CHANEL SPRING SUMMER 2018 COLLECTION
Affiliate links are marked with a *
The other week I received a very exciting email from the lovely team at *Chanel inviting me along to the preview of their brand new *Spring Summer 2018 collection! I’m such a Chanel fangirl (who isn’t!?) so I was super excited to get a sneak peek at the range and check out some new makeup goodies. Lucia Pica is the Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer for Chanel (WOW!!!) and this year’s Spring Summer collection was inspired by her undying love for Naples, Italy. Each product within the collection reflects the vibrant colours of the city and I’m super excited to show you just how stunning the *Neapolis range really is.
You’ve probably heard me rave about my love for the *Chanel Le Vernis a billion times (the shade ‘Beige Beige’ is my absolute FAVOURITE) so it’s no surprise that these beautiful pastel polishes were the first Chanel goodies to catch my eye. Within the Neapolis collection are the shades ‘Nuvola Rosa’ – a delicious baby pink, ‘Verde Pastello’ – a dreamy mint green, ‘Aranci Vibrante’ – a daring vibrant orange, and ‘Giallo Napoli’ – a beautiful bright yellow. I don’t tend to stray from my nude comfort zone too often, but these colours are SO stunning that I think I’m going to have to take a risk and try something different! I’ve got a feeling that mint green is going to be my go-to as soon as the sun makes an appearance. B-e-a-utiful!
I was super excited to discover some new eyeshadow shades in the Neapolis collection. I’m a sucker for their *Ombre Première Longwear Cream Eyeshadows because they’re really easy to use, super buildable and stay pretty much perfect from morning til’ night. This one in the shade *‘Verderame’ is new to the range and I’m totally obsessing over that sea green colour…stunning right!? Also new to the collection is the beautiful *Les 9 Ombres Eyeshadow palette which has a whole range of gorgeous shades from shimmering pearly pink, to deep petrol blue. I’m excited to play around with this palette and see what kind of looks I can create!
I wanted to take a second to mention this beautiful *Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade ‘Nero Volcanic’ which is absolutely stunning. I can totally see myself using this along my upper and lower lash lines as a change to my usual brown liner. I’ve also been feeling the urge to rock a soft wing lately and I feel like this liner is just the right tool to create that look! Of course I would finish things off with a couple of coats of the gorgeous *Dimensions De Chanel Mascara for some added va va voom!
I am OBSESSED with the *Chanel Rouge Coco Glosses so I was super excited to discover some new additions to the collection. First up we have the shade ‘Aphrodite’ which is the bright blue tube! On first impressions Aphrodite looks terrifying (anyone else thinking of Joey from Friends when they see this? lol) but it’s actually pretty much colour-less. It’s super sheer but if you apply this on top of something like a true red lipstick it gives it more of a pinkish tone which is cute. Also new to the collection is ‘Sibylla’ which is a pretty pink, ‘Poppea’, a gorgeous red, and the limited edition shade ‘Parthenhope’ which looks like a sheer, shimmering peach kinda shade. Defo try the Rouge Coco Glosses if you haven’t already!
Next up are these beautiful lip to cheek products, but what’s super annoying is I can’t actually find the link to them on the Chanel site! Maybe they’re coming out soon? Basically while I was at the collection preview one of the makeup artists applied a light layer of the light pink shade (on the right) to my lips, cheeks and eyelids and it looked absolutely stunning! The product itself is really creamy and creates a lovely natural-looking flush of colour on the skin. I’m really excited about these so I hope they’re released soon!
The last product I want to tell you guys about is the incredible *Poudre A Lèvres which is an entirely new product to the Chanel collection. This is a lip balm and lip powder duo and I’ve never seen anything like this before! Basically what you do is apply the balm with your finger tips and then use the brush to tap some of the coloured powder onto the centre of the lips before blending it out with the fingertips. I’ve always been really into that effortless lip stain effect (Jeanne Damas slays that look!) and I think this product is going to be amazing at achieving that.
