EXCLUSIVE: ‘Hurt’ Renewed for special episodes in 2023

Craig Selbrede (left) is returning as showrunner and star of the award-winning dramedy series ‘Hurt’ for two special episodes set to air in 2023.

Ahead of the Season 1 premiere of Hurt, the eclectic mental health dramedy developed by Craig Selbrede and Liam Gilbey has been renewed for two additional episodes, bringing the series order to nine total episodes. (The first four episodes of the series will be released as Part 1 in November, and the latter 3 as Part 2 in January).

“The critical response to Hurt from the film festival circuit has been thrilling to say the least,” Selbrede reveals. “So, while we aren’t ready to commit to a full second season yet, continuing the story seemed really natural and luckily, Liam was down to craft something really clever and fresh for the specials.”

While details on the specials are scarce, Selbrede could confirm more details about the cast and crew. Returning for Chapters Eight and Nine alongside Selbrede and Gilbey is Alvin Edwards III as Fin Snell, who took on the role of Fin following the departure of Anthony Phelps in June 2022 and will continue in a “Main” capacity. Julia Watson, who plays Sara Scriven, will feature as a guest actor in the specials, which will be directed by returning directors Gavin Matthew and Anastaisia Brady, respectively. Sonia Forcada, who acted as co-showrunner for the initial seven episodes, will not be returning, and there are currently no immediate plans to see more of series regulars April Valentine, Kyra Radomsky, Jessica Yin, and Livisha Renee.

“There are a few reasons for the turnover we’re seeing” Selbrede explains. “Mostly it came down to scheduling, but also, we saw an opportunity to create something really insular and personal for Stone and Fin with these two specials. They immediately follow the powerful Season 1 finale, and they take the story in some really interesting directions.”

Selbrede confirmed that the search has begun for several new series regulars. “You’ll see some fresh faces, for sure,” he relates. “Staying tight lipped on that until casting wraps. But, you know, we’ll see some new things.”

‘Hurt’ follows the complex friendship of two recent college graduates as they plan for their own deaths.

EXCLUSIVE: Selbrede and Phelps to lead ‘Hurt’

Craig Selbrede (left) and Anthony Phelps (right) will be fronting the dramedy webseries developed by Selbrede and Gilbey.

Hurt, the eclectic mental health dramedy developed by Craig Selbrede and Liam Gilbey, has officially announced its two leads. Selbrede himself, along with Anthony Phelps, take over the roles of Stone and Fin, respectively, after a lengthy casting search. Phelps has been attached to the production since March of this year, but was only recently moved into the role of Fin. Selbrede has, of course, been with the series since inception but only took on the role of Stone after exploring other options and going through some auditions of his own.

“I actually did a first self tape months ago that I don’t think anyone was too thrilled with,” Selbrede recounts. “After our last few leads on Stone ended, I gave it another shot and gave a performance I was much happier with. I am thrilled to be approaching this project from a new angle and I’m excited for you all to see what we have prepared.”

‘Hurt’ follows the complex friendship of two recent college graduates as they plan for their own deaths. It is most likely set to release in 2023.

Since the initial project announcement in January of 2022, the project has seen Sonia Forcada come on board as a co-showrunner. Producers include Maz Taylor, Benjamin McWhirter, and Cole Hediger, and directors include Forcada, Taylor, Gavin Matthew, and Cardo Wanzer.

Previously announced in starring roles are April Valentine as Bex, Kyra Radomsky as Quill, Julia Watson as Sara, and Jessica Yin as Andrea.

“I am so excited for the world to see the work Liam and I have done to tell an utterly unique story about mental illness” Selbrede said. “‘Hurt’ is a powerful, hilarious, heartstopping story about life and death and everything in between.”

EXCLUSIVE: Selbrede and Gilbey set ‘Hurt’ for 2023.

Liam Gilbey (left) and C.M. Selbrede (right) unite to pen a unique new comedy-drama tackling mental health.

Relic may be coming in 2022, but that’s not the end of ACC Pub Ink’s foray into amateur webseries… The Electric/Eccentric is thrilled to officially announce that Hurt, a 7-episode quirky comedy-drama is entering pre-production, helmed by Craig Selbrede with scripts from Selbrede and Liam Gilbey.

‘Hurt’ follows the complex friendship of two recent college graduates as they plan for their own deaths. It is most likely set to release in 2023.

“I am so excited for the world to see the work Liam and I have done to tell an utterly unique story about mental illness” Selbrede said. “‘Hurt’ is a powerful, hilarious, heartstopping story about life and death and everything in between.”

