Sharon Y. Edlin is a children’s author and retired Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with children and families. She blends her deep understanding of childhood development with a heart full of imagination—creating stories that nurture growth, spark joy, and celebrate kindness.

She is the author of "Shmoopie: A Whole Hug Planet" and "Speck: The Dust Who Dared to Dream," two tender picture books that remind children they are seen, loved, and capable of wonderful things.

The statement above is a positive spin on falling apart and I’m trying a lot harder these days to be positive.

I’m not mentally falling apart, no, I’m talking about physically and the positive spin on this is that things are actually falling in place from the point of understanding why.
