Dark Ember Cover Reveal

Here it is! The official cover for Dark Ember, Book Two in the Darkshine Series. Its official release day is January, 23rd (1-2-3!), and preorders will be available at the end of October. As this month progresses, I’ll post Dark Ember’s opening chapters. I’ll also send out an Orin short story only for email subscribers , which will be emailed out in three or four segments. I can only work on his story when I steal time from life and working on Dark Cinders (Miriam’s third and final book). I don’t have a set timeline for its completion, but once finished I’ll compile it into a free ebook for easier reading. :)

Happy September

Happy September, all. August was a firestorm for me, and I am just now catching my breath. Dark Ember’s beta-readers are trickling to a halt, and it will soon be given to the copy editor. The cover is also getting its final touches, readying for its release. And I’m putting the final touches on the first installment of Orin’s short story, which will be given for free to email subscribers. But for this moment, while I catch my breath from a rough month, I thought I’d share a snippet of the model being readied for the cover photography. The final product will soon come. :)

I’m currently traveling, and using this time to work on the first freebie short story for email subscribers. I decided to ditch my first idea about Miriam’s changeling life, because, well, I didn’t want to spend anytime with Sam. Haha. I need some sunshine in my life, and thus put my focus on an Orin POV story. I’ll release it in email serials, and then, when it is finished, make a neater, complete ebook to send to my subscribers. But I figured for now it wouldn’t hurt to just have some fun with it. :)