Casting is currently underway for the series leads. Filming is set to begin and end in the Summer of 2022. As with all webseries, especially with the current health crisis, Hurt’s production is not guaranteed… but, according to Selbrede, “we’re in a good place.”

Starlight #15: Not of Blood

Cad (Narration): I’m learning things are rarely as simple as they appear.

Castor and Nala stare, stricken, at Mr. Emmens.

Nala: Malcolm was always an alien?

Mr. Emmems: Yes. He crashed in our yard as little more than an infant, and… we took him in.

Castor: You took in an alien as your son?

Mr. Emmens: He was just a child.

He looks away.

Mr. Emmens: And now he’s dead.

Nala: Holly saw you with alien technology though.

Mr. Emmens: We cannibalized portions of his ship and reverse engineered the tech. So far we’ve discovered a new source of energy, created anti-gravity pistols…. and so much more. But that’s not important. What’s important is that you let us discover who murdered our son privately. This investigation is a family matter.

He takes a deep breath.

Mr. Emmens: Somebody broke into my home, killed my son, stole an anti-gravity pistol, and–

Nala: …it was a rock.

Mr. Emmens: What?

Nala: A rock broke the window. It came from outside. But with an anti-gravity gun…

Mr. Emmens: …it could’ve been pulled from inside. What are you saying?

Nala: I’m saying you have the order wrong. Somebody stole an antigravity gun, killed your son, and used it to cover their tracks.

Mr. Emmens: That’s impossible. The only people who know about the alien technology are my wife and child–

His eyes widen.

Mr. Emmens: No.

Cad: Case in point.

Cad and Hunter rush back in the van, an urgency in the air.

Cad: Come on, come on, come on, pick up…

The telephone rings and rings.

Hunter: Nobody’s answering. Cad. You have to go ahead.

Cad: But–

Hunter: I’m right behind you. Go get them.

Reluctantly, Cad turns to Starlight, removing his clothes to reveal his costume. He flies into the air.

Cad: I’ll let you know what–

Hunter: Go!

We cut to Parker’s house. His family room is in ruins. Parker is hiding behind the couch as Millie approaches, anti-grav gun in hand.

Millie: Its a shame, Parker. For someone of your class, you were pretty handsome. Its a shame you know too much.

Parker: You don’t have to do this.

Millie: I don’t. I didn’t have to do any of this. I didn’t have to kill my brother. But it was for the greater good.

A disgusted look crosses her face.

Millie: I’m the real heir. He isn’t even of blood! But he was going to get the company. I just know it. Just because his grades were a little better.

Parker: Um… sorry?

Millie: Not as sorry as I am.

She raises the couch with the anti-grav gun and Parker scrambles out awkwardly. Eliza comes up behind her with a vase and tries to hit her on the head, but Millie whips around and slaps her away. The couch comes crashing down.

Millie: Now, where were–

Starlight crashes in through the door and stands between Millie and Eliza.

Starlight: Leave them alone.

Millie: A superhero. Cute.

Cad: Maybe I can talk her down.

Starlight: It’s too late, um, ma’am. By now the truth has come out.

Millie: Oh, really? You expect me to believe–

Her phone rings. She glances down. It’s her Dad. Millie goes pale.

Millie: No…

Starlight: Sorry.

Millie: Oh well. My father always was sentimenal and weak.

She whips around and hits Parker with the anti-grav gun. He starts falling upwards.

Parker: Augh!

Eliza and Cad: Parker!

Starlight streaks up after Parker as he crashes through the roof and goes tumbling towards the heavens. He powers after him, just a little behind, just a little too slow…

Cad: Come on, come on, come on…

He burst ahead and grabs Parker.

Parker: Cad! I’m still falling up!

Cad: I noticed!

Cad tries to fly downward but they remain stuck, cancelling each other out.

Millie stalks towards Eliza down below.

Millie: Sorry darling, it’s time for you too.

Eliza glances at something over Millie’s shoulder and Millie turns, only to be punched in the face, hard, by Nala.

Nala: I always thought you were a b****.

Castor scrambles in, Mr. Emmens behind them.

Mr. Emmens: Millicent! What have you done!

Millie: What I had to.

Castor: No offense, but that seems like 100% untrue.

We cut back to Cad and Parker. Cad’s failing and they’re tumbling upwards.

Parker: Leave me, dude! Save yourself!

Cad: I think I can breathe in space.

Parker: Good for you!

