Fairytale

I remember that the day was warm. The sun kissing my skin, the hot wind filling my lungs. I can still smell the salt water as it’s softly slapped onto the beach. But most of all, I remember the dark clouds in the distance that we’re rolling towards us angrily. Lightning that cut through the sky with purple and gold striking. The sound of the siren in the town blaring.

I never thought it’d be the last time I would see a normal day. When the shadows gripped us in their void, we had nothing to hold on to. The cold that sliced through our minds was the only thing that kept us from total emptiness. When it was all over we were surrounded by a world unknown.

One untouched by human filth. It did not take it long to start weeding us out. Turning each soul into ash that would fertilize the land. Now we hide in the deep woods, within the green, staying quiet. For if they hear us… We will know true silence again.

Denial

“I was promised a phenomenal experience. However, I was unaware that it meant something that would leave a scar on my bones. I began to believe maybe I was dreaming whenever the doors first locked and the window shutters were chained. Denial had set in, but I immediately knew that there was no way out. And as I sat there by myself, grieving in a corner, my eyes finally opened.

I remember you telling me once that fairy tales were real. That you would show me one day. I had just dismissed it as being a little crazy. Yet, as I fixed my gaze on the beast of fantasies, I knew it was not just a joke on your end. Horrifyingly, I realized that fairy tales do exist. Just not in the way I hoped they would be.”

She was mesmerized by the dancing lights that adorned the stonewalls. But as much as the beauty capture her attention, her awareness of their tricks allowed her to recognize the trap they had planned. She had encountered them many times before. For Aisha, these little games they played were a delightful pastime now. Although each one unique in its nature, they all shared a common trait. Dark and twisted, capable of breaking bones if one wasn’t cautious.

Her hair, the color of autumn leaves, flowed in the gentle, warm night breeze. Aisha’s lips curled into a smile, revealing her amusement. Even now, as an adult, she still felt a rush of excitement at the thought of playing games like she did as a child. Her sanity relied on it. When she wasn’t listening to her father’s shouts or her mother’s cries. She would refuse to acknowledge her sisters’ futile prayers to the gods for their brother’s return. Outside, she would sing with the shadows and bet on their charades.

Aisha had been crowned queen on their board, and they loathed it. And now, amidst the sound of wicked laughter echoing through the old ruins, she stared at a new match in front of her. With a smirk, she pictured smoke rising into the sky, choking the air with its acrid smell. This would be a game that she was going to love playing. One full of fire and ash.

The creaking of the rusted metal floor sent shivers up Alex’s spine, causing her to pause. Fear filled her dark eyes, and her trembling lips parted. The darkness ahead whispered of secrets and sadness, a feeling so heavy that it was etched into her bones.

Outside, vines of dying flowers forced their way through the decaying structure, and the scent of sour, salty water wafted from below. A world once meant to withstand the engulfing ocean now lay as a wasteland. A part of her did wonder what had become of the people that had once lived on this world.

As darkness engulfed her, she thought about how this wasn’t the life she had wanted. And yet the echoes of childhood dreams, once shared with friends, now seemed like mindless words. Her memories were torn away when the tall structure seemed to sway under her feet. These towering metal skyscrapers threatened her existence, promising to tear apart her flesh and devour her bones. She knew it to be the truth.

As whispers and cries surrounded her, she listened, and it seemed as if those echoes spook of betrayal. Whatever had happened to this place, had been long ago, and very violent. And it wanted revenge…, Amidst these twisted thoughts, one clear idea prevailed—reach the other side, find the checkpoint, and win. It didn’t have to be as complicated as it seemed.

The broken, withering place clung to existence, but Alex refused to be held back. She would move forward, ignoring the surrounding monsters. Crushing flowers beneath her feet, she entered the next area. It’s cold room wrapping around her wrists, pulling her deeper into the unknown. Determined, she vowed to defeat the shadows, bringing back victory from the grip of the damned.

Shepherd

When the rain ceased and the morning cautiously revealed itself, the sinister echoes intensified, forcing dragonflies to flee in desperation. My bright, blue eyes scanned relentlessly for the sign that has haunted me since my arrival in the valley—the crimson glow of the shepherds. A beacon promising hope for those lost.

Yet, as my lips quivered and a chilling wind embraced my frail form, I sensed a subtle shift in the world—a transformation so subtle, others wouldn’t notice it until they were trapped within. The blight’s insidious touch has poisoned the land here more then any other.
It’s why we were dumped here, to try to keep it at bay. Our job is suppose to  simple… scrub the valley and keep it clean so that the blight cannot enter the kingdom.

I reject the role of a pawn by those who have put us here. With each step forward, a sickness churns in my stomach. Could I be the reason for the despair gripping those around me? For I refuse to follow the path of those who came before me. When the rain starts again I toss out all ideas of being the villain, for I am but a lost sheep amidst the tangled weeds, yearning to find my shepherd.

Wren

In moments like this, Wren could hear the haunting murmurs of countless souls, their pleas for liberation echoing through the air. Fingers strained against chains that pulled them into the abyss of despair, yearning for a life free from ceaseless torment—an unattainable dream that filled Wren with guilt.

