Love, love, love to write. Especially stuff that's scary, tense and freaks people out. Doesn't have to have ghosts. The funnest scenes to write are the ones that hold the reader tight and stops their breathing. So fun. ...more

Then I remembered my mom telling me about her uncle leaving Spain as a very young man. He went to Argentina to work and stopped writing. His mother was sad. Thought she'd been forgotten. Three years later, someone wrote to tell her the sin was dead. Why? Never said.(less)

Author Diana Corbitt's thoughts

Hello all,

I'm a writer, but I'm also a reader. I write children's books that are paranormal mysteries, and I do love anything scary. Doesn't have to be a mystery. Steven King usually does it for me, but he's not alone.

I also like The Louise Penny series. She writes such excellent characters that I can't help but continue on to the next book. I've read them all.

Right now, I'm reading a new series. Read more of this blog post »

“My idea of Heaven has nothing to do with fluffy clouds or angels. In my Heaven there's butter pecan ice cream and swimming pools and baseball games. The Brooklyn Dodgers always win, and I have the best seat in the house, right behind the Dodger's dugout. That's the only advantage that I can see about being dead: You get the best seat in the house.”