Cad: Park, if this is it… you’re the best friend I’ve ever–

Parker: What the ****?

Cad: I said, you’re the best friend I’ve ever–

Parker: No, look!

A shadow falls over them. Another spaceship sits above them, identical to the one in Littleville, except not torn to pieces.

Cad: Well, that’s new.

A tractor beam comes out of the spaceship and tugs them in. Everything goes black.

We cut back down to below.

Millie: You never loved me, Dad. I wasn’t special. Not like him.

Mr. Emmens: That’s unfair and you know it.

Millie: I don’t know anything of the sort.

Nala: It’s over, Millie. Give it up.

Millie: Not even close–

Suddenly, there is a flash of light. The room is filled with a crew of aliens, the same species as Mal was, along with Starlight and Parker.

Millie: What the–

Mr. Emmens: Augh!

Castor: Holy–

Starlight: Everyone, calm down.

Parker: They… come in peace.

The aliens say something unintelligible.

Starlight: They’ve come here looking for their lost grandchild.

Parker: We, uh, told them the truth, and uh…

One of the aliens steps forward, and abruptly, hugs Mr. Emmens. Tears stream down both of their cheeks.

Alien: thank you.

Mr. Emmens: …

They separate.

Starlight: They appreciate everything you did for Malcolm.

Mr. Emmens: But I couldn’t protect him.

Starlight: They know. Which is why they want her.

Everyone turns to Millie.

Millie: What? I–?

The aliens say something again.

Parker: They say they won’t hurt her. They just want to help her like you helped him.

Starlight: They forgive her. But she still needs to see what she’s done.

Millie: Don’t be ridiculous, I…

Mr. Emmens: How do I know I can trust them?

Cad shrugs.

Starlight: They saved us.

Cad: Like I said, things are rarely what they seem. And things can always get weirder.

We watch as the aliens take a furious Millie onto their ship, even as a distraught Mr. Emmens watches.

Cad: And nothing is weirder than family.

Parker’s dad comes home and sees the mess.

Parker’s Dad: Parker…..!

Parker’s dad marches upstairs, makes a beeline to Parker, and…

Parker: Dad, I–

…hugs him.

Cad: They come in all sorts.

Castor is sitting in his home when suddenly a butler pokes their head in.

Butler: Master DuPont? Your parents would like to talk.

Castor: I’m not interested in whatever they have to–

Butler: They say they know you know. And it’s time you learned about the family business.

Castor looks surprised.

Cad: And I guess that’s what we are.

Team Starlight gathers in Parker’s home, helping to patch it up. They share small smiles as they work.

Cad: A family. Does Team Starlight need to exist? Absolutely not. But I’m glad it does.

Next: Five By One!

How it Began (a Relic blog post)

The story of Relic could begin in many different places. It could begin with two, the first amateur webseries I produced, or with Cedric Clarke & the Unsettling Dark, the project that this series was birthed from. It could begin when I started to write, or when my friend Zoe and I came up with the basic idea for Relic oh so many years ago as a novel pentalogy. For the purposes of this brief summary, we will start my junior year of high school… and skim a bit until we get to the good stuff.

I made the decision to start making webseries with the help of my friend, Cristin, my junior year of high school, following a series of unsatisfactory participations in my school’s theater productions. Together, we had collaborated on a short film for my Creative Writing class sophomore year, and we had some interest in trying something new. Therefore we banded together a cast and crew and against the odds produced 10 30–50 minute episodes over a mere six months… a miraculous feat when the complexity of our schedules and the scripts are to be considered. This experience kicked off a hunger in me.

Image for postArtwork by @cykelops of my first webseries’ leads

Fast forward to college. After several years of attempting to revive my first webseries, I finally put something new together with the help of Olivia Dimond… a short webseries called Cedric Clarke & the Unsettling Dark which would eventually be cut off by the global outbreak of coronavirus. While we were filming Cedric Clarke, I had already begun work on a potential Season 2 due to my ambitions. Since I was planning on studying abroad at the University of East Anglia this year, I decided to film a plotline for the season abroad in the UK. After much confusion and awkward reaching out, I managed to make contact with the UEA Filmmaking Society, who connected me with Elle Rose Guyan.

Image for postCedric Clarke’s cast

When it became clear that COVID-19 would prevent the completion of Cedric Clarke, Elle and I took a step back and reconsidered our Season 2 plans. Since, at the time, nobody knew just how long this would last, we thought we stood a chance at filming at least something in the UK in 2021. I pulled out an old novel pitch I’d worked on with my amazing friend Zoe Traub, and we workshopped it. Though I didn’t expect much interest, I reached out to the Filmmaking Society again… and, it turns out, a lot of people were interested in helping out with a wholly original project. We brought in our amazing writers room at this time, notably including Jack Hawes, whose ideas for the series would help redefine the pitch and give it direction.

