Single life, married life, divorced life and even remarried life, this author has filled each of those shoes. Since the age of 13, author Rick Fort came to realize that many would come to him just to talk about their problems. Something about him triggered many to confide in him, ask for advice or just be someone to vent to. Being a song writer that wrote his first song at age 8, he started putting his thoughts to music in the form of love songs. Through the years he continued writing music and the requests for advice continued. Eventually, during the 90’s he started a website focused on “how men think” as well as articles on “from a man’s perspective.” Upon receiving many rave responses from readers, Mr. Fort began to sum up much of his advice for women in a book, All Men ARE Dogs, YOU are the Dog Trainer.

Mr.(Almost) Right Synopsis Ella is a strong and independent woman getting closer to the big 40. She realizes that she's been wasting her life in a relationship that doesn't lead anywhere and doesn't bring her any joy. Colin has been taking her for granted for too long thinking that she’d accept their relationship as it was just because she’s a full figured woman and she is self-conscious about how she looks, even though not all the time. 
Nonetheless, Ella decides to take control of her life again, so she cleans house and starts hunting for Mr. Right or Mr. Approximately Right, because she knows that looking for perfection was an illusion. She chooses to start her hunt in a singles bar and there she meets Mark, a man she wouldn’t have chosen herself. He’s handsome and he’s definitely a guy who’s addicted to a healthy life. She knows from experience that such a man wouldn’t look twice at her. However, he notices her and worms his way to her table and into her life.
The problem is that Ella’s looking for a lifetime relationship while Mark’s looking to score. Will Ella turn Mark into Mr. Approximately Right or will Mark run for the hills when he gets wind of her intentions? 
If you’re looking for a love story that starts with faux pas and a bunch of laughs, then this is the story for you. There might not be poetry involved but love is better when you can laugh and when you can see the real person behind the person with whom you fall in love. Just a thought!

I love writing, pure and simple. I write first for myseIf, but, having completed an article, story, poem or book,  if I find that other people are also entertained by it, imagine my sense of happiness.
When I am writing I try to make people think about topics, some serious and some not so serious, a mix of humour, social observation, political opinions. I try to write in a way that is both amusing and, in some way thought provoking, useful or educational. My readers have often told me that they really enjoy how I challenge their ideas about life.
My bilingual books can be a great aid to both adults and children who want to practice and improve their English or Spanish language skills and who want to, at the same time, smile about the world. My children’s books, some of which are bilingual, are presented in an illustrative and didactic way and are a fantastic learning joy for the little ones. 
There are so many reasons why I choose to self-publish my books, instead of trying to find a publisher. The main reason is that I want the freedom to publish what my readers like and what I want, not have to conform to someone else’s ideas about how my thoughts should be presented. With self-publishing, I have total control over content, style, illustrations, covers and much more. 
I am a very happy, positive person. When I see a problem that I can help with, I make myself available. I co-founded a charity in Uganda, Infancia Uganda, three years ago to help and support children and women in a village there. I try to talk to people and to offer advice based on years of life experience. I am about to start a course in hypnotherapy so that I can help people with more serious problems, like anxiety.
My hobbies are observing people, sport, music, travel and music, a lot of music.

About Beverly Knauer

I grew up with my mom, dad, brother, and two sisters, in Needham, Massachusetts, then Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Other than spending hours playing in the wooded forest behind our house, what I remember the most from my early years is my desire to write; I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was ten years old, when my mother bought me the book Sal Fisher at Girl Scout Camp. I promptly began my own novel, with lined paper and fountain pen in hand, and called it Beverly Knauer at Girl Scout Camp. Okay … not very original. My next book, written at age twelve, was called My Life with the Indians.
 
After I received my bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I moved to sunny San Diego, California, where I served in the role of Chief of Rehabilitation Services for the County of San Diego, working with other occupational and physical therapists who provide therapy to children with special needs. I received my master’s degree from San Diego State University.
 
When not writing, I enjoy wine tasting in the quaint city of Temecula, going barefoot whenever I can, spending too many hours on Pinterest, and indulging in chips, guacamole, and margaritas (frozen, with salt on the rim) while catching up with friends. I like long walks with my pal, Jack—a black Lab—along the seashore, where the crashing waves of the pummeling surf absorb the sounds of the city, providing a means of restoration and introspection, while we scavenge among the seaweed for shells for my collection. My newest passion is crocheting dog sweaters for lonely, abandoned dogs at the animal shelter.
 
I’ve always loved exploring esoteric wisdom and chose to become a writer to communicate transformative life experiences in the form of visionary fiction. The Line Between is my debut work. Currently, I’m finishing up my second novel, The Soul’s Hope.

Lyra is a novelist, singer-songwriter, poet, and playwright.  Having grown up in Bellingham, Washington, Lyra is a nature and animal lover with a ferocious love of epic stories of every genre, but especially sci-fi and fantasy.

My name is Rowena Dawn, and “ Double-Edged ” is the first of my “ The Perfect Halves ” series, which will include four books.

I live in Toronto with my daughter, one calico cat and one crazy pug. I write romance, read thrillers and watch comedies or crime drama series. I like walking through the woods with my pug but I insanely love the sea.

I have a love - hate relationship with my writing and I have a terrible talent to drive my dog crazy whenever I don't stop writing to take him out. And yes, I bake: bread and cakes. They must be good enough as I have a constant demand for baked goods.

I’m crazy about a good mystery and am a big fan of Dan Brown, John Connolly, Agatha Christie and many others. I also write crime novels under Roxana Nastase.

This series Perfect Halves will have four books and all of them will be about love, adventure and conspiracies. You will meet all male characters in this first novel, which will be a sun-drenched romance whose heroine is an independent woman. She finds the love of her life and her happily ever after and has the adventure of a lifetime. The hero of the story is an alpha man who, despite his machismo, falls hard for the heroine and he will do everything in his power to make her love him back. Stuck in a rut, Kate takes to internet dating to spice up her life. Little did she know the detour her life was about to take! A mysterious stranger, a far-east adventure and burgeoning romance come together in this fast paced romantic adventure, leaving our heroine out of sorts, depending on a man she's only known a few days.

How did you feel about writing your first book? – I felt the urge to write. I had a story and needed to be said.What was different between writing your first book and writing now? – When I wrote the first book, I had much more confidence in my writing. Now, I keep thinking and rethinking things.Where is your favorite place to write? – I like to write in my back yard, however, with the change in weather that might not be possible anymore.  If you could do it all over again, would you change anything about any of your books? – I would develop my characters more and I would try to make the action more suspenseful.How long do you spend researching and writing a book? – I don’t have a specific recipe, however I always research everything.Do you ever put yourself or parts of your life in your books? – Unconsciously, yes. One can’t avoid doing it.Anything that you’re working on right now? – I’m working on a new novel – it will be released this month. It is always a romance.Advice to budding writers: not everybody can like a book; there will always be people that have hoped to read something different. Don’t take it personal.