I’m always excited to discover the Chanel collections and I’m really looking forward to playing around with some of these products. Which is your favourite product from the *Neapolis collection? Leave me a comment and tell me know which one you’re swooning over the most!

MARCH BEAUTY FAVES

I know it feels like just yesterday that I sat down and filmed a favourites video but lately I’ve found myself falling in love with SO many new products that I just couldn’t resist telling you guys all about them! March has been a real skincare month for me but I’ve also discovered a lot of exciting makeup products over the last few weeks and I’m excited to share those with you. Let’s get started!
The first product that I want to take a second to mention is the beeeautiful *Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser. You guys know by now that I’m a huge fan of things like bb and cc creams, so when I found out that one of my all time fave skincare brands (Caudalie!) had released their own tinted moisturiser I was super excited to get my hands on one of my own! What I love about this particular tinted moisturiser is that it’s great at helping me to achieve that ‘barely there’ base that I love to wear. It blends really seamlessly and gives my skin a subtle natural-looking glow. I just knew I was going to love this stuff!
Also on my list of loves for this month are the gorgeous *‘Gen Nude’ Patent Lip Lacquers by Bare Minerals. What I love the most about these glosses is that they smell amazing (like seriously YUM!) but they’re also super wearable, long lasting and comfortable on the lips. They come in a ton of beautiful colours but my faves are definitely ‘Bae’ and ‘Can’t Even’. I feel like these are the perfect, lightweight formula for Spring and I’m excited to experiment with some different shades!
You guys know by now that I’m a little bit in love with Glossier (ok a LOT!) so when I found out that they were releasing their own range of cream eyeshadows (called *Lidstars) I was SHOOK. Like literally Glossier, sign me up and take my money!! What I love the most about these *Lidstar shadows is that they’re soooo easy to apply. I literally just take the applicator, dab a little bit onto my eyelid and then blend it out with my fingertips. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the shade ‘Cub’ which is a beautiful shimmering pinky gold shade, and I’m also really excited to experiment with the shade ‘Moon’ which is a gorgeous silvery white colour. I’m so happy these Lidstars exist and I would highly recommend that you try them out if you’re as Glossier obsessed as I am!
Earlier this month I was lucky enough to receive the *Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Blush Glow in the mail *squeals*! You’ve probably heard me talking about the *Filmstar Bronze and Glow Duo before (which I absolutely love!) I only take a teeny weeny amount of the blush onto my brush but even a small dusting helps to give my cheeks a lovely, healthy looking glow. I lurrrrve Charlotte Tilbury and this palette didn’t disappoint!
Of course it wouldn’t be a true favourites post if I didn’t mention a perfume I’ve been loving! This month I’ve been obsessed with a fragrance that I picked up while I was in Paris which is ‘4.1 Le Musc & La Peau’ by Parfumerie Générale. You guys have probably noticed by now that breaking down fragrances isn’t my strong point, but I would describe this as of those perfumes that smells like it could be your natural scent. Whenever I wear this perfume I’m pretty much guaranteed to get complimented on how good I smell, so definitely check it out if you’re into warm, skin-like scents.
The last makeup product on my list of favourites for this month is the *Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in the shade ‘Uncensored’. This lip paint is seriously INCREDIBLE…not only because the colour is absolutely stunning, but also because it stays pretty much perfect all.night.long. If you love wearing red lipstick but (like me) you find that it’s a bit of an annoying and high maintenance colour to wear then THIS lip paint is the one for you. Not even kidding, this stuff stayed perfect EVEN after I ate a huge cheeseburger! You need this in your life!
Onto the skincare now and I just have to tell you guys about the amazing *‘Waso’ Fresh Jelly Lotion by Shisedio. I got this a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been using this every other day after my cleanser. To me the formula kinda feels like an essence, so I’ll usually apply this lotion right before my serum and moisturiser. It’s a really lightweight, liquidy texture and it’s incredible at giving my skin an extra surge of hydration. LOVE!