While COVID-19 prevents Elle and I from assuming our original positions as showrunners, we have happily passed off the mantle to two hardworking Relic crew members who were already basically doing the job: Henry Webb and Idunn Marthinsen. I remain on as a writer and generally as an overseer of the mythos… which you might see branch out in other forms, if we’re lucky! But for now, the focus is set squarely on producing five high quality episodes for all of you to enjoy.

That’s the story of how Relic began. Stay tuned for more information on writing, casting, and all the rest of the process!

Starlight #14: Littleville

We begin with Cad and Hunter driving into Littleville, a small quaint farming town in Kansas.

Cad (Narration): Just a few hours ago, I was debating whether Team Starlight needed to exist. And, I mean, it’s still a good question. But right now, split up into three different teams, investigating an alien murder mystery? I kind of see the appeal.

They pull into the driveway of an abandoned-looking farm.

Hunter: Nice place.

Cad: For real.

Cad and Hunter slowly make their way through the abandoned farmhouse.

Cad: Hello?

Hunter: Anyone?

Cad: Hunter and I are out here investigating a farm on file with the murdered alien’s DNA. We have no idea what we’ll find here. We don’t know what we’ll find.

Nothing turns up. They meet back on the porch helplessly.

Cad: We don’t know if anything will turn up. But we have to try.

Hunter: Hey Cad… how about the barn?

Cad’s gaze flits over to the crumbling barn. We cut to them at its doors, locked with a complex padlock.

Hunter: Can you…?

Cad: Sure.

Cad closes his eyes, goes starry, and opens them. He grunts and crushes the padlock in hsi hands.

Cad: Unh…

Hunter: Nice.

Cad: Nailed it.

The doors swing open and Cad and Hunter find themselves face-to-face with a glowing, silvery spaceship.

Hunter: …I think we’re in the right place.

Cad: You know what? I think you might be right.

Cad: We’re not the only ones looking for answers.

Nala and Castor approach the Emmens mansion. They share a look.

Nala: Ready?

Cas: Sure.

Cad: Mr. Emmens was seen with alien weaponry. We think he might’ve been replaced. Nala’s looking into that.

The door swings open. Frank stares coldly at them.

Frank: Miss Highland. Mister DuPont. You were expected.

Nala: I need to talk to Holly.

Frank: I’m afraid Master Emmens would like to see you first.

Cad: And Parker and Eliza? They’re on babysitting duty.

We briefly cut to Parker, Eliza, and Millie, still watching TV.

Cad: We have a lot to unpack, and something tells me not a lot of time to do so.

Cad and Hunter peer around the spaceship.

Hunter: This thing’s covered in dust. It must’ve been here for a while.

Cad: So this invasion is a long term thing?

Hunter: Maybe.

He frowns, taking in a part of the spaceship which has been stripped bare.

Cad: What is it?

Hunter: The ship… it looks like it’s been stripped for parts.

Cad: I guess the aliens needed the tech to survive here.

Hunter: Maybe. But… they did a pretty bad job. Look at this mess. They destroyed some of the components of the ship just to get some of these pieces out.

Cad: Yikes.

Hunter: Yikes indeed. Maybe…

He trails off.

Cad: Maybe?

Hunter: I’m starting to think this is more complicated than we had thought.

There’s the sound of a shotgun clicking.

Voice: Step away from the ship.

Cad and Hunter raise their hands as a country-looking man approaches, shotgun leveled at them.

Man: What the Hell do you two think you’re doing?

Cad: Sigh.

Eliza and Millie are laying on Parker’s couch when Parker enters, laptop in hand.

Parker: Hey.

Eliza: Hey.

Millie (Softly): Hey.

Parker: I have a surprise.

Eliza: Oh?

Parker: I found the TV shows you were on. I figured we could watch a few, if you’d like.

Millie: I… I would. Very much.

She takes Parker’s hand.

Millie: Thank you.

We cut back to Cad and Hunter as they face the man.

Man: Who are you? What are you doing here?

Hunter: He’s Cad. I’m Hunter.

Man: Cad? What kind of name is Cad?

Cad: Short for Cadmus.

Man: Still strange, son.

Cad: Fair point. Look, sir, we don’t want any trouble.

