Poem: Of Gemstones and Precious Metals
You don’t need the smoky colored quartz dangling in your hair,
Or the liquid rubies painted onto your soft lips,
Or the powdered gold dusted onto your eyelids to hide the look of pain.
You don’t need the silver buttons strung up your shirt to make your aura seem pure,
Or the perfect pearls around your throat to tease and allure,
Or the obsidian skirt hugging your thighs to add the finishing touch.
You don’t need the diamond blade to make you bleed imperial topaz onto your marble floor,
Or the...

Prophetic Words #20
Refuse to let your guard down. The enemy is doing what he can to bring plausible temptation that will open the door for him to take advantage of you. If the devil can get the upper hand you will soon be embroiled in an all-out spiritual battle designed to overwhelm you. Now is the time to stand your ground as you set a watch and discern his subtle tactics, says the Lord. Be awake and aware soldier!

Q. Perennial plant, caterpillar’s metamorphoses, and Neo from the movie Matrix, what do they have in common?
A. A die back season; which transforms and change from its former state into another.

“The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.” – Jeremiah 33:11

Maintain your peace at all times, says the Lord. To do that you have to stay focused spiritually and not allow frustration to open the door to an attack from the enemy. Be calm and continue to trust that I will show you the way through every challenge even when it has become a maze of confusion. Preserve your poise.
[Poise is defined as a stably balanced state, equilibrium, self-assurance, gracious tact in coping.]

Wine Usage for Christians: Balance Your Life with Self-Control
God does not forbid the use of drinking alcoholic beverages anywhere in the scriptures. There are many who will argue that you do not need this type of beverage in your Christian lifestyle. I happen to agree with those who say that for themselves, because Romans 14:23 states, “anything that is not done in faith is sin.”
If you believe that drinking wine is a sin for you, then yes! Just keep in mind – if your motive and intent is to get drunk, God’s alright knows. You can never fool Him with...