Her mind seethed with the frustrations of wickedness buried deep within. Desires surged to tear the flesh of the innocent and unravel the delicate fabric of the tamed balance. Whenever her skin tingled with the lure of temptation, Wren forced her mind to break free, to capture the little sanity she had left.

As her dark hair fell to the crimson peaks of her cape, it billowed with an aura of malevolence, swirling in defiance. As she advanced, hands clenched in determination her heart pounded. Pale-faced, her obsidian eyes scanned the night, absorbing the hushed shadows of the sprawling city. Wishing for solace under the shroud of darkness, a warm wind whispered around her, sending shivers down her spine. It spoke of the ominous presence lurking ahead.

I am still writing

Hello!

Just wanted to give a quick update that I am still here. And I am still writing. This year’s just been crappy and I know a lot of people can relate to that. And some new health issues decided to pop up because that’s lovely. So I’ve been slow at editing my books but I assure you I did finish three. It’s just I’ve been dealing with all this other stuff that I’m slow at editing. I’m trying to work on two of them more than others. Which is Oblivion and another book called Winchester that I haven’t really talked about. Winchester might come out before Oblivion just because it’s shorter and will be easier to work on. I probably should have started editing now and first or advertising that one first heh

I just wanted to say that yes I’m still here haha I love writing and I’m always thinking of new story ideas. My goal once I start getting my health and better shape, is to start writing more and exploring other genres. Of course sci-fi horror will always be my favorite though.Otherwise I’m just chilling with my dogs and chickens and trying to make the most of a messed up economy where you’re just broke all the time lol Thanks to anyone who still sticking by me!

The Dawn of Oblivion

The planet is dead. Can she escape being next?

“Clinging to the last vestige of a world in ruins, Amaya must fight tooth and nail to carve out a place for herself and save the people she loves. Faced with rival survivors, bloodthirsty monsters, and the ever-looming threat of starvation, the wasteland will push Amaya to her limits – and force her to question what she’s willing to do to survive.

Amid their ruined planet, creatures linger in the dark. Staying quiet and watching her every move may be her only weapon. But after she falls in with a group of survivors, secrets begin to spill out… and it soon becomes clear that the monsters are the least of her problems. The real devil in the dark might be right beside her.

Because when you’re when faced with oblivion, it’s impossible to know who you can trust…”

Oblivion is a thrilling post-apocalyptic science fiction novel about one girl’s fight for survival against all odds. Set in the last vestige of a dying world, Amaya struggles to carve out a place for herself amid a hostile wasteland crawling with monsters. When she falls in with a gang of survivors, she thinks she’s found momentary safety – but as secrets begin to spill out, she quickly realizes that their already messed up world is about to get much darker…

Imbued with themes of courage, resilience, and triumph against the odds, Oblivion is a riveting and imaginative sci-fi novel that explores the dark side of humanity – and the lengths we’re willing to go to in order to survive. Perfect for any reader who loves post-apocalyptic and futuristic fiction, this gripping book has all the high-stakes thrills and eerie suspense that will keep you hooked from the very first page.

My newest book will be out soon! Just a few things left to do. I finished this book over a year ago. But, just started getting things moving. It’ll be on amazon for ebook and paperback. Just as I always do… It is a sci-fi thriller! But what else would it be? I love horror crazy stuff! Adventures that make you stay on the edge of your seat! Also I have another book that is finished too and will come out this year too… hopefully. I am glad to get another out. I know I don’t make money on my books but it is fun knowing that maybe somebody will read it! Who knows?

Will it’ll be coming soon! Thanks for reading and being supportive.

Something new coming soon!

I know I don’t post much on my website. And I apologize for that! But I never know what I’m supposed to post. I guess I’m just bad at that. But I do post more on my Instagram, so if you’re interested in that. I am there too!

Anyway the point is that I will be coming out with something soon! It’s a book I’ve had finished for a while now but I’m still excited about it. I finished three books in the last year and a half and I want to publish at least two of them this year. One of them I probably won’t be able to publish for a while because it’s actually a prequel to a different book. Which I haven’t even started on that series yet heh…

Anyway this new novel that’s coming out, is of course a sci-fi action! But there’s nothing I left more than horror and adventures. I hope people enjoy it. I don’t expect it to make giant waves or anything. I spend more money than I make when I self-publish. And that’s okay! Maybe someday I’ll be a best-seller or maybe I want ever be one. It’s okay because I just love writing, so self-expression thing and it’s really relaxing and fun.

I’m trying to focus on other books too. But I get so distracted by so many different ideas. Sometimes I just can’t focus on one! Which makes me not able to focus on any. But as I said, I will have one out soon. I’m having the cover made now! So I’ll be able to post that soon. Otherwise, I just finished a series called The Glory on Netflix! It’s a Korean show and it’s so good! About a girl getting revenge on her high school bullies. It’s so good! I’ve been just watched it in two days. Also I’ve almost finished a family size box of tricks in 2 days haha

I should make it a goal to try and post more on here. I guess I’ll try to figure out what too post on here. Well anyway! If you’ve read this, thank you. And stay tuned!