Man: Then why are you snooping around in property that doesn’t belong to you?

Hunter: Does it belong to you?

Man: None of your business.

Cad: Please. We just want to find the truth.

Man: Again. None of your business.

Hunter: We have to find out what happened to Malcolm Emmens Junior.

The man blinks.

Man: What happened to Mal?

Cad and Hunter exchange a look.

Cad: Well…

Hunter: You wouldn’t believe us if we–

Man: Cut the bullshit. What. Happened.

Cad: Mal was replaced by an alien.

Hunter: Who was murdered.

For a moment, there is silence.

Man: Wow, you fellas have no idea what you’re talking about.

Nala and Castor are seated in an office across the desk from Mr. Emmens. For a moment, there is silence.

Mr. Emmens: So.

Nala: Where’s Holly?

Mr. Emmens: Holly?

Nala: Your housekeeper? What did you do with her?

Mr. Emmens: She was getting hysterical. I sent her home for some rest.

Nala: Oddly, I don’t trust you.

Mr. Emmens: But you should. Miss Highland, our families have been close for a long time. Not long enough for me to forgive your… inquisitive nature. But long enough for me to give you one last chance to mind your own business.

Nala: Where is the real Malcolm Emmens Senior?

Mr. Emmens: I am the real Malcolm Emmens Senior.

He stands up, and goes back to a knife mounted behind his desk.

Mr. Emmens: You know the thing about the alien you saw? He reverted back to his form the moment his blood was exposed to raw air. Cuts, scrapes… they all forced him back to his default shape.

Castor: …cuts…

Mr. Emmens: So let me assure you.

In a swift motion, Mr. Emmens uses the dagger to cut his hand. He bleeds, but nothing else happens.

Mr. Emmens: I’m 100% human.

We cut back to Cad, Hunter, and the man.

Man: You know this house belongs to the Emmens, right? It was a sorta vacation home of theirs for years. It holds great sentimental value to them.

Hunter: How so?

Man: Well, they came here to escape the spotlight when their children were born.

Cad: Millie and Malcolm?

Man: Mhm.

Hunter: So when did the aliens arrive?

Man: Look, kids, this really isn’t any of your business.

Cad: trust me.

He glows starry.

Cad: It is.

Man: Hm. You remind me of him, you know.

Hunter: Who?

Man: Malcolm Junior. He wasn’t human either.

We return to Nala and Castor.

Nala: Holy–?

Mr. Emmens: So you see… I’m on your side.

Nala: This doesn’t prove anything. We don’t know that–

Castor (Softly): Nala.

He places a gentle hand on her.

Castor: Mal was a hemophiliac.

Nala’s eyes widen.

Nala: …He was always careful not to bleed.

Mr. Emmens: And now you begin to see the truth.

He steps back, wiping his hand.

Mr. Emmens: My son was always an alien.

We return to Cad and Hunter.

Cad: Malcolm Emmens Junior was the alien?

Man: Afraid so. Crashed here, just a wee babe. The Emmens took him in, raised him as their own.

Hunter: And they must’ve taken the tech too. The way this ship was stripped for parts… they must’ve been reverse engineering it.

Cad: What does that mean?

Hunter: I mean, using a spaceship? They could find new power sources, learn more about anti-grav engines, and–

Cad: No, I mean. If Malcolm was always an alien, who killed him?

Millie and Eliza have dozed off as Parker watches the TV show. Millie is onscreen, playing a victim of a crime.

Officer: Can we get you anything else? Water? Food?

Millie (Bitterly): Like I’d eat anything in this–

She catches herself.

Millie: I’m… sorry.

Officer: What you saw…

Millie: I… I…

A tear trickles down her cheek.

Millie: I can’t.

Parker frowns.

Parker: Wait, but–

Realization dawns. Carefully, he shakes Eliza awake.

Parker: Eliza, Eliza, wake up. There’s something weird about this. Millie was acting to us earl–

There’s a click. Millie faces them, an alien gun raised at them.

Millie: Go on, Parker. What were you saying?

Poem: Particles

Particles drift from my skin into the air
They flake off and flare up and smooth the tear
Once, long ago, I was dark as the sea
But now I look into the water and the reflection isn’t me.

Things change and skies break and we spin towards the end
We hold onto each other and covet the touch of a friend
Once, days ago, I could hear the stars sing
Today I listen in silence as they continue to ring

ACC ’21

[image error]Made via LogoMakr.com

It’s been an eventful year. A lot has changed for everyone, myself included, but I’m privileged enough to be coming at you with a slate of new reveals and teases for the new year. Probably not a lot of surprises, but a lot of interesting stuff that will hopefully pique your interest.

