Thinking of everyone

I just wanted to send out a warm hello and a note of prayer for the Goodreads family to be healthy and safe as we implement social distancing. Most of us are readers and writers, and I'm definitely finding both modalities helpful as a means to distract myself from news saturation. I'm also gently nudging people to try to reconnect to their personal passions or interests as we navigate this forced pause effect. By reconnecting with our authentic self and personal (oftentimes quiet) joys, we can be more present for ourselves and our families. I'm sending each of the Goodreads' crew across the globe much love, and many prayers for health, joy, patience, and compassion.

Just put out Light Over Dark Water--the finale in a four book series, tracking Elaine and Ian's journey from their initial meeting to the culmination of a volatile past seeking resolution. It's definitely the most intense book in the series!

As a writer, it's been a journey unto itself, but I wouldn't change a thing.
