che, con ritmo anapestico

vale a farti domestico

un mondo parallelo e immaginario.


Il limerick sta all'arte e alla poesia

come bruschetta alla gastronomia.

Ma l'agile sua metrica,

come un'abile ostetrica,

aiuta i parti della fantasia.


Il limericco e il lucido epigramma

son figli, in fondo, della stessa mamma.

Papà non è lo stesso

Più evasivo e più fesso

il nostro. Ma possiamo farne un dramma?
