Planning phase, a date with Tomorrowland…
“Planning phase, a date with Tomorrowland… & I thank God for today’s energy. I woke up peaceful, fresh, serene, and with a clear mind.
Trust me, it is not easy to reach that phase when you live in Lebanon, but the fact that I was able to reach it, it simply means that I have relocated at least in my mind, detaching myself from all local memories and materials.
What’s wrong with starting fresh elsewhere, what’s wrong with rebuilding tomorrow, and, the way I call it, what’s wrong with refurbishing your life!
I have always been an adventurist, I enjoyed the challenge, I faced it fearlessly, so, why not doing it again.
I believe the problem was my focus on staying near my children, but let’s face it, probably by me moving elsewhere, I will be opening an opportunity for them to be in my tomorrowland.
So, ready, and fresh…”

I did it before… Where is my diary?
“I did it before. It is not new for me to drop without a parachute, nor unusual to bounce back; &, as I said in my
biography, WHERE IS MY ANGEL? “The heavier the past or current events were, the stronger the bounce was. That was my strength, a strategy I learned early in life, and never failed me.”
I come to you today with an apology, apology for my being honest yesterday when sharing my low moments… and mostly for thanking you for your kind private messages, you made me feel heard, special, and mostly, you reminded me that I was not alone!
It feels good to talk, to have someone you share your thoughts and emotions with, it is something I never did. I was always the one taking on the load, and barely had time to unload mine.
Anyway… Here is how I did it before, and let’s see whether it is still working, where is my diary?
Writing makes people feel good, so get a paper, diary, copybook, and write down anything that comes to mind. Scribble, notes, ideas, dreams… Keep the healthy habits in the back of the mind, don’t over stress on the weight gain, if you are like me, and find a refuge in binge-eating, try to compensate with walks, swimming, drinking water, etc… and time will heal this habit, especially when you look at yourself and see that you did not forget your body.You see, food is like a band aid, we use it to feed our soul, no matter how we react, we need to do the feeding, so it’s ok to use food for a short period of time, but remember to compensate, until rationality and healing start taking place. Some smoke, some drink, I eat. That is why the next point is important.Talk to a friend. In my case, I feel that sometimes friends drown me deeper, because they usually come to me to psych them up. But it is important to have someone aware of your chute, fearing the mistake of doing something foolish.Be the master of your mind. Remind yourself of the good things in your life, find them. See the beauty in you. Collect memories of successful and happy incidents. Accept the drop, you are only human. & remind yourself that you deserve to be happy and successful. (My next book, and my biography book both discuss those points).
Last, life is a series of exciting moments, and yes, we appreciate the ups more after the downs we overcome.”
#MOI so, here comes a new ordeal to deal with, another phase!

Blind date #1
“Blind date #1…
I was anxious and kind of careless!
Anxious about the mysterious part of the person, and careless in the sense of not putting much effort into getting ready!
Why is the question, why careless?
Probably, I am not ready to embark on a new journey…
Probably, in my unconscious, I don’t want a man in my life…
Probably, my expectations are specific and I want to be on the safe side of not overdoing it…
Probably, I was determined to skip the next time & do the usual runaway…
Probably, I was afraid of failing my next…
Probably, I….
Too many probabilities for one reality… The minute I saw him, I told myself, next!
He is not the one!
Although, to be fair, deep down, I know, I was pre-determined to blow it, but, as well, it turned out
he was not the right candidate. So, as usual, I did the trick, the step I usually do when I am sure it is over, and
I ended it…
Clapping for me, I did not block him as we were sitting, but I think, it is coming soon!”
#MOI Next or none, is the question I ask myself, wondering about the damage caused that made me the monster I am
when it comes to relationships… I will keep you posted!

About MOMMY, I AM A PACER
Meet Abigail. Abigail is a girl who’s made a difference in her community by becoming a PACER, but what is a PACER?
A PACER is a person who exhibits perseverance, agility, clarity, empathy, and respect. In this collection of short stories, each book represents one of the letters of the word PACER and its attributed characteristics. Join Abigail as she perseveres in welcoming new members into her community, demonstrates her ability to make quick and successful decisions, learns to resolve conflicts by talking openly and honestly with others, and so much more!
Mommy, I’m a PACER encourages children to adopt the attitude of a PACER and teaches them how to interact with others and react positively to many different day-to-day situations.
About the Author
Badiaa Hiresh is a multi-dimensional woman with a passion for writing. She began her career in the jewelry business, working in sales. She worked for a period of time as an accountant and as a manager for different retail stores before entering the educational field in 2001.
Born in Lebanon, Hiresh moved to the United States at age 25 and lived there until 1997. She now once again resides in Lebanon with her two daughters, Vanessa and Tiffany. In 2015, Hiresh published her first book, Where Is My Angel? At present, she devotes most of her time to writing and advocating peace.
