2019 Releases

Wow, it’s hard to believe that 2018 is almost over! If your life is like mine, this past year has been one hell of a ride. I managed to build one hella social support platform, and am ready to get publishing!

I tried the traditional route this past year, and after endless queries, partial (and full) requests and NO responses, I’ve decided to self-publish. So, after one last round of edits,

So, after one last round of edits, Sentinel: Demon Assassin (book one of the Celestial Keys Series) is tentatively slated for release on May 14, 2019.

Yay! If this title sounds familiar, that’s because I originally published it on April 15, 2017.

After finding a few typos (and one massive plothole), I pulled it for a rewrite and serious edit. Premature and impatience, those should be my middle names; two things that do not jive with the publishing industry. So, lesson learned.

Another title coming out July 10, 2019, is my new erotic romance Roadtrip Freedom and be prepared, because it’s like nothing I’ve written before. And it’s for this very reason that this title will be released under a pseudonym – Leah Niles. Many writers – published, established, and new – will tell you it’s a personal preference; I’m doing it to keep my genres organized. I write mainly paranormal fantasy, sci-fi fantasy, horror/suspense/thrillers, and SOME paranormal romance. This erotic romance deserves to stand on its own two legs (or straight, flat spine :D)

Like with all my releases, they will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Kobo, and select others.

So, keep a weathered eye on the horizon, and here for updates, pre-launch giveaways, book cover reveals, and chances to win ARCs.

Breaking the Mold

Ok, this post may get a little long, but please bear with me.

While participating in a follow loop on Instagram today, I noticed something that almost made me mad. (I guess wisdom really does come with age

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. We shouldn’t be afraid of wishing someone a Merry Christmas. If they don’t observe the holiday, that’s fine, take the well-wishes in the manner they were given.

Don’t focus on being insulted. It’s a waste of energy.

Happy Holidays to all our troops, serving overseas!

If you’ll look to the right, four seats back, you’ll see my son giving a sweet grin and surfer fingers (not real sure why, we live in Louisiana).

He and his fellow soldiers deployed in October, and even though I knew he’d be gone for Christmas, I miss him terribly today. Our family gathering isn’t complete without him.

So please, keep our military men and women, as well as their families, in your hearts this holiday season, and thank a veteran for his or her service.

And be kind to one another. We may all be different, but inside, we are all the same.

Here’s to 2019, may it be the best year, yet to come.

Personality Quiz

So, I took this quiz yesterday and its objective is to tell the user (me) their personality type. This is how my results broke down:

I’m:

67% Introverted 33% Extraverted

94% Intuitive 6% Observant

63% Feeling 37% Thinking

63% Judging 37% Prospecting

99% Turbulent. 1% Assertive

According to the site, my specific personality occurs in less than 1% of the world’s population. Cool, but weird.

I found the results pretty accurate and actually understand myself (and anxiety) much better.

I am me. I am meant to be the way I am, and I will embrace my unique qualities instead of suppressing them.

Would you like to take the test? Follow this link:

16 Personalities

Let me know what your results are!

TRINITY now available on Nook, Apple iBooks and more!

In addition to being available for purchase on Amazon, Trinity is now on other digital platforms such as Nook, iBooks and more. Click ---> Draft2Digital in order to view every merchant!

As an added note, I believe in keeping digital books affordable for almost every budget, so I never price mine any higher than $2.99! I've also listed them through OVERDRIVE, which is what most libraries use for their eBook lending programs!

I'm also willing to provide free copies in exchange for honest reviews, I'm always on the lookout for reviews!

Synopsis:

There just ain’t no rest for the wicked, especially when you’re the most wicked one of all.

Hope O’Reilly is a covert assassin. Strangely it’s the only talent she has. Recruited by a secret society known only as The Trinity, they arm Hope with a multitude of killer skills - literally.

And for five years, Hope has loved and even coveted her career. It’s endowed her with vast fortunes, a buffet of cultural diversity and a hardened heart no other could claim. She learned at an early ago that there’s only one person she can truly count on - herself.

Until now.

When a botched job lands her in hot water with the bosses and evidence exposing her mom and dad’s murders surface, Hope embarks on a journey of self-discovery and revenge.

Reviews for Trinity!

"A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars." ~Tony Parsons

"The action is non-stop with the protagonist telling us what is on her mind!..." ~ Writer2050

"This book was a pretty interesting foray into the dicey world of mayhem, spies and murder." ~ Jim Dyar

Happy Hump Day!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

I am a proud mom of an Army son. I couldn't imagine my life without him and my heart goes out to all the families who've lost their own soldiers. Take this day and be grateful for your family and friends and remember those who have passed.

We are the HOME OF THE FREE because of THE BRAVE.

Howdy Do!

Welcome back,

I hope I haven't kept you waiting entirely too long.

I've been busy here lately and ask your forgiveness! Among staying busy with my writing, I've also had other things going on (don't worry, I don't have any dead bodies in the basement, that's absurd! I don't have a basement...)

Ahem.

I have managed to publish a new novel, entitled SENTINEL, you can click on the title and it will take you to the Amazon listing page. Here's a brief snippet:

Luna Ashwind is the Watcher’s top assassin and her marks are the big, bad uglies that slither out of Hell. She’s worked for a secret society of demon hunters since they found her broken, bleeding and unconscious just four short years ago. They nursed her body back to health but her mind is a different story.
Lucifer’s made good use of his time in Hell. He’s learned of a Heaven-forged talisman with the power to either start or stop the biblical apocalypse without God’s approval. For centuries, he’s sent his best demons topside in search of the three artifacts needed to create this celestial weapon.
Hellhound wrangler Kurbane is topside to capture the angel who stole Cerberus’ key to the Gates of Hell, but when the trail leads him to Luna, he realizes he’d bitten off more than he can chew. Luna is no mere angel – she’s the life or death of all creation.
Sometimes amnesia is a girl's best friend.
This has been my brainchild for more than ten years now and I - reluctantly - decided to shove it from the nest and let it fly. If you happen to read it, please consider leaving a review telling me what you thought about the story. Be honest - I can take it. And keep in mind, it's merely the beginning.

Thanks for tuning in!
