[image error]

Friends, I have something to share with you. This has been a long time in the making, and if you are a woman with a business, it might be just what you have been longing for….

I am so thrilled to announce the launch of Hello Soul Hello Business: A Sisterhood For Soul-driven Entrepreneurs.

Running a business is an experience of a lifetime. It’s a creative experience. It’s an intellectual experience. It’s an exhilarating endurance experience. And sometimes, it’s a profound spiritual experience...

Imagine the life of your dreams & begin with why

[image error]

This a guest post by adventurer, author and motivational speaker Alastair Humphreys. Find out more about Alastair here

[image error]

Let’s begin with your dreams.

Allow me to guess a few easy ones for starters:

To be less stressed by work and enjoy more time with your friends and family. To be fitter, perhaps lose a bit of weight, maybe run a marathon, or work up to a big adventure. To spend less time online, envious of what others are up to, and more time having experiences that you’ll remember a ye...

5 upcoming events to help you on your journey to doing what you love

[image error]

When it comes to doing what you love, attending festivals, events, workshops and courses are a great way to broaden your horizons and meet like-minded people who share your passions, understand you, and have similar values.

It’s always inspiring, motivating and encouraging to hear people share their stories and wildest dreams and in time you may even find yourself sharing your own thoughts, motivations and hopes for the future, safe in the knowledge that there is no judgment, and that you re...

Motivate yourself unafraid

[image error]

Did you know that we are only born with two fears? The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Both are engrained in our DNA and are there to protect us and ensure our survival. Every other fear we have has been learned. Which means we can also un-learn it. How? By facing it, by daring to believe, by taking risks, by overcome failures, and by doing it all over again.

You might not always feel it, but there’s a huge amount of courage deep down inside you. You just need to unlock it.

COURAGE

“Lo...

What to do when those around you tread on your dreams {video}

Just recently I was explaining a crazy idea I had to someone close to me and they laughed at me like it was ridiculous. Actually it felt like they were laughing at me like I was ridiculous, which was even worse. They took a pin to the balloon of my optimism and burst it, just like that.

The thing is, when we change and grow, and step into new possibilities, those who have known a version of us for many years cannot always see what we can see. They don’t always understand how our perspective h...

The importance of self care {video}

Self care is a real work-in-progress for me, but know that when I practice it, everything is better. And so I made a little video for you, and also for me, to remind us all that when we take care of ourselves we can better take care of others, as well as having more energy and access to creativity to explore more of what we love. Here you go…

And for any of you who missed it, to celebrate my 40th I am holding a Happy (Birthday) Sale this week, offering our online courses at just £40 (around...

Today is my last day of being 39. Tomorrow I turn 40. I am more excited about it than I expected to be! I have basically just decided to enter my 40s full of hope and gratitude, and embrace all that lies ahead. (If you are in your forties and have any advice, please hit reply and send it on over!)

Treasuring the chaos

[image error]I am writing this at my kitchen counter, glass of wine in hand, dinner dishes stacked high in the sink waiting for some attention. A voice in my head keeps reminding me that my large travel bag is still lying on my bedroom floor, in the exact spot I left it there on Sunday after arriving back from 19 days’ travel in the USA. The floor by my feet is strewn with children’s toys – an open jewellery box with a sleepy ballerina, done with pirouetting for the day; a plastic teapot ready to serve a...

Why taking a leap is so freaking scary {video}

Today I want to talk about something that we don’t often speak of. Something that’s confusing, and difficult, and stops us pursuing our dreams. It’s the paradox of escape.

When a bird or an animal in captivity is released into the wild, somewhat surprisingly it doesn’t burst out of its cage and race headlong into its new world. It emerges timidly, hovering near the cage, clearly stunned by the reality of their new situation, and often looking back several times before tentatively moving away....
