“Life Detours, Alexandra’s Choices”, book synopsis:
This story is about women and for women.
Can broken hearts be mended?
Alexandra is a dreamer, the youngest child of a large, reserved family. She longs to escape her small-town life and begins a secret life when she is nearly sixteen, singing at a small pub in the next town over. Her parents find out and give her a choice: stop singing or leave home. She leaves and soon finds herself involved with a much older man. When she discovers she is pregnant, however, her entire life changes once more. She sets out on a journey to a big city, determined to make her own choices and find her dreams, regardless of the challenges she faces.
Between the life chosen for us and that we chose, we learn lessons that we forget with time. We end up sinking, derail from the right path, and then miss opportunities as we dread embarking on new waves, thanks to the depth of the wounds caused by those closest to us. But when we feel most disappointed in ourselves, we must be strong and remember we deserve happiness, justice, and success.
This novel follows the life and journey of a young woman facing an unexpected pregnancy without support from anyone and choosing to chase her dreams anyway.

He made my day, she said…
“He made my day, she said… Can you imagine my joy when my daughter says that to me!
Daughters are very special, and every woman is somebody’s daughter, sister, and mother!
My friend was neglected by someone new she met, and guys, I truly appreciate your input.
He met her through a friend, invited the whole group to dinner, and wouldn’t stop talking about her.
She liked him too, and felt he was a gentleman.
Later that week, he kept on contacting her, making plans, ignoring her throughout the day, ignoring her during the time of the plan, then contacting her again, a few days later….
To be honest, I was furious, she was hurt, and heartbroken.
Did I forget to mention that she is beautiful….
To me, all women are beautiful!
Did I forget to mention she is charismatic…
To me, all women are charismatic!
Did I forget to mention she is educated…
To me, education is not via the degree you earn only, many never had the opprtunity to attend university, but deserve all our respect, yet, yes she is educated!
Dear MAN, gentleman, Mr., Sir,
Let me tell you one thing.
One day you are going to wake up and find yourself alone, and worst, you will be lonely…
I am speaking for the women and on their behalf, if you are not gentleman enough to approach, please do not knock the door!
Every woman is beautiful, better to assess yourself, find yourself a mirror, and before you judge “US”, face yourself with the truth about you!
Trust me, I am not talking about myself, I stopped trusting because of similar situations. Yes, not all men are like, and not all women are alike. So, if you had a past, get over it before you hit the future…”

Why am I showing extreme and intense emotions? what is happening to me?
“Why am I showing extreme and intense emotions? what is happening to me?
Exactly the phase I went through once. I have always been able to control and deal with difficult situation, until the day I was deeply deceived by a specific person, and simply because, I was counting on this person emotionally.
Life strikes, it stikes with beauty, with opprtunities, and with emotional events. Sadly, when we take beauty for granted, and we see opportunities as if owed by the universe, this end up as a financial disaster, survivable with time; but when emotional events strike, and especially those that define specific situations, we end up weak, vulnerable, lonely among a crowd, afraid, and sinking.
About extreme emotions…
Can one actually show hatred if they have love in their heart?
Can one actually show hatred when they lose love?
Or, love was mixed up with duties and/or they were never loved?!”
As a result, I have difficulty trusting others (men) and often feel suspicious or paranoid about other people’s motives.
I am in control of my emotions, I show trust, but deep down, I runaway…
Am I running away from men? Love? the furture of relationships?
Do I feel I don’t deserve that love, although I have a lot to offer?
Well, out of experience I share with you the following. If you ever feel that you are judged and your emotional stability is at stake, if you feel that people look at you and say:
“You’re overreacting” “You’re too sensitive” “Stop being so dramatic”
Although what matters is the way you feel, remember that it important how you are perceived by others, and this should mean one thing, propably you are not in control of your emotions.
Remember you are not alone, talk to a friend, and better see a specialist!”

I received a message in a bottle today… what did it say?
“I received a message in a bottle today… what did it say?
I woke up to see a bottle by the dresser, full of dust, must be very old;
I washed it carefully, fearing of ruining the outside in case it had any glitter;
No, it was smooth, plain glass, simply it was smoked glass;
As I turned it, upside down to dry, I heart something inside moving;
I looked, it was a piece of paper… my first reaction was, what don’t they use the garbage bin?
Anyway, the paper looked neat and rolled, so I pulled it out;
I read what was written, and was disappointed.
Date: 15 years earlier on my birthday
Message: Mom, go out more like all the other mommies, we love you!
Signature: Your daughters
I cried…
I cried for missing the bottle;
I cried for I missed reading my daughters’ message, although they said it many times;
I cried for neglecting myself, and knowing they noticed it, not a good example;
I cried for…
Well, you can still sit and cry the days you missed, but, as well, you can start enjoying the days ahead!
HOW MANY OF YOU ARE MISSING MESSAGES IN A BOTTLE AROUND THEM, DON’T JUST STEP OVER THEM AND WALK AWAY….