The next two products were recommended to me by my good friend Katie Jane Hughes (the makeup queen!) and I’ve been using them both religiously ever since! First up is the amazing Weleda Skin Food which I’ve actually used before but only ever on my elbows or on dry patches of skin, I’d never even thought to put this on my face! Katie told me to use this on the plane and honestly…I was SO shocked and impressed with the results. This stuff really helped to lock a layer of moisture into my skin and I’ve never stepped off of a plane feeling so refreshed and hydrated in my life! Katie also told me that I needed to get my hands on a pot of the Boundless Solid Oil by 8 Faces and OMG I’m so glad I did! Try it out if you’re curious!
Another skincare product that I’ve been loving is the Guerlain Repairing Honey Gel Mask. This is definitely more of a high end mask, but if you’re looking for something that feels super luxurious then this is the mask for you! I’ve been loving using this after my cleansing mask to really put the moisture back into my skin, it gives me a much-needed surge of hydration and leaves my skin feeling nourished and repaired. Give it a go if you’re a Guerlain fan like me!
A more affordable mask that I’ve been enjoying is the Caudalie ‘Radiance in 10 Minutes’ Glycolic Peel. This is a really gentle mask which makes your skin feel sooooo smooth and gives it a boost of brightness and radiance. I love love love to use this in the mornings because it does a great job at prepping my skin ready for my makeup and also helps to give me that ‘wide awake’ look. I would highly recommend trying this if you’re looking for something that gives your skin a healthy boost!
Last but not least I just had to take a minute to talk about the Fresh Seaberry Revitalising Shampoo and Conditioner. I picked this up while I was in New York and I actually had no idea that Fresh even did haircare!? I bleach my hair A LOT so I’m always on the hunt for haircare products that promise to nourish and protect it. What I love about this shampoo and conditioner combo is that they leave my hair feeling super soft and full of life. The formula of the Seaberry shampoo and conditioner is specifically targeted for colour-treated hair so if you’re a blondie like me then you HAVE to try these out!
So that concludes my beauty favourites for this month. I feel like I’ve fallen in love with some really beautiful products during March so I’m excited to see what new products April might bring with it. What have you guys been loving this month? Leave me a comment down below and let me know what’s been floating your beauty boat this Spring! Also don’t forget to give my video a watch if you want to find out a little bit more about some of the products I’ve mentioned. Hope you enjoy it!

NEW IN FROM THE DRUGSTORE!
Last weekend I decided to treat myself to a little bit of a Boots shopping spree. I was despo to pick up some drugstore essentials and I was also hoping to get my hands on some new releases. I think I was a little too early for any new products for Spring (maybe I’ll go back soon?) but I did manage to get my hands on some cute new items to add to my makeup bag. It’s been a while since I filmed a drugstore haul so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show you what’s ‘new in’ in my beauty collection.
A drugstore range that I’m suuuuuuuper excited about is actually the brain child of my bestie Jules Von Hep! If you didn’t already know, Jules is a professional tanner for celebs around the world and he’s just released his very own collection of self-tanning colour correcting products called ‘Isle of Paradise’! A lot of you might know that I’m not usually all that into tanning but I’m really keen to give Jules’ creations a try. I picked up a bottle of the Self Tanning Water (which actually comes in light, medium and dark!) and I think I’m gonna love this because it’s sooooooo lightweight and lovely. The Self Tanning Drops (which you can combine with your everyday moisturiser for a more natural finish) look neat as well as a bottle of Tan Eraser (which helps to remove any excess product.) I’m really excited for Jules and I just know you guys are going to love this collection. Make sure you get your hands on some Isle of Paradise goodies and let me know what you think!
Since I’ve been travelling a lot recently I’ve been on a mission to find more mini versions of things to chuck in my suitcase! Something I just had to throw in my basket was this *adorable mini Wet Brush. I’ve been a huge fan of Wet Brushes for years and as soon as I saw this cute lil yellow one I knew I had to have it! Wet Brushes are amazing at effortlessly removing knots and tangles without damaging your hair or snagging. I also picked up a packet of Oral B 3D White Luxe Floss…(glam!)
