Kindle Countdown Problems

The Kindle Countdown Deal on Echoes of the Ancients apparently has not gone live as scheduled.  My advertising page is still claiming that it’s “scheduled” for October the sixth, so it may be that I got the time zones wrong and it’s going to go live later today.  I’ve contacted Amazon support to find out what’s going on, but I can neither view nor change the promotional details at this time.  I’ll keep everyone posted on what’s going on, as soon as I know something.

Echoes of the Ancients Kindle Promo Tomorrow

Life News

I’m going on vacation for the next week.  I’ll have internet access, but not a lot of time to use it.  So nothing much is going to happen in the next week or so.

The week after that, the Kindle Countdown Deal on Echoes of the Ancients will go live on October sixth, and last until October thirteenth.  I’ll post again about it before it goes live, but I just thought that I should remind everybody.

End-of-Sale Report

Well, I was able to send twelve dollars to Oxfam for hurricane relief, which I just did.  I suppose that’s not much by established author standards, but it makes a difference to me, and hopefully makes a difference to someone who’s had their house wrecked by the hurricanes.

I’ve finally established the countdown deal for Echoes of the Ancients.  It runs from October sixth to October twelfth, but the best time to buy is from the sixth to the eighth (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) when the price is all the way down to ninety-nine cents.

The book is here.  Unfortunately, it won’t come to Smashwords for three months, because I’m going to try to take advantage of the Kindle Countdown sales that Amazon offers, and those only apply to KDP Select books—that is, three month Amazon exclusives.
