Interview with EmilyReadsEverything
Good morning! The sun is shining and I am buzzing on my second cup of coffee already! A few pieces of news:The first draft of my YA/NA side project, The Thing That Howls, is complete. I finished my first full read-through last night, and you guys...I'm freaking out. I can't wait to start polishing. Action-packed Fantasy, a little bit of sizzle, complete as a standalone (although...I couldn't help myself. There is plenty of room for a sequel.)I was offered some freelance editing work, and I'm

Wink Poppy Midnight - Jacket & Review
WINK POPPY MIDNIGHTBy April Genevieve Tucholke[AMAZON JACKET ]The intrigue of The Raven Boys and the "supernatural or not" question of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer coalesce in this young adult mystery, where nothing is quite as it seems, no one is quite who you think, and everything can change on a dime. Every story needs a hero. Every story needs a villain. Every story needs a secret. Wink is the odd, mysterious neighbor girl, wild red hair and freckles. Poppy is the blond bully and the

Hello Again!
I've been a bit MIA lately, and I've missed the blog immensely! I was lucky enough to spend a week out of the country, and since my return, I've spent every spare moment I have tackling the second draft of STOWAWAY. I'm also pounding out a side project that I just could not get out of my head: a YA Fantasy tentatively titled, The Thing That Howls. As promised, my reviews of Wink, Poppy, Midnight, by April Genevieve Tucholke, and ACOTAR, by Sarah J. Maas, have been scheduled. I've also managed

TBR - A Court of Thorns & Roses
Book two on my Saint Kitts TBR list is A Court of Thorns and Roses, by Sarah J. Maas. I'll admit, I would make this my book one if it wasn't the first in a series. The shameless book spamming all over my Tumblr feed has me drooling at the mouth over this book! I was sure, if I read it first, I'd scrap all other reading materials until I'd devoured every installment, and I REALLY want to read Wink Poppy Midnight (a stand-alone), so...there you go. Stay tuned for my review! Here's the Goodreads