Of course it wouldn’t be a trip to the drugstore if I didn’t pick up my all time favourite *Garnier Micellar Water, right?! I was also completely out of hairspray so I decided to kick it old school and pick up a mini bottle of the *L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray to pop in my suitcase. I actually used some of this spray this morning and OHMYGOD the smell got me feeling sooooo nostalgic! It totally took me back to the first time I ever started using hairspray! What I love about this stuff is that it doesn’t leave my hair looking or feeling crispy (lol!) it’s a really lightweight spray and does a great job at keeping my style in place all day.
Onto my favourite part now…THE MAKEUP! First things first let’s take a minute to appreciate our familiar friend…the *Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. If you’re an OG viewer you’ve probably heard me talk about this foundation a billion times over the years so you’ll know just how much I love this stuff. I get the shade 51 ‘Light Vanille’ which is perfect for my skin tone, but what I love the most about this foundation is the texture. It’s actually a gel foundation which means that it glides onto your face so seamlessly and feels sooooo effortless to apply. I’d kind of forgotten just how much I love this stuff so I’m excited to have this back in my life to fall in love with all over again.
I also picked up one of the teeny weeny *Real Techniques Mini Face Brushes to apply my foundation with (seriously the best brush ever!) and decided to try out the *L’Oréal Infallible 24 Hour Concealer Pomade. Since getting it home I’ve realised that I picked totally the wrong shade for my skin tone which is super annoying, but I think if I went back and got a lighter version I’d probably really like it!
Of course I couldn’t visit the makeup section of Boots without trying out a new lip product so I decided to give one of the *L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine Lipsticks a whirl. I chose the shade ‘642’ which is a really beautiful pinky nude. I adore this colour and I also love the way the formula feels on my lips. I was surprised by just how nourishing it felt and it gives my lips a gorgeous shine (hence the name!) I just know I’m going to be reaching for this shade a lot during the Spring! I also picked up a couple of the *L’Oréal Paris Eye Paints which I’m really excited to try! I decided to treat myself to the shades *‘306 Nudist’ which is a great everyday brown shade, and *‘101 Eternal White’ which is a beeeeeautiful shimmering silvery white. The formula of these eye paints is silky smooth and I feel like they’re going to be really buildable. I’m a huge lover of cream shadows so I can tell I’m going to be using these A LOT.
I decided to try a couple of products by Cerave (no idea how you pronounce that!) and I’m really excited to see what I think of them. I picked up a bottle of the *hydrating cleanser, as well as one of the *moisturising lotions. I tend to be a little sceptical about straying from my favourite drugstore skincare products (as I have VERY sensitive, dry skin) but since these have been approved by the National Eczema Association I think they’re actually going to be really gentle. I’ll let you know how I get on!
I couldn’t leave the store without treating myself to a big bag of *Magnesium Flakes! If you know me, you’ll know I take quiiiiiite a lot of baths and my favourite things to sprinkle into my bath water are magnesium flakes! Magnesium is great for soothing aching muscles and bones so I love to treat myself to a couple of handfuls whenever I’ve been to the gym. All you do is add a cup or two of the flakes into your running water and then sit back and soak soak soak! If you’re a bath person you need these in your life!
So I hope you guys enjoyed getting a little peek into my Boots bag! Like I said I was kinda hoping to discover some new releases in the drugstore but I think I was probably a little too early! Maybe I’ll head back in the Spring and see if there are any new goodies on the shelves. What are your favourite products from the drug store? Is there anything that you think I’d love to try? Leave me a comment and let me know!

NEW IN FROM WOLF CIRCUS
Some of you guys might remember a post I put together back in the Summer about one of my favourite independent jewellery brands, Wolf Circus. Wolf Circus know I’m a huuuuuge huge fan of their stuff and were kind enough to send me some pieces from their stunning collection to love and wear (*squeals*) so I just had to pick up my camera and show you what they sent. Although I’m a loyal fangirl of bigger brands like Missoma and Daisy London jewellery, there’s something about supporting the smaller, lesser known brands of the world that I love! Wolf Circus is my go-to destination for beautiful, unique pieces with a twist and I’m super excited to start integrating these new accessories into my wardrobe.
