Starting on January 4, the Kindle edition of MY NAME WAS FIVE: A Novel of the Second World War will be available in the U.S. at a starting price of 99 cents and in the U.K. at a price of 0.99 pounds. (I have added an image of children at school wearing gas masks, just as I used to do, and a discussion of the last military newspaper ever published by the Nazis.
