Productive Day!

So, I've finished editing Lone Wyr, added the Dedication etc. to the front, tacked the teaser for Book 3: "Panthyr" onto the end, and set it up for copyright and publishing. Yay be! Lone Wyr should be available for preorder in June or July, officially released on Thanksgiving. Currently, I'm planning a Black Friday giveaway and once I've gotten the proofs back and such, I plan to upload it to Noisetrade and Bookgrabbr so those in the know can read it for free. Beginning Editing of Lone Wyr!

It's happened!

I have reached Chapter 17 of Gryphon: Book 7 of the Guardians Series, which is dangerously close to page 300, and I am now fairly confident I've established enough confirmed history to go ahead and correct the abbreviated and lost version we get in Lone Wyr: Book 2. So, taking a pause in Gryphon, I'm going to go back through Lone Wyr, edit, correct, fill in things so they make more sense now that I have more of the story, get rid of extraneous bits, etc.

Yay the books arrived! So excited (as you can tell, I'm half out of my uniform. I got home from work, ditched  my bliuse and cover, and noticed the boxes) and I had to share the moment with everyone!

Yay Second Round of Proofs!

So the second and FINAL round of proofs came in a couple days ago and they were AMAZING! They were everything I asked for: fierce chess knight, lightning, calligraphic silver font, blue smoke, the rose is better than I imagined, the chapter titles are exactly what I wanted, the font's beautiful, all the italicized words are where they should be...the BookBaby design team did a fantastic job, inside and cover!