I’ve been having a bit of a thing for earrings lately so when I saw that Wolf Circus had kindly gifted me these STUNNERS I got all heart eyed. I recently got a new piercing (I think it’s called a rook piercing?) so playing around with different studs is something that I’ve been really enjoying doing. Wolf Circus sent me the beautiful ‘Franca’ earrings (the twisty ones! No wonder they’re sold out) as well as an ‘Oval Chain’ pair. I absolutely love the way that both of these earrings look with my usual everyday studs (and my new Maria Tash sleeper!) I feel like these Wolf Circus earrings really epitomise what this brand is all about; totally unique and super cool designs!
For bracelets I usually stick to wearing just my favourite Daisy London ‘Chakra’ bracelet, but now I have this beauty in my collection I feel totally inspired to start wearing more bling on my wrists! This gorgeous piece is the ‘Maggie’ bracelet and I absolutely ADORE it! Sadly it’s sold out but here’s a similar one! This is such a dainty piece but I feel like the unusual chain gives it a bit of an edge. It’s super simple but packs a punch at the same time. Love it!
I’m the kind of person that feels naked if I leave the house without my rings on and I’ve loved collecting rings ever since I can remember! I’ve been on the hunt for a signet style ring so when Wolf Circus included this beauty in my gift box I couldn’t believe my luck! This is the ‘Femme’ ring and I think it’s actually one of my favourite rings I own now! Much like the ‘Maggie’ bracelet, this ring is such a classic shape, but the intricate detailing gives it a unique edge. I’m excited to wear this with my favourite shirt from Paloma Wool which is also covered in naked ladies!
Last but certainly by no means least is this stunning pearl necklace which you might have already seen if you follow me on Insta! This is the ‘Pearl Lariat’ necklace and what I love about this is that magical freshwater pearl at the end of the chain. I’ve been super into layering necklaces lately but I feel like this one has to be worn on its own because of its sheer beauty! I’m excited to wear this over funky t-shirts and sweaters but I also think this would look absolutely beautiful with a really deep v-neck top (like > this one < maybe?) I feel like every single piece of Wolf Circus jewellery is super versatile; they’re great at adding something special (but not too ‘in your face’) to a casual, everyday outfit, but they’re also really amazing pieces wear to an event or a party. Whenever I wear my Wolf Circus ‘Art Deco’ studs someone ALWAYS asks me where I got them! Definitely check out Wolf Circus if you’re a fan of super unique, great quality jewellery. Let me know what your favourite piece is in the comments! P.S. Thank you SO much Wolf Circus for sending me these beautiful goodies to add to my collection, I adore them!

Wanna know what products I’ve been obsessed with this month? Grab yourself a seat, pour a cup of tea and let me tell you all about them…(P.S. stay tuned at the end of the post to watch my beauty faves video!)
Before I kick things off with the skincare I just wanted to take a minute to mention a haircare product that I’ve been obsessed with recently. If you watched my latest hair tutorial then you’ll have spotted me using the amazing *Sam McKnight ‘Cool Girl’ Texturising Mist to achieve my go-to messy curls. I have a couple of other Sam McKnight products in my haircare drawer, but lately the texturising mist is the bottle that I’ve been reaching for the most. It’s a really lightweight ‘barely there’ spray which helps to give my hair a little texture and grit. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy like some of the other texturising sprays that I’ve tried, it just helps me to achieve that undone ‘effortless’ look that I LOVE! (It also smells great!!)
Onto skincare now and the stand out product for me this month has to be the *Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser. Enriched with Hungarian Moor Mud, this gentle cleanser helps to neutralise damaging free radicals and protect my face against pollution. Despite being almost clay-like, this cleanser is actually really gentle thanks to its dreamy concoction of lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus oils which soothe and refresh the skin. I’ve been really enjoying using this stuff as my third (yes, THIRD!) cleanse and honestly my skin has never felt sooooo clean.
