Let Me Tell You About "Love": A Romantic Comedy Novella.
"Let Me Tell You About 'Love'" is a quirky romantic comedy inspired by Berlin's impossible dating scene. I wrote this novella when I was still living in Berlin. It was a cold and ruthless winter, like most of Berlin's winters. Amid my winter depression, when I sat down to write this novella, I decided to revisit an old idea that had matured with me. That's how “Let Me Tell You About ‘Love’” came to be.
The story revolves around a heartbroken protagonist who's also going through a meltdown at work. Just when she's out of hope, she stumbles across a strange business card of a personal guardian angel. While sure he's another delusional individual in Berlin, she still writes him, and they meet at a popular Berlin bar. She doesn't expect him to be ridiculously handsome, though. They share an evening full of banter and tension while breaking down stereotypes and prejudice. Maybe, just maybe, the so-called angel will manage to convince her not to give up on love. Not that she believes he's who he claims to be.

FREE FALLING is a humorous, spiritual coming-of-age story about self-love (and love!) and the importance of letting go.
It's a fantastical romantic comedy that deals with the struggles of a young woman (Anna) to hold on for dear life when everything around her falls apart after a bad breakup and a trip to Portugal that goes very wrong. It's not long before a crazy chain of events follows:
A bewitched seagull who claims to be an ex-womanizer and insists that only Anna can break the curse;
A handsome, world-famous guru who makes it hard to resist his charm;
A surprising encounter with her ex's best friend;
Spirits from the afterlife that drop by for a visit;
And one mysterious black cat who might be more than meets the eye;
Free Falling may be a humoristic book, but it deals with complicated matters:
Feeling frustrated from life after choosing to live according to what others want and expect instead of following one's dreams;
Struggling to find the evasive inner voice;
Trying to learn what to most people is the hardest thing of all: self love and self acceptance;
Dealing with grief and choosing to be happy;
The idea for this book came to me at once with no prior warning. I was going through a horrible breakup while traveling in Portugal five something years ago. Needless to say, I was miserable, and my trip wasn't going according to plan. I arrived in Lisbon on the rainiest week of the year. It wasn't possible to do anything, so I went to a meeting held by the Lisbon Writing Group. It was only supposed to be a fun get-together on a rainy afternoon, but apparently, it was so much more. I started writing this book right there and then and continued working on it well after my trip ended.
