Starting a new reading journey is exciting. It's invigorating. It's challenging.Why?
Because the book you read takes you to a new place, a new scene with a new character inside of a new plot. The challenge comes with trying to keep up with your new friend and find enough time to read about all of his or her adventures. With a five book series, that isn't easy. However, it is worth it.

Until recently, with the start of Ellen DeGeneres' book Seriously... I'm Kidding, I never was a fan of reading celebrity bios and autobios. I never picked one up and said, "I've been dying to read this!"

Yet, there it was. Ellen's book. Just sitting there. So, yeah, I picked it up. I flipped through the first couple pages, giggling, snorting, and realizing I've been missing this whole other world.

The Truth of the Matter:
Research is exhilarating and exciting. It can also be difficult, time-consuming, and annoying. There are times of mass chaos, and those moments of sheer sorrow.
Research is not for the faint of heart.