Alongside the Omorovicza Cleanser, I’ve also been loving my bottle of *Fresh ‘Black Tea Kombucha’ Facial Treatment Essence to rid my skin of harmful pollutants, and my tub of *Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream to give my face a surge of much-needed moisture. And yes…I’m still obsessed with Mixa! This month I’ve been particularly enjoying the *Cica Repair Lotion which does an amazing job at nourishing my dry skin. I always look forward to using this whenever I step out of the tub or shower! It’s a dream to apply and smells almost good enough to eat…(it’s also super affordable!)
Something that was new to my skincare collection this month is the Gallinée Cleansing Bar. This is actually a soap-free soap…interesting, right? What’s great about this stuff is that it’s gentle enough to use on your body AND your face, and does a great job at soothing the skin while cleansing at the same time. It’s packed with probiotics which do an amazing job at fighting bad bacteria, alongside lactic acid which is known for its hydrating and softening properties. I’ve been really enjoying it!
I have an on/off kinda relationship with sheet masks. Sometimes I’m into them…sometimes I’m not, but this month I’ve been absolutely obsessed! Over the past few weeks I’ve been switching between the *Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask (which is suuuuper hydrating AND affordable) and the *Lancôme Advanced Génefique Melting Mask (which is a more luxury option). I only tried the Melting Mask the other week but it’s already one of my favourites! Once removing the mask (I left mine on for about 30 minutes) I just massaged any excess product into my skin. Afterwards my face felt really soft and full of moisture! I love both of these!
Onto the makeup now and one of the products that I’ve been reaching for the most is the *Revlon Cream Eyeshadow in the shade ‘710’. You might have heard me talk about my favourite cream shadow by Charlotte Tilbury in the shade *‘Bette’ and I think the reason that I love this Revlon shadow is because it’s actually a really great, slightly more affordable version of that. It’s one of those products that works for both day and night because it’s super buildable and REALLY easy to apply. For lashes I’ve been loving the *La Roche-Posay Masacara in the shade ‘Respectissime’ because it gives me ultimate volume and length that lasts all day! For the face I’ve been reaching for my *Lancôme Dual Powder Foundation which I like to use to set my makeup for the day.
Lately I’ve found myself reaching for my *Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in the shade ‘First Love’ pretty much all the time. This blush gives my finished makeup look a really natural-looking pop of colour with a glowy finish. I love it! Lips wise I’m still obsessed with the *Dior Lip Glow Pomade, it’s great for those ‘no makeup’ makeup days because it adds a subtle tint to your natural lip colour. My number one makeup product for this month though HAS to be the *Fenty Gloss because it’s simply stunning! I’ve been really enjoying pairing mine with my favourite *Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner in the shade ‘Incognito’. I feel like I’m going to be wearing this combo for the rest of the year!
So those are all the things I’ve been reaching for during January. Definitely make sure you watch my video if you want to hear me talk about them in a little more detail. I’d love to know what you guys have been loving this month! Leave me a comment down below and tell me what’s been floating your beauty boat over the past few weeks! Also don’t forget that I always leave all the links to the products at the bottom of this post. Happy shopping!

VALENTINES GIFT GUIDE
Affiliate links are marked with a *
I can’t believe it’s that time of year AGAIN but Valentines Day is almost upon us and the stores are stocked full of all-things-lurrrrrve. I’m not the biggest van of V day itself, but sometimes it’s nice to use the day to show someone that you love and appreciate them. For me, Valentines isn’t strictly for the gf’s and bf’s of the world, I think Feb 14th is the perfect opportunity to celebrate ANYONE who means something to you; whether that’s your bae, your bestie or maybe even your secret crush! I’m also a strong believer that showing someone you love them doesn’t have to mean expensive gifts, sometimes the smallest of gestures (like a cute mug or a cozy pair of socks!) can mean the most. With that in mind, I’ve tried to include a bunch of different stuff to suit every budget and every person, so I hope you guys find this useful!
