken

I listened to the Audiobook version of The Darkest Minds and I am…conflicted. The story is a dystopian one, set a near-future United States where kids between the ages of 9 and 15 start dying mysteriously from an illness called IAAN. Those kids who aren’t killed off by IAAN develop special powers, and are promptly rounded up andtaken to special “rehabilitation” camps. Nature as Therapy: also known as, the secret to getting it all done

I was pretty stressed last week. My workload at the officewent from a nice moderate pace to drinking from a firehose about 10 days ago. Plus, I am stressing myself out over all of the things I have to do to ready my book for launch on June 14. Update my website; set up author pages on Goodreads and Amazon; plan my book launch party; order bookmarks and business cards; arrange a blog tour; find reviewers; and on and on. And then there is the novella I am trying to edit before Moonburner launch...

Moonburner Cover Reveal!

It’s getting real, guys! Two huge things happened over the last week or so.

First, Moonburner has a launch date! That’s right. On June 14, 2016, you can get your hot little hands on a copy of Moonburner. That’s less than two months away!