Before I begin, I want to acknowledge the elephant in the room… ACC Pub Ink’s shifting focus. When it began, this initiative was all about promoting and exploring the worlds of my novels. While I do still have some things cooking in the Blue Division, the focus has definitely shifted to our film and media division (Pink). You’ll definitely see that in the slew of upcoming announcements.

purple division

First up, a progress report on ACC Pub Ink’s Purple division, which handles web content.

[image error]Made via LogoMakr.com

Electric/Eccentric will be returning with brand new content in 2021! If you haven’t noticed the logo at the top of this blog, E/E is this blog. It’s been on an “off-season” for much of 2020, but it will soon be returning with brand new content, including…

Starlight – My psuedo-comic book series about an amnesiac superhero will return with new issues! To catch up, look for the “Starlight” tag on this blog!Anna, Farmer – My irreverent children’s book about a girl and her farm will return with new chapters! To catch up, look for the “Anna, Farmer” tag on this blog! Some new features I’ll announce when I announce the return of Electric/Eccentric’s on-season…Alongside a slew of poetry, memoirs, short stories, and more!

Pink Division

2021 will be the busiest year yet for ACC Pub Ink’s Pink Division. Please note that what follows is a list of projects In Development, and while some are farther along than others, none of them are guaranteed until I announce a premiere date!

The following projects are in production or the late stages of pre-production…

[image error]Relic concept art

Cedric Clarke & the Unsettling Dark was unable to complete filming due to the global outbreak of COVID-19. However, the cast and crew will be reuniting this upcoming break to record the missing scenes over Zoom, which will then be edited together with any completed scenes. Look out for more information, along with the release of an official premiere date. Right now I expect Cedric Clarke to arrive sometime in Q1 2021. As a reminder, Cedric Clarke follows a young man who is forced to investigate his own murder. Relic is a five-part fantasy webseries filmed and set in Norwich, UK where I would’ve studied abroad if not for the coronavirus. Filming commences in 2021. Unlike my other webseries, Relic will premiere on a separate YouTube channel as it is a co-production with Unthank Productions, the Filmmaking Society of the University of East Anglia. Relic follows Rory Raines, a young woman bonded to the soul of a dragon. I’ve learned so much working with my new British friends, and while this is my first project which I won’t be showrunning, I have the utmost confidence in the new executive producers, Henry Webb and Idunn Marthinsen.

The following projects are in development or the early stages of pre-production:

Relic: New World is my most ambitious project to date: A two-season limited series set in the same world as Relic, New World follows a magical creature as they embark on a journey of self-discovery. New World’s two seasons are expected to film in Summer 2021, and the series will premiere on ACC Cinematic sometime after Relic‘s first season is released. I’m really excited about this one, I have a great team assembled and some really fun ideas. W5 is my codename for a small-scale webseries which may or may not be produced I’m developing based on an idea of Olivia Dimond’s. It’s a short mystery set at Bates College, and it would likely film sometime in the 2021-22 school year. I can’t say much more about it!

Speaking of secrets, I have a podcast in the works. Even compared to most of my projects, this one is precarious, so I really can’t say more. As soon as I have an idea of whether or not this one is doable, I’ll let you guys know. If it does work, however, I will be a very happy Craig.

I have one final project under Pink Division…

The Clubhouse is a series of Zoom readings simulating a mockumentary sitcom of mine loosely based on my high school experience. It’s laugh out loud funny, and has a lot of heart, and we’ve recorded at least one episode for your enjoyment (Episode 3!). We still are figuring out how many of the scripts we want to produce, and how often these Zoom recordings will be released, but at the very least, Episode 3 will drop January 8, 2021 at 7 PM.

If that’s not enough for you, well, I don’t know what to tell you.

Blue Division

Finally, we have what was once the heart of ACC Pub Ink. I’ll be honest, 2021 isn’t looking particularly fertile when it comes to my books… my self-publishing platform being weird coupled with my focus on the Pink Division has really slowed down work on The Outsiders Club, which was announced… God, I think like three or four years ago? If I continue to have a block on TOC I’ll start work on a different novel, which will hopefully be added to my 2022 offerings.

And that’s all she wrote! Obviously, there’s a lot to do and several things that remain uncertain, but I promise I’ll get dates to you all as soon as I have a better idea of how things are going. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a safe holiday season!