First up I thought I’d kick things off with a little bit of giftspiration for bae. Since it’s V Day I couldn’t help but include something like this super cute *lacey bralet and *matching pair of briefs. I don’t know about you guys, but I think there’s something really special about receiving some undies from the one you love. I also think bath time gifts always go down a storm and this *Moroccan Rose Bath Oil by Ren looks like the definition of dreamy. For a smaller gesture, how about this pack of *Hi-Chew Grape & Strawberry Bites (I LOVE these!!)? You can never go wrong with something sweet, amirite?
*CUTE BRALET | *CHEEKY BRIEFS | *HI-CHEW BERRY BITES | *REN MOROCCAN ROSE BATH OIL | *‘ROSE’ SWEATER | *LANCÔME ROSE MASK | *HOOP EARINGS | *FLORAL SOCKS | *RMS LIP 2 CHEEK | *GLOSSIER ‘YOU’ PERFUME
I don’t know about you guys, but I find men SO hard to buy for…especially around Valentines day! Aslan likes to take care of his skin so I’ll usually treat him to something that he probably wouldn’t buy for himself like this luxurious *Aesop facial oil or one of those beautifully wrapped *soaps by Fresh. If your bf isn’t all that into skincare how about something like this adorable *‘Date Night Cookbook’? It’s packed with yummy recipes like baked bananas and campfire treats…delish! I also spotted this lovely *‘Mr.Cool’ mug on the Oliver Bonas site which I thought was really sweet. (P.S. You can never go wrong with a fragrance, right? The *‘Cannabis Santal’ Eau De Parfum by Fresh is the definition of dreamy!)
*OUAI STYLING POMADE | *FRESH SOAP BAR | *YUMMY CHAMPAGNE TRUFFLES | *FRESH CANNABIS SANTAL EAU DE PARFUM | *‘MR COOL’ MUG | *AESOP FACE OIL | *FOREO MINI CLEANSING SYSTEM | *DATE NIGHT COOKBOOK
Valentines Day doesn’t have to be all about the baes, why not show your bestie how much you love them? I found myself scouring the *Skinnydip site and couldn’t resist including this adorable *‘girl gang’ pin and this funky *‘babe’ sticker in this post. Sometimes the smallest gestures mean the most, right? If you and your bestie like to do movie night on the sofa then you definitely can’t go wrong with something like a *snuggly sweater or a *cozy pair of cashmere socks. For the bff with a sweet tooth there’s this super cute *‘Best Friends’ cookie by Buiscuiteers…just make sure you remind them that sharing is caring!
*WILD HEARTS CLUB SWEATER | *‘BABE’ STICKER | *BFF COOKIE | *‘GIRL GANG’ PIN | *SNUGGLY CASHMERE SOCKS | *COVER FX SHIMMER VEIL ‘BLUSH CHAMPAGNE’ | *‘DAMN GIRL’ MAKEUP BAG | *LANCÔME MACAROON CREAM BLUSH & BLENDER DUO | *HERBIVORE ROSEWATER CREAM | *DIOR APRICOT NAIL CREAM | *CUTE GOLD STUDS
Self love is important, right!? So on this day let’s not forget that it’s ok to treat ourselves to a little bit of something we fancy. Lately I’ve been OBSESSED with Rupi Kaur so I couldn’t help but include her new collection of poems *‘The Sun & Her Flowers’ in this post. I’ve also been swooning over the lingerie section on the &OtherStories site, they have the MOST beautiful selection of cute bras and knickers! I’m in lurrrrve with *this embroidered satin bra and matching bottoms! If you fancy treating yourself to something special, definitely make it your mission to pick up one of the *‘Rose Delight’ candles by Diptyque. I’ve been burning mine almost everyday!
*‘NO VACANCY’ FLUFFY HEART STICKER | *DIPTYQUE ‘ROSE DELIGHT’ CANDLE | *GORGEOUS MOLTEN GOLD HOOPS | *GLOSSIER STRETCH CONCEALER | *STUNNING SATIN BRA | *MATCHING SATIN BRIEFS | *‘AWESOME PEOPLE CLUB’ MUG | *GLOSSIER CLOUD PAINT CREAM BLUSH ‘PUFF’ | *RUPI KAUR ‘THE SUN & HER FLOWERS

MY HAIR STYLING ROUTINE

A lot of you guys are always asking me how I do my hair, so the other morning I sat down in front of my camera and showed you exactly what products and tools I use to achieve my go-to style. My favourite way to wear my hair is that effortless messy/wavy/beachy look and it’s something that I feel like I’ve finally got a handle on! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t claim to be a hair expert in any way, shape or form, but if bed head hair is your thang (like it is mine) then I’ve got you covered.
I thought I’d kick things off by talking you through some of the shampoo and conditioners that are currently sitting in my shower! I tend to have a lot of different products in my shower at any one time because I just love trying new stuff. The products that I used this morning (as I’m typing this!) were the *Redken ‘All Soft’ shampoo and *conditioner. This is a combo that I’ve been using for YEARS and that’s because it’s always been amazing at nourishing my dry hair. Lately I’ve also been reaching for my *Pureology ‘Hydrate’ shampoo and *conditioner which you’ve probably heard me talk about a million times. This duo smells incredible because they both have a really nice minty fresh scent which kinda makes your scalp feel all tingly after you use it (in a good way lol). Again, these babies are great for those of you who suffer with dry or damaged hair.
If you watched my latest vlog then it’s probably no surprise to you that I just have to take a minute to mention the gorgeous *Garnier Ultimate Blends Argan Richness shampoo and *conditioner. I’ve used the Garnier Ultimate Blends range A LOT over the years and my favourite has always been the *Honey Treasures duo. I didn’t think anything could ever win my heart like the Honey Treasures range but ever since I discovered the Argan collection I’ve been obsessed! The Argan Richness shampoo and conditioner is formulated with a blend of argan oil and almond cream which are both amazing at intensely nourishing and softening the hair. I’ve really enjoyed using this combo lately. (They also smell insanely delicious!) Watch my vlog if you want to discover part of the process that goes into making this collection!
Once I’ve hopped out of the shower the first product that I always reach for is the *Mane ’n Tail Detangler. This stuff does pretty much exactly what it says on the tin and to use it I just spray it all over my hair (making sure to get underneath the different layers). I try not to overdo it with the detangler because sometimes if you use too much it can make your hair feel a little heavy or greasy, but a light layer does just the trick. Once I’ve sprayed that on I’ll reach for my trusty *Tangle Teezer (don’t know what I’d do without that thing!) and gently brush it through. I know a lot of people are quite afraid of mousse but once I’ve brushed through my hair I’ll take a little of my favourite *Densimorphose Mousse by Kerastase and run it through from the root to the tip. Don’t be daunted by the word ‘mousse’, this stuff is really lightweight and just helps to give your style some volume and staying power!
Once I’m all moussed up I’ll go ahead and dry my hair – I use the *Dyson Supersonic which is literally life changing. Once dry, I’ll gently run my fingers through it before clipping up the top section with…you guessed it…da clip. Sometimes I’ll leave my hair straight but typically I like to add a few curls for some va va voom. Before curling (with my fave *Hershesons curling wand) I like to apply a light spritz of the *Ouai Soft Hair Spray to give it some texture and grip. Make sure you watch my video if you want to see exactly how I curl my hair, but basically once I’m done with the wand I’ll reach for my bottle of *Sam McKnight ‘Cool Girl’ Texture Mist and spray it through before messing it up with my fingertips. The last step in my process is to take a little bit of the *Ouai Matte Pomade and run it through my hair to smooth any fly aways.
Let me know if you guys found this useful! Definitely make sure you watch the tutorial down below if you want to see me do this process step by step IRL. Also if you guys have any product recommendations that you think I might like then I’d love for you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think I should use!
